Caffè - Ristorante Sole in Berlin

The atmosphere was cozy. The food was delicious. The service was excellent.

Big warning! Yesterday I ordered a "risotto with veal strips and porcini mushrooms" for €16, and the mushrooms were spoiled/inedible! The sheer amount of mushrooms in the dish was already odd; the "porcini" mushrooms were scattered throughout the risotto in large chunks (quartered?). For that price, I would normally expect smaller slices. Well, after the first bite, it was clear why the mushrooms could be distributed so generously: they weren't porcini mushrooms at all! Or—worst case scenario—they were spoiled! I've eaten many porcini mushrooms in my life, including ones I've picked myself, and I know what porcini mushrooms taste like. Above all, I know they taste *good*. These were truly disgusting; I've never eaten such revolting mushrooms. I also had a colleague try them, who confirmed that the mushrooms were bad. I then approached a female server who offered me a salad "with vegetables" as a replacement. The vegetables consisted of carelessly arranged lettuce hearts and cucumber slices. The very unfriendly older male waiter then proceeded to lecture me, claiming he had once been a chef himself and that this was the proper way to prepare porcini mushrooms. It's almost laughable, if it weren't so sad! Avoid this pseudo-Italian restaurant and don't be fooled by the information on the menu! 🤮

Very delicious Italian food. Centrally located and very attentive service.

I had spaghetti carbonara, which was very thick and unfortunately not at all al dente, but rather very soft and wobbly. The bacon had a strange aftertaste in some parts, and when I asked for Parmesan, the waiter, who was very friendly, only gave me two teaspoonfuls. My partner had a pizza mista with a grand total of two slices of salami, two slivers of ham, and barely visible mini pepperoni. Sorry, but for the prices charged, I expect (and get) better quality (in other pizzerias, in less touristy areas). We won't be coming back.

Great Italian restaurant in a historic ambience on Frankfurter Allee. Ideal sundowner sun for a wine or spritz. Then we continue with a very classic Vitello Tonato. Tender veal with very tasty tuna sauce. Strong entry. Then pasta: both ravioli and fetucchini with truffles were cooked to perfection and perfectly prepared. An affogato for dessert completes a great meal. The Italian service was always very attentive. Classic Italian, no frills, who knows what he's doing! There is room for improvement when it comes to wine.

We have lived here for more than 20 years and this is the best Italian restaurant. They have been here for 6 years now, but it feels like an eternity. The best service. The tastiest food, everything fresh, good music. The chef is a friend of ours.

I ordered penne pollo and it was fantastic. Getting a large, freshly prepared portion for the price is no longer a given these days. Service was super nice, brought us parmesan when we asked, there were olives and homemade bread as an appitizer - all in all a lovely evening. Will definitely come back! :)

Would have liked to eat here. Unfortunately, the opening times on Google were not updated and we found ourselves in front of a locked door. Too bad! The opening times on Facebook and the website are also not up to date.

Ich habe vor ein paar Tagen das Restaurant Sole besucht und meine Erwartungen wurden weit übertroffen. Die Atmosphäre hat gestimmt, das Personal war sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich und haben sich sehr gut um die Gäste gekümmert. Das Essen ist sehr authentisch und lecker gewesen. Ich würde das Restaurant jeder Zeit wieder besuchen. Sehr zu empfehlen!

The food was good, but my problem was - we orderd the same dish but my partner (who is a man) got bigger portion. I think that is discrimination and it is disappointing.

We went to the restaurant because our originally chosen Bohemian restaurant was closed. When we arrived at Sole we received a friendly welcome. The selection is wide and the prices are a bit high. But the portions aren't really big. So I wasn't really full. I found that a bit unfortunate. But the service was really super nice. Nevertheless, next time I'll go to Focaccia Mia on Boxhagener Str, for example, because the price-performance ratio is better there.

A nice place to enjoy authentic Italian cuisine that tastes very delicious. Both the pizzas and the pasta dishes were delicious! What I always love is when everyone gets their food at the same time!!! That was a complete success!!! Children are a top priority in Italy anyway, and in this place they are served with love and fun, there are special children's dishes! All in all, just a nice place to spend a cozy evening! Thank you very much!

We ate here for my son's birthday. And even though there were 16 of us and the restaurant was very busy, we received great service... Everything was quick, friendly... Very good service! The food tasted very tasty. We were completely satisfied and can highly recommend the Ristorante!!!

Highly recommended and authentic Italian. Directly at the Frankfurter Tor subway station. Good house wines and really very friendly service. Pizza and tiramisu were also excellent. Price/performance also good. Will definitely come back here at the next opportunity.

Ciao... Waren heute spontan dort essen, sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, sauber. Das Essen war frisch & hat super lecker geschmeckt! Werden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen GRAZIE SIMONA

Vorsicht. Touri-Falle! Essen zum Mitnehmen vor Ort bestellt. Für die Wartezeit zwei Getränke bekommen, wobei wir von ausgingen, dass diese "aufs Haus" bereitgestellt werden. Schlussendlich beim Bezahlen 14 Euro für zwei winzige Plastikgläser bezahlt. Servicetechnisch: Von vorn Freundlich tun, um am Ende hintenherum zu kassieren. Wir gehen nie wieder dahin. Gibt schließlich viele andere gute Italiener in der Nähe.

Sehr tolles Restaurant mit aufmerksamen und freundlichem Personal. Wir hatten die gemischte Vorspeisenplatte, Vitello Tonnato und eine Pizza. Alles wurde zu zweit geteilt und für sehr lecker befunden. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder :)

Unhöflicher Kellner, ganz schlechter Service. Ich bin im zehnten Monat schwanger und extra hierher gekommen, obwohl mir jeder Schritt schwerfällt, ich kaum gehen oder stehen kann und Rückenschmerzen ohne Ende habe. Habe mich riesig auf ein Eis gefreut, sollte ein kleines Highlight sein, und treffe auf einen Kellner, der nur eine Miniportion Sahne drauf macht, also wirklich unverschämt wenig, keine Soße von dem Eis, keine Waffel, alles wird mir lieblos hingeknallt, einen Löffel kriege ich auch nicht, obwohl ich das Eis im Becher bestellt habe, und als ich frage, ob ich gleich bezahlen kann, werde ich von dem Typen einfach ignoriert, er ging mit der Karte an mir vorbei zu einem Tisch mit mehreren Gästen, weil da wohl mehr Trinkgeld zu erwarten war, und ließ mich stehen. 👎👎 Ganz schlecht. Außerdem haben die Angestellten die Angewohnheit, sich mit ihren Zigaretten DIREKT vor die offene Seitentür zu stellen, dadurch zieht der Rauch natürlich ins Café hinein und alles riecht nach Zigaretten. Darum war mein Aufenthalt beim letzten Mal sehr kurz, habe keine Lust, von Zigarettengestank umgeben zu sein, deswegen hatte ich mich ja extra reingesetzt, und nach der Erfahrung heute beim zweiten Besuch komme ich überhaupt nicht mehr wieder.

Waren zu Besuch in Berlin in diesem Restaurant eingeladen. Ein nettes Ambiente mit aufmerksamen Personal. Die Bruschetta sowie Pizza und Nudelgericht waren geschmacklich hervorragend und schnell serviert. Die Bruschetta hätte gerne größer sein dürfen, die Pizza und das Nudelgericht war absolut ausreichend. ( Nicht nur) für Berliner Verhältnisse angemessene Preise. Empfehlenswerter Italiener in Berlin.

Soweit zum Personal. * Null italienische Atmosphäre - karierte Tischdecken machen keinen Italiener aus. Mehr Bahnhof als Italien. PIZZA MISTA : 1 X Pizza Teig, 3 Scheiben Salami, ALDI CHAMPIGNONS 3. WAHL AUS DER BÜCHSE - ja und Käse. 11.oo €. / Pizza CALCONE, verbrannt, regelrecht verkohlt. Das hätte man dem Kellner und / oder dem Koch um die Ohren hauen sollen. Und dann noch ewig gewartet. Sowas geht gar nicht. Wir kennen andere Iitalienische Restaurants - das hier kann man - nein, muß man einfach vergessen. N I E W I E D E R !! - Versprochen.

Wurden wirklich sehr herzlich empfangen &‘ dauerhaft bedient! Damit meine ich das Änderung des Gerichtes, ständige extra Wünsche ohne Probleme erfüllt wurden &‘ wir einfach dauerhaft das Gefühl hatten in freundlicher Umgebung zu sein. Wirklich sehr zu empfehlen!!! Fast das köstliche Essen vergessen 😂 Also nicht nur das Personal super gut sondern auch das Essen.

Das Restaurant Caffe Sole besuchte ich weil ich ein WLan Caffe suchte. D h. kein Essen, sondern nur ein leckeres Latte Macchiato genießen während ich lernte. Ein Plus genau deswegen. Der Kellner war super nett und freundlich, auch wenn ich keinen Absicht hatte, ein komplettes Menü zu bestellen. Er hat mir noch dazu ein leckeres, frisches Tiramisu empfohlen, die gar nicht extrem süß oder mächtig war. Hervorragend. Ich freue mich auf nächsten Besuch und leckere frisches Pasta. Grazzie!

Obgleich nicht auf der Karte, wurde meine Frage nach einer Pizza "Napolitana" umgehend in die Tat umgesetzt. Also bekam ich eine Pizza mit Sardellen, die sehr lecker schmeckte.

Ein klassisches italienische Restaurant mit Saisonkarte in guter Lage, die Mitarbeiter sind alle samt sehr freundlich, zuvorkommend und aufmerksam. Die Preise bewegen sich für den Bezirk im untere Drittel, die Qualität eher im oberen Bereich, nach Rückmeldung meiner Begleitung könnten die Salate etwas mehr pfiff vertragen. Der innenbereich ist sehr schön gestaltet. Am Ambiente außen kann noch einiges verbessert werden. Insgesamt war es ein schöner Abend und das Restaurant ist auf jeden Fall einen weiteren Besuch wert.

Vriendelijk personeel, arrogante, onbeschofte baas. Dat we op het terras alleen iets wilden drinken beviel hem al niet. Geeft op bitse wijze te kennen geen contant geld aan te nemen (staat nergens) en schreeuwt ons toe dat we naar de bank moeten.

Selten, eigentlich noch nie, habe ich eine derartige "gastfeindliche" , arrogant- überhebliche Bewirtung erlebt. Hier ist der Wirt der König, der Gast hat sich zu fügen und nicht noch irgendwelche Sonderwünsche vorzutragen, die anderswo gar nicht als solche verstanden werden. Mit sechs Erwachsenen und vier Kindern war trotz Reservierung kein adäquater Tisch zu erhalten. Patzige, dümmlich Reaktionen und Antworten. Auf eigentlich alles. Nie wieder. Das Essen als solches war auch wahrlich kein wirkliches Vergnügen.

Sehr feine kleine Pizzeria mit dem gewissen "Etwas". Herzlicher Empfang, eine sehr aufmerksame Bedienung und mega leckere Pizza aus dem Steinofen. Wahrscheinlich gibt es hier noch viele weitere leckere Gerichte, aber dazu kann ich leider nichts schreiben. Zum Abschied gab's noch ein Schnäppschen aufs Haus 👍Von mir gibt's 5 Sterne!
