Unfortunately overrated. Pasta with mussels was too salty and the cutlery wasn't clean. In addition, the staff is extremely loud and chaotic - not a relaxed atmosphere. Because we came spontaneously at 5:30 p.m. and didn't have a reservation, we were seated at a cat table on the pedestrian path in the middle of the sun, while the rest of the tables were empty until we left. Ridiculous and unprofessional store. There are much better Italians in Berlin.

First of all, it's always sad to write a 1 star review, but unfortunately it was definitely appropriate here. Unfortunately the food was catastrophic accompanied by angry screaming waiters - not all but many. One person in particular - rather short with glasses and a beard - only swore in Italian yesterday. Extremely unpleasant. The lasagne was cold and tasted thawed. Zero taste! Maybe we had a bad day but this was the worst Italian restaurant we have ever been to

Unfriendly and intrusive service. We had the impression that they wanted to get rid of us as quickly as possible after dinner. Had a reservation and got a cat table on the pedestrian walkway. It was in no way comfortable or hospitable. We won't go there again and it's not recommended.

Hello. I have to share my opinion about the service in the restaurant. Unfortunately, I felt that foreigners were not welcome. the waiter ignored my request for a table and gladly accepted the German guests, ignoring my request. Unfortunately, I don't know if it was due to not knowing a foreign language or simple reluctance because the waiter didn't want to continue the conversation. As for the food, unfortunately I didn't have the opportunity to try it, which is a pity. I don't recommend it.

Terrible! I was there with three other people. As we were waiting for our food, one of the waiters started an argument with a customer. The waiter was screaming like a 3 year old child. After about 10 to 15 minutes we all got our food. We were satisfied with the taste of the dishes but not with the price. When I wanted to order creme brulee for dessert, I first made sure that the creme brulee was flambéed. The waiter said yes. When I got a non-flambéed crème brulee for over €10 I was outraged! When I pointed this out to the waiter, he didn't want to admit it, but he just argued with a loudly raised voice and uncomfortable physical proximity.

Reserved 3 weeks ago.. ended up being offered a place without a roof when it rained. Seriously? How are you supposed to eat there when it's raining heavily? When it rains, you move the table completely away, which is an impertinence. Then make ironic-sarcastic comments, impudence! Too bad we will never try the food here due to this unreasonable experience.

There's not much to say about this restaurant. Definitely a pearl in the jungle restaurant in the big city. Authentic restaurant with excellent food and a special flair.

Servers are trash. Food, half of menu not there. Cash only. No English menu either. Apperently the whole restaurant is reserved, shoved us on a tiny table, while 6 or 7 empty tables. One of the waiters was high as a kite. Never again. P.S. Burrata was good.

Very tasty food, a bit rough but good service, very tasty food. I also think the ambience is great, both outside and inside.

Despite the high occupancy, the staff were always very friendly and helpful, and the starters and main courses were really excellent. The actual map is very “clear”, but there is a day menu that was presented to us by the service. Very good wine selection, but the open wines are very expensive. The prices for the food reflect the high quality and are quite reasonable. You sit outside with a side view of Viktoria-Luise-Platz, but the tables are very “comfortably” close to each other. The interior is rather rustic and has no ventilation (which is immediately noticeable given the number of guests, as is the high volume).

Unfortunately, one of the side potatoes with the liver was spoiled, which diminished the overall enjoyment. The service could have been more attentive when clearing up. The pasta dishes were very good and we would like to come back. The landlord is extremely attentive and you sit very comfortably.

The reservation was not taken into account and we were turned away very unfriendly.

No question, the food is really good and the waiters are attentive and gesture in Italian, explaining in detail the dishes that are not on the menu. But the acoustics in the room are catastrophic: it's loud when it's full and (perhaps?) it's getting louder and louder. I would be happy to visit Osteria Ribalrone again - if I can get a seat outside!

The restaurant is quietly located in a square. When the weather is nice you can sit outside on the terrace. The staff is very friendly, quick and helpful. The food was very tasty. Price/performance is ok. In my opinion, the products on offer are always at the upper price limit for what is on offer. A glass of wine (0.2) costs 10€. This seems to be (almost) normal today. However, I find it a bit too expensive. As an appetizer you get bread and olives and at the end you get a nightcap from the house. That is very nice. All in all, it's a very nice restaurant with friendly service and good Italian food in the middle of Berlin. Is definitely recommended.

My shop in Berlin! Great ambience, attentive and warm service, very good cuisine and excellent wines. A little hidden, next to a bakery, opposite a small park and in the middle of a residential area, you feel like you're in Italy for a few hours...

Reservation is recommended! Very nice restaurant to sit outside. Staff is very attentive. Lots of daily specials. Authentic cuisine, although the vongole were unfortunately far too spicy. Unfortunately, desserts (ice cream and tartufo) were not homemade. We'd love to come back!

Die Osteria Ribaltone ist eine herrliche italienische Osteria - wunderbar vollgestellt mit Motorsport-Devotionalien bis hin zu einer alten Moto Guzzi und sonstigem Krimskrams. Man sitzt hier wie in einer typischen italienischen Trattoria eng auf eng, das Lokal ist sehr beliebt und wenn man einen Besuch plant ist eine Reservierung dringend angeraten. Auf der Speisekarte stehen norditalienische Spezialitäten sowie diverse Tagesangebote, die vom Service am Tisch vorgestellt werden. Es gibt auch einen gute Auswahl an italienischen Weinen. Der Service ist freundlich und herrlich hemdsärmelig.

Food was good, but unfortunately the olives were too salty. The bread wasn't brought to us until we had already had our food?! I ordered a wine, then got 0.2l and asked the young female waitress who only speaks English if it was 0.1l and she said “yes”… but in the end they still charged 0.2l. If you have no idea about your job then you shouldn't waitress!

The best Italian restaurant in town! A little too small, a little too narrow, a little too hectic - it's just the best Italian restaurant in town! Anyone looking for a romantic candlelight dinner probably won't be happy here, but anyone who likes Italian cuisine should reserve a table here.

We had only chosen from the recommendations of the day that the waiter had presented and were a bit surprised by the rather high prices when we paid. It's better to ask about the price of the dishes beforehand!😉. Everything was super tasty, and that's okay. The atmosphere in the restaurant is great. We felt and very comfortable. However, it is quite tight and cozy. If we wanted to leave our table, the guests at the next table also had to get up to let us out. All in all, a great evening. We'd love to come back. Big recommendation!

We were here a few days ago. Unfortunately, the tables were very close together and therefore extremely full. We found the service to be quite stressful and were even moved several times. Seemed unprofessional. Unfortunately, the food wasn't convincing either, but tastes differ. Unfortunately only 2 out of 5 stars.

Really nice Italian restaurant with fantastic dishes (only the lasagne is always a little salty), which are always on the table relatively quickly. You definitely need to make a reservation, especially if you want to sit outside.

Best italian place i know in Berlin.

We ate here with several people. From the outside, the restaurant looks like a cheap pub and even has the “corona curtain” with a mask requirement symbol on it. Not very inviting. Inside, you'll find a very small restaurant filled with chairs and tables, even though there's obviously not enough space. In addition, old bicycles, motorcycles with an Italian connection, but also all sorts of other junk hang randomly on the walls. It seems very conceptless and not nicely decorated, more like a general store. In any case, there was hardly any space at the table, everything was narrow and uncomfortable. Every trip to the toilet, which was also very narrow and dirty, should be carefully considered. The ordering process was very unprofessional - none of the guests at our table were given a card, only a "special card" was read out in broken German. It was not communicated beforehand that this was the only way to choose a dish. After all, I didn't want a "special dish". I've never experienced anything like that in a restaurant. I neither had a dish in mind nor were prices communicated or presented in any way (regardless of whether the host pays or not). As a guest, I want to know what I'm getting - and understandably so. Luckily, during my previous research I came across an old menu with hefty prices. However, these will now be even higher. The food, pasta, was basically okay, but at €17(+) it was pretty steep. However, due to the unprofessionalism and overall impression of this place, the price of the food is not right considering the circumstances. In other stores I get a decent ambience and no stadium atmosphere due to the noise of other guests. Overall, I found the evening very tiring and would definitely not eat here again. For me, eating out has to create a pleasant, relaxed atmosphere. At the same time, a card in the customer's hand is mandatory and customary.

A taste sensation! The restaurant uses every inch for a table and chairs and seems to be very popular. It is recommended to make a reservation at least 1 week in advance so that you can get a table here. The service is fantastic. You can only find a fraction of the dishes on the menu. The dishes here change regularly and a waiter presents them in a very pleasant manner. I prefer it to be a little quieter, so there is a slight deduction in the ambience. In general, the restaurant is worth a visit.

Food was amazing and so was service too. Owner was lovely takin us in to our table. Whole fish and truffel pasta was a good choice. Love this place. Definately will come back again. I recomend this to everybody.

Seit Jahrzehnten mein absoluter Lieblingsitaliener - trotz der gehobenen Preise wird immer gute bis sehr gute Qualität geboten! Direkt am Victoria-Luise-Platz gelegen, überwiegend Stammpublikum, im Sommer gibt's Terrassenplätze, in der kalten Jahreszeit ist's drinnen eng aber gemütlich, dazu liebevoll dekoriert. Fühle mich immer sehr wohl dort. Reservierung dringend empfohlen, auch an Wochentagen!

Also ein klares ja schon…..aaaaber: Der Chef ist soooo unfreundlich! Er rasselt die Gerichte des Tages so unglaublich lustlos und unfreundlich herunter, dass man weder mitkommt noch eines auswählen kann. Wenn man dann noch kurz überlegt oder nachfragt, bekommt man nochmals aber äußerst ungeduldig die Gerichte wiederholt oder kurz erklärt. Ok wenn diese Hürde genommen ist, ist das liebe und fröhlich freundliche Personal eine Wohltat. DANKE! Die Portionen sind darauf ausgerichtet, dass man wirklich Vor,- Haupt- und Nachspeise essen muss um satt zu werden. Die Qualität ist sehr gut!

Die Gerichte sind wirklich ausgezeichnet, die im Käselaib gewendeten Spaghetti mit Trüffeln ein Traum. Auch Fisch und Fleisch sind von hervorragender Qualität. Der Service ist schnell und aufmerksam, doch stehen die Tische im Innenbereich leider viel zu eng. Man kommt kaum durch, auch die Bedienung nicht. Es ist daher laut, die Luft im Winter schlecht, man wird oft gestört. Dafür gibt´s Punkteabzug.

Wir waren hier lecker als Familie essen und haben uns durch einige Sachen durchprobiert. Die Vorspeise mit dem Ziegemkäse war hervorragend. An Hauptspeisen haben uns am besten die Pfifferling Pasta und die Pasta mit den Muscheln geschmeckt! Das Ambiente und Personal waren wirklich toll und wir kommen sehr gerne wieder :) Es gibt auch einige Vegane/Vegetarische Gerichte zu Verfügung!

Waren gestern spontan bei euch und hatten Glück ein Tisch zubekommen. Service und Essen war spitze. Trotz vollem Laden haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Team arbeitet gut zusammen und ist eingespielt.

Was für ein gelungener Geburtstagsabschluss! Wir sind ohne Reservierung, allerdings sehr früh dort aufgeschlagen (ich kann nicht empfehlen ohne Reservierung hinzugehen) und da ich meinen Geburtstag feierte (60.) haben wir auch noch einen Tisch ergattert. Das Essen war phantastisch und grundsolide, der Service aufmerksam, freundlich und schnell! Es hat wirklich Spaß gemacht. Ob die Pasta, das warme Carpaccio mit Trüffeln, die Gamberonis oder der geniale Nachtisch, alles perfekt! leider habe ich keine Fotos gemacht, denn auch die Art der Anrichtung war phantasievoll und gelungen. Geht einfach hin, nicht ohne Reservierung!

Kultur in Berlin, wir sind immer wieder dort bei jedem Berlin-Besuch

Leider waren die Vongole versalzen und die Nudeln super al dente, außerdem waren geschlossene Muscheln dabei. Auf Beanstandung wurde leider komplett überheblich reagiert. Habe dann aufs Hauptgericht verzichtet. Schade

Das Essen war sehr lecker und frisch. Die Mitarbeiter schnell, freundlich. Leider sehr laut, da das Restaurant voll war, man konnte sich nicht gut unterhalten. Aber daran kann man nichts ändern.

Das Essen war wirklich gut und schmeckte super. Die Mitarbeiter waren sehr höflich, sympathisch und hilfsbereit. Für mich war es ein spontaner Stopp nach einem Arztbesuch, aber es wird nicht der letzte gewesen sein.

The food was reasonable, if oversalted. The proprietor/manager was rude, dismissive and impatient. We would have had a dessert, but we were ignored. Finally we asked for the bill and it was slapped down on the table. The staff seemed to welcome regulars, but were dismissive of new customers. We would not recommend.

Little Italian eatery you might just walk by if not knowing that they serve amazing food, recommend matching wine far beyond the regular stuff. The menu holds all time classic Italian dishes plus a wide selection of daily / seasonal dishes. All is made freshly to order and served beautifully decorated. Wine recommendations match also challenging food combinations. Reservations are highly recommended!

We were recommended this place by our Airbnb host. So we booked, and a warning: cash only. From the moment we arrived, the staff were offhand, verging on rude, impatient and shouting. We ordered the pasta, and would have ordered dessert if anyone could have been bothered to take our order. We just gave up and left. The food was good, portions generous, but too salty. It seemed to us the waiters are too busy rushing around to take the time to be pleasant. They welcome their regulars but new faces can just go hang. Also, the specials are given verbally, so you don't get the price, and were, in this case, more than expected. Thoroughly miserable experience I wouldn't want to inflict on anyone.

Wenn Sie sehr gutes Essen mit schlechtem Service und Ambiente wollen empfehle ich dieses Lokal ausdrücklich. Wir kamen zu viert ohne Reservierung. Nachdem wir sarkastisch vom Kellner (der körperlich kleinste dort) gefragt wurden, wo er noch weitere Sitzplätze hernehmen soll konnten wir auf meine Nachfrage ohne Probleme drinnen sitzen. Während draußen alle Tische belegt waren war innen alles leer und nach meinem Besuch verstehe ich auch warum. Kellner schreien sich von der Küche bis zur Eingangstür an, bzw. haben lautstarke Diskussionen. Das frisch gewaschene Besteck wird so laut in ein Behältnis eingeräumt, dass wir nicht mehr miteinander sprechen konnten. Bestellte Getränke kamen teilweise nicht an (2x Limonade bestellt die zweite kam erst auf Nachfrage und 15 min später als die erste. Ein Wein der empfohlen und bestellt wurde kam nicht an und auf Nachfrage wurde gesagt das der Wein gar nicht vorrätig ist) Aber hey, das Essen ist wirklich gut. Ich würde Takout bzw. vorher genug trinken und auf jeden Fall draußen sitzen empfehlen. Das war mein erster Besuch hier daher ist das Review nur anekdotisch, jedoch werde ich nicht mehr herkommen.

Unscheinbares, kleines Restaurant am hochpreisigen Viktoria-Luise-Platz versteckt an einer kleinen Ecke. Das italienisch sprachige Personal ist charmant, aufmerksam und zügig, das Essen ist hervorragend. Und die Preise sind fair. Unbedingt reservieren, ist immer voll, selbst auf der Terrasse bei 14 Grad und Regen.

Wir waren zu viert zum Essen hier. Die Reservierung hat gut funktioniert. Die Qualität des Essens war sehr gut, der Service freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Weinempfehlung war sehr gut, wir haben den Abend sehr genossen.

Sehr gute italienische Küche. Wenn man Pech hat, sitzt man irgendwo, wo die Kellner und Gäste ständig vorbei gehen. Da kommt keine Gemütlichkeit auf. Wer gut essen möchte und sich von ständigen Störungen noch stören lässt, der ist hier richtig.
