Restaurant Cafe "Pane Vino" in Berlin

The day before my wife's birthday, I booked a nice table with a window seat. Instead, we got the worst table in the restaurant, tucked away in the far corner next to the restrooms and cloakroom. My wife and I were very disappointed. My attempt to change this on the spot was unsuccessful. They should have mentioned during the reservation that no good tables were available. Then we would have chosen a different restaurant. As it was, the evening was a negative experience. Even the good food and the apology from the server couldn't make up for it. The atmosphere was ruined.

We've eaten there quite a few times, as my mom loves it. It looks inviting, is on the pricier side, and has a slightly more upscale decor. I don't find the food itself outstanding, just average. However, I don't like the service; I've noticed this on several occasions. I miss the warmth and the feeling of being welcome. One particular situation prompted me to write this review, and it perfectly illustrates the lack of service, in my opinion. My sister ordered tea. The waiter said the machine was broken and therefore they couldn't offer it. We asked several times because we couldn't understand why it would be difficult to steep a tea bag, even without a machine. Only when I went to the counter, where the manager overheard the problem, was it resolved. The negative atmosphere afterward was palpable. I won't be taking my family there again. There are much cheaper and more welcoming restaurants out there.

Pane Vino is a place to feel good. It starts with the ambiance and extends to the food, the service, and the overall atmosphere. You simply feel at home, can enjoy your meal, and have a truly good time. They offer everything from pizza to squid—everything your heart desires. All of the highest quality. We love coming back to Pane Vino and letting them pamper us. Unfortunately, you can only give 5 stars.

Delicious menus in a lovely setting. Whether outside in the summer or in the pleasantly furnished dining room, it's always a pleasant experience. The service is unobtrusive but attentive, and the takeaway pizzas are ready in a reasonable time and just as delicious.

You can sit outside in the summer. All the service staff are prompt, courteous, and in a good mood! I definitely recommend it!

Here you'll find mediocre cuisine at upscale prices. The Friedrichshagen clientele seems to like it. If you don't belong to this clientele, you can skip the trip without worrying, in my opinion. PS: The fact that bottles (water, wine) are brought to your table already opened is, at best, an indication of less-than-good service, and at worst, a sign of...

Friendly and fast service. The food arrived incredibly quickly and was very tasty. The portions could have been a bit larger. Unfortunately, the seats in the back occasionally experience a small whiff of the restroom smell.

I hate giving only one star, but this one really has to be. Bad-tempered waiters who couldn't remember our drink orders. No product information on the menu, no indication of which wine or prosecco was actually in the glass. As we all know, there's no accounting for food, but there is for quality. Bottom line: friends invited us to an "upscale Italian restaurant." We'd say it's more like the fairy tale of "the king's new clothes."

The food is perfect. The portions are a little too small for me. The service is so-so. The prices are reasonable. Regulars are given priority, which doesn't seem fair to other guests.

Great food and a bit of a calmer atmosphere than other restaurants in the area. Excellent for family reunion. Noise level is so that you can actually talk to each other. We are coming here from time to time and always enjoy it. Good value

A nice Italian restaurant on the Friedrichshagen market square with seating outside and of course a larger indoor area. All the waiters were nice and accommodating. The Prosecco Hugo Sprizz was very good as was the farmer's salad. The olive oil and balsamic vinegar served with it were good. Bruschetta was a little over-seasoned but that's always in the eye of the beholder. The only thing that has a taste is the receipt with a subtotal....they probably don't end up correctly in the accounting...a rogue who thinks evil 😉

Highly recommended, best Italian in the area!

The food was delicious. We had Aglio Olio, which I found pleasantly spicy, and tagliatelle with pork fillet and tomato sauce instead of cream. The pork fillet was pulled so small that we couldn't recognize it as a fillet. The bread was cleared away while another person was eating. And what was missing was warmth and the feeling of being “welcome”. The service wasn't rude, but very cautious.

Nice coffee house style with a very good selection of cakes and tarts, ice cold drinks, waffles and crepes. Everything looked really great and tasted very good (waffle with hot cherries, crepe with fruit). Great conclusion after a round over Friedrichshagens Bölsche and at Müggelsee. But here only cash payment.

Pane Vino is a first class restaurant with very good food and wine. The service is very friendly, courteous and attentive. It's worth a visit at any time.

We were there last Monday with friends from Greece. The waiter was very condescending and unfriendly. The waiter who brought the drinks was very friendly and nice. The four different pizzas had little taste. I know that a schnapps is offered at the end. We weren't asked and a schnapps was served at the next table.

We have been here a few times to spend a nice evening. Same today. We think the service, the ambience and of course the food are outstanding. The staff is very attentive and stylish. The food matches the extremely well-kept ambience. We feel very comfortable here. Even with several people on the occasion of my birthday, the food was hot and beautifully prepared. The service was perfect. Everyone praised the evening. Thank you for that!!!!

Very friendly and courteous service, unfortunately we were repeatedly overlooked. The food was very good, starting with the tomato soup. The gnoggies were also a treat, the pizza with mozzarella still needs to be refined, the dessert with figs, on the other hand, was an unusually light and very good rounding off for Italian dishes. All in all, highly recommended.

It's a very great restaurant. This atmosphere and the staff are really very nice and friendly. You feel very comfortable and can enjoy it to the fullest. We'll definitely be back.

Very nice Italian restaurant on a busy street. We sat outside and received solid food from extremely attentive service. The wine was good, the sun was shining and apparently there were some locals present who were served grappa from gigantic bottles. We'd love to come back!

The portion sizes of the pasta are simply outrageous. I ordered a salad with lamb fillet and tagliatelle with truffle bacon sauce to take away. The nice thing is when you open the boxes at home and realize that there is no truffle and the lamb fillet is not lamb at all. In my opinion this is cheating, then you should tell the guest that you don't have any truffles at the moment. Do you think we don't notice that? Only for the taggliatine over 20 €😡, without truffles.

A very good Italian restaurant - at a high level. It's nice to sit outside, especially on days and times when traffic isn't that heavy. Good cuisine, good service.

This restaurant was able to beat the competition in the Bölsche with its chic ambience and delicious food. The toilet was clean and neatly designed. It proves itself again and again: look at the Clo first - that's how the kitchen tastes! The only criticism, the waiter was a bit needy with the German language. But otherwise a recommendable restaurant!

My wife and I were in the restaurant in the evening. The attentive and friendly reception is very pleasant, the table is set with a cloth and cloth napkin, the table exudes a pleasant intimacy. Therefore, our expectations of the food were rather high. We were seriously disappointed. I had a risotto with chanterelles, my wife tagliatelle. Unfortunately, both were pretty tasteless; my chanterelles were not recognizable as such on the palate. The risotto was too oily and shortly afterwards I felt bilious belching as a sure sign of inferior products. My wife's tagliatelle was swimming in a boring cream sauce, cheap and without fresh herbs in the month of June (!). The white bread to go with it was also tasteless. The kitchen doesn't seem to be properly staffed. We probably won't visit the restaurant again, even if the rest of the restaurants on the Bölsche have just as little to offer in terms of quality. A tragedy!

This is my favorite Italian restaurant. It is a great place for celebrations - anniversary, birthday, date night… The staff makes the experience very special. The food is amazing, I love their pastas. Also good for sharing a quick pizza.

What happened? I just had dinner here. A young man served me. Everything is good up to this point. From the menu I chose the spaghetti with tomato sauce. With the request to enrich it with cream. I also ordered a non-alcoholic Hefeweizen. According to the menu, the spaghetti costs less than 10.00. The non-alcoholic Hefeweizen around 05.00 The dish was tasty when I went to the cash register to pay to the same young man - he said that I had to pay 26.00. Does a shot of cream cost 10.00? I do not recommend this restaurant and have never experienced anything like it before. First and last time.

The starter plate was uncluttered and not as imaginative as one might have expected. The pasta was good and solid. The service was polite but a bit cold. Still a good meal, with a good glass of wine. Thank you

Very good wines, the staff is attentive, but the quality of the food doesn't match the prices. BUT NOT AT ALL! I would like to emphasize that if the quality is good, I almost don't care what it costs. It's not that you couldn't eat it, but for €36 I expect something different. For this money you can get excellent main courses in top restaurants. There is no pizzazz here, the combinations are unfortunate, and there was also wilted rocket. Price performance is simply not good. What always amazes me is how little the masses are satisfied with. Many people probably don't even know what to expect for this price structure. Not recommended in our opinion.

Based on the pictures and reviews, I was really looking forward to this meal, but that didn't even last a minute because it was problematic to change the reserved table due to the entrance being right next to it. The restaurant seemed overloaded and rather cramped, which of course meant that it quickly became very loud. The neighboring table was so loud that it was difficult to communicate clearly at the table. The buffalo mozzarella as a starter was just ok, nothing special, but if I don't offer anything special, the price should perhaps be reconsidered. I was really looking forward to the veal chops, but apart from 2x3cm layers of fat (top and bottom) on each chop there was hardly any meat to be found, so unfortunately this price is no longer worth it. It tasted like old mutton, and the red wine sauce couldn't fix it. I can get over the fact that a drink we ordered was forgotten because after that we just ran away. Desserts therefore fell flat. The ambience was quite comfortable so far, but the service staff and the kitchen were in no way able to transfer this to the guest, let alone bring it to the plate.

Good food in a pleasant atmosphere. Not exactly cheap. The rose was a little too cool.

We celebrated a big birthday with 15 people at “Pane Vino”. All dishes, both starters and main courses, were delicious. The fish soup and the starter plate “Pane Vino” are particularly recommended. The service was attentive and very concerned about our well-being. Thank you very much for this gastronomic highlight!

Sehr gute Küche, aber bei vollen 'Betrieb' sitzt man etwas 'beengt'. Dann ist auch die Ablage für die Garderobe sehr schwierig.

Wir waren schon einmal hier und das war soo schön, aber als wir dieses Mal hier waren war der „Manager“ oder wie auch immer sehr unhöflich. Er hat uns rausgeschmissen weil wir angeblich zu laut waren. Dabei hatten wir eine angemessene Lautstärke. Andere Gäste waren bei weitem lauter. Und dieser Mann hat behauptet das es gar kein Italiener wäre?! Sehr fragwürdig der Mann. Wir sind sehr enttäuscht das wir rausgeschmissen worden sind, ohne Grund tatsächlich! An sich war das Essen und die Getränke lecker und die Kellner sehr freundlich aber dieser „Manager“ war unter aller Sau!! Nie wieder wenn der Herr da ist! Ansonsten wieder sehr gerne!

Hier ist jeden Abend gute Stimmung. Das Personal kümmert sich mit viel Aufmerksamkeit um Ihre Gäste. Das Essen wirklich super von der Pizza die schön dünn und knusprig ist bis zum Filetsteak welches auf den Punkt Perfekt gegrillt wird und mit einer Klasse Rotweinsoße serviert wird. Seit langem mal wieder ein sehr gutes italienisches Restaurant gefunden, sehr sehr empfehlenswert wir kommen aufjedenfall wieder!!!

Das Essen ist grundsätzlich gut, aber bei der Vorspeise ünerzeugt der Preis so gar nicht. Auf einem kleinen Teller, kam für drei Leute, drei Mal Scheiben Carpaccio, eine Artischocke, ein kleiner Shrimpssalat und drei Scheiben Zucchini mit Tomate und einer Zwiebel für 42 Euro. Finde ich schon etwas happig für den übersichtlichen Teller. Meine Frau wollte anstatt Schafskäse etwas (ein Hauch von) Trüffel über die Nudeln. Kartenpreis mit Schafskäse 16Euro. Preis ohne Schafskäse, aber dafür Trüffel 23 Euro. Sonst war alles i.O.

Kann ich vom Service nicht empfehlen, mehrere Kellner, aber keiner brachte die Speisekarte, bin nach längerem Warten zur Trattoria Tresoli in der Bölsche, hier waren Service und Essen erstklassig

Das Essen und das Ambiente waren vom Feinsten der Wein auch es war einfach schön den Geburtstag unsrer Mutter dort zu feiern das Personal war sehr nett und hatt sogar die 3 kleinen Kinder gut versorgt beizeiten mit Essen ruhiggestellt 😁 und wir in aller Ruhe erstmal die leckeren Antipasti genießen konnten so arbeiten Profis und danach das Essen war vom Feinsten es war ein sehr schöner Abend macht weiter so

Der Service und das Essen sind sehr gut. Hatten eine Vorspeisenplatte die sehr lecker geschmeckt hat. Auch die Salamipizza war perfekt. Die Nudeln mit Scampi sind auch zu empfehlen. Als Nachspeise Pannakotta war hervorragend.

Sehr nettes Lokal mit Topp Kellner sehr zuvorkommend. Das Essen war sehr lecker und völlig ausreichend. Ich freu mich schon aufs nächste mal.

Schlechtester Service den ich je hatte. War mit meiner 2 jährigen Tochter und Mutter essen. Die kleine hat sich echt gut benommen und der Kellner kam trotzdem zu uns, um sich über ihre Lautstärke zu beschweren. Extrem kinderfeindlich und unfreundlich. Habe sowas noch nie erlebt. Pizza war auch nicht gut - kann man in einer so schlechten Atmosphäre aber auch nicht genießen. Worst service I have ever had. Went with my 2 year old and mum. The little one behaved really well but the waiter still fell the need to come over and tell us all of for her being too loud and disturbing the guests who come here to relax. Pizza was below average quality as well. Will never be back.

Wieder mal eine schöne Zeit verbracht. Ich hatte für meinen Sohn zum Geburtstag ein spezielles Dessert bestellt. Es war echt toll ,super angerichtet und sogar mit Wunderkerze. Ein weiterer Geheimtipp mit ruhigen Ambiente, dank der fehlenden Bekanntheit und der Ruhigen Musik. Dazu sehr sympathisches Personal, welches sehr humorvoll aber auch vornehm mit höflichen Tischmanieren. Leider ist das Essen vergleichsweise Teuer und auch ziehmlich klein… dennoch sehr lecker, da viel hausgemacht ist (zB die Nudeln). Dennoch ist eine Vorspeise empfehlenswert durch die kleine Portion Größe. Abschließend lässt sich sagen das es ein sehr unbekanntes Restaurant ist, welches man nur weiterempfehlen kann.

The service didn't greet us particularly friendly. The gnocchi from the menu of the day was great, but we also ordered saltimbocca alla romana, which usually has potatoes and vegetables on the side. We wanted noodles and got the dish only with noodles without vegetables but we paid an extra charge for that. When we spoke to the waiter he became rude. Never again.

Das Essen ist immer super. Großes Lob an die Küche. Allerdings hat der Service und sein Personal in den letzten Jahren echt sehr gelitten. Freundlichkeit und 'der Kunde ist König' ist hier ein Fremdwort. Entweder ist man Stammgast und Word herzlichst begrüßt und bewirtschaftet oder man gehört zum Pöbel und wird dementsprechend behandelt. Sehr schade. 😔

This restaurant has been around for 23 years now and has not disappointed me. With a quiet and charming atmosphere it's a perfect spot for a romantic evening. Besides the deliziosa cucina they have a great selection of grappa as well as fantastic espresso. Molto bene!

Ein gutes Restaurant mit schmackhaften italienischen Spezialitäten. Unsere Gerichte waren alle sehr lecker. Täglich gibt es zusätzliche Gerichte und Wünsche außerhalb der Speisekarte werden, sofern möglich, auch gern erfüllt. Man wird sehr aufmerksam und freundlich bedient. Hier kann man durchaus Stammgast werden.

Essen sehr lecker, allerdings die Nudelportion etwas klein. Weiße Tischdecken und Stoffservietten und Kerzen auf dem Tisch...machen schon eine Wohlfühlatmosphäre.

Ambiente ist schön. Parkplatzsituation schwierig. Aufmerksame Kellner. Das Essen war ok, aber mehr auch nicht. Preis marktüblich.

Wir waren am 28.12 im Restaurant essen. Wir aßen beide Rinderfilets. Diese waren auf den Punkt gegart. Dazu gab es, für uns, perfekt gegartes Gemüse. Die Soßen waren auch exzellent. Der Service war auch sehr zuvorkommend. Wir gehen definitiv wieder dort essen. Top Adresse.

Wir hatten Glück und haben am 2. Weihnachtstag noch einen Tisch ergattert. Super, leckeres Essen und tolles Ambiente. Der Service war richtig klasse, sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Das hat uns sehr, sehr gut gefallen. Gerne würden wir mehr Sterne vergeben.

Ich habe für mich dort innerlich mit meiner Freundin mit Abstand den besten Italiener gefunden. Zuerst war es etwas unheimlich, dieses gehobene Ambiente, doch am Ende hatte ich es mit meiner Freundin ziemlich genossen. Feines Personal und leckere Lebensmittel von hoher Qualität, hier fühlt man sich wie zu Hause bei einer italienischen Mama und Oma. Die Pizza war so wow, ich musste fast weinen, ich hatte noch nie so eine gute Pizza gegessen. Hier wird Italien gelebt. ❤ Ich bin dankbar und stolz für dieses wunderschöne Restaurant. ❤ Hier kann ich und werde ich nun öfters mit meiner Freundin stolz speisen gehen. 🥰

Ich bin echt verliebt in das Essen. Ein sehr schönes Restaurant, sehr gemütlich. Mit dem Service war ich ein wenig verwirrt, da mehrere Kellner bei uns waren. Leider wurde mein Nachtisch auch jemand anderen gegeben und ich musste nochmal länger warten. Ich kommer sehr gern wieder.
