Very tasty food and very friendly, attentive owner + staff

The food was quite good. But also way too expensive for what you get. The price is very unjustified.

Service can be a bit slow on weekends but definitely the best pornstar martini! 💕

The food here is amazing. Dishes are bursting with flavor. It’s a well-edited menu of small plates that ranges from traditional favorites like carbonara and eggplant Parmesan to newer flavors (for me) like thinly sliced veal in tuna sauce - served with freshly baked bread. They were very busy on a Saturday night but food service was prompt and staff was friendly and attentive. I only had wine but others around the room were enjoying beautifully made cocktails.

The food tasted ok. But the portion was so small that we were still hungry. And they are priced as full meals even though the portions are in tapas size. I was charged 23 euros for one plate of tapas and a glass of wine basically. There are better options definitely.

After being told in two previous restaurants that the kitchen was already closed, my girlfriend and I stumbled into Kushmann's with our hope of finding a place to eat already diminishing. At Kunsmann's the kitchen was also close but the manager and chef (who were right at the entrance were having a smoke) were very nice, they offered to make us an AntiPasti plate and we accepted graciously. The plate was delicious and the staff was really nice. The atmosphere was lovely and had a great vibe. The place looks great and we were grateful to them for giving us the chance to have dinner even though it was late. Much appreciated💯✨🙏🏼 it was a very good finding.

Unfortunately was told there were. o cocktails being served. table next to us had Martinis Prosecco was flat Service was slow. Bruschetta excellent portions are good. Tartar was nicely seasoned pasta tasty but nothing special. Beef was overcooked i asked for it rare. It took too long to consider sending it back fair price

Unfortunately no. Couldn't convince with the food and service. Update after the operator's comment: Insults are the arguments of those who have no arguments. Out of respect for people with psychiatric illnesses: Borderline is a serious psychiatric illness that is also known as emotionally unstable personality disorder of the borderline type. Around 3 percent of the population suffers from borderline personality disorder. The first signs usually appear in adolescence. More than 60% of those affected have made at least one suicide attempt.

Unfortunately, we didn't know that the ownership of this restaurant had recently changed and we were disappointed by overpriced food and poor service. Even though the change of ownership was probably more than two months ago, the same card from the previous owner is still on the website. In addition, almost all dishes on the menu in the restaurant were sold out. The quality and quantity of the food is not recommended at these overpriced prices. When we ordered a bottle of red wine and realized that it was much too warm, we were offered ice cream. Without words! It's a shame that the new owner calls this serious review funny and doesn't take the criticism seriously. If you offer a bottle of red wine for over €40, you can also expect it to be stored in a designated place. And the only thing that can be added to the food on the menu is that the waitress on site declared them to be starters. It's true that these don't cost more than €12, but we were offered main courses that weren't on the menu and that verifiably cost €16 (invoice available).

The food is so well. Not really great. But quite expensive. A bottle of Primitivo must not be brought to the table warm, even on a very warm summer evening, an absolute no-go. The waiter's question as to whether we wanted ice cubes for the wine really says it all. This also applies to the topic “Talk to us”. Thanks, but thanks no! Addendum to the owner: Apart from the fact that I don't know what is wrong with the word "Ice CUBES" (for red wine that is too warm at a price of 46 EUR!) - the way you deal with criticism is a shame. That doesn't help anyone. Neither a potential guest nor you... Congratulations on identifying us as a group, it's not that complicated. However, none of the three of us were unobjective or even offensive. There were also no discussions or arguments in the restaurant. It is your right to have a different perspective on things. Instead of giving objective answers, you assume “borderline” and write about complicated guests. At least the former is borderline offensive, and tends to be a slap in the face for people who suffer from mental illnesses Unfortunately, you missed the opportunity to deal constructively with the criticism. This is anything but professional. A pity!

From the first French to the Italian that we loved, this restaurant is now a typical Berlin drink shop where you can't really eat anymore. The menu feels trippy and the food is sublime. It wasn't enjoyable. The best thing was the wine. Absolutely not recommended. A pity. We want the old Italian restaurant back to what it used to be.

I was here again after half a year. It's incredibly delicious. A must in Berlin! Best food as fusion cuisine from Italy and Asia and indescribable cocktails.

For us the best shop in Berlin. The restaurant is currently undergoing a bit of change; both the interior and the menu have been modernized, which we really liked. The ambience is great, good music, cool lighting. The food also more than impressed us. The dishes are a mix of Asian and Italian cuisine. At the beginning there was a delicious and well-prepared greeting from the kitchen, as well as a Prosecco on the house. But above all the tuna is recommended. Perfectly fried and a taste experience. At the end we had two cocktails created by the owner himself. Also a culinary delight. You should definitely pay a visit to Neon X Kushmanns when you come to Berlin.

We keep coming back each time we are in Berlin! Great place for eating but also just to enjoy good wine or beer with fernet. Friendly stuff and cozy interior will make you happy there.

Unfortunately not satisfied. We waited a VERY long time for the food (almost 2 hours). The portions are sometimes ridiculously small, especially pasta dishes. There's no way you'll get full here. Service is nice.

Very tasty food and extremely friendly and courteous staff.

We were greeted really warmly upon arrival and the service was impeccable. The restaurant has a pleasant date night atmosphere - a good mix of elegance and bistro without the chi-chi. In the upper area you can also marvel at the owner's (?) collection of Adidas sneakers, which gives the whole thing a personal touch. The wine list is great - I had a Gavi di Gavi which was really round in the finish! In general, the food was also solid: we had the mixed starter platter and a pasta dish each. Unfortunately, there is only one star deduction for my carbonara (which luckily was cooked with pancetta + egg yolk and not with cream), because the pasta was completely cooked and not al dente. Maybe I was just unlucky, but we would still like to come back - but then more to try the other wines.

Unfortunately, what happened to so many restaurants in Berlin happened to Kushmann's: at the beginning you really try hard, the kitchen does an extraordinary job, the landlord and his service staff go the extra mile and then - when things are going well - you lose your footing Accelerated. At least that was my impression the last time I was here. In the past there was always a greeting from the kitchen "on the house", but on our last visits there was nothing of that sort. But - and even more serious - it no longer tastes as good as it used to. The house pasta "Kushmann's" with beef was completely devoid of seasoning sophistication and really only contained a microscopic amount of meat. Friends, remember your virtues from before, especially in the kitchen, things have to change for the better (or has your excellent chef moved on?). Then we'd love to come by again!

I’d walked past Kushmann’s several times and it always looked like a wonderful atmosphere. In that regard it didn’t disappoint, however the food was a lowlight. Our antipasti has okay but the mains were either overpowering with a single element (goat cheese ravioli) or bland (steamed vegetables with the basic piece of salmon). I feel as though the chef must have changed recently as the dishes posted here look tastier than what we experienced. Other than that the waitstaff are great and I’d genuinely want to like the place. I’ll try again in a few months and hopefully the menu/chef gets some help.

We had our Christmas party at Kushmann's and it was an incredibly good evening... Super beautifully decorated shop and an absolute feel-good atmosphere. The food for everyone was perfect...there were never empty glasses on the table. The service was extremely well organized and very attentive. Price performance is absolutely top.

Delicious food and good cocktails. In summer you sit comfortably on the sidewalk, during the cold season on two levels in the large room of the old building.

Nach einer herzlichen Begrüßung wurden wir plaziert und konnten zunächst einmal das wunderschöne Restaurant bewundern. Anschließend hat der nette Kellner mit dem Hut die Bestellung aufgenommen und der aufmerksame Service wurde dann noch vom Essen übertrumpft. Das war wirklich lecker..... Mehr kann man nicht erwarten. Das wird mein Stammitaliener im Kiez. Vielen Dank ich komme bald wieder......

The place is amazing and the service remains exceptional. However, since the change in chefs, I've noticed that the food has become somewhat more average, which has made me reconsider returning in the future.

Last time I was super disappointed from food, service is nice, I love the place and atmosphere, but they have to change chef Took carbonara and some pasta with shrimps I mean for the bill 80-100€ for a dinner, it doesn’t worth it :(

The atmosphere is great. Food is okay. Thye tried to charge us for something we didn't order and we had to keep sending the bill back. ...that wasn't a great experience.

Fortrinlig mad og vin, og venligt personale. Betjeningen kunne dog være mere professionel. Tjeneren kunne ikke forklare retterne på menukortet, ligesom hun ikke kunne sige noget om vinene/anbefale en vin. Hun var dog smilende og venlig og spurgte en kollega til råds. Vinen blev ikke åbnet ved bordet, og vi blevvikke tilbudt at smage. Der blev skænket et stort glas til os begge med det samme. Restauranten er hyggelig, men der blev spillet meget høj musik, så det var svært at tale sammen under middagen.

In einer schnelllebigen Stadt wie Berlin kommt man hier wunderbar zur Ruhe - und fühlt sich geschätzt. Erstes Date? Romantisches Rendezvous für eine Diamantenhochzeit? Wir waren an einem Tag unter der Woche im Kushmanns zu Gast. Das Ambiente ist urig, modern, chaotisch aber irgendwie sehr gemütlich! Wir bekamen nachdem wir gefragt hatten, einen schönen Platz direkt am offenen Fenster. Service war sehr freundlich, die Getränke kamen schnell. Als Vorspeise bestellten wir den Antipasti-Teller für 2. Auch dieser wurde in angemessener Zeit serviert. Für einen Antipasti-Teller fehlte mir ein wenig eingelegtes / gebratenes Gemüse. Der Hauptgang sollte es einmal die Carbonara und für mich das Havelländer Apfelschwein von der Wochenkarte sein. Leider mussten wir nach der Vorspeise fast eine Stunde auf das Essen warten. Mehrmals nachgefragt, vermute ich, wurden wir einfach vergessen… Der Service war allerdings auch mit 2 Leuten völlig unterbesetzt. Da hat man natürlich Verständnis aber eine Stunde ist einfach nicht akzeptabel und zu lang. Man hat sich zwar mehrmals entschuldigt, man hätte sich aber auf Grund dessen, dass der Chef vor Ort war, auch ein wenig Kompensation oder zumindest auf etwas eingeladen zu werden gewünscht. Die Hauptgerichte waren aber sehr lecker und gut abgeschmeckt. Auch die Portionen waren gut und mein Fleisch super zart gegart. Fazit: Das Ambiente ist wirklich schön und gemütlich - Die Qualität des Essens auch gut! Der Service, vor allem der männliche Mitarbeiter, war super nett, aber leider völlig unterbesetzt und die Wartezeit war viel zu lang.

Essen lecker, Bedienung unterirdisch (Entrecote war nicht mal mehr lauwarm, Bedienung hat die "Glocke" des Kochs wissentlich überhört). Als der Chef kam, wehte gleich ein anderer Wind, super Typ. Schade!

Nachtrag.. Ich war mal wieder da.... Yeah!! Es war wie erwartet ein schöner Abend mit leckerem Essen und einer Bomben Bewirtschaftung. Wie beschreibt man das? Hier passt einfach alles. Ambiente, Service und Preis. Das ganze Paket ist einfach unschlagbar. An jeden der das liest.... Probiert es aus! Beim ringen um die richtigen Worte würde ich hier wahrscheinlich ein Roman schreiben müssen. Die Herzlichkeit beim Service, der Geschmack vom Essen oder schon allein wie der Koch es anrichtet.. Boah, à la carte. Jedes Mal wenn ich an das Essen dort denken muss läuft mir das Wasser und ich bekomme Hunger. So wie jetzt gerade wieder. Probiert es einfach aus.
