Fancy a spontaneous latte macchiato and an Italian dessert on a sunny afternoon? At Piccolo Mondo, you can indulge yourself inside or outside. It's not cheap, but the quality of the food and the ambiance are top-notch. The waiters are very attentive. White tablecloths are laid out on the tables. You dab your mouth with starched cloth napkins. The decor is cozy and invites you to linger. In other words: "Noblesse Italiana"—keep it up!

For me, this is the best Italian restaurant in Berlin. It offers a varied menu that doesn't just offer the same old, same old dishes as many other Italian restaurants in the city. Picolo Mondo celebrates Italian cuisine and offers a balanced cross-section of Italian dishes. The quality has always been excellent, and the staff is very attentive and friendly. The ambiance is also very beautiful, enlivened by modern paintings and sculptures. The tables are spacious and not too close together. I always enjoy going there.

The food was delicious, but nothing exceptional. The service was okay. You immediately get the impression that there are a lot of regulars there. You're either part of it or you're not... The crowd reminded me of Sylt, which was quite amusing...

A classic great italian restaurant in a fantastic area of the city. Original kitchen. Professional and very kind staff the owner included. Atmosphere like in Italy on a Sunday afternoon. Must try the "Tagliatelle al tartufo" (Tagliatelle (Eierbandnudel) in aromatisierter Trüffel-Butter mit fein gehobeltem schwarzen Perigord-Trüffel und Parmesanhaube) Simply fantastic. Like every meal we've ever had here.

The food was very good and this restaurant is certainly one of the best in Berlin if you like Italian. However, in my opinion the prices are far above normal and this could be an argument not to eat there. However, the taste is at an above-average level for meat, pasta and even pizza. Unfortunately, the fish is not worth a euro at all, because there is no difference to other shops. Overall, you have to go there and form your own conclusions.

I ate there for the first time yesterday and had very high expectations. Food was good, but I've eaten better at another Italian restaurant. In addition, the portions were of different sizes, which felt unfair! Given the prices, I expect much more! The waiters tried very hard, but also swore a lot in Italian. I understood everything through a translation app and I find that absurd! Later the waitress also gossiped about certain guests. This sucks and is not appropriate! You also felt that the service was overwhelmed. The ambience was not good. We sat on the terrace and the windows were open the whole time. It was closed briefly, but was left open again a short time later. In addition, the background noise became extremely loud, which many people reacted badly to. The store was packed inside and out. Drink orders were forgotten and I no longer felt well. Conclusion: No matter how many VIPs have come to eat there, this was my first and last visit. Thank you for nothing, because you won't see me here again.

We really like this restaurant – always delicious and a festive atmosphere. We come regularly. Last time we just wanted to eat something quick. When we wanted to pay with the card (approx. 50 euros), the waiter was unfortunately annoyed and said that that wasn't enough for card payment. Comments like this are surprising in 2025 and unfortunately make the evening less pleasant.

Friendly and warm welcome even though I'm not a regular. We then got a table for two people, even though the restaurant was busy and we hadn't made a reservation. This is the TOP league of Italian restaurants in West Berlin. Food is the finest, I had the truffle pasta. Plus the right drinks and finally a grappa. Once again a successful evening. I'd love to come back. Everything just fits here. This restaurant is very suitable for special occasions...meetings with good friends who like and appreciate Italian cuisine. P.S. wonderful restaurant, excellent service, erm... downright mediocre food. in 2025 it is not possible to serve food of such poor quality... I ordered a pasta with fillet tips... it wasn't exactly professionally prepared, it was certainly not made by a chef but rather by an improvised dishwasher... the flavors reminded me of places like Bangladesh and Sri Lanka and certainly not Italy. The Samone al Prosecco (29.50 euros) was served in a cream cheese sauce without Prosecco!! ( Fraud!!). ... Compliments for the service but the food is not good and the high prices are not justified, in fact we can say we are dealing with a scam. I won't come back 👎

Mass processing, zero atmosphere, no courteous behavior from the staff... fish fillet had a lot of bones, no apology :-(, bill was wrong... was changed without any major apology... In both cases an espresso etc. on the house would have been appropriate... But here you are apparently only welcomed as a regular guest... It's better to go to smaller, more authentic and better quality Italian restaurants...

An established restaurant in Charlottenburg, Berlin. Even though we had a reservation, we had to wait about 30 minutes on a Friday evening. However, the service was extremely friendly and quick. The food was solid – not outstanding Italian cuisine, but probably one of the better offerings in Berlin. We can particularly recommend the tagliatelle with lobster. A little tip about truffle pasta: It tastes even more intense if it is prepared with more truffles and less Parmesan. The taste is a bit reminiscent of pasta carbonara.

I was there with my colleagues on the weekend. Very tasty food, we had a 3 course meal. The only criticism: the portions are too huge. There was a lot left over (luckily a colleague took the food with her and distributed it to those in need). After 3 different starters, serving a fish that weighs 500 grams is too much. A piece of fillet would have been sufficient. Because then came dessert 🍨 🙈 The staff is very accommodating, in a good mood, customer-oriented and friendly 👏definitely recommended 👍

I had a Christmas party with my colleagues and they were looking forward to a lovely evening. We were all served very unfriendly. The bread was snatched from under our noses, even though my colleague wanted to eat it to top up her sauce. It was very loud, very narrow and to top it off, even though we had booked the table and colleagues hadn't finished their drinks yet, they kicked us out on the grounds that they needed the tables. All colleagues were horrified and it is an outrage to treat your guests like that. This restaurant will never interest me again.
