Pascarella in Berlin

Very well attended on the weekend. For a romantic meal for two, it will probably be better on weekdays. Very suitable for large groups. Lots of space available. Food excellent. Beef, lamb and especially the octupus are recommended. All in one: you should try it out.

This place is tasty but a bit pricey. I really like it for the great pasta dishes and meats on the menu. The staff is friendly and attentive, making the dining experience enjoyable. The interior has a nice vibe, perfect for a casual meal with friends or family. Overall, it’s a solid spot to indulge in some delicious food!

It was my first time dining at Pascarella, and although I discovered the restaurant on OpenTable, it turned out to be the perfect choice. From the moment we arrived, the staff gave us a warm welcome, promptly inquiring about our reservation—which I highly recommend making. We were then guided to our table with a level of hospitality that immediately set the tone for the evening. The atmosphere is both cozy and inviting. Smiling faces from the staff, a semi-open kitchen where you can catch glimpses of the chefs at work, and beautifully curated lighting all contribute to an elegant yet relaxed ambiance. The restaurant is impeccably clean, further enhancing the experience. Service was exceptional—fast, attentive, and detailed. The staff truly goes above and beyond to ensure everything is perfect, which left a lasting impression on me. Now, the food—simply put, it was phenomenal. We started with the buffalo mozzarella, which was incredibly fresh and delicious. The main courses were just as impressive, with each dish perfectly seasoned and bursting with flavor. Every element on the plate complemented the others beautifully, making for a truly memorable meal. If you’re a fan of fresh pasta and vibrant salads, Pascarella is a must-visit. A well-deserved 5 stars!

Very nice service and great pizza.

This is my wife and my favourite restaurant in all of Berlin - I would even go so far as to say it's the best Italian food we've ever had outside of Italy. The food is amazing, and the service is absolutely top tier - ask for Hiko, we highly reccomend him. We come here for almost every big event - anniversary, birthday, or date night. This is one of the secret gems of Berlin that you might miss if you walk past it.

Very very nice service. First time there and the owner is a really accommodating and polite person. The pizza is good and really decent. The restaurant itself also has a nice ambience, only the location makes it 4 stars instead of 5. Gladly again

We had a wonderful afternoon/evening here. Last but not least, it was due to the very courteous and professional service. But the food was also very good, freshly and deliciously prepared, generous portion sizes. The wine list was also convincing. Overall, very fair price/performance ratio and can only be recommended.

Yes, finally a nice experience again. Tried lunch today. Very tasty and fresh. Lamb fillet with vegetables and pepper sauce plus salad. 16.50 EUR. Price performance exceeded. The service was very friendly and nice. The pizza is a healthy treat. Conclusion. Great thank you

This place was right beside where I stayed for a bit in Berlin so I had to give it a try. Ambiance is good, sidewalk seating is awesome. I was only here for Apero, an hour before the supposed rush for dinner. The service could improve a lot, as again, in classic Berlin-type service, I felt rushed and they removed my food before I even finished. Would give it a try again for dinner, perhaps the service is better. Would only be fair to really judge by not just staying for Apero.

This time the visit was rather disappointing. There were four of us, starters were delicious. Unfortunately the main course was mixed. Communication with the service was rather difficult as we had constantly changing staff at the table, some of whom seemed very untrained. A pity! That was different

Given the prices, I think the service is poor. Everyone is unfriendly, you don't smile, everyone just stands around, you never ask if you want to order anything else, dessert, wine or anything else. BUT you clear everything away without asking if you're finished yet. My plate was often taken away even though I was still eating. And of course you have to call for the bill yourself. Today one waitress addressed me as “you”, the other hardly spoke to me and ignored me. Food is good, but I'll never come back.

We went to a restaurant together for a birthday dinner. The atmosphere is cozy, although the tables are very close together and there is hardly any room to move around. Beforehand we shared a small appetizer platter for three people. This one had some vitello tonnato and cheese with pickled/grilled vegetables. Later on the bill they charged almost €50 for it. We were very surprised by this and feel the price is anything but justified. When we asked whether that could be true, they just shrugged their shoulders and told us that that was the price and that it was set that way by the boss. There's nothing you can do about that. All in all, it was really very disappointing because the price/performance ratio was completely wrong and we actually felt “ripped off” by it. It was a very unpleasant end to an otherwise lovely evening.

We were there yesterday for Valentine's Day, the atmosphere and service were really great, but somehow it was more appearance than reality. Unfortunately, I was quite disappointed with the meal; my Parmesan pasta was probably only tossed so briefly due to time constraints that it simply tasted like butter with a bit of truffle. I was really looking forward to it and then was a bit hesitant.

Service war praktisch nicht vorhanden. Es wurde weder gefragt ,ob wir noch was bestellen wollen, noch ob es geschmeckt hat. Wir saßen nach dem Essen über eine Stunde ohne jeglichen Servicekontakt Kein Dessert , kein Kaffee, kein Wein.. Als wir die Rechnung monierten, weil der falsche Wein aufgeführt war, kam der ruppige Hinweis " wir sollen doch 3 EUR abziehen, dann stimmt es!"

A fancy Italian restaurant for normal prices. The lunch menu (a salad with pasta or pizza) is 16 euros, which is really fair. I had pesto pasta and pizza, both were very tasty. The staff is one of the friendliest you could meet in Berlin. The place could use a bit more ventilation tho, it smells like food and cooking.

An sich super nette Bedienung, schöner Raum und kurzfristig Platz für viele Leute. Darum waren wir sehr dankbar. Preis-Leistung war eher unverhältnismäßig und Bedienung leider etwas vergesslich. Man kann einen schönen Abend hier haben, sollte aber nicht mit einer riesen Qualität rechnen. Ich habe die Weine nicht probiert, ggf gibt es in diesem Bereich noch etwas zu entdecken.😊

The ambience is really nice, very well-kept atmosphere, the service very attentive, not intrusive. There were four of us. The food for the three others came very quickly, was good and tasted great. My meal took a while, although I didn't have anything exceptional. I had to wait 15 minutes longer while the other 3 had already started eating so it wouldn't get cold. But the quality was good and I also enjoyed my food. Except for this delay in serving the food, we were very satisfied. However, the service should make sure that three people don't have to start eating while one guest still has to wait. Otherwise we can recommend this Italian. Very nice restaurant.

Nice restaurant, we always enjoy going and have always eaten well. If you pay with the Luca app, you even get a 10% discount! Staff very nice and attentive.

We looked forward to eat for new years celebration. We had a reservation at 22.00. It started out ok with champagne . The starters was really poor it didn’t taste good and the vegetables were cold. It was not 120 € worth. It wasn’t the busies time when we arrived. But the waiters was busy with cleaning and get the tables ready for the next after. They didn’t ask for any drinks for the desert. We asked for the bill and waited almost 10 min and they didn’t come, so we had to go to the cashier to pay. So it was not 270€ worth.

On Christmas, my wife and I dined at the restaurant. The food was enjoyable but the service needs improvement. It seemed that none of the service team members were actually Italian.

Unfortunately a mediocre experience. The restaurant was clean and cosy but the food was not value for money at all. It's 24/12 so I dont have problem to pay some more money but I also have some demands. So, first of all the service was very bad. Our table never prepared. We just sat on the table without nothing. 90€ for three plates and a sweet. A simple salad with tomatoes and onions costs almost 13€ . And finally, it's totally unacceptable paying an 35€ entrecote and not being askes of how you want it cooked. Rare? Medium rare? They never asked us. They throw as forks and knives, got our money and thats all. Sorry I don't propose it

Die Empfehlung Entenbrust war ziemlich mikrig also nicht zu empfehlen. Allerdings ist die Pizza Parma sehr gut und auf jedenfalls eine Empfehlung.

Trotz sehr kurzfristiger Buchung haben wir einen tollen Service und sehr leckeres Essen genießen dürfen. Vielen Dank!

I am Italian. I only tried the Spinach & Gorgonzola pizza: delicious, so tasty and perfect for a cheese lover. It reminded me of the pizza I had in Italy. It was so tasty I returned to Pascarella 3 times in 1 week just to eat it again. This pizza is a bit more expensive than in other nearby places, but overall it is worth it. I have to say Pascarella is now my go-to place for pizza. The first time I came they made me seat while I was waiting for the pizza, and I could hear the chef speaking in Italian. Then I found out that it is possible to order as take-away via Lieferando, which is quite convenient. The waiting time is also quite short & the staff is welcoming. I didn’t try anything else on the menu, so I don’t know how the other dishes taste. But I will recommend Pascarella to my friends & family whenever they visit me in Berlin.

The place was very good and clean. But the food was not value for the money we payed. Almost 11€ for a simple salad with tomatoes and onion. 33€ for an entrecote and they didn't even ask us about the level of cooking

Wunderschönes Ambiente, sehr freundliche, professionelle Mitarbeiter, guter Wein, tolles Essen, besonders das Lammfilet oder die schwarzen Nudeln mit Scampetti, auch die Pizza ist lecker. Zum Nachtisch ein Tiramisu mit gerösteten Nüssen, wunderbar! Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Ganz niedliches und authentisches Restaurant im Herzen von Charlottenburg. Wir waren jetzt mehrfach da. Das Essen ist wirklich gut (besonders zum empfehlen ist der Insalata Pascarella) und vorallem frisch zubereitet. Das besondere Highlight - man kann von einigen Plätzen in die Küche schauen. Eine Reservierung ist empfehlenswert aber absolut unkompliziert. Lediglich das Personal wirkt teilweise etwas lustlos, ist abet freundlich. Wir waren nicht das letzte Mal bei euch!

Wow!!! Das Essen, der Service, das Ambiente. Ich habe lange nicht so gut gegessen und werde in Zukunft definitiv öfter herkommen. Freue mich schon aufs nächste mal!

Some of the waitress are not friendly

Wir waren da mit 9 Freunde zum Abendessen, hatten vorher reserviert: Alles Perfekt: super nette Bedienung und sehr gutes Essen.

Wer eine authentische italienische Küche sucht, wird im Pascarella fündig. Unglaublich leckeres Essen aus einer eher gehobenen Küche. Sei es die Vorspeise (Platte oder Kartoffelsalat + Oliven), Nudeln (Penne Pascarella), der Kartoffelbrei mit Trüffel, Steak/Fisch, oder das Dessert (unglaublich leckeres Tiramisu). Ambiente ist total gemütlich und lädt zum verweilen ein. Wir besuchen das Pascarella schon seit Jahren und werden immer sehr herzlich dort empfangen. Liebe Grüße an euch.

Online Reservierungen scheinen irgendwie hintenan zustehen. Es war nicht so richtig reserviert. Heißt, es wurde ein Platz für uns gesucht. Zum Glück hat es noch einen recht guten gegeben. War schon recht gut besucht.

Booked a table at the last minute for marathon weekend when my other reservation was abruptly cancelled by the restaurant. Accidentally showed up to the Chausseestrasse location (they have two), where the maître d’ rudely informed me that I was at the wrong restaurant and that they had no availability for the night. Dined at the Schlüterstrasse location. Food was very good, service was poor. We were charged 4€ more for a daily special (a burrata and avocado salad). When we pointed out the discrepancy to our servers, they did not seem to understand (us? English?). A very sneaky move. Would not recommend unless every other place is booked on the eve of the Berlin Marathon (as was our case).

Food was well below average. All dishes were extremely salty. Prosciutto was just cheap fatty ham, melon was tasteless. Risotto was bland except for the overpowering salt.

Seit zwei Jahren sind wir immer mal wieder hier, um uns mit dem Gaumenschmaus des italienischen Koches verwöhnen zu lassen. Auch heute wieder wurden unsere extra Wünsche erfüllt. Der sehr zuvorkommende Angestellte hat uns immer mit „Knigge-Manier“ das Essen und die Getränke serviert. Stets wurde zwischen den Gängen dezent angefragt, zu wann der Hauptgang serviert werden soll. Vielen Dank und wir kommen immer wieder sehr gerne zum Essen, Trinken in angenehmer Umgebung vorbei!

Unterirdisch. Der Laden lebt von Stammkunden, die vor 10 Jahren mal guten Service erfahren haben. Heutzutage ist dieser nicht mehr zu finden. Kellner unmotiviert und unfreundlich. Bedienung quasi nicht vorhanden (Weinkarte wird nicht gereicht, nach der Bestellung wird sich nicht mehr nach dem Wohl erkundigt, Rechnung bestellen ein Ding von 40 min ohne Eigeninitiative). Vorspeisen überteuert und Minderwertige Qualität. Hauptgerichte im Mittel ok, aber Rinderfilet war 3x gebraten.. Ich kann es absolut nicht empfehlen. Aber macht euch selbst ein Bild und kommt zum gleichen Schluss 😄

Excellent Italian in a classic atmosphere at good value! Located just 2 blocks from the busier and higher priced Savigny Platz, this Italian restaurant is a great find. The menu is not enormous, but well stocked with authentic Italian dishes. It’s rare to find a Zabaione outside Italy, so even more surprising when this one was just perfect! All our dishes where excellent, freshly prepared, great quality ingredients, cooked just right and served hot! All at reasonable value. Even the wine! I can only recommend!

Amazing experience! The cheese wheel fettucine was the best pasta I've ever had in my life! It was incredible! Byram, our server, was so kind and attentive. We really enjoyed our visit.

Although the menu and food is mainly Italian, it's administered by non-Italian staff at all...so don't expect an Italian atmosphere. Food was good 4.4/5.

Both dishes were absolutely delicious!

Arrogante und herablassende Bedienung!! Wir hatten zu Viert einen Tisch für den 08.07 um 19 Uhr reserviert. Obwohl wir über 30 grad hatten und auch draußen mehrere Tische frei waren, bat man uns im Innenraum einen Tisch. Die Logik darin haben wir nicht verstanden. Werden die besseren Tische für die Stammgäste aufgehoben? Nach kurzer Zeit entschlossen wir uns, uns nach draußen umzusetzen. Der Kellner führte uns widerwillen hinaus. Bis hierhin alles ok. Als wir am Tisch saßen, sprachen wir den Kellner daraufhin an, das wir noch einen Moment warten möchten, da sich die 4. Person verspäten wird. Trotz diesem Hinweis kam der Kellner innerhalb von 15 Minuten 3 x um die Bestellung aufzunehmen. Also bestellten wir bereits die Getränke, damit wir nicht doof rumsitzen an einem der teuren Tische! Die Kommunikation lässt zu wünschen übrig. Statt mit „wie bitte“ wird mit „was“ geantwortet und Gläser werden fast schon auf den Tisch geschlagen, Getränke werden nicht eingeschenkt!!! Das war uns genug! Wir tranken aus, zahlten und verbrachten den Abend im Baba Angora. Da geht man gerne hin, man wird höflichst aufgenommen und die Kellner haben Spaß an ihrer Arbeit.

Man fühlt sich wie zu Hause und es ist alles perfekt! Küche absolut authentisch ohne überflüssiges . Absolute Empfehlung

Ein Restaurant mit italienischem Fler. Sowohl die Servicekräfte als auch das Ambiente sehr angenehm und nett. Das Essen war auch ganz gut. Hat uns alles im Großen und Ganzen gefallen. Die Parksituation ist etwas schwierig, aber es fahren immer mal wieder Autos raus. Ich denke man sollte im Durchschnitt mit 10 Minuten Parkplatzsuche rechnen.
