Pascarella in Berlin

Vor drei Jahren noch erste Adresse im Kiez hat das Restaurant ein wenig Charme und Qualität eingebüßt. Die TK- Convinience Tintenfischringe mal eben in die Friteuse geworfen und dann für 25,- serviert sind nicht das, was ich erwartet habe. Berlin ist groß, andere Restaurants können das besser, ich gehe auf die Suche...

Das leckerste entrecote gegessen! Tiramisu war weltklasse! Gern wieder!

Enttäuschende Erfahrung. Das Essen war, insbesondere angesichts der hohen Preise, eher mittelmäßig, aber der Service war noch schlechter. Als wir höflich anmerkten, dass der Wein etwas zu warm sei, reagierte der Kellner abweisend und blieb den ganzen Abend über mürrisch. Schickes Dekor und schön gedeckte Tische machen noch kein gutes Restaurant aus; exzellentes Essen und freundlicher, professioneller Service hingegen schon. Mein Rat: Konzentrieren Sie sich mehr auf Qualität und Kundenservice und weniger auf Streitereien mit Gästen.

Ich muss sagen, dass Ambiente war sehr schön, der Service war auch sehr gut. Nur hatte ich vorher scheinbar nicht richtig geguckt, weil die veganer Auswahl jetzt nicht besonders umfassend war. Ich hatte angenommen, das Penne Arrabbiata vegan sind. Leider bleiben sie es nicht, wobei Ei wohl ein Qualitätsmerkmal ist. Vielen Dank für den Abend

Typisches gehobenes italienisches Restaurant. Alles ist wirklich gut, aber nichts Besonderes.

Super nett hilfsbereit sehr sauber und sehr lecker.

Das Restaurant überzeugt vor allem durch seine hervorragende Küche. Die Speisen sind geschmacklich auf hohem Niveau und lassen kaum Wünsche offen. Auch der Service ist durchweg freundlich und aufmerksam, was den Besuch sehr angenehm macht. Die Preise liegen zwar im gehobenen Bereich, sind jedoch angesichts der Qualität der Speisen, des stilvollen Ambientes und des Gesamterlebnisses absolut gerechtfertigt.

Ich bestellte frittierte Baby-Calamari und erwartete, dass sie frittiert wären, wie es in italienischen Restaurants üblich ist. Stattdessen bekam ich jedoch in der Pfanne gebratene Calamari. Auf Nachfrage wurde mir ohne weitere Erklärung mitgeteilt, dass dies die übliche Zubereitungsart sei. Meine Bestellung kam sehr schnell, aber wir mussten dann etwa 20 Minuten auf das Lachsgericht meiner Freundin warten. In der Zwischenzeit wurde mein Essen kalt. Uns wurde gesagt, dass der Lachs noch auftauen müsse. In diesem Fall sollten die Gäste entweder bei der Bestellung darüber informiert werden oder beide Gerichte gleichzeitig serviert werden. Als der Lachs meiner Freundin endlich kam, sagte die Bedienung beiläufig und ziemlich unprofessionell: „Ihr Essen ist auch da.“ Wir waren von dieser informellen Art, mit Gästen umzugehen, recht überrascht. Als Getränke bestellten wir jeweils ein Glas Chardonnay, das auf der Karte mit 7 € ausgezeichnet war. Uns wurde dann mitgeteilt, dass der Wein nicht verfügbar sei, und stattdessen wurde uns ein Sauvignon Blanc empfohlen, der nicht auf der Karte stand. Wir nahmen das Angebot an, bemerkten den Preisunterschied aber erst beim Erhalt der Rechnung: 11 € pro Glas! Da der Wein nicht auf der Karte stand, hatten wir keine Möglichkeit, den Preis vorher zu prüfen. Insgesamt war es eine sehr enttäuschende Erfahrung.

Also … das sollte eine Minestrone zum Mitnehmen für 8,50 € sein, aber ich bekam gekochtes Wasser mit wahllos zusammengewürfeltem Gemüse, das nicht gar war (die Kartoffeln waren noch knackig). Kein Salz, keine Tomaten, keine Nudeln, keine Gewürze. Ich habe 15 Minuten gewartet, bis das Gemüse – das aussah, als wäre es erst vor Ort schnell zubereitet worden – gekocht war. Es war buchstäblich kein Öl drin. Ich habe es auf der Straße stehen lassen und meiner Tochter etwas anderes geholt. Es ist wirklich traurig, dass sie so etwas verkaufen und sich dann als italienisches Restaurant bezeichnen. Ich würde davon abraten, dort hinzugehen und dort Geld für Essen auszugeben.

Wir waren am Sonntag dort und leider sehr enttäuscht vom Verhalten eines Kellners. Während er unsere Bestellung aufgenommen hat (wir waren vier Frauen und ein Mann), erklärte er einem Kollegen, an welchen Tisch die Bier gebracht werden sollen. Auf die Rückfrage, welcher Tisch gemeint sei, antwortete er: „Die da drüben in blau, Titten“ – lachte anschließend und sagte nur noch „Sorry“. Diese Aussage war extrem unangemessen, respektlos und sexistisch – vor uns Gästen und vor allem gegenüber einer anderen Kundin. Wir haben uns in dem Moment sehr unwohl gefühlt und wären am liebsten direkt gegangen. Die Lage des Ladens ist zwar schön, aber es gibt genügend andere Orte dort, an denen man als Gast respektvoll behandelt wird. So ein Verhalten geht einfach gar nicht. Ich werde definitiv nicht wiederkommen.

Wir sind ein- bis zweimal im Monat hier essen und genießen die Küche sehr – das Essen ist wirklich hervorragend. Leider kann der Kaffee da nicht mithalten. Deshalb gehen wir nach dem Essen regelmäßig zu unserer Lieblingsrösterei an der Ecke Schlüterstraße/Goethestraße, Reeham Roasters um dort noch einen perfekten Espresso zu trinken und das gute Essen auch entsprechend abzurunden.

Ein super schönes italienisches Restaurant mit hervorragendem Essen. Draußen stehen die Tische größtenteils in der Sonne – perfekt für einen schönen Tag!

Bedienung zuvorkommend und freundlich. War das erste Mal da, hatte ein Glas Wein und Spaghetti Arrabbiata hätten etwas scharfer sein können, war alles gut und und schmackhaft. Auch der Wein (Lugana) war gut. Zum Abschluss einen richtigen und ordentlichen heißen starken italienischen Espresso. Auf jeden Fall empfehlenswert.

Wir waren als kleine Gesellschaft (10-15 Personen) dort. Die erste Runde Getränke und das Essen war schnell bestellt und serviert. Es hat sehr gut geschmeckt! Leider war der Service in der zweiten Hälfte unseres Aufenthalts nicht besonders aufmerksam. Einige hätten gerne eine zweite Runde Getränke bestellt. Beim Abräumen wurde auch nicht mehr nach Nachspeise und Kaffee gefragt. Auch hier hätte sich bei min. der Hälfte unserer Gruppe noch Interessenten gefunden. Sowohl während unseres Aufenthalts, also auch später war das Restaurant nur mäßig besetzt, so dass auch der Kundendurchsatz nicht ausschlaggebend sein kann. Insgesamt wurde Potential verschenkt.

Wer in Berlin Lust auf klassische italienische Küche mit mediterranem Touch hat, ist im Pascarella genau richtig. Das Restaurant vereint authentische italienische Aromen mit einer entspannten, einladenden Atmosphäre – perfekt für ein Abendessen mit Freunden, ein ungezwungenes Date oder ein gemütliches Essen nach einem Spaziergang durch Berlin-Mitte.

The decor is invitingly homey, spacious, with wooden surfaces, a tablecloth, and cloth napkins. It's only slightly heated, perhaps as aloof as the staff, especially when I pointed out a long hair under my saltimbocca: "I'll tell the kitchen." And nothing happened – certainly no second visit from us.

Wir waren zu Silvester dort. Sehr gemütlich, top Essen und extrem freundliches Personal. Preislich höher, aber das ist angemessen bei der Qualität.

The seating area was truly beautiful and pleasant, and most of the staff were very polite and friendly. However, the quality of the pizza was far below what I’d expect from a restaurant of this level and price range. We also ordered half a liter of house wine, which unfortunately didn’t taste good at all. If we had wanted to order a bottle instead, the prices started at around €50 — there were no more affordable options available. On top of that, I don’t expect to hear Turkish pop music playing from the speakers in a relatively upscale Italian restaurant. Overall, it’s a pity — the experience turned out to be quite disappointing.

I think the food is okay; it tasted quite good. However, I find the custom of adding a 15% tip to the bill when picking up food without asking the customer a little bit difficult to get used to. Just raise the prices by 15% and see how the customers react. Hence, only 3 stars.

The taste is really good, the service is attentive, and the menu is clear when it comes to food and drinks.

We were drawn in by the incredibly romantic ambiance. The service is okay, although some waiters speak more Italian than German, which can make them seem rather taciturn. 😅 The food is also okay. We've been there twice now, and both times I had the pleasure of dealing with a chef who was in love and had used too much salt. That's obviously complaining at a very high level, but you pay a lot for it. A little tip: This actually has nothing to do with a bar. You can drink wine here, but there are no cocktails, even though it says "bar" on the front.

A fancy shop with no quality and no order. A fancy shop with lifeless staff! The poor service has been repeated twice now. For the starter, we get potato salad, no olives, no balsamic oil, and the highlight: they served us rock-hard bread. The bread looked like they had given us the corners. • Consumer deception: The prices on the website are completely different from those in the restaurant. Example: Arrabbiata for €18. All Hasir restaurants have raised their prices disproportionately. • Service: No greeting, no recommendations, no conversation. Drinks are only served in bottles; you pour yourself. Plates are not cleared, no attention from the staff. • Allergens & Safety: When asked about allergens, the waiter simply gave a false statement. Only after I asked to check with the kitchen did it become clear that his information was incorrect. This can be life-threatening – and is obviously not taken seriously. • Overall impression: Not an authentic Italian restaurant, extremely poor service, pricing unclear and unreasonable. The website and reality don't match up. Absolutely not recommended.

We were here with a few friends on September 6, 2025. I knew the place. Everything was top-notch except for the service that evening. They can do things differently...

Good atmosphere, delicious food, and good service. We were there on a business trip and felt very comfortable.

I went for dinner with friends. The food was delicious. The wine was wonderful. The staff was very attentive. I would especially like to thank Mahmut and Ali for their attention and care. I recommend this elegant place to everyone.

The ambiance was nice; however, my carpaccio was still frozen, and the spaghetti aioli lacked flavor and care. I'd give it another try given the beautiful location, but the food would have to be good, too. Service was good, but the price/performance ratio was rather high for the quality.

I ate at Pascarella and it was absolutely delicious! Everything was perfect, from the starters to the main course, perfectly balanced and full of flavor. You can tell the quality of the work here. A huge compliment to Mahmut, one of the best employees I've ever encountered in a restaurant. Very friendly, attentive, and totally professional. Just a really good guy who loves his job, and it shows. I can really recommend this restaurant to anyone, whether for a cozy meal for two or with friends. I'll definitely be back!

Disappointed in the service and timeliness of the service and food.

The penne arrabbiata was mediocre, lacking in flavor. However, the vegetables in the appetizer were very tasty.

The restaurant atmosphere was good, beautiful location, and friendly team. I was a bit disappointed with the food: in the salmon pasta, there were very few pieces of salmon, and nothing else. Just some red sauce.

If you want to lose money... Go there. I paid 12 euros for a salad that didn't taste good. Paid 3.50 extra for pepperoni. So 2 pizzas and a salad cost 47 euros!!! No go!!

If you value good service, you should avoid this restaurant. The food was tasty - even if we had to put the hard noodles back in the kitchen - but overall the taste of the dishes was convincing. Unfortunately, when we reordered we had the impression that the waiters were rather annoyed. That was also the reason why we ultimately decided not to have dessert. The ambience is really nice. But if the service isn't right and you feel unwelcome, even the best food and the most beautiful ambience are of no use.

Well, there are better restaurants than this. Service not particularly special, guests' special requests forgotten.

Disaster. Not good service - rather unfriendly. Food was ok, except for the linguini made from cheese, which gave 5 out of 10 colleagues a stomach ache the next day. I tried 5 times to receive an invoice within 14 days. Germ chance. There was no reaction. I had to call 5 times before I received an incorrect bill. Never again....

Pretty good but the service can be improved. I felt every moment that people were in a rush to serve us, get the bill and put us out..

We were there on March 9th. as a guest. The food and service were average, so definitely not an experience. The hammer came with the bill. This included a tip of €5.49. I actually always tip between 10 and 20%, but I want to decide for myself. Thank God there are lots of restaurants in Berlin and we will definitely find a reputable replacement. The Pascarella is no longer an option after about 20 visits.

I received a strange table despite having a reservation. I found ambience so so. Service so so…

tbh the food was just ok wouldn't come back. We ordered salmon, which was relatively ok, but the side dishes were overcooked. We also ordered mashed potatoes with truffles, which was the tastiest thing here. I ordered the truffle pasta was a 4/10 the aftertaste was strange too alcoholic I wouldn't recommend it.

Very good restaurant, great food, perfect service, especially the truffle noodles are amazing and they also have really nice and great employees. Tayfun served us and he made our evening a little better with his great manner. So I can only recommend it ;)

It was a very good gastronomy place for Berlin. While the business was a famous Italian restaurant, now its owner and all employees are Turkish (they bought the famous Titanic Hotels). There is another branch onfa in Mitte. It's more luxurious and I think it has a Michelin star. Since this is the first place, it is a true Italian style and more authentic. The service is super. We were the only Turkish guests in the restaurant. All the other tables were German. I recommend it to everyone.

I made a booking on the app for the 1st January at 13.00pm The app allowed me to make a reservation and when we arrived at the restaurant the kitchen and restaurant employees where inside but the doors were locked. Extremely inconvenient to travel on New Years Day to a restaurant for lunch to find it is closed!!! Very disappointing and inconvenient

Unfortunately, despite the reservation, the agreements were not kept and our own process was decided. Then please communicate in advance! Unfortunately not suitable for a group. There is a lack of structure in the process. The food that was brought was tasty, but unfortunately I can't say anything about the side dishes, although I would have liked to try them or there weren't enough of them per person. No need to repeat.

I was pleasantly surprised. It looked very classy but had good tasting food and reasonable prices. Unfortunately, the pasta with truffles was wasted; if you don't wait long enough for the cheese to start melting, you'll actually just have spaghetti rolled in the pebbles, but no melted Parmesan in the food. Also, dear “Italians”?, please stay away from San Pellegrino, which has too much uranium in the test and there is German mineral water that hasn’t traveled as far but tastes just as delicious. The waiters were very pleasant and friendly. A Gintonic is not typical for a restaurant but if you have a bar then you should serve it in a long drink glass with cold ice that is frozen and not half liquid from the ice cube machine.

Wir hatten eine Empfehlung des Lokales von Freunden aufgrund der Trüffel Pasta. Diese sind hier wirklich vorzüglich – sehr empfehlenswert. Schöner, authentischer Italiener, nettes Personal, guter Service.

Wir hätten es für unseren Familienabend nach dem Konzert im nahen Schillertheater nicht besser antreffen können. Der Service war aufmerksam, flink und ausgesprochen charmant. Das Essen war lecker, typisch italienische und das Dessert noch einmal ein Höhepunkt. Danach gab's noch Limoncello auf's Haus. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

At prime time on Friday evenings you sometimes have to wait longer for pasta and salad. The linguine with pesto was extremely tasty, AL dente and fruity! The dressing on the small salad, which mind you is huge, is unfortunately German (why do you always get these stupid mustard sauces without asking, I don't get it?). The atmosphere and the audience are very Charlottenburg, you feel somehow out of place, like Alice through the looking glass, far too small and crooked, no matter whether you disappear behind the huge menus, sink into the padded benches or get lost in the babble of voices. Maybe it's nicer outside in the summer or maybe it's not prime time. The waiters were ok, but what can you expect with such stress!

Very well attended on the weekend. For a romantic meal for two, it will probably be better on weekdays. Very suitable for large groups. Lots of space available. Food excellent. Beef, lamb and especially the octupus are recommended. All in one: you should try it out.

The main problem we had was the waiter he was very ignorant and we didn’t feel welcomed at all as we were on a holiday from Ireland we were left without napkins we felt rushed too eat our food and get out of the restaurant absolutely dreadful time , killed our mood for our day, so for anyone travelling from a different country I would not recommend very rude towards English speaking people.

This is my wife and my favourite restaurant in all of Berlin - I would even go so far as to say it's the best Italian food we've ever had outside of Italy. The food is amazing, and the service is absolutely top tier - ask for Hiko, we highly reccomend him. We come here for almost every big event - anniversary, birthday, or date night. This is one of the secret gems of Berlin that you might miss if you walk past it.

We had a wonderful afternoon/evening here. Last but not least, it was due to the very courteous and professional service. But the food was also very good, freshly and deliciously prepared, generous portion sizes. The wine list was also convincing. Overall, very fair price/performance ratio and can only be recommended.
