Promise: Pizza Napoletana. What you got: A pizza that doesn't live up to this claim. 🤷 But it may be that the dough rests for 72 hours and the oven can theoretically reach 400 degrees. But: so what? Are these reasons enough that only superlative reviews are given here? Anyone who has ever eaten an original Neapolitan pizza should notice the difference immediately. Visually alone. No leopard print, completely burnt, not well formed. The whole thing continues in terms of taste and feel: for example, the lack of fluffiness. The edge is solid. Way too hard. So baked too long. Guess: too many pizzas, too low a temperature in the oven. Understandable. But still far from authentic. Don't get me wrong: the atmosphere in the tennis hall is interesting (although very loud!), service is okay (forgot the burratta on the pizza...) and the pizza tastes quite good. But she's just not very good. Or to put it another way: there is still room for improvement! For everyone who has given five stars here, I recommend a visit to NaPizza in Nuremberg or Fürth. Not ideal either, but in a completely different league.

It is nice place with calm atmosphere, tasty food, Italian music, nice decorations. People are friendly there and our order was cooked fast.

Small but oh-ho hits the spot Rustic style, service very nice and the chef friendly! Finally, it should be mentioned that you get your money's worth. 3-course menu was ultra delicious. I'll definitely be back!

La Piazetta is an Italian restaurant in downtown Bayreuth Food: In addition to pizzas, there is also a large selection of pastas, salads, soups and starters. The ravioli with truffle as well as bruschetta and antipasti were excellent, and the portion size was also fair. The drinks menu is extensive. Service: Fast, courteous service. Extremely professional, we felt very comfortable. Ambience: Cozy, rather rustic atmosphere. The tables are far apart, which makes it easy to have conversations

The ambience is very pleasant and it is nice to celebrate the meal in a certain unhurried calm. Side note: I love steaks and the steaks at Bürgerreuth are of great quality and always cooked to perfection.

Excellent little fine Italian. Cozy, romantic. Great cuisine and service, very friendly and attentive. Just right for those who like good food. Dishes from the daily menu are highly recommended. Good wine recommendations. In summer you can enjoy the beautiful roof terrace and the beautiful garden. We've been coming back for years.

Portofino is a small, long-established restaurant with excellent Italian cuisine. Pizza, pasta, steaks and salad simply taste delicious there.

The noodles tasted very tasty. However, the portion size was unfortunately too small and was more of an appetizer. Pizzas, on the other hand, are huge. Unfortunately, the price-performance ratio for the pasta dish is not right.
