Outstanding Neapolitan style pizza. Best pizza in Upper Franconia.

Unfortunately too much toppings and oil on the pizza. So everything in the middle of the pizza was soggy and no longer great to eat. Off center the pizza was good. Sometimes less is more.

Wir waren wie immer begeistert. Die Tageskarte bietet jedesmal neue abwechslungsreiche Gerichte die man kaum bei anderen Italienern (in Bayreuth) findet. Aber auch die normale Karte ist super. Wir lieben den lauwarmen Oktopussalat!! Der Service war wie immer zuvorkommend und das Preis-/Leustungsverhältnis ist absolut angemessen. Wir kommen bald wieder Barbara und Berndt

Beautiful pizzeria, great food and very friendly service, again at any time

Unfortunately a disappointing evening. The starter was a disgrace...Crostatini...four small slices of white bread with toppings, for 16.80. The fillet steaks tasted very “flat” and lukewarm. They didn't do justice to the price. The side dish...rosemary potatoes...were just warmed up. Definitely not a place to eat steaks.

The lasagna was lukewarm I think it was probably warmed up. The Aglio Olio was not spicy at all, nor did the dish see any salt. So the rude condition added to the annoyance. Far too expensive for the cost of the goods. Conclusion: not again.

Friendly service, good food, pleasant atmosphere

We had a wonderful evening with delicious food, top service and a pleasant atmosphere. Small menu, which I prefer, but fresh products of the best quality! I would wear a thicker sweater next time, it was actually a bit chilly, but that was beside the point for me!

Portofino is a small, long-established restaurant with excellent Italian cuisine. Pizza, pasta, steaks and salad simply taste delicious there.

Excellent cuisine, it really tastes great here. The one star deduction is because I find it very annoying when a waitress tries to force a small salad or a cafe etc. on me... The subliminal "want to sell" may perhaps be part of the business model, but it ensures that that the good food and the nice young employees fade into the background for a moment. I still like to come back again and again...
