Der Wunsch vegan zu essen wurde professionell und unkompliziert umgesetzt. Es war frisch, sehr lecker und der Garten ist sehr hübsch. Danke. 🌱💜

Zu einem gemeinsamen Abendessen mit dem Partner, Mittags zu einem Geschäftsessen oder während der Weihnachtszeit zur Weihnachtsfeier, ich gehe immer wieder gerne in die Bürgerreuth zum Essen. Wirklich gutes Essen, tolles Lokal und (meist) freundliche Bedingungen runden jeden Besuch ab. Komme bald wieder!

Essen war sehr lecker, guter Service, Qualität gut, Preise passen auch. Schöner Außenbereich samt Spielplatz und einer Wiese zum toben für die Kiddies, kläre Empfehlung!

Wir waren vor kurzem zu zweit Abends essen. Es ist ein Wohlfühlrestaurant mit superleckeren Gerichten, nettes Personal und gemütliches Ambiente. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder

Wir waren mittlerweile zweimal hier – einmal auf einem Date und einmal mit der Familie – und beide Male sehr zufrieden. Das Essen war durchweg sehr gut. Besonders hervorzuheben ist der hausgemachte, gegrillte Ochsenbraten, der wirklich hervorragend war. Auch die Pizza hat geschmacklich überzeugt; lediglich der Boden hätte für unseren Geschmack noch 1–2 Minuten länger im Ofen bleiben können, da er etwas weich war. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall gerne wieder, vor allem um im Sommer den schönen Biergarten zu genießen. P.S.: Der Nachtisch war ebenfalls sehr lecker.

Ein schöner Ort, auch zu einer Jahreszeit, in den man die Terrasse nicht nutzen kann. Wir waren nur zum Essen dort und es hat sich gelohnt. Das Lokal ist sehr einladend gestaltet und vermittelt eine gemütliche und gepflegte Atmosphäre.

Ich liebe dieses Restaurant und komme schon seit Jahren immer wieder sehr gerne hierher. Für mich gehört es zu den besten Adressen in Bayreuth. Die Atmosphäre ist wunderschön und sehr gemütlich. Man fühlt sich sofort wohl und willkommen. Das Essen ist einfach hervorragend. Die Küche ist durchgehend auf einem sehr hohen Niveau und jedes Gericht ist mit viel Liebe zubereitet. Alles schmeckt frisch, hochwertig und perfekt abgestimmt. Man merkt sofort, dass hier mit großer Leidenschaft gekocht wird. Auch der Service ist immer freundlich, aufmerksam und professionell. Das Team sorgt dafür, dass man sich rundum gut betreut fühlt und den Besuch wirklich genießen kann. Die Lage ist ebenfalls sehr schön und macht das Gesamterlebnis perfekt. Ich komme seit Jahren immer wieder gerne hierher und wurde noch nie enttäuscht. Eine absolute Empfehlung für alle, die sehr gutes Essen und eine besondere Atmosphäre schätzen. Ich freue mich schon auf meinen nächsten Besuch. 🍽️✨

Wir haben unseren Valentinstag dort genossen. Wir hatten die Meeresfrüchte als Vorspeise und jeweils auch ein Hauptgang jeweils mit Meeresfrüchten. Die haben uns auch am besten gefallen und waren sehr gut zubereitet.

The visit was a huge disappointment. The service was terrible—no smiles, inattentive, and a children's menu was only available upon request. We wanted to leave as quickly as possible. Unfortunately, the food was also disappointing. Never again!

If you want to eat something delicious in the evening, you should steer clear of this restaurant.

The menu is fantastic, offering something for every taste and appetite, and the highly qualified and incredibly friendly staff perfectly complemented the expertly cooked dishes. The restaurant is comfortably furnished. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The prices are reasonable. There are also vegetarian options. You will definitely leave satisfied! You can take a walk in the Judenwiese (Jewish Meadow). There is plenty of parking available.

I can only review the restaurant. It was great.

Long wait, rustic service. Mediocre quality for a steakhouse. The meat comes shrink-wrapped, with a corresponding aftertaste and condensation. The steak is grilled to perfection. Beer only from the bottle, red wine slightly flat. The atmosphere is quite pleasant.

I used to really enjoy Bürgerreuth. The beer garden is really nice and shady, perfect for hot days. The food is a bit expensive, but you know that beforehand. The service has deteriorated, though. At 35-degree weather, other restaurants ask you if your dog needs water, but not here. (I was actually quite glad about that, looking at the photo.) And they didn't ask you if everything was okay or if you needed anything else until afterward. Hmm, a bit of a shame. P.S. The restaurant was practically empty.

The food was delicious, the garden was wonderful to sit in, and it was the perfect way to end the day after visiting the Bayreuth Wagner Festival (just a few steps away).

Always a delight. The "Bürgerreuth" restaurant is as much a part of my visit as my visit to the Wagner Festival. The staff is always friendly, never rushed, and the food is consistently perfect – grilled dishes with roasted aromas that you couldn't wish for better. A pleasant ambiance where you can't help but feel at home – especially in the cozy outdoor dining area. Wagnerians and artists are always happy to be guests here during the festival season.

A beautiful, quiet location on the hillside behind the Festspielhaus. We always receive good and prompt service, and the staff is prepared to promptly serve festival guests who are short on time. I recently had an excellent carpaccio for €20. Even when there are lots of guests, it remains airy and not too noisy.

Super close to the Festspielhaus, fair prices, fast service, and excellent pizza! The terrace is also a dream under ancient plane trees.

The food was excellent and truly worth the price. The service was very attentive and had excellent manners and a good sense of humor. All in all, the stay and dinner at the restaurant were truly wonderful.

Three of us, plus our child, dined at the restaurant. The ambiance is lovely, the child loved the playground, Mauricio and his team looked after us very well, and the food was excellent. What more could you want?! I highly recommend it.

Honestly, whoever is served first is lucky because the waiting time is similar to waiting for a divine response. I waited more than 2 hours to be served and a colleague even got a tick! Really deplorable!

Here, the service isn't slow, it's absent. We came for dinner, but ended up fasting. Invisible waiters and imaginary dishes. We tasted the wait, and it was bitter. We left; you never came.

Service of an almost biblical slowness, 1 day to create each meal and a day of rest before disappearing and never intervening again.

If you enjoy long evenings, you'll be served... or maybe never. We arrived full of enthusiasm and left full of frustration... more than two hours of waiting for a bland meal. Between each course, 30 minutes of interstellar emptiness... we had time to digest... our dissatisfaction. Service was absent. And/or bad, the choice is yours. An experience as indigestible as the food.

We were at the Bürgerreuth for my sister's wedding. The restaurant is really great, with great food and prompt service. And the proximity to the Festspielhaus is probably really good when the festival is on. The rooms are, well, dated. They're practical, and if you're just sleeping there, they're fine for one night. The biggest problem with the rooms is that they're very thin, and you can hear everything that's being said or happening in the other guests' rooms next door. The breakfast was okay, nothing special or particularly good, just a basic breakfast.

Whenever we head to Bayreuth, we look forward to delicious homemade Italian cuisine. Whether it's an appetizer, main course, or dessert. Always delicious, prepared with love, and served with humor and joy ❤️

Great location, ideal for a stop after a bike ride. The location is stunning, with its summer garden and the view from the festival hill simply breathtaking! I ordered a Tagliata alla rucola for lunch and I was very satisfied. The quality and cooking of the raw material exceeded my expectations. Highly recommended 👍

My wife and I visit this restaurant every time we visit Bayreuth. Fresh ingredients, excellent food preparation, a selection of truly excellent wines, and friendly service characterize this restaurant, which we find exemplary. The high prices are always well worth the price.

Went there again after 15 years. The furnishings were the same as back then, now very dated, the service friendly. It calls itself a "steakhouse," but in the days of Blockhouse and the like, you expect a flawless dish. The waiter agrees on a specific gram weight for the steak when ordering, which is good. I ordered a medium fillet steak (220g) with a side of vegetables. It was a lukewarm piece of meat on a cold plate, much too rare for medium, with a thick tendon, definitely "not" fillet. It also came with a dollop of unsightly ayvar. None! Herb butter. The side dish consisted of four or five small pieces of rosemary potatoes, questionably warmed in the microwave shortly beforehand, along with a few beans and three pieces of carrot. The price was €40.70. For the starter, we ordered crostatini. It came with four thin slices of baguette with cheese and ham. Quite tasty, but definitely too expensive at €16.80. The price-performance ratio is not right at all. My husband had the salmon fillet with the same side dish, along with a 1/4 liter of Frascati. We also had a cappuccino, a Tartuffo and an almond parfait, and two Aperol-like long drinks. The price of €135 for two people is therefore unjustified. We can't recommend it to steak lovers. Since we were with friends who had requested to spend the evening there, we didn't want to discuss our displeasure with the service. Had we been alone, we would definitely have complained about the steak.

We had the Valentine's Day menu with rump steak. The meat was cooked to perfection and super tasty! Reception and service very warm. It was a perfect evening for us and we felt very comfortable. We can't comment on the rooms since we didn't stay overnight.

Unfortunately a disappointing evening. The starter was a disgrace...Crostatini...four small slices of white bread with toppings, for 16.80. The fillet steaks tasted very “flat” and lukewarm. They didn't do justice to the price. The side dish...rosemary potatoes...were just warmed up. Definitely not a place to eat steaks.

Ladies and Gentlemen First of all, I would like to thank all the restaurant staff and praise the friendly and professional service. Unfortunately, the New Year's Eve menu (€120 per person) did not meet the expectations I had based on the price and description. Many of the dishes appeared rather simple and lacked any particular sophistication. In addition, the portions were significantly smaller than I would have expected for this price. Overall, I find the price-performance ratio to be inadequate. Best regards Lehmann

The Bürgerreuth restaurant combines very good Italian cuisine in an upscale atmosphere with attentive service. Here you can spend time with business partners as well as privately or with the family. We experienced a perfect process, especially at celebrations such as our baptism or confirmation. I would like to recommend Bürgerreuth to others.
