The pizzas are very large and go over the edge of the plate, which meant that due to the limited space with 6 people at the table, the oil on the pizza dripped onto the pants and left ugly stains behind! The service was super friendly and fast! The atmosphere is nice but very, very loud, so that normal conversation is hardly possible!

The outstanding service team alone is worth a visit, plus there is a relaxed atmosphere and incredibly good food! We recently had dinner here, 7 people, which is certainly not easy for any waiter. (Please excuse me if the job title is incorrect, this is of course not meant to be disrespectful) I take my hat off to the young man who served us. Incredibly friendly, picked up on some of our jokes and was really on the ball. This made our evening even better! I don't have to say much about the excellent cuisine, the food is always great and the pizzas are huge and easily enough for two people. Later, two of us stayed for a beer while the others in our group went back to the hotel. We ordered our beer, went for a quick smoke and before we were finished the friendly waiter was standing in the door with a smile and our two glasses and asked us if we would like to have it straight away or if he could put it at the table for us . At first I was completely surprised by the question; no one had ever been so accommodating. He also said we could stay outside if we wanted, it wouldn't be a problem. And so we stayed outside, enjoyed our beer and watched what was going on in the restaurant for a while. What I could see was a perfectly coordinated team, friendly interactions between colleagues and a genuine smile at every table.

Favorite place at the moment: very tasty food, prices above average, very pleasant atmosphere, very friendly service and the best cappuccino in all of Bayreuth! Even after years we are still regular guests. What we also like: The friendly way the staff treat each other.

It took three attempts before the order was served correctly, but the food was delicious and I certainly don't have to say anything about the size of the pizzas.

We had dinner at L'Osteria Bayreuth, sat at the window, could watch the food being prepared and had the spaghetti Aglio e Olio twice and a mixed salad. The food was wonderful - the spaghetti was perfectly prepared and the salad was small but fresh. We would particularly like to highlight our waiter Dominik, who made our evening even more pleasant with his friendly and attentive manner. We would love to come back and can highly recommend the restaurant!

Strong pizza, pasta and salad, yummy.. I added more explanation because anyone visiting Germany must enter the restaurant. Thank you for the manager’s response to my comment, but this is the truth and for sure, before I return to Kuwait, I will visit you and eat your pizza.. I cannot explain what I tasted. Really wonderful Italian pizza in Germany. Burrata cheese salad is one of the most delicious salads and is considered the best in Germany.

L'Osteria's typical ambience invites you to enjoy very good food and relax. The food ranges from appetizers to salads and dessert of course to pasta dishes and oversized pizzas. The food is always an experience and really tasty. If you want, you can watch the preparation in the open kitchen, which can be clearly seen from the dining room. Children always get something to paint and the children's food is also great. I'm deducting a star this time because the service times were marginal and the overall price was a bit too high. In my opinion, the 25 year old beer is an imposition, but that's a matter of taste Otherwise I can definitely recommend L'Osteria.

One of the worst experiences of my life. Never again

As a long time L'Osteria customer, I was, this time, disappointed. First, we got a warm (if not hot) and decarbonized draught beer. When we complaint, the glass was taken back and instead of pouring new beer, the bartender just sip a little more to fill up the glass and put the glass in the fridge. Couple of minutes later the service just brought us the same glass. Absolutely no-go! Then our pizzas were too thin. I like thin and crispy, but this time the dough was hardly holding the ingredients. Just bad experience on August 31st 2024.

Always delicious pizza or pasta

I had dinner with my friend, it was very tasty and not expensive. We ordered the pizza with two different toppings, which cost around €15, which I personally find acceptable. You get good portions of food, you don't get too full or feel empty afterwards.

We like to go to L'Osteria Bayreuth. The staff is always attentive, friendly and has a smile for the guests. The prices are okay, the food is good and comes quickly. Personally, the volume of the music is always a bit too loud for us to have a pleasant conversation.

Unfortunately, this chain is now starting to only reserve tables for 90 minutes. A reservation for 120 minutes is cheeky, but throwing people out after 1 1/2 hours is bad for business.

A very nice pizzeria in Bayreuth. The staff was very friendly and in a good mood. Everyone ate wine pizza. It was really good and huge. Thin dough and ingredients very tasty. You couldn't eat the whole thing, but that's to be expected 😅 I took half the pizza with me. Really good value for money, I can recommend it.

Went there for dinner and drinks yesterday with my daughter and a few colleagues. Ordered pizza and spaghetti cabonara. Ordered pizza with salami and ham, but really could have had more toppings and cheese. Both actually tasted really good. But gladly again, can be recommended.

LOsteria has never been cheap, but now the prices have gone up by €2-3 in all categories, the pizza has apparently shrunk by 2-3 cm and "more expensive" ingredients such as chicken, salami, ham etc. have to be added slowly Find a magnifying glass. We were just here for lunch and I just want to echo all the previous comments. The service and friendliness of the employees is simply outstanding! Super attentive - even for children who are given something to paint straight away - despite stressful moments, the staff are so welcoming! And yes, of course the food was delicious too! :-) We would like to come again! 👌

My disabled child was not allowed to eat the food he had brought with him in the restaurant. Even after explaining that he only eats this dish due to his disability and that I would of course order something myself, only half-hearted, arrogant suggestions came. I have never experienced such ableist behavior in a restaurant and I am deeply disappointed. There are definitely more people- and child-friendly restaurants in Bayreuth. Thanks for the answer, which is unfortunately very incomplete. First things first: the first clear and clear answer was no. When I explained that my child cannot eat food on site due to his disability and intolerances, the answer was no. Then, in my perception, the managing director left offended, only to come back a moment later and explain to me that I should have clarified that beforehand. They could have told me online that this would be allowed in the restaurant in Bayreuth and in no other restaurant in Germany. Otherwise other guests would also like to have rice. The suggestion then came to serve the rice I had brought with me on my own plate, but only on the condition that I was there with a regular guest. This would not have been possible as a “normal” guest. Rowing back for reasons that are even less understandable to me than the strict ban throughout Germany. All the best for your shop in Bt. Service is nice and very attentive. The pizzas taste okay and there are also more exotic variations - unfortunately nothing more. Even if it's part of the philosophy: It's better to make smaller and therefore cheaper or higher quality pizzas. Most of it is just dry (cheap) dough - little toppings and not enough cheese. In other words: expensive ingredients are saved. What's more, I find it impossible that the pizzas protrude so far over the edge of the plate that they can't even be cut on it. The extra pad is of no use either. As already described in other reviews, the pasta dish came after the pizza. The pasta from the “monthly menu” was unfortunately disappointing: a simple tomato sauce with some rocket on top. The whole thing for just under €12. The Caesar salad tasted good but was expensive at just under €11 and also “only” made with cheaper hard cheese instead of real Parmesan. The selection of drinks is very good but also quite expensive (beer or juice spritzer 0.5l just under 5 €). Dessert is very tasty. The ambience appeals to me, even if it is very loud inside when the restaurant is full. It's also very nice outside - but you have to like sitting on the presentation plate. One more note: The worn and faded salt shakers that are brought to the table look unappetizing and should be replaced more often.

Great service and delicious food! Inclusion and participation are not only very important at L'Osteria in Bayreuth, they are also lived! The team is courteous, always helpful and friendly. The toilet is easily accessible for our wheelchair users via the specially installed stair lift and even when the restaurant is full we have ALWAYS found a comfortable spot! ABSOLUTELY recommended :)

This is the first restaurant in Bavaria where I have seen special facilities for disabled people. This is a chair that takes disabled people from the ground floor to the basement and back to the toilet.

A really great team that still lives and loves service with heart and soul. We had wonderful, fun hours that will remain in our memories forever as very, very positive. We'd love to come back. Food and drinks are made with love.

I have often ordered for delivery and today we were there for the first time. Despite the very busy restaurant, the waiters had everything under control very well. Our waiter Yazo, in particular, managed to accompany us through the evening in a playful way. We ate very well without having to wait long. Big praise for the kitchen and the service. In advance, A review is always a snapshot, just like a sample. We were at L'Osteria with seven people. The table reservation went well. The service staff was very friendly even though it was very hectic. It is very exciting to watch the pizza makers, the speed at which one pizza after the other is formed and topped. We also ordered pizza, the waiting times were probably longer than usual and one pizza was served differently than what we ordered. A new one was then prepared for us at a very rapid pace without any further discussions. To compensate, the restaurant manager gave us a round of lemonade on the house. About the pizza size, Of course it's a joke to order such a large pizza that two people can share with different toppings. With seven people at a table of 6, three pizzas almost fill the entire table, plus small plates for eating and drinks. This makes it very tight. On the subject of space, the restaurant room has very tight seating, which leads to a lot of noise. Due to the narrow paths of the walking area for the staff, you are regularly jostled when you sit on the walking paths. My conclusion: If you are curious and want to eat a huge pizza, you should do that. But first look at other guests' plates to see if you can manage the portion. For a cozy dinner in a quiet environment, I would personally choose another location. P.s. Service 3 stars because something went wrong for us, but the restaurant manager straightened it out.

Despite being crowded, the friendly staff at L'Osteria Bayreuth found us a table for four right away. Our drinks arrived within minutes, and the delicious pizzas followed shortly after. The service was fantastic – the waiters were attentive and professional.
