The pizzas are incredibly delicious and, above all, super-large. The goat cheese salad is also highly recommended.

Despite having a reservation, our table was unfortunately not available. There were five of us and we were offered another table, which was unfortunately too small for five people. So we had to wait about 15 minutes before we could sit down. The drinks and food orders went pretty quickly. The drinks arrived quickly. After we still hadn't received our food after 45 minutes, a member of staff came over and said, "You're next." After other guests who arrived after us got their food earlier, she came back and said, "I'll treat you to coffee later." An hour later, we got our pizzas. One of them was also incorrect. On top of that, meals ordered from outside kept running out. They did ask if a new one should be made, but since we had already waited a long time and didn't want to wait that long again, we ate the wrong pizza. After this incident, we were assured again that something was being done for us. After we had finished our food, we were offered dessert on the house. Since we were all very full, we politely declined. We said that as compensation, they should simply not charge us for the incorrect pizza. - Not possible. Then we wanted to pay and waited another 20 minutes until we were cashed. We were really disappointed.

You can spend a wonderful Italian evening here; nothing is left to be desired! The service is outstanding and deserves the highest praise. For me, the best pizza outside of Italy!

Order placed through Lieferando, still no delivery after more than two hours. Very poor service over the phone. Best regards to Christian and Kerstin, both managers at the store. Service is something else entirely. In protest, never again.

Super mega-delicious food, amazing homemade strawberry lemonade, and the service is beyond praise! We would absolutely recommend it and look forward to our next visit 🫶🏻

We had reserved a table for five people, including a four-year-old child and someone with a herniated disc. Despite having a reservation, we were left standing outside for half an hour without anyone even bothering to check on us, let alone apologizing. When we were finally allowed to go to our table, it was impossible to have a conversation without shouting, as the noise level in the restaurant was so high that any conversation without shouting was impossible. Unfortunately, the pizza was also very burnt, and ingredients had been forgotten, or the pizza was completely wrong. However, we didn't want to send it back, as it was already 8:30 and our little companions weren't in the mood any longer. That was probably our last visit.

Everything was perfect. Atmosphere, food, city, everything. I loved the place.

Hi L'Osteria Team Bayreuth, I've been to restaurants in several cities. We were there for lunch yesterday and everything was great 👌🏻! The ravioli were fantastic. What particularly impressed us was your service. It was definitely better than at other L'Osterias 🤩. The waitress who served us was attentive and very friendly. The atmosphere is also a bit smaller, making it feel more intimate 😊. The pizza, lasagna, and bruschetta were top quality. The pizza was huge and delicious, just like you'd expect 👍🏻. You'll definitely see us again 👋🏻!

The cuisine and service were very good. What I find shameful and really worrying is the laziness and arrogance of the supervisor (in the light blue top), who has 30 years of catering experience. It's a mystery to me how you can do so little work in the 1.5 hours that we were at your place when it was busy. Hats off to the colleagues who do a great job under such leadership.

Yes, the food is good and if you order pizza, the portion is more than generous. I had a tomato soup first, which was very tasty. For the Pizza Tonno I would have almost liked a warning that it would be so huge, then I would have left out the starter. But then sales would have suffered, so that was probably my problem. First of all: there is no way you can eat a pizza at the Osteria and still maintain your dignity. It protrudes about five cm beyond the edge of the plate. That's one thing, but what's really a shame is letting the pizza cool down until you've eaten it. If you can manage it at all. Apart from that, everything is very tasty and you get a pepper mill at your table without being asked, which sets this restaurant apart from most restaurants. The waitress is very friendly and obviously already knew me, as she called me by the first name from the start, even though I could easily have been her father. Finally, the prices were in the upper segment, but quite reasonable for the performance offered. So a clear recommendation.

Favorite place at the moment: very tasty food, prices above average, very pleasant atmosphere, very friendly service and the best cappuccino in all of Bayreuth! Even after years we are still regular guests. What we also like: The friendly way the staff treat each other.

We were eating there on a Saturday with 5 people. We were 3 minutes late due to traffic, and then we were asked very stupid questions about whether that was normal But we got a good alternative despite the unfriendliness Then we ordered and ate the food was okay and the ambience was nice. When we were finished it took forever until someone came who could cash in on us and the best thing was they have this table stand where you can pay directly and we did that for our part. The cashier was very overwhelmed with it but it was fine but when we wanted to leave we were approached by the lady and the man at the door and said they had canceled it and it won't be debited. We have to pay it again in cash until then everything is fine and today we look at the online banking and it was done anyway debited so we had to pay twice so please leave it In short, food good. Staff can be expanded

Very friendly staff. One of the waiter misunderstood our order and got something we didn’t order but he didn’t complain and took it back with a smile. Loved the food as it was so fresh ! The Gnocchi with shrimp was just amazing !!

It used to be good, but now the price is astronomically high and absolutely unjustified. There is less and less seafood on the seafood pizza. If you don't order any extra, you actually only get dough with cheese for 20 euros.

Knives were definitely sharp in their first life, cutting pizza was almost impossible. Pay, leave, never come back - sorry, that's Italian-style fast food, nothing more! Still shaking my head at the positive comments...!

We made reservations for a birthday party for 11 people on Saturday lunchtime and I don't think we were easy guests. Beer should be warmed up, pizzas ordered with special requests, baby dishes and chairs needed. We were really excited. All wishes were fulfilled immediately, all pizzas were delicious, the service was very attentive and super friendly despite the many extra requests. Thanks to the whole team! We'll be back!

The pizzas are huge with a diameter of 45cm. It really takes a long time for this. But very good price for the size.

We normally enjoy coming at L'Osteria restaurants but this was an exception - first of all the music was way too loud. When we asked for tap water we were told that they only had bottled water - after which the waiter brings a jug of water with 1 liter. When we received the bill we had been charged 19 Euro for water 1 liter of lukecold water !!!! Unfortunately we only discovered this after we had left. Of course we should have checked the bill before we left, but it should not have been necessary. It is very doubtful that we will come back to this particular L'Osteria restaurant.

A shop that deserves much more attention! There is probably by far the largest pizza in all of Bayreuth, it also tastes extremely good, although you have to hurry if you want to enjoy it warm as a whole 😂 The service and employees are also extremely friendly and respond to requests. Therefore very pleasant for date evenings, as well as for meeting friends for coffee. Well-deserved 5 stars is all I can give. I also think the reservation options via the Internet are great, it saves you the step of calling. Price-performance is also very good. Great, keep it up. 👍

Very courteous staff. Ordered a small beer, a large one was brought. The waiter apologized and showed me that a small charge would still be made. I ordered a pizza and was overwhelmed by how big and how tasty it was. I haven't eaten such excellent pizza in a long time. Everything here is harmonious and you feel very comfortable.

We received a very friendly welcome. The waitress at our table was always in a good mood and treated everyone in a friendly manner, especially my little daughter. The waiting time...you could almost say there was no waiting time. The starter platter was good for my taste, but the eggplant was partly cut too thick and therefore a bit raw, which I don't like. The mega pizza reminds me of Sardinia, where I ate the best pizza of my life. If you order for two, you automatically get the pizza on two plates. Spaghetti carbonara and lasagna were really well seasoned and particularly tasty. The decor is dark cozy... modern. I would go again

Just like in other restaurants in this chain: delicious and very friendly. You definitely get a seat at the table, but it's a bit tight 😉 We had a very tasty and inexpensive meal.

I was at L’Osteria Bayreuth last week with a group of friends and unfortunately the visit was anything but pleasant. We were all shocked by our waiter's behavior and would like to specifically complain. The waiter was extremely pushy and crossed our personal boundaries several times. He also appeared arrogant and switched to English randomly and without reason, which made the situation even more unpleasant. Despite repeated indications from us that we would like a more professional and distant approach, he completely ignored this request. He behaved particularly inappropriately when we wanted to add a starter shortly after ordering the main courses. Instead of simply taking this on board, he indulged in sexist comments and spoke of a “typical woman” who didn’t know what she wanted and was indecisive. This was not only disrespectful, but simply insulting. We are more than disappointed with this experience. Such behavior is unprofessional, inappropriate and completely out of place. It's a real shame that what was actually a lovely evening was ruined by this poor service.

The pizza tasted very good. I had a pizza with half Caesare e Pollo and half Degli Artisti. There were only 5 small pieces of chicken on the pizza. When I asked, the waitress told me that this was correct but that she would bring me more chicken for an additional charge. The pizza is pictured on the website and you can definitely see more chicken. That was really disappointing. On the large half just salad and sauce.

Monster-sized pizza is available here at an acceptable price. A bit sparing in terms of toppings. Always friendly and prompt service.

Excellent cuisine, it really tastes great here. The one star deduction is because I find it very annoying when a waitress tries to force a small salad or a cafe etc. on me... The subliminal "want to sell" may perhaps be part of the business model, but it ensures that that the good food and the nice young employees fade into the background for a moment. I still like to come back again and again...
