I had dinner with my friend, it was very tasty and not expensive. We ordered the pizza with two different toppings, which cost around €15, which I personally find acceptable. You get good portions of food, you don't get too full or feel empty afterwards.

One of the best restaurant experiences ever. Amon, the bartender, was super nice and kept me entertained throughout. Domi, the waiter, was also very helpful and friendly. Overall, great value for money, the pizza is bigger than the plate. Any time

We like to go to L'Osteria Bayreuth. The staff is always attentive, friendly and has a smile for the guests. The prices are okay, the food is good and comes quickly. Personally, the volume of the music is always a bit too loud for us to have a pleasant conversation.

A very nice pizzeria in Bayreuth. The staff was very friendly and in a good mood. Everyone ate wine pizza. It was really good and huge. Thin dough and ingredients very tasty. You couldn't eat the whole thing, but that's to be expected 😅 I took half the pizza with me. Really good value for money, I can recommend it.

Unfortunately, this chain is now starting to only reserve tables for 90 minutes. A reservation for 120 minutes is cheeky, but throwing people out after 1 1/2 hours is bad for business.

Went there for dinner and drinks yesterday with my daughter and a few colleagues. Ordered pizza and spaghetti cabonara. Ordered pizza with salami and ham, but really could have had more toppings and cheese. Both actually tasted really good. But gladly again, can be recommended.

LOsteria has never been cheap, but now the prices have gone up by €2-3 in all categories, the pizza has apparently shrunk by 2-3 cm and "more expensive" ingredients such as chicken, salami, ham etc. have to be added slowly Find a magnifying glass. Service good, ambience quite ok, value for money is now simply poor. Not recommended (anymore). Unfortunately.

We were just here for lunch and I just want to echo all the previous comments. The service and friendliness of the employees is simply outstanding! Super attentive - even for children who are given something to paint straight away - despite stressful moments, the staff are so welcoming! And yes, of course the food was delicious too! :-) We would like to come again! 👌

My disabled child was not allowed to eat the food he had brought with him in the restaurant. Even after explaining that he only eats this dish due to his disability and that I would of course order something myself, only half-hearted, arrogant suggestions came. I have never experienced such ableist behavior in a restaurant and I am deeply disappointed. There are definitely more people- and child-friendly restaurants in Bayreuth. When I explained that my child cannot eat food on site due to his disability and intolerances, the answer was no. Then, in my perception, the managing director left offended, only to come back a moment later and explain to me that I should have clarified that beforehand. They could have told me online that this would be allowed in the restaurant in Bayreuth and in no other restaurant in Germany. Otherwise other guests would also like to have rice. The suggestion then came to serve the rice I had brought with me on my own plate, but only on the condition that I was there with a regular guest. Service is nice and very attentive. The pizzas taste okay and there are also more exotic variations - unfortunately nothing more. Even if it's part of the philosophy: It's better to make smaller and therefore cheaper or higher quality pizzas. Most of it is just dry (cheap) dough - little toppings and not enough cheese. In other words: expensive ingredients are saved. What's more, I find it impossible that the pizzas protrude so far over the edge of the plate that they can't even be cut on it. The extra pad is of no use either. As already described in other reviews, the pasta dish came after the pizza. The pasta from the “monthly menu” was unfortunately disappointing: a simple tomato sauce with some rocket on top. The whole thing for just under €12. The Caesar salad tasted good but was expensive at just under €11 and also “only” made with cheaper hard cheese instead of real Parmesan. The selection of drinks is very good but also quite expensive (beer or juice spritzer 0.5l just under 5 €). Dessert is very tasty. The ambience appeals to me, even if it is very loud inside when the restaurant is full. It's also very nice outside - but you have to like sitting on the presentation plate. One more note: The worn and faded salt shakers that are brought to the table look unappetizing and should be replaced more often.

Favorite place at the moment: very tasty food, prices above average, very pleasant atmosphere, very friendly service and the best cappuccino in all of Bayreuth! Even after years we are still regular guests. What we also like: The friendly way the staff treat each other.

Great service and delicious food! Inclusion and participation are not only very important at L'Osteria in Bayreuth, they are also lived! The team is courteous, always helpful and friendly. The toilet is easily accessible for our wheelchair users via the specially installed stair lift and even when the restaurant is full we have ALWAYS found a comfortable spot! ABSOLUTELY recommended :)

This is the first restaurant in Bavaria where I have seen special facilities for disabled people. This is a chair that takes disabled people from the ground floor to the basement and back to the toilet.

A really great team that still lives and loves service with heart and soul. We had wonderful, fun hours that will remain in our memories forever as very, very positive. We'd love to come back. Food and drinks are made with love.

I have often ordered for delivery and today we were there for the first time. Despite the very busy restaurant, the waiters had everything under control very well. Our waiter Yazo, in particular, managed to accompany us through the evening in a playful way. We ate very well without having to wait long. Big praise for the kitchen and the service. In advance, A review is always a snapshot, just like a sample. We were at L'Osteria with seven people. The table reservation went well. The service staff was very friendly even though it was very hectic. It is very exciting to watch the pizza makers, the speed at which one pizza after the other is formed and topped. We also ordered pizza, the waiting times were probably longer than usual and one pizza was served differently than what we ordered. A new one was then prepared for us at a very rapid pace without any further discussions. To compensate, the restaurant manager gave us a round of lemonade on the house. About the pizza size, Of course it's a joke to order such a large pizza that two people can share with different toppings. With seven people at a table of 6, three pizzas almost fill the entire table, plus small plates for eating and drinks. This makes it very tight. On the subject of space, the restaurant room has very tight seating, which leads to a lot of noise. Due to the narrow paths of the walking area for the staff, you are regularly jostled when you sit on the walking paths. My conclusion: If you are curious and want to eat a huge pizza, you should do that. But first look at other guests' plates to see if you can manage the portion. For a cozy dinner in a quiet environment, I would personally choose another location. P.s. Service 3 stars because something went wrong for us, but the restaurant manager straightened it out.

Despite being crowded, the friendly staff at L'Osteria Bayreuth found us a table for four right away. Our drinks arrived within minutes, and the delicious pizzas followed shortly after. The service was fantastic – the waiters were attentive and professional. We were in Bayreuth for a short visit and were looking for an Italian restaurant for dinner. Luckily we ended up here. Super nice, courteous staff, we were able to sit outside under a beautiful olive tree and we were immediately given the daily menu and the normal menu. Of course we had to try the huge pizza that we had already seen at the neighboring tables. My husband and my son, who are both very critical, loved this pizza and it was an experience to have such a huge pizza in front of them. Since the dough is super thin, the two pizzas could easily be made by three people. It is also expressly offered that you can eat a pizza for two. A visit to the pizza maker in the store was a special experience for our son. We can only recommend this restaurant

Nice service, we got a table for 6 people without a reservation on a Saturday evening because of the nice and helpful service. Pizzas are huge and extremely tasty. It's a bit noisy, but that's how it is on a Saturday evening for dinner😉

Every time we are in Bayreuth we stop for dinner. But today they weren't as good as always. The pizzas will have to stay in the oven for a few more minutes. And the service used to be better. I am sorry.

Unfortunately, this was the "worst" L'Osteria we have ever been to. Don't get me wrong, the food was still ok, it just can't compete with the other restaurants in the chain. The pizza could have stayed in the oven a little longer, and unfortunately the cheese was used very sparingly. I don't know pizza like that! The rest (cleanliness, ambience, service) is typically good for L'Osteria. Nevertheless, we would probably choose a different restaurant in Bayreuth next time.

April 16, 2022: LˋOsteria in Berlin (next to the zoo) is one of our regular restaurants. So we thought we definitely had to go here in Bayreuth. No, we're not making a comparison. a) There is a lot of staff here in Bayreuth and everyone is more than attentive and extremely friendly without being intrusive. b) the salad Nice as a starter was tasty and fresh; delicious dressing. c) the pizzas - known for LˋOsteria - are huge; We took half of it with us: LECKER, the air-dried ham. We will spend a birthday there and rebook, thanks to the kindness of Tomaslav and Ashraf. Thanks also to the management, who provide a stair lift for the toilet for those with walking difficulties. It's a shame that Berfin is "emigrating" to Frankfurt or Düsseldorf. Düsseldorf, depending on where you go, is a well-mannered city, that's possible - Frankfurt, that's not possible. I won't say anything more about the food because it's always consistently good and cheap. “Cheap” - make it clear that two student friends share one of the huge pizzas, paying e.g. 15 euros for a pizza, so €7.50 each. Me and my friend got food poising. We order the cheapest pasta but that was the worst pasta I have ever eaten. Also waitress didn’t understand English and she gave us beer but we say that’s is for one bill.

The staff was extremely unfriendly, the pizza simply tasted like pape. I wasn't noticed by the wait staff (it wasn't busy), some of the staff were just standing around and on their cell phones. The restaurant is not recommended.

Unfortunately, I cannot agree with many of the reviews here, or only partially. The vegetarian pizza for just under €15 was large, but only sparsely topped. For example, I only counted 8 pieces of pepper on the entire pizza and the rest of the ingredients were simply too few. Because there was so little topping, the pizza only tasted like tomato sauce and was therefore completely soggy in the middle. The same with my companion... The service staff were super nice and you can sit outside when the weather is good. The toilets were very clean. Maybe we just had a bad day for the pizza maker yesterday, because according to the reviews with photos there seems to be more toppings on the pizzas ;-)

Since my review from yesterday was deleted, I'm writing it again. The pizza was too dry for me and there wasn't enough cheese on it. The artichokes and olives tasted like garbage. The pizza was simply a disappointment for that €16. The carbonara was at least OK, that's why it gets 2 stars... otherwise 1 By the way, the service wasn't that great either. The waiter was quite cheeky and seemed aloof because we "only" ordered tap water etc. Never again

Nach einigen Kilometern hat man dann doch ganz schön Hunger. So sind wir spontan bei euch gelandet. Und einmal ist keinmal. So sind wir heute wieder spontan :-) eingehrt. Das Essen ist ja bekannterweise in einer L'Osteria immer sehr reichhaltig und lecker. Bei euch kommt aber noch das supernette Team dazu. A place to be! The waitresses are always nice and polite, the atmosphere is very modern and the food is always fresh and tasty.

Wait times are terrible. Had a normal reservation and had to wait at the bar “as discussed on the phone”. After waiting an hour at the bar, we had to wait another 1:30 for the food. Unfortunately, we are very disappointed with L’osteria Bayreuth.

Toilets very clean, no smell of urine, very pleasant. Ambience only 3 stars because the tables were very small in relation to the ratio of chairs per table. So little space. Food from my side was ok but the topping for 5 euros extra was really very small pieces of chicken. When I thought of chicken breast strips, I was thinking of a little more meat on top, considering that you get a good 300g of organic chicken breast for 5 euros. On the seafood pizza there was only the bare essentials on it and the garlic oil or garlic oil didn't taste like garlic, only fragrances or a So I and many others missed the garlic taste. The restaurant is located in the city center within walking distance of the pedestrian zone in Bayreuth. We had pre-ordered a table for 12 people (work meeting/lunch break). The price level is quite high: Bitburgers on tap 4.75 euros - pizzas 12-19 euros. The pasta also costs 12-16 euros. But: The service was in a good mood and quick. The food came quickly in two parts (6 dishes each) and the pizzas tasted extremely good, both in terms of the dough and the ingredients/toppings!!! I have never received such a large pizza that extends far beyond the edge of the plate! Whatever is left can be packed up. Even though it was expensive, I would go back in a heartbeat, just not that often because of the prices, but the taste and service were just great! 🙂
