Ordered a Pizza Tonno without onions with garlic, got a Pizza Tonno with onions without garlic for almost €15. On the one hand, I was surprised at the price, but on the other hand, I get a high-quality pizza in a restaurant for a similar price or maybe pay 1/2 € more, which is justified for me because the dough and sauce are homemade, the atmosphere is right and high-quality toppings/cheese are used. But that is not the case here!
Grande, Grandissimo🤩
Excellent Sardinian cuisine, fine changing weekly dishes, everything fresh and no convenience food, fine wine selection and patron Mario is always there for a nice chat, cinque stelle 🙌🙌
Everything fine. Were here for the second time now. Relatively small, quiet restaurant with authentic, tasty food. All
Food was very tasty. Saltimbocca was a bit dry. Sure, they can do pasta. Pizza too. Grilled baby calamari and grilled fish fillet. Everything is great. Price/performance appropriate. Standard dishes very cheap Pizza Margarita 8.50, lasagna 10.50. There's nothing to complain about. Beer very tasty and visually very beautiful.
We'll definitely be back. Reservation is definitely recommended.
Our pizza was very tasty. The truffle pasta was also delicious, but the amount was very small, especially for one man.
The servers were all very disorganized. We had no cutlery, and no one even came to our table to ask if we wanted something to drink, so we had to go and get it ourselves. They charged €2 for plain white bread, which you get everywhere else. It's a shame...we won't be coming back.
We spontaneously stopped by for dinner one evening, and my expectations were exceeded. Another occasion was the wedding of two friends.
Both evenings and days were very pleasant.
We received courteous and warm service, and the food was very authentic and appealing. I have rarely had such good Italian food. They made a point of offering me gluten-free alternatives. It's reasonably priced, and I highly recommend this restaurant.
The restaurant has a cozy atmosphere, and the staff is service-oriented and polite and friendly.
If I can choose a restaurant in Solingen, it's my first choice.
Alles in allem mein neues Lieblingsrestaurant 💐
Hotel very well located, close to the airport, kindness and treatment from the owners excellent... ease in whatever we needed with us owners... a 10 and thank you very much for everything... from the Canary Islands, congratulations and a real pleasure to coincide in our adventure
"Do not expect the usual" - the website's motto is law - I have never received such unexpectedly unfriendly service. It may have been because my companion knew someone about whom the landlord/tenant had been upset for some time. I find it absurd that he even talked about it because it had nothing to do with me at all.
The food: I had saltimbocca but unfortunately it wasn't a culinary highlight. Instead of tender, fine veal schnitzels, there were tough, dry pieces of meat that were unfortunately also stringy. After I didn't eat everything, my feedback wasn't answered at all except with an annoyed look.
In the end I had the audacity to ask if I could have another espresso even though we had already ordered the bill. Quote: “Do you want to pay now or not?” Yes, I wanted to immediately.
So my “experience” was one that I definitely don’t want or will repeat.
Location: is in the Vaihingen pedestrian zone, there are places outside in summer. The interior of the restaurant itself is, as always, a matter of taste, but I found it to be a curious hodgepodge of banjos, mandolins and/or guitars and dark, heavy cabinets that look Asian. I didn't understand the style or the message behind it and was actually happy that I could sit outside.
Conclusion: The prices make it seem as if you were going to a fine Italian restaurant, but unfortunately neither the interior, service nor food meet this expectation.
The owner still cooks his own special dishes here, we have been coming here for many years and are never disappointed. Cozy atmosphere, fine food and the best host in town: Mario 🫶🏼
