A complete disaster – never again! A dining experience we've never had in any other restaurant as negative as this. First of all: We waited over 1.5 hours for our food. No information, no apology, no service whatsoever. During this endless time, we weren't even asked if we'd like another drink. Other guests who arrived after us received their appetizers and main courses much earlier – and had long since left by the time our food finally arrived (and not all of it, by the way). And the icing on the cake? The pizza was small, poorly topped, and of subpar quality – but at prices that could otherwise only be justified in downtown Munich. But at least there, you get value for your money. Service? Disastrous. The waitress was rude, annoyed, and arrogant, completely unfriendly despite the long wait – more like a feeling that you were a nuisance as a guest. The manager himself? Unfriendly at the checkout, no apology, no regrets. And then there were Thai dishes on the menu, which actually sounded exciting – but when asked, the only response was an annoyed "They don't have everything today, I'd have to cook first" from the (presumably responsible) Thai cook. Conclusion: A wannabe gourmet restaurant with exorbitant prices, poor organization, arrogant service, and bad food. Anyone who thinks they're going to go "high-class" in Kronach should first strive for quality and professionalism – both of which were completely lacking here. We definitely won't be coming back.

Super delicious food with a great atmosphere and friendly service!

Culinary Nightmare I can only advise everyone not to visit this restaurant. The evening turned into an absolute nightmare. The service was extremely unfriendly from the start. We had to wait a long time for our food and were then blatantly lied to by the server when we asked where it was. Even though we had been seated for a long time, other guests who arrived much later were given preferential treatment and received their pizzas before us. When we finally complained that our food had been forgotten, something unbelievable happened: The staff loudly and condescendingly spoke badly about us in front of other guests. I've never experienced anything like that before, and it's completely unacceptable. After the disastrous service, the food was also a complete disappointment. The pizzas weren't cooked through, the cheese wasn't melted, and everything was disproportionately overpriced. Furthermore, the food arrived at our tables at different times, which made things even more unpleasant. There was no understanding or consideration from the staff. If I hadn't been so hungry, I would have left immediately. We will never enter this restaurant again.

"Italian night? More like a comedy show with bad service." After more than 90 minutes, we finally got our pizzas – half-raw, doughy, and with barely melted cheese. Our glasses were empty, but no one asked if we wanted anything else or if everything was okay. A friend's ordered salad didn't arrive for another 20 minutes after my main course. The waitress brought it and asked mockingly, "Yeah, I guess you don't need that anymore?" When we declined, she said, "I knew that." After that, the salad simply went to the next table. At one point, they said they were out of pizza dough – strange that all the other guests were still being served pizza. Particularly annoying: guests who had arrived significantly later than us were served before us. Instead of service, there were vacation stories at the next table, and behind our backs, we were even insulted because we "didn't understand" the wait. When we went to pay, I asked another waitress if we could pay her as well. She directed us directly to the manager at the counter. We paid there – without asking how we liked our food, and without even a word or a farewell. Conclusion: If you like half-raw pizza, disrespect, and ignorance, this is the place for you – everyone else should steer clear.

We were here with friends and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. Although we had ordered early, we didn't get our food until 8:40 p.m. – by then the restaurant was far from full. We waited over 1.5 hours, were repeatedly put off, and finally received pizzas that were undercooked and only tasted mediocre. My ordered salad didn't arrive until about 20 minutes later, when the others had long since finished. The waitress asked me disparagingly if I even wanted the salad. When I said no, she simply replied, "I already knew that." Then, laughing, she carried the plate to another table and made derogatory remarks about us. The rest of the service was anything but professional: When we asked for a small apology for the wait, the waitress simply replied, "I'm not going to let myself be blackmailed here. If I do, I'll make you an offer – not you to me." Instead of understanding, there was laughter and mocking comments – even in front of other guests. To explain the long wait, we were also told that they were out of pizza dough – at the same time, guests who arrived significantly later were still being served pizzas. Empty glasses were left standing, and no one asked for more drinks – there was no sign of any effort. We know that good service isn't a given these days – but unfortunately, an experience like this remains a very negative memory.

Yesterday, five of us ate at this restaurant. The salad was very good, but we all had pizza, which we definitely didn't love. The pizzas were very small, and everyone agreed that they tasted very much like store-bought pizza. The dough had also been in the oven for far too long and was extremely hard. And even though the place wasn't exactly busy, we had to wait a very long time for the pizzas.

The food was mediocre, with a wait of almost an hour (three tables that had ordered later were served in the meantime). The large pizza was mediocre at best, the prices were overpriced, and the service was grumpy and unfriendly. Card payments weren't accepted either.

Very tasty food (especially the fish and Asian dishes). Definitely recommended.

We were there for lunch with 24 people for a birthday party. Opening hours didn't matter; we were warmly welcomed. The food arrived fairly quickly, and there were welcome drinks without us having to say anything. Thank you, and we'd love to come back 😊

The perfect pizzeria. Cozy atmosphere, quick and super friendly staff. The food is fantastic, freshly prepared, lovingly prepared and served. Rich selection of drinks with interesting wines. Very child friendly. For me the best Italian restaurant I know - and I really know many all over Germany.

The “local” visit was an absolute disaster! The 14€ pizza is not even worth 5€, wrong delivery because hardly anyone understands German! The Capriciosa salad consisted of iceberg lettuce and iceberg lettuce... The other ingredients were simply missing and at a price of over €10 🤬 absolutely not recommended!

Great restaurant, there was a small misunderstanding when ordering, but the boss immediately remedied it. Everything was very good!

We received a very warm welcome at Vecchia Casa. Our group of 5 had different dishes from starters to dessert and everyone was super satisfied and the service from the boss was also unique.

IT COULD HARDLY BE WORSE!! My friend had ordered a rib-eye steak. The first thing that was served came to our table with the remains of a steel sponge. After we complained about this, the next one was brought to us after a while. It didn't take long at all for us to figure out the next thing. The steak was seared, but the inside was completely raw. By the way, the side dish was also cold, fried black and inedible. Afterwards the chef was brought to our table because the waitresses apparently had no idea what we wanted from them. Instead of admitting HIS MISTAKES and the LACK OF HYGIENE in this store, we were just loudly and rudely attacked. We wanted to return the food and pay. We were then loudly threatened with the police and the chef harassed other guests in the hope that they would agree that he had not made any mistakes. In the end there was no need for patrols, but we will definitely NEVER come to this store again. Far too high prices for this third-rate “restaurant”, although third-rate, in this case, is still a compliment. I am SERIOUSLY DISAPPOINTED! In this shop you don't have to come from the restaurant industry to see everything that goes wrong there. Simply an impudence from UNQUALIFIED “restaurateurs”!

You don't even know where to start. After a long 45 minutes, almost everything finally came after the initial wrong delivery One of the pizzas had a hole in it and the lasagna I ordered turned out to be cannelloni, which identified itself as lasagne. The wrong delivery was brushed off with "the chef says it's lasagne." Unfortunately, the prices do not indicate good taste or ingredients. It's a shame, the restaurant has a nice atmosphere and the service staff are very nice.

Stylish ambience, friendly service and, above all, very tasty food

Anstatt vegetarische Nudeln werden Nudeln mit Schinken serviert, obwohl zuvor ausdrücklich gefragt wurde ob die Pasta Fleisch beinhaltet, wurde dies verneint. Jedoch stellte ich während des Essens fest, dass doch Schinken sich in den Nudeln befinden. Wenn sie sich vegetarisch oder vegan ernähren würde ich Vecchia Casa nochmal überlegen. Es wurde nicht mal ordentlich entschuldigt! Absolut keine Empfehlung!

Wir mögen Mario einfach... und die Thailändischen Damen bringen noch eine geniale Abwechslung in die Speisekarte, so gibt es für jeden Geschmack etwas

Pizza schmeckt fantastisch, hat eine ganz besondere Würzung. Salate auch sehr gut. Ordentliche Portionen, Preis-Leistung gut. Das standardmäßig kostenlos gereichte Pizzabrot ist ein weiterer Pluspunkt. Sehr schöner Garten. Mein absoluter Lieblingsitaliener.

Wir sind spontan am Samstag im Vecchia Casa eingekehrt! Freundlich wurden wir zu einem Platz gebracht! Die Getränke erhielten wir schnell und auch die Bestellung des Essens wurde schnell aufgenommen! Als Gruß aus der Küche gab es frisches warmes Pizzabrot mit Käse! Der Salat kam schnell! Die Portion war riesig, für 2 Personen optimal! Ich hatte Nudeln mit frischem Gemüse, die super lecker waren und auch die Pizza mit Meeresfrüchten hat meinem Freund geschmeckt! Der Service und das Essen waren toll! Daher 5 Sterne!

Die einzige kompetente und freundliche Mitarbeiterin ist die Bedingung mit den blonden kurzen Haaren. Das Essen ist nicht gut. Geschmacklos, nichts besonderes, es schmeckt unterdurchschnittlich. Enttäuschend, nicht zu empfehlen.

Sehr gute Speisen, nettes Personal, gerne wieder!

Pasta und Pizza schmecken an sich sehr gut. Der Service, die Freundlichkeit und die Kritikfähigkeit hingegen lassen wirklich zu Wünschen übrig. Da die Portionen im Vergleich zu anderen Lokalen wirklich sehr klein sind, haben wir alle große Portionen bestellt und extra mehrfach darauf hingewiesen - da es hier durchaus vorkommen kann, dass man das falsche Gericht erhält! Lange Rede kurzer Sinn: Jeder hat eine kleine Portion erhalten, als man dies angesprochen hat wurde das Personal ausfällig und hat sich nur in Rage geredet. Eine kleine Entschuldigung ist hier wohl eher angebracht - dass der Service Bestellungen falsch aufnimmt oder (nicht böse gemeint) Sprachbarrieren auftreten, dafür können die Gäste nichts. :)

Gerade Essen Abgeholt. Thai: 3x leider nicht das, was wir wollten. Einmal den Zusatz (ohne Zutat X) vergessen. Blöd wegen Unverträglichkeiten. Das vegetarische Curry ist okay - aber leider nicht ausgewogen (zu wenig Proteinquellen). Aber auch ziemlich lieblos. Italienisch: Spitze Leider waren wir andere Qualität von euch gewohnt. Badumm

Die Portionen sind klein, der Koch "macht was er will" (Zitat der Bedienung) und an meinem Gericht war nichts italienisch, geschweige denn, dass es gut gewesen wäre. Die italienische Gemüse Beilage kam aus dem Dampfgarer und war teilweise roh, teilweise verkocht und insgesamt einfach ein geschmackloses Trauerspiel. Und das bei über 20 € für das Gericht. Ich komme nie mehr und meinem Mann hat es auch nicht geschmeckt. Die Bedienung ist freundlich aber vergesslich und zeitweise einfach nicht auffindbar...

Vom feinsten, sehr gutes Essen, freundliche Bedienung

Ambiente sehr schön. Wir konnten draußen sitzen. Die Bedienung wirkte sehr desinteressiert und eher genervt auf Nachfragen. Hauswein gibt es nicht, nur 2 andere Weißweine (war aber sehr guter Wein!). Schade eigentlich - wieso schreibt man Hauswein dann in die Karte? . Statt undas Seeseresc kleinen Thunfischsalates bekamen einen Großen, was absolut verzeihbar ist. Jedoch fanden sich ein paar Blätter gammliger Rucola darauf und das Balsamicodressing schmeckte wie aus dem Tütchen. Rucola muss man halt immer sortieren vor der Verwendung - das ist leider so. Bei den Hauptgerichten schmeckten die Quadro Formaggi Penne einwandfrei. :) Auch die Lachsnudeln waren lecker. Es fielen mir jedoch einige - deutlich anders schmeckende - Fischwürfel im Gericht auf. Ich sprach die Bedienung darauf an und bekam zur Antwort, dass das Seeteufel sei. Sehr merkwürdig, dass das nicht in der Karte stand.

Sehr freundliche Personal und der Essen war gut.

Die Pizza war ganz gut, allerdings waren die Wartezeiten und Freundlichkeit der Chefin alles andere als akzeptabel. Auf die Rechnung warteten wir, obwohl wir mehrfach nachgefragt haben über 45 Minuten. Als uns letztendlich noch mehr aufgeschrieben wurde als wir hatten und wir dies ansprachen, wurde man extrem pampig angefahren. Unbedingt die Rechnung prüfen!

Essen war lecker. Personal absolut unfähig und unfreundlich.

Freundliche Bedienung. Auf unsere Pizza mussten wir nicht lange warten, Knoblauchöl gabs als Extrawunsch fix dazu. Die Pizza war gut belegt,aber mir geschmacklich etwas fade. Mir hat Salz gefehlt oder sonst ein Gewürz auf der Pizza. Meine Freundin hatte Pizza Parma und sie fand sie sehr lecker. Mir war es im Restaurant an sich leider etwas zu frisch.

Ein guter Italiener und die Gerichte heben sich durch die Zutaten von sonstigen " italienischen Einheitsbrei" ab. Weiter so!

Das Personal war freundlich und schnell, vielleicht lag es daran, dass es zu der Zeit als wir da waren nicht allzu voll war. Schön eingerichtetes Restaurant mit gemütlicher Atmosphäre. Zum Essen... Naja... Die Thai Suppe hat eigentlich gut geschmeckt aber die beiden Pizzen waren ziemlich geschmacklos. Ungesalzen und ungewürzt... Ein guter Pizzateig sieht und schmeckt auch ziemlich anders. Mein "bitte ohne Paprika" Wunsch wurde auch vergessen oder nicht berücksichtigt. Unterm Strich leider enttäuschend.

Hammer thailändische Gerichte! Nur zu empfehlen

Leider ein sehr enttäuschender Abend (04.09.2021) im Vecchia Casa Kronach. Der Service hatte große Schwierigkeiten die Bestellung für zwei Personen aufzunehmen. Nach 1h Wartezeit auf das Essen wurde die Bestellung durch den Chef erneut aufgenommen. Leider wurden uns zwei Pizzas vorgesetzt, die nicht der genannten Bestellung und Größe entsprachen. Der Service reagierte ablehnend auf eine Reklamation. Die Pizzas waren klein, mager belegt und der Teig schmeckte nach TK Ware. Als kleine Wiedergutmachung für die misslungene Bestellung/Wartezeit, wurde uns ein Teller mit Frühlingsrollen serviert. Auch hier war die Qualität ausbaufähig und passte auch nicht zu unserem italienischen Menü. Für einen positiven Abschluss des Abends haben wir uns auf einen leckeren italienischen Espresso gefreut, leider gab es auch hier keinen geschmackvollen frischen Espresso wie man es aus einer Siebträgermaschine gewöhnt ist. Sehr schade, leider fehlt in diesem Restaurant derzeit der sprichwörtlich rote Faden. Das Restaurant ist im Außenbereich/Innenbereich sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet, bietet viel Potential und sollte ein solides und qualitatives italienisches Konzept aufgreifen.

Beste Pizzeria in Kronach. Service sehr zuvorkommend, freundlich und authentisch. Vor allem die Mischung aus italienischen und thailändischen Speisen ist etwas ganz besonderes. Immer einen Besuch wert!

Schlechter Service! So oft wir auch da waren, wir haben nie das bekommen, was wir bestellt hatten. Nachdem uns die Servicekraft zum zweiten mal das Falsche gebracht hatte, wurde sie auch noch unwirsch. Ambiente großartig, Pizza unterdurchschnittlich, aber alles andere sehr gut.

I was here today with a group of friends. Super service , friendly and helpful waiters and waitresses. We originally had an inside table but due to the good weather were able to move to an outside table. Excellent food. Both Thai and Italian dishes were freshly made and delicious. The red wine from the Sicilian vineyard Corradino was excellent. Wonderful atmosphere, good company and direct in Kronach the old town ! Highly recommended.

Wir waren gestern kurzentschlossen und zum ersten Mal im Veccia Casa und können nur sagen top!!! Freundliche Bedienung, schönes Ambiente und vor allem das Essen wirklich super lecker...der beste Italiener seit langem 👍🏼⭐⭐⭐ Wir kommen gern wieder wenn wir wiedermal in der Nähe sein sollten 😉
