I went there with relatives for breakfast. The food, service, and ambiance were very good.

The food was a huge disappointment: extremely fatty, the meat undercooked. The service was also very slow and unfriendly. What was particularly brazen was that the bill listed additional drinks we hadn't ordered, and when we paid, they tried to simply keep the change. Overall, a very unpleasant experience – definitely not recommended.

Another visit in August 2025 with excellent results. Very tasty business salad, fast and friendly service, and very reasonably priced. July 2024: Nice little restaurant with outdoor seating. The service is fast and friendly. The food is good and served quickly. The prices are reasonable. You have to look for parking around the restaurant.

I was there for the first time today. Particularly positive points are: The service is incredibly friendly, even when stressed. The ambiance inside is wonderful, and outside too, but much worse due to the extreme street noise (it's actually the old town, but the cobblestones and the many speeding cars mean you can't hear each other as soon as a car drives by). About the food: My friend's tagliatelle with salmon was incredibly good. That's why I don't doubt the chef. The big disappointment (which is why I only gave the food 2 stars) were the tapas. When I offer tapas, I expect authenticity. Served not on several small bowls as usual, but everything on one plate. Taste-wise, it was a total no-go, as the fried food was all frozen. And while it's nice that each tapas comes with two small slices of baguette, what do I want if I have, say, squid rings? So, if I'm selling frozen food for tapas, please don't charge €4.30 for 5 squid rings and another €4.30 for 3 slices of Serrano ham (which also tasted more like the supermarket chains' own-brand ham). So much could be done better here. Especially since my friend's dish definitely demonstrated their culinary skills. Either serve the tapas better and improve the quality, or lower the prices. Better yet: take them off the menu altogether. Everything else was perfect: the service, the ambiance, the cocktails.

The ambiance itself is very nice. There's a large and interesting selection of food. But when I see Netto buying the cheapest ingredients, for brunch or whatever, I lose interest. If I eat at a snack bar, or the restaurant only buys certain items like cleaning products or vegetables, etc., from a discount store, that's fine. But no inferior ingredients like sausage, cheese, or rolls for dishes that are then sold at a high price in the restaurant.

Highly recommended, delicious food and friendly service

I've been a regular at this cozy restaurant for years, and my little dog and I are welcome guests. Everything I've been served there so far—and I've tried the menu extensively—has been delicious, always freshly prepared, and beautifully presented. In other words, I'm always happy to return.

Unfortunately, the food is nothing special, and the price-performance ratio doesn't match. The service was very friendly, albeit relatively slow, even though the restaurant wasn't full. The cozy atmosphere is a positive. We'd happily return for a quick drink, but would eat elsewhere beforehand.

Going out to eat was a game of cat and mouse. My boyfriend and I were invited by his sister to go to the amusement park. A colleague of his wanted to go to Cocono that evening. However, we said we wouldn't be there until around 7:30 p.m. since we were out ourselves. That day, my colleague got a call from Cocono saying they would prefer to give him a table at 6 p.m. It was a Sunday and there was apparently a festival going on in Kronach. He said no because we had just arrived at 7:30 p.m. When they offered 7:00 p.m., so latecomers would still have time to finish their meals, he agreed. What can I say! We were in Kronach around 7:15 p.m. and were about to go upstairs when my colleague called to say we had to hand over our food because the kitchen closes at 7:45 p.m. and we wouldn't get anything then. We were already beyond irritated, and I didn't want to go any further. After some back and forth, we said we'd be there in two minutes. We got there and immediately ordered the drinks. Our colleagues had already ordered. Tapas were part of the menu. Just a few minutes later, the waiter came and told my boyfriend that the kitchen wasn't serving tapas anymore. He was disappointed. It must also be said that we deliberately didn't eat anything at the amusement park because we were going out to eat. And then he wanted to order some tapas. Oh well. I ordered the cheese spaetzle and my boyfriend a borrito. The cheese spaetzle were a complete joke and not worth the money. Extremely crispy and with two slices of cheese on top. Impossible for me. For me, a cheese sauce should go with it, especially at those prices. ☝🏻 At least the salad was tasty. Which I also found rather strange and extremely rude. While most people are still waiting, the waiters sit down at the bar and eat?! I come from the restaurant industry myself, but it's never happened before that the staff could eat while the guests were still waiting, and then before the guests. That's a no-go for me personally. Well, finally, the bill came, and there were some strange comments from the waitress because my boyfriend and I split the bill. So, I thought he'd set us up. We just said we were together. And more weird chatter about our relationship. But that was it. But that evening was enough for me. I won't be going to Cocono anymore. We prefer other restaurants to this one. Since then, we've tended to avoid the place.

Was there at lunchtime, food and service were top

The food here was incredibly delicious, and the menu offers a wide variety of interesting and tasty dishes and drinks. So there's something for everyone. The ambiance is very nice. You can easily spend a few hours here, and in the summer, you can even sit outside and enjoy the beautiful weather with delicious food and a cocktail. The staff was super friendly and very quick. Overall, highly recommended.

We were there for breakfast today and can't say anything negative. Everything was great.

Rude staff, you order one thing, get something else and then the waiter speaks to you rudely instead of apologizing and bringing you what you ordered... you eat what you get and that's it....

The food wasn't really my thing. It could have been spicier and had a stronger flavor. The consistency was rather sloppy (wrap with ham and mozzarella), and the ham wasn't spread out, just a pile. I only give it 1/5 stars. My companion, however, enjoyed the food, although the salmon was quite firm and cooked through. It could be done much better—but if you like it, go for it. The service was okay, the price was a bit high and not justified for the food! Maybe I just picked the wrong day. It will definitely give it a second chance, as it is otherwise a great restaurant.

The ambiance was actually the best part. The food was okay, nothing more, nothing less. Opinions about the value for money are certainly divided, even though the portions are large. The staff was friendly.

After a very enjoyable tour of Rosenburg Castle, we found a restaurant at CoCoNo that satisfied our hunger in a very pleasant way. The portions were huge and delicious. It's great that it exists, thank you very much.

We've been here several times. The service has been amazing every time! Even with four whining children, we're treated with love, respect, and exceptional friendliness. Mr. Wich spontaneously found us a table for over ten people, even though we didn't have a reservation. The food was also outstanding in terms of taste and quality! The steak was buttery soft, the pasta was heartily flavorful, and the vegetables were crunchy! We're looking forward to our next visit and recommend a visit to Cocono to everyone!

I would advise against eating there. After the steam chatterer disguised as the boss managed to lure you into the restaurant to eat, He sits like a pasha next to the entrance and gives his waitresses instructions. Then you wait almost 1.5 hours for a dead fried schnitzel in cheap frozen quality with equally cheap fries for a hefty price. A positive thing to mention is that even after complaining about the waiting time, the waitresses were friendly and you could get a free drink.

Delicious food, courteous staff

I had a lumberjack steak with fried potatoes and fried onions. The food wasn't as expected, the fried potatoes and onions were really burnt black. The meat was tender but bathed in fat. Also, there could have been a few fewer potatoes and a side salad instead. I would have liked that better. In terms of ambience, it was comfortably furnished but the table was far too dark for dinner. As a person who wore glasses, I soon found myself unable to read a menu.

We went there for lunch on a Sunday. The goose breast was very crispy and the meat tender, and the loins were also delicious. The service was also excellent! We'd love to come back 🙂

I have only positive things to say. I ate there with my girlfriend for Valentine's Day, and I have to honestly say, it was absolutely fantastic! The ambiance in the vaulted cellar was romantic with some atmospheric music, the waiters were very friendly, let me decorate the table a bit in advance, and the food was also excellent. Considering our current pricing structure, the prices are also reasonable! So, there's nothing to complain about. I'd be happy to go back! 😊

The tapas are 95% frozen food or ready-made products for €4.50 a portion. Service was very friendly.

The tapas were really tasty and of good quality, we really liked that! However, the service was a bit slow, something that could certainly be improved. The ambience was okay, but didn't stand out. A note pointing out that EC card payments are not possible today would have been very helpful before ordering - that would definitely be more customer-friendly. Overall, a solid visit with potential for improvement.

The service in the restaurant is very nice. The food is good and good value for money. The outdoor bar is very nicely designed. Although we were guaranteed a table until 7 p.m., we were asked to leave 23 minutes beforehand. That's a bit stressful.

We entered the restaurant by chance. We were pleasantly surprised by the reception, with escorts to the place. Unfortunately, this extremely positive impression was marred by service staff who seemed to intentionally look past the guests. It's a shame, we would have liked to try other things. The 🍺 was super delicious. Unfortunately I can only do one thing. My food was beautifully prepared and cooked to perfection. Perfect. So apart from the somewhat reluctant service, the restaurant is definitely recommended. Chapeau.

Main meal time 7 p.m., 2 people, restaurant almost full, went spontaneously and received a friendly welcome. The chef is a highlight, the steak is served to perfection, the pork medallions are great, the gentleman in the kitchen has mastered the coordination of the spices as well as the preparation of freshly cut salad. Service/ambience also top, attentive, fast and very friendly. Spent a lovely evening in a very nice restaurant.

My wife, I and our little dog received very friendly service here. We didn't have to wait long for the delicious food. It stayed warm on the heated plates for a long time. The penne with grilled vegetables was dressed with far too much oil. On the other hand, the grilled salmon fillet with rosemary potatoes was a delight. The terrace and the interior are attractive. Unfortunately, pedestrians walk on one side and cars constantly drive past on the other side.

A hidden bar in Bamberg that surprised me with the ambience in the inner courtyard. Unfortunately, the order for three beers took 20 minutes to arrive, even though full capacity had not been reached for a long time. I would have liked a little more speed here

Food was good and plentiful. What bothered us a bit was that empty glasses weren't cleared away and so we had a lot of used glasses on our table.

Ein durchwegs unerfreuliches Erlebnis. Der bestellte Lachs war kaputtfrittiert, fetttriefend und die Rosmarinkartoffel als Beilage ebenso. (Preis über 24.-) Wirklich unterirdisch! Das Schnitzel war zäh und definitiv nicht aus der Pfanne, Schwimmbadqualität! Bei der Lachsreklamation traf man auf unwirsches Verhalten der Wirtin. O-Ton Wirtin: "Roh wollen sie den Lachs ja wohl nicht. Der Koch macht das schon 30 Jahre so..." Da kann man nur sagen: schade. Unwillig ließ sie neuen Lachs zubereiten, mit der Anmerkung, dass dies nun viel Zeit in Anspruch nehmen würde. Ergebnis: geringfügig heller frittiert, dennoch fetttriefend und nun auch die gleichen Kartoffeln nochmal im Fett getötet. Dazu schnippische Behandlung von Wirtin und Bedienung. Insgesamt also sehr unerfreulich! Wir können nur abraten!

Drinks were good. However, after we finished our drinks, we were no longer noticed. We sat there for over an hour and the waitress didn't think it was necessary to ask. There would have been time for that as there wasn't much going on. By the way, it wasn't the first time...

Delicious and nice in the middle

We ate at Cocono on Friday. The food, both the starter and our two main courses, was world class! And what is even more worth emphasizing: the boss can be proud of her waitresses. It's very rare to find such nice and courteous staff in the catering industry these days. But the two girls surpassed everything. We felt super comfortable! And would love to come back! THANK YOU 🫶

Were there quite late for dinner. The kitchen still conjured up a great meal for us! And the service was outstanding. The dog was also welcome and received a treat. We will be back!

Tapas too small, calamari only 5 rings, raw dough, patatas sour, rabarbar spritzer totally diluted, drinks with almost no alcohol at all, never again

Nice restaurant in the upper town of Kronach. It was very busy, but the service was very attentive and the food was delicious. The waiting time between ordering and eating was also good. Gladly again!

Wir waren schon mehrmals dort essen und es war immer sehr gut mit gerechtfertigtem Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis, aber Silvester war eine herbe Enttäuschung. Ja es war spontan (3 Wochen vorher geplant) und ich habe beim Anruf vergessen nach dem Preis für das Silvesterbuffet zu fragen, aber 53,90 € !!! ohne Getränke pro Person ist schon eine Ansage. Wir waren zu viert (2 Paare) am Tag zuvor hatten wir es uns sehr gut gehen lassen dort und haben zusammen 180 € bezahlt. Das war es uns auch wert, aber an Silvester hatten wir weniger Getränke, es war sehr eng bestuhlt (es mussten Leute vom Stuhl aufstehen, damit wir an Ihnen vorbei kamen) und das Buffet hat eben besagten Preis gekostet. Die Vorspeisen standen vor Buffeteröffnung schon fast eine Stunde dort, die Nachspeisen waren extrem schnell leer geräubert und wurden auch nicht mehr nachgefüllt. Wir haben dann zu viert 280 € bezahlt obwohl wir 4 Getränke weniger hatten als am Vortag. Das sind 100 € mehr. Wie gesagt jederzeit wieder unterm Jahr, aber nie wieder an Silvester.

Wir wollten heute nur einen Gutschein holen und wurden vom Koch angeschrien, dass erst in 17Uhr geöffnet sei. Wir waren um 16:55Uhr im Laden gestanden. Unfreundlich wenn man nur einen Geschenk Gutschein für Weihnachten holen will!

Interessante Ausstattung. Speiseangebot breit gefächert. Essen war sehr gut. Gerne wieder.

Schönes Ambiente. Die Mitarbeiter waren alle nett und freundlich, trotz Veranstaltung ging alles sehr schnell. Die Hauptspeise war gut, die Tapas als Vorspeise gingen leider gar nicht. Leider Kante sich das Personal überhaupt nicht mit dem eigenen Wein aus und brachte immer einen anderen.

Ein wirklich wunderbares Restaurant! Der Service ist 1A und das Essen schmeckt auch wirklich super! Die Portionen sind wirklich nicht gerade kein und der Preis ist wirklich mehr als fair.

Das Essen war gut. Die Bedienung freundlich. Leider durften die Angestellten zur Mittagszeit direkt neben der Eingangstür nahe den speisenden Gästen rauchen und machten von dieser Möglichkeit auch regen Gebrauch. Ich empfand das als rücksichtslos und unpassend, unprofessionell. Probiere beim nächsten Besuch sicher ein anderes Restaurant.

Ich gehe gerne im COCONO essen. Vor allem am Abend ist es sehr schön, sich von der Spanisch angehauchten Küche verwöhnen zu lassen. Ich kann das Restaurant empfehlen. Am meisten macht der Besuch in einer gemütlichen Runde mit Freunden Spass...

Nettes Restaurant, man bekommt alles, Ambiente sehr schön

Wir waren schon öfters im COCONO und das Essen ist meistens wirklich lecker und empfehlenswert. Leider bin ich jetzt schon 2x mit dem Gericht "Gebackene Fetawürfel mit Kalamari" eingegangen. Als ich dieses Gericht das erste Mal wählte, waren einige der Feta-Würfel richtig bitter und ungenießbar. Sie haben sogar auf der Zunge gebissen. Ich dachte mir, vielleicht sind es Schafs- oder Ziegenkäse Fetas und sie haben deshalb diesen strengen Geschmack. Es waren aber auch zwei gute Würfel dabei, die richtig lecker waren. Und deshalb gab ich diesem Gericht gestern nochmals eine Chance. Der erste Fetawürfel war auch wieder richtig lecker. Ich habe mich schon gefreut, doch die anderen drei waren wieder extrem bitter und nicht genießbar. Laut meiner Internet-Recherche bedeutet bitterer Feta, dass dieser verdorben ist und nicht mehr serviert werden sollte. Die Küche muss das besser prüfen! Verdorbenen Feta erkennt man nicht immer am Geruch, man muss auch den Geschmack prüfen!

Consigliato da conoscenti, abbiamo pranzato con tradizionali Sauerbraten e Roulade accompagnati da Kloßen e Apfelrotkraut, tutto molto buono.

Wir mussten zwar etwas auf unser Frühstück warten, aber es war auch sehr viel los. Dennoch blieben die Bedingungen ruhig und sehr freundlich und hatten immer ein nettes Wort für einen. Das Ambiente ist sowieso sehr schön. Also, sehr zu empfehlen.

Aufmerksamer Service, aber meine Tapas hatten ihre beste Zeit schon hinter sich gebracht. Die gefüllten Datteln waren ein Coco no go .Die Falafel waren zu lange in der Friteuse und schmeckten etwas koreanderlastig. Die dazu gereichten Dipps und das Brot war schmackhaft. Leider war der Rotwein viel zu warm.

wir haben heute im cocono mittags gegessen. service freundlich. das essen paprikaschnitzel war nicht so gut. das fleisch kein gutes stück, die pommes gut, der salat vielseitig aber das dressing ohne geschmack, wässrig. auch der salat der frau beim dressing wässrig ohne geschmack.

An sich wirklich ein schönes Lokal, auch die Außenterrasse wirklich sehr schön gestaltet. Leider war das Steak, welches auf meinen Wunsch medium rare gegart sein sollte, fast durch. Die Pasta war leider recht weich und geschmacklich auch eher dezent. Die Portionen hingegen waren bei allen Gerichten sehr gut und reichen auch einem guten Esser gut aus. Der Service war freundlich aber eher zurückhaltend, die bestellte Pfeffersoße war wohl durchgerutscht, wurde auf Nachfrage aber nachgereicht. Die Kritik bezüglich des Essens wurde akzeptiert, aber nicht größer thematisiert. Das Dessert war gut. Für den Preis kann man da aber sicher noch mehr rausholen.

Sehr schönes Lokal, war dort schon frühstücken und Mittagessen. Gemütliches Ambiente, freundliches Personal, leckere Speisen und faire Preise, mehr kann man nicht erwarten. Die Toilettenbeleuchtung ist für meinen Geschmack etwas schummerig aber das soll den absolut empfehlenswerten Eindruck nicht schmälern. Grosse Speisekarte mit reichlich Auswahl deckt jeden Geschmack ab

Zuerst mal da Positive: + Die Lage in der Altstadt ist sehr schön, vorallem wenn man im Freien einen Platz hat. + Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Aber leider waren die Tapas, die sich in der Speisekarte so lecker angehört haben, einfach nur lieblos fritierte TK Ware. Die Soßen schmeckten nach einfachen Grillsoßen. Unsere Kinder hatten ein Schnitzel Wiener Art, das aber auch nicht besonders war. Das Bier war zwar gut, aber der Mojito hat die Rumflasche nur aus großer Entfernung gesehen.
