Gasthaus Hain in Kronach

There's no TV, and the Wi-Fi reception leaves much to be desired. The rooms are OK.

We recently visited CoCoNo again after a long time, at the suggestion of a friend. We had a reservation for five. The table was set for four, and then an extra chair was added later. Unfortunately, the table was then very cramped for five. The menu hadn't changed since our last visits. A shame. A change of scenery would certainly be nice. We don't know what was wrong with the kitchen extractor fan that evening, but our clothes were so contaminated with the smell of grease that we had to take our (down) jackets to the dry cleaners. Frankly, we're not keen on that and will be trying other restaurants for the time being.

Good food, quick, no need to wait long, service is super friendly, I recommend it, we got a discount from 7 euros to 5 euros.

If you are in Kronach, you definitely must eat here. The restaurant is not too big and is tastefully decorated. The menu is a mix of Italian and Thai. There were five of us, and we hadn't made a reservation on a Wednesday evening. I ordered a spaghetti and seafood dish myself, and it was perfect. The pasta was hot and perfectly cooked, and there was plenty of seafood. Everything was very flavorful and well-seasoned. The rest of the party had salmon pasta, which was also served at the right temperature, and the salmon was perfectly cooked. Someone also had a seafood pizza, which was also generously topped with seafood. The average price was between 20 and 30 euros. Since we were treated, I didn't see the final bill, but I suspect it was under 150 euros. A nice price for 5 adults. We will definitely eat here again when we return. Highly recommended.
