Gasthaus Hain in Kronach

There's no TV, and the Wi-Fi reception leaves much to be desired. The rooms are OK.

We recently visited CoCoNo again after a long time, at the suggestion of a friend. We had a reservation for five. The table was set for four, and then an extra chair was added later. Unfortunately, the table was then very cramped for five. The menu hadn't changed since our last visits. A shame. A change of scenery would certainly be nice. We don't know what was wrong with the kitchen extractor fan that evening, but our clothes were so contaminated with the smell of grease that we had to take our (down) jackets to the dry cleaners. Frankly, we're not keen on that and will be trying other restaurants for the time being.

IT COULDN'T GET ANY WORSE!! My friend ordered a rib-eye steak. The first one served came to our table with the remains of a steel sponge. After we complained about this, the next one was brought to us after a while. It didn't take long at all for us to discover the next problem. The steak was seared, but was completely raw inside. The side dish, by the way, was also cold, blackened, and inedible. Afterwards, the chef was called to our table because the waiters apparently had no idea what we wanted from them. Instead of admitting HIS MISTAKES and the LACK OF HYGIENE in this establishment, we were simply loudly and rudely spoken to. We wanted to return the food and pay. We were then loudly threatened with the police, and the chef harassed other guests, hoping they would agree that he hadn't made any mistakes. In the end, no patrol was needed, but we're definitely NEVER coming back to this place. Far too high prices for this third-rate "restaurant," although third-rate, in this case, is a compliment. I'm SOLELY DISAPPOINTED! You don't have to be a restaurant professional to see everything that goes wrong in this place. Simply a disgrace from UNQUALIFIED "restaurateurs"! If I had the chance, I'd give it zero.

Good food, quick, no need to wait long, service is super friendly, I recommend it, we got a discount from 7 euros to 5 euros.

Everything was delicious, the best bruschetta and super friendly staff.
