Nicely decorated restaurant with very good burgers. I'll definitely come back.

I've been going to the Riverside for many years now—you could almost say decades. The American food is great, the quality is consistently high, and the beer is always well-chilled—just as it should be. 🍔🍺 Back in the day, there was that little extra: fantastic rockabilly bands that rocked the Riv and turned many an evening into a little journey back in time. 🎸 Nowadays, however, they seem to have swapped the bands for a solo entertainer who is most amused by his own jokes. 😅 Humor and music are, as we all know, a matter of taste—unfortunately, I couldn't stand either. Often, it wasn't so easy to find the right tone. So in the future, I'll probably only stop by when the guy isn't playing. Still: top-notch food, friendly service, and a generally great atmosphere—only the music isn't quite to my liking at the moment. 🎶

We ordered two burgers for pickup from the Riverside Café today – and were truly disappointed. The cheeseburger was specifically ordered with pickles instead of gherkins, yet it still had pickles on it. The meat was clearly frozen and correspondingly bland. The portion of fries was ridiculously small for the price, and payment was only possible with cash or PayPal – really poor these days. On top of that, not a single employee even said hello. Zero friendliness, no sense of service. A few years ago, the Riverside was highly recommended, but you can clearly see that they're skimping on the product – and that's a real shame.

Unfortunately, the quality has noticeably declined over the past few months...the meat on the burgers is frozen, in my opinion, and tastes accordingly...the portion of fries is way too small for the price. The value for money is no longer good for me, unfortunately, I can't recommend it at the moment.

The Coke tasted bland. I ordered an extra portion of fries (€4.50) to go with the bacon burger. A carelessly presented plate arrived with a rather meager leftover fries sitting next to it. After asking the friendly waitress if that was seriously the portion of fries, they asked the kitchen. Apart from a discussion behind the counter, eye-rolling from the kitchen assistant, and, to top it all off, stupid looks from the boss, we got NOTHING! The 17 broken fries actually cost €4.50, and the crew's ignorance was absolutely RUDE! The lazy boss doesn't care that we're NEVER coming back! He has other things to worry about. Some stupid & hungry people are getting lost again. Who needs regulars in 2025? 👎🏼 Outrageous!!! I felt too stupid to bring up the Coke thing. The only nice thing was the atmosphere and the friendly young waitress, who we almost felt sorry for!

We absolutely recommend it 👍🏻 - Super friendly server, who was always around at a good interval. The prices are also really great for what you get. The burgers we ordered with potato wedges and coleslaw were absolutely fantastic. If anyone makes good burgers, it's the Riverside in Kronach. Damn tasty spare ribs for a good price. Draft beer and a lovely terrace! Service was friendly and regularly checked on the guests' well-being. Cons: confusing parking situation.

Nice restaurant in the heart of Kronach. A somewhat "different" American-style eatery with delicious food; the burgers are especially recommended. The value for money is definitely good here. However, the service was rather short; the burger came with fries or wedges; they didn't ask what the customer wanted; the burger was "simply" served with fries. Payment was only possible in cash, but the waitress didn't have any change, so it was very difficult to give it. A shame, otherwise, I'd happily give it 5 stars.

A nice, well-located American-style restaurant, great location, good selection of drinks and food, was just right yesterday or what we needed, we'll be happy to come back.😊👍🍔🍟

The vegan burger was very tasty, the waiting time was short, the staff was friendly, the prices were right, the atmosphere was cozy and I would be happy to come back again.

Went to Riverside with kids in the evening, I had a big cheeseburger with extra bacon and fries. The burger was slightly medium, just the way I like it, the fries were crispy and delicious. The service, very nice and helpful Everyone was really excited, we'll be back...

Vacuuming (the boss himself) and closing early (8:30 p.m.) while guests are still eating is the bottom drawer. Food is good but still not hospitable. Better go somewhere else. Was my last visit here!

The interior of the restaurant is lovingly decorated. The seats are comfortable and the tables are clean. The food was okay, not bad, but not really good either. The ribs are recommended, the burgers are really filling. The cole slaw was also good. The fries were a bit disappointing, unfortunately they were just a dry lump with mild cheese gratinated, a spicy cheese sauce or a good dip would have been nice. Unfortunately, the sour cream with the potato wedges didn't taste like much. Unfortunately, mayonnaise is only available in one packet upon request. The coffee was very bitter. It was a nice experience, but probably more of a one-time one

Small, pretty shop with an American flair. I wouldn't have expected it to be in this rather tranquil area. Food and drinks absolutely good. Service extremely attentive and friendly.

Spare ribs nomnomnom. So tender so delicious. If you like spare ribs, you'll love these at Riverside. Plus coleslaw and potatoes. With BBQ sauce.

Man fühlt sich wie in einem amerikan. Diner an der Route 66. Derzeit natürlich food to go! Sehr schneller Service. American Style zu annehmbaren Preisen und freundlicher Bedienung. SUPER war der Bacon-Burger mit Pommes und amerikan. Krautsalat.

Super Burger in tollem amerikanischem Ambiente! Schnell serviert, guter Service, wir kommen wieder!

Wraps, Burger und Salate sind sehr lecker. Nudeln und Pizza habe ich bislang noch nicht probiert. Die Homemade Lemonades sind auch sehr toll.

Tolles Ambiente, sehr freundliche Bedienung. Das bestellte Essen war schnell auf dem Tisch. Wunderschön eingerichtet und sehr schmackhaft. Die Limonaden muss man unbedingt probieren. Wenn wir wieder mal in der Gegend sind, kommen wir auf jeden Fall wieder.

Heute sollte es mal wieder Burger geben und so sind wir auf dem Heimweg an diesem Restaurant stehen geblieben. Der Service war so wie er sein soll. Auch das Essen kam schnell und hat super geschmeckt.

Het eten was geweldig! De spare ribs waren perfect gaar en heel lekker, ook de burgers waren goed. We hebben met 6 heel lekker gegeten. De ober was heel vriendelijk en deed moeite om ons zelfs in het Engels te helpen. Buiten zaten we gezellig en rustig aan het water.

Das war mal ein Superladen , Schade War Sehr Enttäuscht. Das Essen Überteuert für diese Qualität. Qualität Sehr Schlecht. Hatten Pizza, Burger, Salat,Nudeln, Nicht Zu empfehlen. Geschmack Los.

Tollen Cafe im American Diner Style. Der Service war super freundlich und aufmerksam. Das Essen hat sehr gut geschmeckt und es ist für jeden was dabei. Einziger Punkt: Um das diesen ganzen Diner Style noch abzurunden wäre passende Musik toll.

Das Ambiente und das Personal ist echt gut, ich war dort "früher" auch öfters. Aber die Pizza geht in meinen Augen gar nicht. Musste die Hälfte stehen lassen, überlaufen von Käse, unten drunter nur Tomatensoße. Den Burger meiner Frau hab ich mal versucht, das Fleisch kann der Schachtelwirt leider besser. Ich denke die Küche bräuchte mal ein Update.

Wir waren multikulturell und mit Kind unterwegs und wurden trotzdem sehr freundlich empfangen. (Das ist leider nicht überall selbstverständlich). Haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Essen und die hausgemachte Limonade waren lecker 😋 kommen bestimmt wieder

Edit: War vorgestern erneut dort & die beiden Mädels waren echt smash, aber der Chef höchstpersönlich ist eine 11/10. Wärmste Empfehlung für alle egal ob von nah oder fern. Ich war heute mal wieder im Riverside essen. Wie immer war der Service super, die beiden Mädels waren mit Freude bei der Arbeit und haben jedem Gast ein Lächeln ins Gesicht gezaubert. Auch das Essen (hatte einen Mega Bacon Burger mit Pommes) hat fantastisch geschmeckt und war super schnell da. Zudem ist das Ambiente wirklich schön und man fühlt sich immer etwas in die guten alten Zeiten zurück versetzt. Fazit: Auf jeden Fall immer einen Besuch wert und wärmsten zu empfehlen!

Waren heute als Familie (7 Personen) zusammen hier Burger essen. Es war sehr lecker, sehr freundliche Bedienung und das Essen kam auch schnell. Gerne wieder :)

Tolle Burger, richtig schöne Einrichtung im Stil der 50er und vor allem ein sehr schneller, total aufmerksamer und sehr freundlicher Service.

Seit 20(?) Jahren gleichbleibende Qualität beim Essen. Ein schönes Diner, in dem man guten Gewissens einkehren kann.

Die Burger sind gut und relativ günstig. Pizza auch ok. Es gibt immer abwechselnd ein spezielles fränkisches Bier

There is really nothing I could complain about. I loved the interior in the American diner style and enjoyed the delicious juicy burger, excellent fries and heavenly tasting Coleslaw. Also staff was very friendly, helpful and efficient. If I ever come back to Kronach Riverside café will be my choice.

Angenehmes Ambiente. Montag ist Burger Tag - sehr zu empfehlen! Wir sind ab und zu mal da und waren immer zufrieden.

Hier gibt es alles, was das "Fastfood-Herz" begehrt. Es gibt Burger, Pizza, Steaks, Wraps, Salate ... Es ist für jeden etwas dabei! Das Ambiente ist super, man fühlt sich wie in einem amerikanischen Diner. Der ist Service ist top, die Wartezeiten sind sehr kurz. Preislich kann man auch nicht mekern. Wir kommen gerne wieder hierher!!!
