Not Italian, but very friendly and good food.

Trattoria Fontana is centrally located at the town hall square in Kleinmachnow. All the staff are very polite and helpful. Unfortunately, Trattoria Fontana doesn't maintain consistent quality. Sometimes the food is excellent, and other times it's disappointing. On our last visit, despite having a reservation, no table was ready because the time had been mixed up. An appetizer was forgotten, the salmon was overcooked, some of the potatoes were cold, and the spinach was bland. My son enjoyed it the most; he simply ordered pasta with butter. We expressed our concerns to the server, who served two desserts as an apology. The owner was unavailable to discuss the issue, as he had already left the premises. Including drinks, we paid €300 for 10 people. It's a shame to leave dissatisfied.

We've been coming here regularly for years and love it. The service is friendly and reliable. The food is delicious and varied, although we usually order the same things (creatures of habit, we know ;-) ). In any case, it's a nice habit, and we always see familiar faces here. We highly recommend the restaurant and look forward to our next visit. The Rathausmarkt (town hall square) has a pleasant atmosphere, and you can do your shopping afterward.

There were six of us, and we tried pizza, pasta, and a meat dish, all of which we enjoyed. Everyone was full and satisfied, and we'll definitely be back.

A beautiful, very cozy Italian restaurant at the town hall square in Kleinmachnow. In the summer, you can sit outside in a wonderfully relaxed atmosphere, right on the square (pedestrian zone). Inside, soft lighting and quiet Italian music create a welcoming and comfortable ambiance. The very friendly, attentive, and always helpful staff contributes significantly to this. Special requests are easily accommodated whenever possible. They offer classic dishes at reasonable prices, generous portions, an extensive menu, and drinks of very good quality. We had excellent shrimp and very tasty pork tenderloin in Gorgonzola sauce, which, upon request, was served with tagliatelle instead of potatoes. The homemade tiramisu was the perfect ending—incredibly delicious and simply divine! A perfect place to enjoy and relax. We've been going there for years and are always delighted. You simply feel comfortable and at home. Many thanks to the wonderful hosts for a very pleasant evening!

Only tasted garlic, which is not making it italian food at all.

Maybe I ordered the wrong dish. The salmon with chanterelles was dry and undercooked. The potatoes were old, and the broccoli had bits of sand in it. My companion had pizza, and it was quite tasty.

Delicious pizza, really helpful staff. Pizza made to order, very tasty, wasn't on the menu, but spicy Italian salami is my favorite. Thank you. The ambiance is lovely, with Italian music, flair, pizza, and a taste of Italy, if you let yourself go.

The staff were friendly and welcoming, but I was surprised when the pizza I received was completely different to what I ordered. I ordered a mushroom pizza, but for some reason I got a Hawaiian pizza. I didn't want it to go to waste, so I ate it anyway, but it didn't suit my taste. The other dishes were just average, neither good nor bad. It was a bit disappointing that the cappuccino was just average, considering it was an Italian restaurant.

Service was okay. The Coke was still carbonated, but at least it was cold. The food was okay; bruschetta with cucumber was new to me, no balsamic vinegar, no basil. I was supposed to pay around €15, but apparently card payments only accepted over €20. It's not stated anywhere, and I've never experienced that before! Unfortunately, there was no bank nearby, so the waiter rounded up the bill to €20. Absolutely awful! Unfortunately, there won't be another visit! Very disappointing!

Beautiful Italian restaurant with very polite and attentive staff. The ambiance is lovely, and the food is highly recommended. The homemade tiramisu was a dream. You can sit outside in a lovely small pedestrian zone, and there is plenty of parking. Reserving a table for the evening is recommended.

Never again! Average food, decent service. The bill is immediately charged in cash, and payment by card isn't possible, even though it's stated otherwise. When I insist, the owner becomes abusive and even violent! The waiter suddenly produces a card payment device. Any questions?

Called the restaurant and asked for delivery. I don't know right now, I'll call her again in 2 minutes. 20 minutes later we call again. No, we don't deliver.

Our pizza was very tasty. The truffle pasta was also delicious, but the amount was very small, especially for one man. The servers were all very disorganized. We had no cutlery, and no one even came to our table to ask if we wanted something to drink, so we had to go and get it ourselves. They charged €2 for plain white bread, which you get everywhere else. It's a shame...we won't be coming back.

Spontaneous visit, as you can get a table on weekdays, invites you to linger...large selection of wines..Cash and EC payment possible...

We ended up here by chance and didn't regret it! Very attentive, friendly service and delicious, rich pasta dishes. When we asked, we were given fresh bread free of charge. Price/performance is good, we would like to come back!

Ate very well, on average 3 euros cheaper compared to the identical Stahnsdorf menu. And a very very friendly staff. We'll be back!

Leider haben wir hier eine der unangenehmsten Erfahrungen gemacht, die wir je erlebt haben in unserem langen Leben als oft und gern Essen-Geher. Offenbar war dem Ober die wiederholte Frage einer Freundin, ob das alkoholfreie Bier als 0,0 deklariert sei, schon zu viel. Das wusste er nicht genau, konnte es auch nicht in Erfahrung bringen. Als ein Freund eine Pizza Marguerita bestellte, befand sich kein (wie auf der Speisenkarte ausgewiesen) Basilikum darauf. Hierauf angesprochen, wurde ein Teller mit laschen Basilikumblättern gebracht, als unser Freund davon nicht sofort alle auf der Pizza verteilte, erschien - diesmal ein anderer - Ober/Geschäftsführer (?), griff auf den Teller und streute dem höchst erstaunten Gast die Blätter eigenhändig über die Pizza. Als wir fragten, ob wir als Gäste nicht genehm wären, sagte er ja. Diese Pizzeria liegt zentral direkt am Rathausplatz in Kleinmachnow. Wenn Sie sie besuchen, belästigen/behelligen Sie das Personal so wenig wie möglich, sonst sind Sie nicht willkommen. (Juni 2024)

Great pizza, especially the spicy one. As always, it tasted good today.

Very nice staff and the food is not exceptional. However, the prices are through the roof, even though they have been reduced, the restaurant is still overpriced! But what is incomprehensible to me is the choleric owner! Mostly in a bad mood, hectic, unfriendly and rude! You don't want to see an innkeeper like that again! You'll never see me again!

There is enough parking space behind the restaurant. Very nice atmosphere and everything was very clean and the food tasted delicious. Friendly employees, well-groomed staff. You don't have to wait long for food and drinks. Fresh and high quality, prepared to a high standard. Unfortunately, we were told that you can only pay with the card here from 20 euros. Below only cash, since two colleagues didn't have that much CASH with them we had to present it. Therefore a point deducted. Otherwise highly recommended and would be happy to come back at any time.

Stopping at this restaurant was the highlight of our bike tour for me. Despite our not exactly clean clothes, we received a very friendly welcome and every effort was made to ensure that our bikes were safely parked. The food was excellent, if we are in the area again we would be happy to come back. Thanks also for the group photo and for letting us fill up our water bottles!

Das beste italienische Restaurant in dem ich seit langem war!!

.. kurz entschlossen mit dem Wissen "es passt" auf eine Weißweinschorle und Antipasti eingekehrt.

Essen ist lecker und die Bedienung ist nett. Leider ist es ziemlich beengt. Die Toiletten sind nur über eine Treppe im Untergeschoss zu erreichen, was für alte Menschen nicht so vorteilhaft ist.

Wir gehen sehr gerne zu diesem Italiener, das Essen ist immer super hatte eine Pizza mit Hähnchen und das Hähnchen war vom Geschmack her überragend. Die Bedienung ist immer nett und freundlich. Nur zu Empfehlen.

Eine super Lokation,mit sehr leckerem Essen. Super Bedienung, welche extra für uns länger geblieben sind da wir erst sehr spät in Berlin angekommen sind Vielen Dank dafür nochmal 🙂

Ich habe selten so gut italienisch gegessen. Aufmerksamer Service und ein hervorragendes Vitello Tonato. Der rote Hauswein ist ebenfalls zu empfehlen. Die Pizza ist mit Burrata und nicht mit billigem Käse belegt. Man sollte sich nicht vom dem eher einfachen Erscheinungsbild an der Oderstraße täuschen lassen. Hier wird mit Liebe gekocht.
