A night in this hotel booked via hiking/trails was another experience that none of us would like to have again. Upon arrival, a guest was familiarized with the Wi-Fi, breakfast, pizzeria... A look at all of us... listen now, then I don't have to explain everything twice!!! Okay… nice “reception tone” here. Rooms were on the 3rd floor - no elevator. An absolute challenge for older guests. Rooms were well furnished and clean. The beds are an absolute disaster… Hammocks, on the other hand, are still comfortable. Hardly slept - great thing if you want to hike 20 km the next day at an altitude of 450m. Breakfast was OK. The boss was also a challenge in her brisk manner. Anyone who has been a service provider knows what I'm talking about... being nice is different.

We had a double room on the 3rd floor with a small balcony with a very nice view in this hotel for 1 night. The room is small but very nicely decorated, kind of cute. Very clean and well maintained. The double bed was very comfortable, we slept well in it, the bathroom was small, but it was sufficient and, above all, clean. You could also stay there for several days. The only complaint was that the television was a bit small, which is stupid for older people who can no longer watch. Maybe it would be nice to have a bottle of water in the room, because you don't think about taking something to drink with you in the room. The guest room was also very nicely decorated, clean, tidy. The host himself and the staff were very nice. Breakfast from 8:00 - 9:30. The breakfast buffet had everything you needed. What was perhaps missing would be boiled eggs, cucumber and tomato slices. Otherwise everything was there. But that's complaining at a high level. Because the room for 2 people for one night with breakfast was really cheap. There's absolutely nothing you can say... We were very very satisfied. What's also great is that you can also eat delicious food there 😉 The next time we visit, however, we would go on the 1st or 2nd floor, because if you have joint problems and walking with a suitcase on the 3rd floor can be tiring. We can really recommend this hotel and the hosts 😉

Das Hotel ist zentral, zweckmäßig und sauber. Leider zu wenig Plätze beim Frühstück um jedem Zimmer einen eigenen Tisch zu geben. Manchmal muss man zusammenrücken. Muss man mögen. Frühstück ist ausreichend aber nicht üppig. Keine Eierspeisen außer zu lang gekochte Eier. Orangensaft ist wässrig. Ich fahre seit der Kindheit mehrmals im Jahr an die Mosel. Nun mag hier im Winter nicht die Hauptsaison sein, aber es fällt auf, dass es besonders in Zell zu einem Verfall der Innenstadt kommt. Kaum noch Geschäfte, heruntergekommene Häuser, was geöffnet hat, ist oftmals in früheren Zeiten stehen geblieben. Um weiterhin touristisch attraktiv zu bleiben, muss hier schleunigst was passieren. Schade, aber leider an der Mosel kein Einzelfall.

Sehr lecker und sehr netter Chef

Das Hotel ist ein gut erreichbares Stadthotel, zumindest für uns Wanderinnen. Es gibt keinen Fahrstuhl im Hotel. Für uns, die sehr gut zu Fuß sind, war das kein Problem. Die Zimmer sind zweckmäßig, sauber und den Preis soweit wert. Frühstück ist ok. Was uns sehr irritiert hat, dass wir nur bar zahlen konnten. Das EC-Karten-Terminal war wohl defekt. Beim nächsten Mal wäre es gut, rechtzeitig darauf hinzuweisen.

Zaten op 4e veedieping, best veel trappen. Kamer prima, schoon en ruim. Wel Iets verouderd. Personeel kan iets vrolijker.

This is by far the cleanest place I have ever been to, the room was cozy and comfortable, the service was super super friendly and the breakfast was great (except for the coffee, which was way too strong for my taste, but you can't please everyone: the coffee I like is too weak for most...). The shower had fabulous water pressure, something I really appreciate. I have no idea how the people who got 'appalling' service here had behaved - after all, the service you get may depend on your own tone of voice.

Absoluter Traum! Die Bedienungen sind immer gut gelaunt. Das Essen ist spitze und immer über ausreichend. Der Preis ist top! Nur zu empfehlen, mein Stammrestaurant seitdem ich denken kann:)

2 keer heerlijk gegeten in de laatste week van het jaar. Vriendelijke bediening en lekker eten. Overige zaken in Zell waren steeds helemaal vol geboekt of gesloten

Alles sehr schön und sauber, freundlich und zuvorkommende Bedienung. Das Essen war sehr gut und günstig. Immer wieder gerne.

Tolle Lage mitten im Ort (Fußgängerzone)...sehr freundliches Betreiberpaar...gut gegessen...gut gefrühstückt...sehr gut auf guten Matratzen geschlafen. Absolut zu empfehlen!
