Very friendly staff and helpful. We didn't have a parking disc for 1 car and they gave us one.

Four of us were dining! We were warmly welcomed and shown to the terrace. Drinks took a while to arrive, and the menus were also delayed! The latte was too thin and tasted watery. The waitress kindly swapped it for a cup of coffee. Unfortunately, the coffee wasn't tasty either. As for the food: The pasta dish for €19 was tasty, but would have been even better if they had served it with some Parmesan cheese. A veal schnitzel, consisting of two wafer-thin slices, where the breading was thicker than the schnitzel and not browned sufficiently, was a bit disappointing. The salad had too many yellow, wilted, and sometimes slimy bits, the red cabbage was already pale in color, and the lettuce wasn't crisp. Pork schnitzel with pepper cream sauce: Schnitzel size and thickness were OK, breading could have been crisper, the salad corresponded to the above description. ``` Overall, it was a bit salty; the fries 🍟 and the sauce were too salty in my opinion, perhaps with more other spices. The fillet tips contained stringy, hard-to-chew bits, but the taste was okay. Despite honest, factual criticism, we felt like we weren't taken seriously. If you respond to the criticism about the watery latte with: "That's how it is here!" Overall, the price-performance ratio doesn't meet our expectations and doesn't quite match the quality. €120 is a lot of 💰 money. As a housewife and cook, I know what fried schnitzel can look like! With a veal schnitzel for just under €30, you expect a fluffy, puffy coating, not pale, sticky breadcrumbs. Unfortunately, therefore, only 3 stars for "home cooking"! The ambiance outside could also be improved. WHAT A PITY!

I quickly booked a hotel as I drove past and was surprised that I ended up in a Catholic conference center and hotel - the many crosses and the picture of Wolki at the reception take some getting used to. The facility is magnificent, yet modern and quite new. The room was large, functionally furnished and clean. I had a great view of Cologne. The breakfast was good, the breakfast room was just packed when I was there. Since all the restaurants were closed on Tuesday evening, I walked into town in 10 minutes and went to a really good little Italian restaurant "Ristorante Italia".

We rented the premises for a family celebration. Great location with a great, cozy atmosphere. The service from the waitress is also highly recommended and room rental can also be booked at the same time. All in all a great experience and definitely won't be the last time we celebrated and stayed there.

We were traveling from Stuttgart and were looking for a place to have breakfast. We received a very friendly and welcoming welcome. The owner is a typical Rhinelander. :) The breakfast was delicious and there was something for everyone. If we're ever in the area again, we'll definitely stop by again.

A very charming little hotel in the old town, right by the city walls. There's no longer a restaurant, but there are nice restaurants nearby. The rooms are lovingly furnished, and the breakfast is delicious. We'd love to come back.

Super friendly and competent service, delicious and high-quality food! We had the croutons and the salad with goat cheese and shrimp – it tasted absolutely delicious. Lovely ambiance.
