After being closed for quite some time, it's now open again. The food is fantastic, as is the service and ambiance. We usually go without reservations and always get a seat.

Very good restaurant in the Altmarkgalerie with various pita variations. Highly recommended. Friendly owner and very attentive waiters. A culinary delight, everything is freshly prepared with love. Prices are perfectly reasonable considering what a doner kebab around the corner costs these days. For just over €5, for example, you're very well served with a pita gyro. I can recommend everyone to visit the Akropolis restaurant in the Altmarkgalerie once or more. Enjoy your meal ☺️

Greek cuisine and this food don't know each other. They've never even met. Service, friendliness, and customer service have nothing in common with the reality there. No wonder the place is constantly empty. The prices are a slap in the face to all those who demonstrate more quality and commitment and charge less. The staff can't do anything, and that's a compliment. There, every bottle of water becomes a problem, every order, every act of kindness to customers. I bet the place will be closed in at least six months. Every McDonald's has a more pleasant atmosphere and quality. Nowhere else on this planet could this *restaurant* have survived even four weeks. PS: The owner's response should clearly show that such resistance to criticism will surely mean that the owner and staff will soon have plenty of time to assemble Kinder Surprise eggs. And yes, the restaurant has been there for many years, but not because of you 😃😃😃. You've proven in just a few months how it doesn't work.

All in all, it was pretty good. The only thing that shoddy about it was that they added two extra drinks to the bill was a bit of a blow to my confidence.

For example, I'm reading the "meat of the week" on the lunch menu right now, with two kinds of vegetables ⁉️ Grilled vegetables and princess beans⁉️ Better/more appropriate would probably be either vegetables or the beans and instead of the 'second' vegetable side dish, something with potatoes would be better! And of course there is definitely no herb butter to choose from with the beef steak! If you offer steak, then you should also have herb butter! Or at least can do it if you wish! Not a big deal! Unfortunately it doesn't speak for you! And unfortunately the service staff are almost always not cut out for this position! No smile, inflexible, unprofessional etc!! 👎

This Greek restaurant has been a familiar sight since the early 90s. I first came here shortly after reunification. Since then, I've spent countless evenings and lunch breaks here with my parents, colleagues, friends, and many loved ones. A lot has changed over the years: the staff has come and gone, and the quality of the food has also fluctuated somewhat. It's like life itself, a colorful mix of highlights and little moments that could use a little fine-tuning. And despite that, or perhaps precisely because of that, I always enjoy going there. There are places that have a history. This restaurant is definitely one of them for me. I somehow grew up with this Greek restaurant, and perhaps that's exactly why I always feel a little bit at home there.
