Here you feel welcome and at home. Greek hospitality as you would imagine as a German. Very, very tasty and rich, any special requests will be taken into account as a matter of course. When I asked if I could get an additional portion of gyros, I just nodded and asked: "for 5€ or 10€ or what would you like?" - just great. Bifteki, gyros, garlic potatoes and shrimp are highly recommended here. We'll be back!

Delicious delicious delicious... 😋Food is great and plentiful. super nice staff. Parking is sometimes a bit difficult, but it's free in the residential area or at the medical center. You should make a reservation, otherwise there probably won't be anything in the evenings or on weekends as it is very popular and always full.

For me, this Greek restaurant is simply the best in all of Dresden! The restaurant was already really good before, but since the new, young owner came in, the whole thing has taken itself to a new level. The food is simply sensational – every dish is a delight, full of flavor and perfectly prepared. The ambience also makes you feel incredibly comfortable here. It is cozy, inviting and exudes a warm atmosphere. But I would particularly like to emphasize the friendliness of the boss: with his warm manner, he makes you feel like you are part of a big family. The welcome is always friendly and warm, and you can feel that he really cares about the well-being of his guests. Everything is just right here – from the fantastic food to the pleasant atmosphere to the exceptional hospitality. Absolute recommendation for anyone who wants to enjoy great Greek cuisine and a perfect evening!

We love traveling to Greece and here we were able to relive the Greek summer with live music. The food was very authentic, fresh and good. The presentation could still be worked on a bit. Ambience seemed very modern but cozy. We'll be back.

We are guests in Dresden and found this restaurant. A real stroke of luck! Food very tasty, staff super friendly. Even brought our little dog something to drink. I've never experienced it anywhere! The waiting time was made pleasant for us with an ouzo beforehand. Great Lokas, I can fully recommend it!

Locally great. Most of the staff were very friendly. Salad and casserole great. Tzatziki tastes slightly sour, it's a matter of taste. Bifteki with Béanaise extremely fatty. The worst: fried potatoes are advertised as fried potatoes (feedback from the staff when asked: "Everyone does it that way." - a shame, a missed opportunity.).

For me a clear 5 stars, Food was great, delicious, can't complain, definitely 5 stars. Service was also wonderful, conditions were very nice and attentive… you could even have a great chat with them. The atmosphere was great, a mix of modern and antique. Greek music and an ouzo at the end round the whole thing off. If you want to eat Greek then definitely 5 stars here.

Absolutely courteous service, who served an unordered salad as an aperitif. The Gyros Metaxa gratinated with cheese was delicious in combination with the tomato rice that came with it. A large portion that, as a grown man, even if you're really hungry, you have to manage first so that you can fill your stomach with a stylish ouzo. Gladly again.

A really nice restaurant. I had dinner there with my family for my youth consecration. The tables and the restaurant inside are beautifully designed. The service is very friendly and the food we had tasted great. It was very nicely prepared, well seasoned and a normal plate had a quantity that would fill someone like me at 1.90 and 105kg, so really good quantities. Prices are also average. Overall 5 stars.

Our native Greek. We have been regular guests here for years. That's explaining everything. We have also gone through a few operator changes. And always had a strange feeling - what will the next one be like? In short - the successors have so far been in no way inferior to their predecessors. Unfortunately, they always didn't stay long. The current operators are probably the youngest in all the years, but - despite some fears - no less good. Hopefully they'll last longer. When you enter the restaurant you are warmly greeted and often greeted with a handshake. The waitresses are now telling us what we want to order. Funny. The restaurant is busy, so you should order well in advance. The food is delicious and plentiful, with an appetizer you'll have a hard time.

Unser Stammgrieche. Hier sind wir regelmäßig seit Jahren zu Gast. Das sagt eigentlich schon alles. Wir haben auch schon einige Betreiberwechsel mitgemacht. Und immer ein komisches Gefühl gehabt - wie wird wohl der nächste sein? Kurz gesagt - die Nachfolger standen den Vorgängern bisher in nichts nach. Leider blieben sie immer nicht lange. Die jetzigen Betreiber sind wohl die jüngsten in den ganzen Jahren, aber - trotz einiger Befürchtungen - nicht minder gut. Hoffentlich halten sie länger durch. Betritt man das Restaurant wird man herzlich begrüßt, kommt man öfter auch mit Handschlag. Mittlerweile sagen uns auch schon die Bedienungen was wir bestellen wollen. Lustig. Das Restaurant ist gut besucht, man sollte rechtzeitig vorher bestellen. Das Essen ist lecker und reichlich, zusammen mit einer Vorspeise hat man schon Mühe.

Very good food and good service! There were 9 of us and all the dishes tasted delicious. I would especially like to praise the tzatziki :-) The sanitary rooms were also very clean and the staff was friendly. You can sit inside or outside (in summer). We can recommend the restaurant and would be happy to come back.

We have been regular customers at this restaurant for around 20 years and have seen many restaurateurs come and go. We were skeptical at the beginning because we were spoiled by our predecessors when it came to the food, but the young people are doing great. Everyone is very nice and accommodating and the food tastes delicious, especially the tzatziki tastes like it used to. We will continue to be guests and would be happy to recommend it to others.

We haven't been here for a few years and were very pleasantly surprised. The new family, who have been running the restaurant since September 23, are doing a good job. The food is delicious, portions are big enough to fill you up. Price management is reasonable. The staff is very friendly and always tries to make the guests happy. If the restaurant gets full you should allow a little more time but you won't be forgotten. All thumbs up, keep it up.

The best Greek restaurant ever. I've been looking for a real Pita Gyros for a long time, one that's made in the original way in Greece. Here I finally found it! Incredibly delicious, you're just happy after eating it. The service is first class, you are warmly welcomed, your well-being is always taken care of and the hosts are always open to nice conversations. We don't have to talk about the ouzo, you only get the best. The ambience is great, you could think you were sitting in a Greek tavern. It doesn't just sound like a dream review, I really mean it. This is the only place I can go now and I'm looking forward to bringing this (taste) experience even closer to my friends. Everything is just great. 12 out of 10 stars!!!

It was a very nice evening (birthday), the atmosphere is beautiful, you feel very good and very comfortable. The food was more than delicious... (Price also very good) We'll definitely be happy to come back soon.

This time we explored the city of Dresden for tourism and were hungry for Greek food. During our internet search we found the "Athos", 'that suits us straight away agreed. A short-term table reservation was no problem. As soon as we entered the restaurant we liked the atmosphere, the style, the cleanliness and the flair. Our order from the extensive menu was quickly taken by the owner's very hospitable son; our requests for changes presented no problems at all for him. After a short wait, our food was delivered, everything to our complete satisfaction, extremely tasty, plentiful and very tasty. After dinner we talked a bit with the son, who, when we asked, said that his parents were in the kitchen. At this point a warm greeting to the wonderful chefs! We would recommend every guest who loves Greek food to stop at "Athos" and enjoy it. We'll definitely be back!

Wir haben uns dieses mal die Stadt Dresden touristisch erschlossen und hatten Hunger auf griechisches Essen. Auf unserer Internetsuche hin fanden wir das „Athos“, dass uns auf Anhieb zusagte. Eine kurzfristige Tischreservierung war kein Problem. Schon beim Betreten des Restaurants gefiel uns die Atmosphäre, der Stil sowie die Sauberkeit und das Flair. Unsere Bestellung aus der umfangreichen Speisekarte wurde vom sehr gastfreundlichen Sohn der Inhaberin schnell aufgenommen, unsere Änderungswünsche stellen überhaupt keine Probleme für ihn dar. Nach einer kurzen Wartezeit wurde unser Essen geliefert, alles zu unserer vollsten Zufriedenheit, ausgesprochen lecker, reichlich und sehr schmackhaft. Wir haben uns nach dem Essen noch etwas mit dem Sohn unterhalten, der auf unsere Frage hin erzählte, dass seine Eltern in der Küche stehen würden. An dieser Stelle einen lieben Gruß an die wunderbaren Köche! Wir würden jedem Gast, der griechisches Essen liebt, empfehlen, im „Athos“ einzukehren und es sich schmecken zu lassen. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder!

We ate there for the first time on Saturday and we were pleasantly surprised. From the outside it is quite inconspicuous, but inside it is very rustic and cozy. The waiters were all young people, but very quick and super nice. The food tasted wonderful and was plentiful. The prices were still quite reasonable. We will be very happy to come back.

We had wonderful time celebrating New Years eve at Athos. Delicious food, hospitable team, and a special 'touch' with a glass of champagne and fireworks for the celebration.

Sehr schönes kleines Restaurant, Das Essen war super und die Bedienung sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Gerne wieder.

Ich habe mein Geburtstagsessen dort gemacht. Wir wurden freundlich empfangen obwohl der Laden brummte. Das Essen war superlecker. Fleisch perfekt gegrillt und richtig zart. Bestellt hatten wir Zaziki und Pilze in Sahnesauce. Und als Hauptgerichte den Filetteller, das gefüllte Filet, Lende überbacken mit Ananas und das überbackene Bifteki mit Spiegelei. Dessert war eigentlich eingeplant aber wir sind ohne dieses schon nach Hause gerollt, daher haben wir das ausfallen lassen. Zur Begrüßung und zum Abschied bekamen die Erwachsenen einen Ouzo und der Teenie zum Abschluss einen Lutscher.

Wir waren gestern als Gäste im Arthos,die Bedienung war super nett und schnell.Das Essen war super lecker 😋Es fand eine kleine Geburtstagsfeier statt bei der auch Musik gespielt wurde,die Lautstärke hielt sich jedoch in Grenzen.Schade das es Leute gibt die wahrscheinlich nie feiern und sich immer beschweren müssen .Die Feier ging schließlich nur bis 23 Uhr weil alle wieder arbeiten mussten nächsten Tag.Wir kommen immer wieder gerne 😊👍

Es mag ja sein das das Essen und alles drumherum zu empfehlen ist, was aber nicht geht ist, wenn man sich nicht an seine eigenen Öffnungszeiten hält und einfach länger auf hat und die Musik laut aufdreht. Es gibt Menschen die müssen beizeiten aufstehen um arbeiten zu gehen auch am Wochenende und an Feiertagen. Es ist einfach nur nervig wenn man trotz einem geschlossenen Fenster sich den Krach mit anhören muss.

Waren gestern zum Essen. Das Essen (Rinderfilet in Pfeffersoße) war nicht mit Pfeffer, schade. Der Kellner (sehr nett) sagte ich kann ihnen eine scharfe Soße bringen, das wollte ich aber nicht. Man sollte auch Pfeffer in die Soße machen, wenn es so auf der Karte steht. Dafür war das Rinderfilet und alles andere top

Telefonische Reservierung, waren leider durch Krankheit weniger Teilnehmer, dadurch bekamen wir einen anderen Tisch am Eingang - welcher eben etwas zugig und ständiges Kommen und Gehen inkludierte. Der Service war hervorragend, freundlich und ständig zu gegen... erstaunlich bei 3 Servicekräften. Das Essen war für mich ausgezeichnet. Abstriche gibt es für mich leider an der Ausstattung der Gaststätte. Hat etwas von 90iger Imbissstyle. Nichts was das Genusserlebnis schmälert. Preis- Leistung - Top

Der Service ist hervorragend, daher 2 Sterne. Aber das Essen ist unterdurchschnittlich, um es vorsichtig auszudrücken. Ich liebe Moussaka und habe es schon oft im Restaurant gegessen. Was hier als Moussaka serviert wird, ist ein übler Matsch aus Hackfleisch, Kartoffeln und Käse, alles trieft vor Fett. Das Bifteki meiner Freundin war schön verbrannt. Auch alles drumherum war nicht wirklich lecker. Aber gepflegte Preise, habe noch nie 17 € für Moussaka bezahlt. Nicht zu empfehlen.

Das Fleisch war super, der Tomaten Reis genau so. Ich liebe alles an diesem Restaurant wir werden öfters kommen. Wir sind aufgrund der guten Bewertungen zum Mittagessen hingegangen und wurden nicht enttäuscht. Das Essen war reichlich und hat geschmeckt und der Service war auch top. Gut, da wir die einzigen Gäste waren, konnte sich der sehr nette Kellner auch auf uns konzentrieren. Unsere Extrawünsche kamen schnell und es gab zur Begrüßung und zur Rechnung Ouzo für alle Ü18. Und wer mal wieder so richtig herzhaft lachen möchte, sollte sich die Speisekarte genauer anschauen. Die 4 Punkte fürs Ambiete sind für die Tische auf dem Gehweg.

... seit 01.08.2023 wegen Urlaub geschlossen ... wir schreiben den 27.08. ... der Laden ist geschlossen, drinnen liegt alles durcheinander. 🤔 Sieht nicht aus wie zeitnah öffnen... und wenn man im internet nach den Öffnungszeiten schaut - steht "geöffnet " . Nicht schön wenn man dann vor verschlossener Tür steht 😒

Mein Lieblingsgrieche in Dresden! Wir gehen gerne hierher und ich hab auch schon mein Geburtstag hier gefeiert, freue mich jedes mal wieder griechisch zu essen hier. 😊

Ein typisch grieschiches Restaurant. Die Preise waren bei unserem Besuch sehr gut. Die Portionen perfekt. Wir waren zu fünft dort, jeder hat etwas anderes gegessen. Mit vorspeisen ala Peperoni/Oliven oder Feta Teller , Hauptgerichten und Getränken inkl. Cocktails waren es an ende 133 euro für 5 Personen. Ein Traum und absolut zu empfehlen!
