Alexandros in Dresden

The food was very tasty and sufficient. The Metaxa sauce turned out well. It's a shame that the service wasn't that child-friendly and that a crawling toddler "couldn't do her job properly here".

We had a very good experience at Alexandros. The staff was very polite, courteous and attentive. We ate our fill of the warm starters (vegetarian) and everything was excellent. Small and hidden but highly recommended.

Unfortunately we were disappointed. He's not a typical Greek. Hardly any garlic taste. My plate was floating in the water. The garlic potatoes weren't fully cooked either, but were soggy. Not a real sauce. It's a shame considering how expensive eating out is these days. The hygiene in the toilets also left something to be desired. Dirty. We won't come back anymore. However, the service was very friendly.

We recently ate here and were very satisfied. The service staff was very friendly and accommodating, the food was delicious and we didn't have to wait long. The portions were (I think) huge. We didn't finish everything and took the food with us. In my opinion it is not easy to find a good Greek restaurant but this is definitely one of the better ones.

The service was extremely friendly and attentive, you immediately felt at home. The food was fresh, excellently prepared and very tasty. The waiting time was pleasantly short, and the price-performance ratio was absolutely right.

Very accommodating, as they were fully booked, but managed to find us a table. The food was great. The staff were all incredibly friendly and welcoming. Gyros was great and the salad dressing was particularly tasty.

A lovely hidden restaurant and cozy beer garden. The service is competent and prompt. The dishes were tasteful and well prepared. We'll be back! It wasn't our first visit here.

We spontaneously went to eat here because the restaurant was close to our hotel. We were thrilled! Tzatziki as a starter and the salmon as a main course, very 😋 The staff very friendly and attentive! Gladly again at any time!

A bit hidden away, very rustic atmosphere, everything is older, the food is ok on vacation but not for more often, ready-made sauce, steak too cooked, etc... the staff is nice.

The plates are full. The restaurant is full. It tastes great and the service is very nice 😀 That's exactly how I imagine a Greek person to be. Definitely coming back.

A sad mistake from the nineties. Empty, flat, tired, without care. Heating instead of cooking. Unfortunately, fatigue and inertia in the absence of competition from Greek restaurants is enough.

Were there for the first time. The usual Greek salad had probably been there for a while and was the worst we've ever eaten. It was lukewarm and wilted. The main courses were fine and tasty. For the main course we ordered szazicki with bread, as on the menu. Unfortunately it was served without bread, which was charged for. We didn't need the bread so we didn't say anything, but when it's charged it should be there. The drinks were okay so far, although the draft beer was "topped up" with pre-tapped beer. It was lukewarm upstairs and very well chilled downstairs.

Nice Greek restaurant. But why are they not having the Choriatiki in pieces? That's so strange. Their olives are phantastic.

A restaurant that has its days gone by. We were greeted by a temporary/student waiter. We had free choice of seating. The children's menu was clear and beautifully designed. You could even color it in if you asked for the pens, which you wouldn't get The child had a plate of gyros with fries and a small salad. Unfortunately the tzatziki was missing and perhaps a small bowl of ketchup, so the food for the child was rather dry and more than half of it was returned. The plates in the restaurant were also there Already in better condition. The restaurant was very dirty. When it comes to hygiene, it doesn't look good. When the table is cleared, the guest's plates would be put together at the table, which is not something you learn in waiter training As a result, the used knife flew onto the guest's white shirt, a short apology and then it was chopped off. Unfortunately, the restaurant won't see us again, even if the food for the adults tasted pretty good, it's the little things that matter have been the last straw here.

Price/performance completely okay. Service friendly and quick. There is a beer garden which you can use when the weather is nice. I was there on a Wednesday and had the lamb plate. Meat on point and very tasty. I felt the typical Greek garlic note was missing from the tzatziki. But otherwise highly recommended.

Very friendly. Top quality of the food. Without counting it was the 10th time. Today wasn't so good for the first time. Service alone - all seats occupied on Monday - everyone a bit overloaded in the heat (30°) - can happen. But will go again.

“Thanks” to a flight cancellation, we “stopped over” in Dresden’s Neustadt and had dinner at Alexandros. Large portions, delicious Greek specialties - served by friendly staff. By the way, the prices are also completely reasonable.

The facility is not that comfortable. We had to wait a long time for the food. Taste wise it was ok. But we've had better Greek food.

The food came quickly and, as is usual with Greeks, was very filling. You can hardly manage a normal portion on your own, and you definitely won't go home hungry for your money. We ordered gratinated pan dishes. The cool thing was that the side dishes were served separately so that they didn't get soggy.

A family-run traditional Greek restaurant at hidden location off the main touristic routes. Rich choice of dishes, tasty food, big portions, kids menu. Definitely value for money. Lively and easy ambience, quick and friendly service. The restaurant has outside area in summer and big room for groups and events. It is open also for lunch. Very good take-away service - telephone order is processed within ca an hour.

Bester Grieche in Dresden, meiner Meinung nach. War schon bei verschiedenen Griechen in Dresden, in den letzten Jahren und vor 2 Wochen das erste mal beim Alexandros. War wirklich überragend. 👍🏻 Ambiente könnte mal modernisiert werden, als einziger, kleiner Kritikpunkt.

Leider enttäuschend! Waren zu einer Feier eingeladen und sind voller Vorfreude in dieses Restaurant gegangen, da es beliebt ist bzw. WAR. Ungewürzte, teils geschmacklose Speisen... Eine der Kellnerinnen versteht es, sich so zu benehmen, dass man nicht wieder kommen möchte...unfreundlich, fast patzig! Daher keine Empfehlung und nie wieder...

Nie wieder... Verdreckte klebrige Tische, die man als Gast noch selbst abwischen muß, man bekommt vom unterirdischen Personal einen Lappen in die Hand gedrückt, nie wieder... Das Essen war essbar. Mehr auch nicht. Das Personal muss man einfangen um bedient zu werden.

Seit Jahren mein Stammgrieche, vom Chef bis zur Kellnerin alle super nett und freundlich, das Essen reichlich und sehr lecker, Sonderwünsche sind nie ein Problem, hundefreundliches Restaurant.

Sehr gut gegessen, Portionen nicht zu groß. Meistens "rollt" man vom Griechen heim, hier alles perfekt. Sehr schmackhaft und trotz Andrang angemessen auf die Speisen gewartet. Gern wieder.

Habe meinen Geburtstag hier gefeiert, im Gästegarten hat allen gut gefallen und das Essen war prima.

Leider fehlte bei vielen Speisen das Salz. Habe in Dresden schon besser griechisch gegessen. Der Preis ist dafür sehr annehmbar.

Haben für einen Sonnabend Abend einen Tisch bestellt. Wir haben draußen gesessen. Ist sehr angenehm, weil man nicht an der Straße sitzt. Das Restaurant befindet sich etwas zurück gesetzt, was sehr angenehm ist. Bieten eine sehr große Auswahl an Speisen und natürlich auch Getränken. Die Bedienung ist immer aufmerksam gewesen hat uns nach eventuellen Wünschen gefragt. Kurz um für uns ein sehr schöner Abend. Preis Leistung ist super. Zu zweit haben wir 56,00 Euro bezahlt. Für Vorspeisen, Getränke und Hauptgerichte ist dass in der heutigen Zeit ( Juli 2023 ) recht Preiswert. Also volle Empfehlung meinerseits. 👍😁👏 Wir kommen wieder.

Typisch deutscher Grieche mit großen Fleischtellern. Man kann angenehm draußen sitzen. Enttäuschend fand ich, das man zum Gyros kein Zaziki bekahm. Gehört für mich dazu!

Das Essen war mäßig bis durchschnittlich, alles sehr fettig. Die Portionen waren okay, davon ist man definitiv satt geworden. Das Personal war hier und da etwas überfordert. Alles in allem würde ich es bei dieser einen Erfahrung belassen.

Ich wollte mich eigentlich in die Mittagssonne setzen, doch eine Mitarbeiterin reinigte gerade mit dem Hochdruckreiniger die Fugen der Außenanlage. Nun war ich der einzige Gast zum Mittag, dennoch dachte ich mir: Ein umsichtiger Gastronom hätte hier der Bedienung gesagt: Lass mal für 30 Minuten sein. Auch drinnen nervte die Maschine letztlich immer noch. Das Essen war ok, aber auch nicht mehr. Am besten fand ich das Gyros, Suflaki war sehr trocken, was ich eigentlich mag, aber hier schon zu sehr. Pommes schätze ich in dünner Variante am meisten, aber das ist ja kein Qualitätsmerkmal, sondern einen persönliche Vorliebe. Letztlich waren die genau richtig richtig gebräunt. Auf dem Tisch stand nur Meersalz, was ich wegen des fischigen Meeresgeschmack nicht mag, aber auf Nachfrage gab es auch "normales" Salz. Enttäuschend waren für mich zwei Dinge: Der Salat war sehr bitter, ohne Feta und auch ohne Weißkraut. Da es auch Speisen von der Mittagskarte gab, ich dennoch eine Platte bestellt hatte, hätte man mir auch einen Ouzo vom Haus bringen können, wenn man einen neuen Kunden ködern möchte. Das war nicht der Fall. So habe ich mich mehrfach als ungebetener Gast gefühlt.

Vom Ambiente her hätte es auch ein Italiener o. Ä. sein können. Eine Fahne und wenige Bilder machen daraus auch keinen Griechen. Es war der erste Grieche bei dem Knoblauch offensichtlich nicht verwendet wird. Bei uns fehlte er zumindest vollständig. Zaziki gehört hier scheinbar nicht zum Gyros dazu-Schade. So war es recht trocken. Wir waren ohnehin auf der Durchreise, so dass sich die Frage einer Wiederholung nicht stellt.

Nur durch internetrecherche entdecktes Restaurant. Sicherlich von der Umgebung und vom Ambiente eher schlicht, jedoch was zählt sind gutes Essen mit reichhaltigen Portionen und sehr guten Preisen.Nette zuvokommende Bedienung.Wirklich zu empfehlen.

Suvlaki trocken und kaum essbar. Haben sehr lange auf die 1. Bestellung gewartet und die Bedienung hat Kritik nicht verstanden aber das war wir Lobten schon ?! Kaum Grichischer Flair.

Das Essen war in Ordnung. Die Bedienung war wenig kommunikativ. Wir haben ziemlich lange auf den Hauptgang gewartet. Da waren die Kinder schon fertig. Die Sanitäranlagen waren sauber, aber auf der Herrentoilette war das Fenster samt Jalousien etwas traurig anzusehen. Es gibt kein vegetarische Hauptspeise, in größeren Runden führt das regelmäßig zu Problemen bei der Essenswahl.

Ganz nett... Speisen ok und zu guten Preisen. Personal bemüht aber mit Sprachproblemen. Ambiente etwas betagt. Parkplätze vorhanden.

Schönes Restaurant mit super Speisen.

Ein sehr freundlicher Service. Die Speisen waren wohlschmeckend. Die Auswahl in der Karte halt typisch für ein griechisches Restaurant. Der Ausstattung des Gastraumes fehlte es m.E. etwas an der gewohnten Gemütlichkeit. Alles in allem, ein doch schöner Besuch.

Wir sind schon seit vielen Jahren hier Stammgast. Das Essen ist lecker und die Portionen angemessen. Wir fühlen uns immer wieder wohl und gut aufgehoben und gehen stets mit vollen Bäuchen Heim. Sehr zu empfehlen!
