Never again! A friend and I ate there and both of our stomachs were off for a week. I have never suffered like this before. We immediately called in the veterinary office. In addition, the entire room was completely filled with smoke due to defective ventilation. If this was just a bad day, then it was the worst a restaurant could have. Most of the reviews are most likely fake. Leave it alone

We always feel comfortable here. Friendly service and super delicious food. The portions are very generous. We often share the main course (number 59 😊). The food is fresh, warm and consistently high quality. Fair prices. Unfortunately only cash payment.

In my opinion, Janni's Taverne has the best gyros in Bonn. The meat is very nicely roasted and cut a little coarser (which I personally like better). This means the meat remains juicy despite being roasted. Sometimes gyros are very oily and therefore feel even heavier in the stomach - that's not the case here. The meat is good and traditionally seasoned. Coarser fries are served as a side dish, which are also fried until crispy. Better than limp, thin fries. You won't find normal white cabbage - instead there is red cabbage, which I think is even better. The tzatziki is a little milder and not overloaded with garlic. Plus red onions as a topping. The portion size is, as befits Greeks, extremely generous! So, if you like to eat gyros and other traditional Greek specialties, then you've come to the right place! =)

We were at the Olive restaurant with 8 people on a Friday evening. The evening was perfect! The food was fresh and very tasty. My favorite is the chicken skewer and the zucchini balls, but all the other dishes were also completely satisfactory. The warm and friendly manner in which we were welcomed and served by the owner made the visit an unforgettable evening.

The food here is simply very tasty 😋 and for me they have the best tzatziki 😋😋. This restaurant is run by a married couple who simply form a very well-coordinated team. I would particularly like to thank the lady of the house at this point highlight because she is a true decoration queen! With a lot of love and time she decorates the guest room to suit every season. Anyone who still likes the charm of the 70's and wants to eat delicious food will fall in love. That's how it was for us and we're always happy to come back!

Everything freshly prepared. The salad is crisp and very fresh with a marinade of olives, lemon and oregano. The meat from the grill is always cooked to perfection. We have never been disappointed. An honest restaurant without a lot of frills, but everything is fresh. Rustic traditional Greek cuisine. The furnishings are solid and functional. The table is thoroughly cleaned after each change of guests. This is about good food. Thank you for the good quality!
