Mykonos Grill Bonn in Bonn

The service was an absolute disaster! On my first visit, the couple behind the counter was quite friendly. I always thought the prices were way too high for what you get, but where else can you get gyros in Bad Godesberg? 😅. Today, the couple completely blew the whistle. Even on my last visit, the couple were fighting and shouting so much that I wanted to leave the place. Today, I thought, okay, go back in, you can treat yourself to a gyro. I walked into the shop and greeted both owners (loudly enough). There was no response. You could see from their faces that the mood was bad again. I just stood in front of the cash register, as usual, to order something. I wasn't noticed or anything else 😅. I thought, well, just wait a minute, if they feel like it, they'll ask if I'd like to order something. Other guests came in, were greeted, and our orders were taken. I was simply left standing there. After the second customer was greeted, and I realized they were deliberately leaving me standing there, I left the store 😅. I don't know what I did to the couple, as they deserved such treatment. Quite the opposite: I often waited 30-45 minutes for my food and told them not to make a fuss, I know it's busy. Even when they started fighting again, I didn't say anything and just waited patiently and listened to the shouting. (Thank God I never understood anything because they were shouting at each other in Greek.) That was definitely my last visit there. I was patient so many times and waited a long time for my food and endured all sorts of unkindness. No one deserves to be treated like that. Maybe I was never able to pay enough for them. The Rüngsdorf clientele is particularly wealthy anyway. I've always just ordered a gyro pita with fries, mayo, ketchup, and onions. They're just customers you can't give a shit about. As I said, the food isn't bad, but it's way too expensive. The poor treatment is just part of the package. That was definitely my last visit. I didn't deserve this kind of treatment. I was always polite, respectful, and patient and put up with the complaining. But apparently they can afford it. And that's a disgusting arrogance that will hopefully come back to haunt them one day!

Friendly, tasty and great quality

The Mykonos Grill feels less like a restaurant to me than a snack bar with outdoor seating. When the two of us arrived, the waitress told us that all the outdoor seating was taken or reserved. Only after intervention (from the manager?) were the tables and chairs set up that hadn't been set up yet. The portions are tasty and plentiful.

Waited 50 minutes for the food. 4 tables ordered after us. 4 tables got their food before us. When I mentioned it, we got our food within 5 minutes. The food was delicious, without a wow factor. They actively handed out ashtrays to selected customers, even though, as far as I know, there is a strict smoking ban in North Rhine-Westphalia, even outside. It bothered our son while he was eating, and it bothered us too. Inexplicably, payment was only possible in cash; the signs were dated. When I wanted to pay, I also had to wait 10 minutes. The young waiter didn't care. Our table was dirty, and no one cleaned it. All in all, a disappointing experience.

We had the Mykonos plate for two people, consisting of two lamb chops, two souvlaki, two turkey steaks, and gyros, served with fries and a fresh salad. Everything was delicious and plentiful. We would especially like to emphasize the friendly staff, who served us warmly. Dogs are also welcome, which is a huge plus for us. We felt completely at home and can highly recommend this restaurant.

The best Greek restaurant in all of Bonn. Everything stinks here, from the food to the ambiance.

Update: Unfortunately you lost a star today because it took almost 30 minutes for the takeaway food to be ready The Mykonos Grill is a small restaurant/snack bar where you can eat in a Greek atmosphere. The gyros I had were very tasty and the meat was simply great. All ingredients look fresh. The restaurant seems very clean and tidy, but I ate out. The service was friendly and nice, and the food was prepared very quickly. I am very satisfied and am happy to have found a restaurant in a world of minced meat kebabs that still serves decent meat.

Delicious food, packed on Fridays and seemingly a neighborhood institution. Gladly again. In the summer it's definitely nice to sit outside at the roundabout with a few beers and good food :)

We passed it and since I didn't feel like cooking we thought we would give it a try. Full 5 stars. Food really very good. Gyros and tzatziki were well seasoned and the tzatziki wasn't as thin as elsewhere. Taramas was great. Moussaka highly recommended Service very nice. Even if it's at the other end of Bonn from us, we'll definitely come back.

Unfortunately the meat was very fatty. The burger slightly burnt. We ordered at 6:15 p.m. (pickup time was about 30 minutes. We were told.) We were there on time, but still had to wait until around 7:35 p.m. Unfortunately, that wasn't the first time we had to wait so long. Too bad...

The location is a mixture of snack bar and restaurant. But that also has its charm at the same time. The service is good, quick, and everyone has a smile. The selection is exciting and the prices are completely reasonable. I had gyros with fries and tzatziki. It was so damn delicious that we went out to eat again the next day. And it won't be the last time.

Unfortunately not as good as it used to be. Unfortunately, the gyro is too dry and tastes very bland. Apparently it is not seasoned. The fries were good. All in all, we won't be buying gyros here again in the future, especially since the prices are now completely exorbitant. In addition, it should now be possible to pay by card everywhere.

Everything is delicious and the price is right.

Prices are pretty steep, but the food is A1. Hence the point deduction. Whether on site or to take away, it's definitely worth it.

We ordered to be picked up, the food wasn't ready yet and we waited another 10 minutes, but it was still hot at home. A very nice location and very, very tasty. Very well attended, which says a lot about the quality. The portions are very large, so the price/performance ratio is perfect!

Apparently under new management. Completely chaotic staff, torn gyros skewer, the two of them are playing around with a gyros pide, scurrying around aimlessly. Gyros was very dry. Fries were OK. Prices extremely increased. I ordered by phone and it was supposed to be ready after 20 minutes, but I still had to wait another 15 minutes. It used to be really good, we enjoyed eating there. Well probably not anymore.

Never had such bad food and service. Unfriendly that it's embarrassing. No more!!!!

I've been a grateful customer and pick-up person at this really excellent snack bar for years. The food is always ready to perfection and the staff is always very friendly. The food in Mykonos was okay for a Greek snack bar. But what didn't work was that we had to wait almost an hour for our fairly simple dishes (gyros, fries, mayonnaise). And this despite the fact that the restaurant was only half full and the meat on the gyros skewer was turning crispy the entire time.

We've been here many times and this is by far the most pleasant service in the area. The food is a bit one-sided, but that's what you choose here at a Greek snack bar. For us it has to be that way and everything fits, in contrast to the many fancy restaurants in the area like Vitus or similar or the strange snob shop right next door where you always wonder why people sit down there (for food certainly not). So thumbs up for the best Greek in the area! 🎉🎉

Very friendly and attentive service, but unfortunately I found the food a bit disappointing. The Bolognese was not well seasoned and the gyros was bland and a bit dry. The meat of the Jägerschnitzel was okay, but the sauce was meaningless and came from a pot... It's a shame, because the shop is very attractive and I would have expected more in the location. But maybe it was just a bad day...

Very nice snack bar with really delicious gyros. Nice service and nicely decorated for a snack, with fresh flowers on the tables and typical Greek music. Important to know, only cash payment possible.

Leckeres Essen kann man vor Ort bestellen, dort essen oder auch vorher anrufen und abholen. Alles wird frisch zubereitet, sehr lecker essen, die Preise sind auch sehr angenehm. Die Besitzer sind sehr freundlich und die Wartezeit ist auch sehr angenehm.

Lecker original griechisches und immer frisches Essen, nette Gastgeber und netter Service. Im Sommer kann man gut draussen sitzen, Ambiente wie in einer kleinen griechischen Taverne. Man kann hier Essen auch telefonisch vorbestellen und zum vereinbarten Termin abholen. Immer wieder gerne.

Habe gut gegessen und getrunken!

Leider nicht mehr das was es Mal war! Wir sind jetzt mehrfach enttäuscht worden. Das Gyrosflisch war sehr trocken und verbrannt, die Tzatziki schmecken stark nach Knoblauch. Die Souflaki haben nach nichts geschmeckt - ich tippe dass es sich hier um gekaufte und aufgetaute Souflakis handelt. Das Fleisch hat perfekte Grillstreifen und leider sehr viel Wasser. Beim Sauerkraut tippe ich ebenfalls auf gekauft. Die Portionen waren vor Corona ebenfalls größer. Das war Mal besser - leider.

Wir gehen immer wieder gerne hin.

Gutes Restaurant, sowohl als Schnellimbiss (to Go) als auch zum gemütlich reinsitzen.

Wer grundsolides griechisches Essen mag kommt hier voll auf seine Kosten. Reichliche Portionen, flotte Zubereitung, evt. Nachbestellungen kommen zügig. Das Ambiente ist schlicht und deswegen ideal für einen gemütlichen Sommerabend mit Freunden oder Freund/in/Ehemann/Frau usw.usf. Ein Mokka als Abschluss ist eine echte Krönung.

Das Gyros war ok, die Fritten Mehlig. Dafür 30€ aufzurufen ist schon echt sportlich. Wenn die Fritten jetzt wirklich goldbraun und knusprig gewesen währen, das Gyros überragend geschmeckt hätte, die Bedienung super nett gewesen wäre, ok. Aber es war einfach Frittenbuden Standard mit einer hecktischen, unpersönlichen Bedienung. Ich hatte schon fast ein schlechtes Gewissen die Menschen mit meiner blöden Bestellung auch noch zu nerven..... Schade!

Also ich kann nur davon abraten nicht nur das man lange auf sein essen warten muss .. nein teilweise ist das Fleisch nicht Mal richtig durch gebraten .. und dann die Preise unmöglich.. 80€ für 4 Portionen essen .. und wenn man sie drauf anspricht das etwas nicht stimmen mit der Rechnung lehnen sie ab und sagen nein das stimmt schon soo !! Das war das erste und letzte Mal das ich dort gegessen habe !! Ich rate jedem ab auch nur ein Fuß in das Lokal zu setzen !!

Update: Haben nun zum zweiten Mal essen zum mitnehmen bestellt und waren leider nicht mehr zufrieden. Das Fleisch war sehr trocken und die Pommes zumindest bei meiner Portion sehr mehlig. Dafür zusammen dann 32,20 € ist schon happig, wenn man bedenkt, dass es eben doch fast Food ist. Vor allem kostet Gyros komplett nach aktueller Karte eigentlich 14,90 €. Mal zwei wären eigentlich 29,80 € - Entweder zwei kleine Kleckse Mayo kosten zusammen 2,40 €, was unverschämt ist, oder ich wurde abgezogen 🤔👍. Das Bild ist die aktuelle Bestellung gewesen. ——— Ursprüngliche Rezension: Preislich etwas teurer als die Konkurrenz, dafür aber auch bisher das leckerste Gyros in Bonn, das ich gegessen habe! Der Laden ist gut besucht, sowohl als Restaurant, als auch Vorbestellungen per Telefon - Beides spricht für die Qualität! Gyros war sehr lecker und ebenso der Krautsalat. Pommes waren teilweise etwas weich, aber ich denke das ist durch den Transport passiert im eigenen Auto, als sich Pommes und Krautsalat mischten. Auf jeden Fall klare Empfehlung! 👍🏻

Gyros ist sehr lecker. Das Tzatziki und der Krautsalat ist Killer. Kann die Pita Römer sehr empfehlen, die ist zusätzlich mit Käse überbacken.

Die Pommes waren früher viel leckerer.Man hat sich wohl für billigere Varianten entschieden. Besonders ärgerlich : Die Preise sind erheblich angestiegen. Wir gehen da nicht mehr hin. Schade !!

Online leider sehr oft keine aktuellen Öffnungszeiten verfügbar. Geschmacklich sehr gut, aber mittlerweile einfach zu teuer! Gyros Spezial überbacken für 15,20€ (zum mitnehmen) gibts woanders für 10,90€. Hauptsächlich zwecks Preisen leider nur noch zwei Sterne.

Sorry, aber woher kommen die Bewertungen! Hab noch nie so schlecht beim Griechen gegessen! Gyros total ungewürzt, Bifteki kommen aus der Tiefkühltruhe! Preisleistung stimmt hier auch überhaupt nicht. Nicht empfehlenswert. Ciao

Ganz ok, eher Imbissqualität jedoch passen die Preise dann nicht dazu und es könnte ein wenig liebevoller angerichtet werden, z.B mit Kräutern.

Während Pandemie das Geschäft öfters mit Essen to go unterstützt. Heute nochmal mein Standardgericht, Gyros, Pommes, Mayonnaise bestellt. Der Preis dafür, 12,60 Euro. Finde ich schon happig. Tzatziki muss wohl extra bestellt, bezahlt werden. Musste zu Hause das Fleisch drüsch essen. Für den Preis hätte ich auch im Restaurant essen können.
