Das Essen war großartig. Die vom Restaurant empfohlenen Vorspeisen und Hauptgerichte haben alle Wünsche unserer Gruppe von 14 Personen mehr als erfüllt. Für Vegetarier war ebenfalls eine große Auswahl dabei. Der Service war sehr gut. Wir kommen gerne wieder und können das Restaurant Olive unbedingt empfehlen.

Auf Empfehlung vom Chef hatten wir eine sehr große Auswahl von Vor- und Hauptspeisen. Das war perfekt und war ein toller Querschnitt durch die Griechische Küche. Sehr gutes Essen, sehr freundliches und engagiertes Personal, nette Atmosphäre.

Nous avions réservé pour 19 h30 et le restaurant était plein, L’accueil étais parfait en anglais. Nous avons très bien mangé plusieurs grillades accompagnées de pommes de terre rissolées et salade de choux et bien sur les spécialités slouviaka d’agneaux délicieux plat grillé avec une bonne bouteille de vin Grecque rien a dire sinon que nous reviendrons certainement. L’amabilité et simplicité du patron nous a touché. Félicitations a eux.

Sehr freundliche Bedienung. Wir hatten sehr leckere, frische Calamares, Souvlaki und Hühnchenspiesse, dazu ein paar Vorspeisen... alles seh lecker. Preislich war alles ebenfalls sehr fair.

We had dinner for two in this place and it was almost full. It's a brasserie type of place and the tables were not covered. The napkins were very thin and paper. Not suitable for dinner or eating in general. We were served very quickly, too quickly. The food was ok and the service lacked table manners. We had a starter which was good and as soon as we finished the main course was served before the table was cleared of the starter dishes. As if that was not enough, we had to keep our cutlery. Next time we're in Bonn, we hope to find a real restaurant with professional manners and staff.

The boss welcomes and says goodbye to each table personally and very warmly, so you immediately feel at home. The starters are best for sharing, one was tastier than the other, we were blown away! The side dishes are all homemade, from the coleslaw to the fries, and the main courses are deliciously seasoned and delicately grilled. The dessert was also so delicious that we almost regretted sharing it. It's super comfortable to sit in, the store is packed and we felt very comfortable!

Very attentive service, ambience ok. Some of the tables were very narrow. The appetizer of stuffed peppers with a little feta didn't convince me and the potatoes in the moussaka were warmed up - unfortunately that's how they tasted. Unfortunately it didn't convince me. The dessert was rich. Greek yogurt with honey and a little walnuts was ok. I know better Greeks in Bonn.

This is honestly the best restaurant in Bonn to have greek food!!! I visited this restaurant literally at the opening hour. There was an uncle there and he was just very kind. We ordered two glasses of wine and had Sutzukakia and Garides mit olivenol. He gave us a chicken vermicelli soup which we hadn’t ordered, and that literally tasted the best. The shrimps in the butter bath was just exquisite. The mix of butter and herbs was absolutely delicious. And the meatballs, oh my god, I’ve never had anything more delicious than those meatballs. An amazing place for food and the best service. Even though there was a language barrier, the uncle was very welcoming and helped us understand the menu. I couldn’t stop gushing about this place. :)

Very nice and above all authentic Greek restaurant with good food and friendly service. Can be very crowded - which is a sign of quality. The lamb skewers were delicious.

Huiiii, what can I say, where do I start? I had reserved the table four days ago with the question and request to decorate the table a little festively if possible for my mother's 65th birthday. It was very willingly agreed!!! We came in UUUNNNDDD no festive table...a shame! Now we drove an extra 1.5 hours to dine in this excellently rated restaurant... The starters were very mediocre and unseasoned. The main courses... my bifteki was okay, but not outstanding, my husband had lamb chops that looked like pork belly and really didn't taste good, unfortunately the birthday boy had a really tough beef liver... Afterwards our dessert came, unfortunately the plates from the main course were NOT cleared away and we had to stack something to make room for the dessert... and the puff pastry filled with white semolina, tasted good, but seemed limp in terms of consistency, puff pastry and filling Soggy. The waiter was friendly, but he could have cleared our table. In general, the restaurant seemed in need of renovation and needed some cleaning. There were dead beetles in the large glass vase with the wine and beer corks... waste of time and money!!! No recommendation from us

Small authentic Greek restaurant, which is highly recommended. Spent a few hours in Bonn and had a very good meal here. Short waiting times, delicious food and very friendly and attentive service - the lentil soup as a starter is on the house at lunchtime - we'll be happy to come back!

Very good and tasty food. However, the room was so tightly packed with tables that it became uncomfortable and simply too loud for a pleasant conversation.

Finally delicious Greek food! We recommend the lemon pork which was well cooked, soft and juicy!!! With nice baked potatoes!!! we enjoyed delicious pumpkin meatballs and at the end velvety semolina halva with cinnamon!!! Highly recommend, you'd better make a reservation!!

The food was ok. In the group we had pork skewers with fries, bifteki and also a vegetarian dish. Meat was ok, fries too, but definitely not "homemade" as it says on the menu. Taste ok. The salad from the vegetarian dish was just the very simple side salad in a larger portion. But the plates were a bit carelessly prepared. The service was rushed and slow. Ok, the restaurant was also very full, the noise level was very high, it was difficult to have a conversation. Two more fun facts: There were around 100 small flies on the wall next to the counter. In front of the counter, two meters from our table, the leftover food was thrown into a waste bin with a lid. We've never seen anything like this in a restaurant. In the summer on a hot day I imagine it to be very interesting in terms of smell. We wouldn't come again. In our small hometown in Siegburg alone, about 10km away, there are three much better Greeks.

Relaxed atmosphere and delicious food

Tasty and inexpensive, myth on tap. Sometimes, when the restaurant and terrace are full, there are moderate waiting times, the owner is the waiter himself and is no longer the youngest. Understandable.

Food was okay, but there was hardly any vegetarian choice (only 2 dishes, the omelette had a leftover feel). Service was very friendly but incredibly inattentive and slow. You wait forever for the bill.

A piece of Greece in the middle of the city! I had the pleasure of enjoying a wonderful meal at this restaurant that took me straight back to my childhood. The rabbit I ordered was simply delicious and tasted just as good as my grandma's - tender, juicy and perfectly seasoned. You can tell that the cooking here is done with a lot of love and tradition. The service was also excellent. The waiters were extremely friendly and attentive without being intrusive. I found the little touches particularly nice: both at the beginning and at the end of our visit there was a greeting from the kitchen, which rounded off the evening perfectly. If you're looking for authentic Greek cuisine and warm hospitality, this is the place for you. I'll definitely be back!

Ate there today at 4 p.m. for two. We were happy not to be seated at a 70x70 mini table for 2, but rather to be given a table for 4 in the back area. The restaurant was only half full. While we waited 20 minutes for the menu on the shabby upholstered bench, we had time to count the many flies on the grubby wall and enjoy the dried gypsophila in the cloudy broth of the muddy table vase. Finally, a delicious noodle soup with cinnamon flavor came out of the kitchen as a greeting. The really good wines (almost all open at €6/0.25) finally arrived: we're at minute 45. Lamb fillet skewers (24.90) were only lukewarm, the lamb fillet was not properly pared (stringy) and just about lukewarm, it had probably been waiting for the waiter in the kitchen for that long. The beef liver (€14.90) was tough. After a long wait to be able to order, we drank 2 other wines and left the now full restaurant and its overwhelmed service (4 service staff) at 6:30 p.m.

The atmosphere was great and the staff were really nice! The food was also great.

The chicken was grilled perfectly, but unfortunately there weren't enough potatoes. The service felt very warm but also quite assertive and we ended up being forced to have cake on the house even though we specifically said no.

If it were a Greek snack bar with snack prices, then there would be absolutely nothing wrong with it - but it is a restaurant with restaurant prices. We were therefore very disappointed with the size of the portions and the careless presentation. Everything tasted ok, but if e.g. If homemade fries are listed separately on the menu, then I expect homemade ones too - even deep-fried frozen fries don't count as such in my opinion 😉 All in all, you can have a good meal there, but you shouldn't expect that - the price-performance ratio just doesn't fit 🍟🥩🥗🍺🇬🇷

Today we were here for the first time and it was really authentic Greek food. Truly the best Greek restaurant in this country that we have been to so far. Since our vacation in Greece, we have been reluctant to go out for Greek food in Germany because we were always disappointed. The search is over :-) we will definitely be back and have found our new favorite Greek restaurant. Thank you for this great Greek hospitality!

We spontaneously went to eat in this beautiful Greek restaurant. The service was very friendly and accommodating. We ate chicken souvlaki with homemade fries and grilled mackerel. The boss quickly filleted the mackerel for us at the table. Both dishes were very tasty. As a starter we had homemade bread and tirokafteri (cheese cream). As a greeting from the kitchen we were served a small Greek pasta salad, very delicious. An all-round successful evening.

We were there on a Sunday evening two weeks ago, nice table outside, unfortunately with a view of the construction site down the street, but this wonderful restaurant can't help that. Great food that speaks for itself! Not the "Gyroplatte Athens" with coleslaw from the metro and over-salted fries made from the frying fat from 3 weeks ago. You don't get a greeting from the kitchen everywhere anymore. But here it is! The service is great and it's just fun to see how the team works. Of course, including loud conversations in Greek that we guests don't understand. That's part of it! But people are rushing around, serving dishes, clearing away, mopping... at a speed and with such ease... crazy! We have to go back, simply because we have forgotten to take photos of the food for a review every time. But hey, no wonder given the atmosphere!

The staff in the restaurant is very friendly, attentive and nice. It is an authentic Greek restaurant, the food is very tasty. I took a grilled sea bream, the best I've eaten this year. Highly recommended.

Went for dinner with two friends today around 5 p.m. The boss and his employees were very friendly. I was also able to use my little vocabulary of the Greek language, which the boss happily responded to. The food was great. Pastitsio was a hit. The greeting from the kitchen, a small salad, was also great. There was nothing to complain about. We felt like we were in Greece and will come back.

Well, it was okay but we wouldn't come back for dinner again. Because 1. we waited 50 minutes for 2 dishes, 2. there were only a handful of fries, 3. it was carelessly prepared, 4. the waiter doesn't speak German, 5. we didn't feel comfortable.

The place is super pleasant and the food is very good. The waitress is a very kind and welcoming lady.

We were warmly welcomed at 11:15 p.m. and were served a very tasty meal, typically Greek, various meze. Absolutely recommended.

We were so glad we were able to eat here at 10pm on Wednesday. None of the restaurants in the area offer this. The service was great, very friendly, helpful, polite, with welcome gifts, short waiting times. The atmosphere is also incredible. There are several Greek restaurants in the area, but the best quality food can only be found here! We tried lamb skewers and chicken skewers and it was very tasty. So 100/100, definitely my recommendation!

I thought it was worth a visit because of the positive reviews. First of all, we had a waiter who couldn't speak a word of German, so we had to order in English... I ate a bifteki there, the portion was very lean, the size of the plate was the same as a breakfast plate. The whole thing for 17.50 euros. Beer 0.3l for 4.50 euros is also a strong piece. Bifteki was ok in taste, fries were more than lacking in quality. At the end of my visit I had to ask for a bill 3 times until it came after about 20 minutes. Given the prices and quality, you can expect much more. I also wonder where most people have been to eat so far given the reviews that have been given here. In my opinion it's not worth a visit because the price performance is simply not right.

A very nice and quiet place. You “escape” the chaos of the city center and end up in a beautiful, quiet outdoor area that is reminiscent of a beautiful terrace (on vacation) and invites you to relax. The food was more than good. The shrimp and zucchini fritters were amazing as a starter. For the main course we had the dandelion salad and the pasta casserole with minced beef. There was nothing to complain about and we will definitely come back 😊 The staff is friendly and attentive.

We got little extra dishes by the very friendly stuff/ manager, which have been delicious.

We discover it late night, and I admit that it is one of the best place in Bonn to dine. If you love traditional Greek dishes, certainly for for that option. The place is quite cosy and the atmosphere is pretty friendly that you can feel that you are at home.

Good Greek cuisine, a must-have every time you visit Bonn. Very pleasant terrace in good weather. Better to book.

Best Greek restaurant ever... I've never had such delicious food, and the service was impeccable. If I lived here I would go every week, for sure! It's a shame I didn't take photos but the shrimp, moussaka and lamb skewer are sensational, I recommend them!

There were two of us in the beautifully located restaurant and we got a table despite the good number of visitors. The boss of the house did an excellent job of providing us with drinks and delicious food, my bifteki was extremely tasty and juicy, the fries were homemade. Since everything was more than good, this wasn't the last visit and therefore a clear recommendation!

The restaurant is in a nice, quiet location and has wonderful outdoor seating. The owner is very accommodating. Overall we were satisfied with the food, although the calamari could have been a little softer and the potatoes a little crispier. However, the wine is absolutely recommended, regardless of whether it is white or red.

There were 4 of us and we chose a different dish, we ate from each other's plates and everyone found it delicious.

We ordered online and the order was simply canceled 5 minutes before the delivery date. Accordingly, we waited for almost an hour in vain and had to order again somewhere else and wait again. Really sickening!!!

We were very pleased with the attention and generosity that we received soup on the house as a starter. The seating options, both indoors and outdoors, are pleasant and inviting. The highlight of our evening were the lamb chops, which were excellently prepared and very tasty. We also really enjoyed the homemade fries. Unfortunately, the baked potatoes were a bit disappointing as they were too small - larger potatoes would have been desirable. The service was very nice and accommodating.

Heard a lot about it. Finally tried it out myself two days ago. Very friendly welcome from the owner. He has the rare name "Ioulianos" and comes from the island of Naxos. Now about the food. There were three of us. Starters: Dakos, fried zucchini balls and red pointed peppers stuffed with feta. Dakos is a specialty from Crete Tomato, fresh herbs, feta, olives, capers and Olive oil on half a rusk barley roll. The Cretan alternative to the Greek farmer's salad. The fried zucchini balls are served with some tzatziki. The stuffed red pointed peppers with feta cheese were very well combined with olive oil and balsamic vinegar. The starters included home-baked, lightly toasted white bread. Skin dishes: Calamares, minced meatballs from the oven and a grilled mackerel. All served with delicious baked potatoes on the side. Our conclusion: Beautiful presentation, authentic recipes made from high-quality, fresh ingredients; And the most important thing: really Greek delicious! Absolutely recommended

The food and service were really great, especially the fries were delicious. The only minor flaw is the ambience. Sitting outside was okay, but nothing more.

Unfortunately I can't recommend this Greek place any further. During service we had to remember to get the drinks. The appetizers were already there and the drinks weren't yet. Unfortunately the food (grilled plate) was mediocre and we won't be back. But there are so many better Greeks in Bonn.

Extremely hospitable, warm staff. A restaurant as it should be: A delicious greeting from the kitchen, the current daily menu is explained verbally, the dishes are very, very tasty and the price is completely reasonable, and at the end there is something sweet on the house... In summer you can do wonderful things Sit outside in a great atmosphere. An absolute recommendation and now my favorite restaurant in Bonn!

An authentic Greek host. Seat on the walls of St. Remigius Church. A soup came from the kitchen as a greeting - I really liked it. The food was very good, the service was quick and attentive. A nice evening.

A short visit to Greece. The food is very tasty and reasonable prices - the staff is very friendly and nice. It's just a shame that it takes a long time for everything to roll, it's probably due to the lack of controls and the fact that you have to do everything with three people. You are compensated for this with good food and everything was fine. We will come back!

A small restaurant inside with a great outdoor seating area under trees. The food is prepared with love - the calamari was buttery tender. However, if you're expecting gyros, this isn't the place for you - they also serve lemon thyme chicken and more traditional dishes. A recommendation to anyone who would like to eat something different from Greek and would like to try other dishes on a smaller menu, for example mackerel. The service is super friendly and attentive. I'd love to come back when I'm in Bonn.

The grilled sea bream is super good! I recommend it! The attention and atmosphere very good. The fish is already half eaten but it was so appetizing that we couldn't contain ourselves.

Were there as a family. Friendly but overwhelmed service, the first drinks took forever, then food was ordered. After we had already eaten at other tables who came after us, we complained twice. Then the food came with the explanation “Bifteki takes so long to make” with the underlying assumption that we just had no idea. (Waited 50 minutes before eating). The truth is probably that one of our meals was forgotten, which is why the great bifteki were unfortunately cold and tough. I've been to Greece several times and know how it's prepared and what it tastes like. The order also didn't arrive correctly, for example Ordered without a potato side dish and just wanted more salad but the potato wedges were still on my plate. What does the boss do after a complaint: He comes to the table with a large spoon and shovels my side dish onto our older son's plate without asking him if he even wants it, which caused us great surprise. Everyone makes mistakes sometimes and it wouldn't have been a problem if they had said it, but if someone tries to make fun of me and assumes that I have no idea then I get really angry. It also only tasted average. We actually didn't want to eat there at all, but were just passing by when the boss, like a bouncer, lured us from the street with the absolutely traditional Greek cuisine and said that we weren't as much of an Acropolis plate shop as elsewhere. Well, that's probably true because so far it has tasted better at every other Greek place. When paying, the boss wanted to make the weather nice again because it was of course fully clear to him that from start to finish, from the endless waiting to the wrong food, only mistakes were made, but there I didn't feel like discussing it anymore so as not to ruin my day even further. I can only advise against a visit here, it was nothing. Update: Apparently an attempt was made to have the review deleted, I hereby confirm once again that the whole thing happened exactly as described. What is this censorship about? Instead of trying to clear your name online, it's better to improve your service.

The boss is super friendly. Food super tasty and good price. You feel comfortable and welcome. Terrace great in summer.

Nice hosts, good value for money and a homely atmosphere. When we visited on a Wednesday evening, all the seats were occupied and the background noise was correspondingly high. But it didn't matter, you felt like you were in the south. Clear recommendation from us 👍.

The “bread” in the starter doesn’t have much to do with bread, but the olives are delicious, as are the meat dishes. The side dishes were very disappointing in terms of quantity. I expect a different price-performance ratio.

I ordered a normally wonderfully delicious eggplant dish from Olive Imam via Lieferando. What did I get? A burnt eggplant, carelessly mixed together in an aluminum container, therefore not very attractive and quite greasy. I would therefore strongly consider ordering there again. I rated the service 5 points because it was delivered very punctually via Liederando and was also hot. I think this restaurant may have just had a bad day and can definitely do better. However, this has absolutely not been proven today and hence my criticism.
