Armonia in Bonn

We were in the area with friends on Sunday and wanted to try the restaurant. The food was delicious and we were thrilled. The prices are really fair – you'd definitely pay twice as much for the same dishes in Cologne. Pleasant, friendly atmosphere – we'll gladly come back!

A wonderful evening! Very nice and carefully selected dishes. Very friendly and welcoming service. The new menu is impressive, and the daily specials are definitely worth checking out! You can tell the kitchen staff is experienced and everyone is passionate about their work. I'm looking forward to my next visit.

We had a delicious meal here – fresh ingredients, creative and lovingly prepared dishes! We were very pleasantly surprised by the new menu and learned that there's a new owner. The atmosphere is warm and we felt very comfortable. You can tell that quality is important here. We'll definitely be back! 🍷🍽️

After waiting 20 minutes to finally be served, even though the place was barely busy, we realized that the owner had been at his table with his regulars the entire time. When he got up, he still didn't feel the need to serve us and disappeared into the restaurant. When I confronted him, there was no apology. Other guests who arrived after us were also ignored and had to make themselves known in the restaurant. That's not how you gain new regulars!

The menu could be expanded, but our selection was very good, the service was excellent, and the Greek mocha was amazing. We'll be back often.

For me, Armonia is the best restaurant far and wide and my first stop whenever I'm back in my hometown of Bonn. Excellent food made from exclusively fresh ingredients, friendly, attentive service, a great Greek wine selection at fair prices, and the fantastic chef could easily become a sommelier in his next life, he knows his products so well. He's also super flexible, engaging, sophisticated, and authentic. That's how it should be. Furthermore, the value for money is excellent for what's on offer, and the restaurant in no way deserves to be compared to the run-of-the-mill Greek restaurants around the corner (which are by no means bad either). Armonia is a truly fantastic restaurant with creative, fresh cuisine, a love of culinary experimentation, select drinks, and a 100% recommendation. A real ray of hope in an increasingly gray and dreary Bonn dining landscape! We're already looking forward to our next visit!

Great food, a different kind of Greek. You put together your own meal and side dish (not something to gorge yourself on, more something to savor). The taste was excellent, and the service was super friendly. I'd be happy to come back.

The best restaurant in all of Hardtberg, also with the most tasteful decor and beautiful photographs on the walls. I've already despaired of the rampant lack of taste in this part of town. All the more sensational is the intelligent attention to detail with which the food is cooked here for very reasonable prices. They even granted my special request for appetizers-:) To be honest, this was the first time I've eaten well and cheaply in Bonn. Addendum a while later: the prices have risen enormously, and the selection of appetizers has become smaller. I only recommend going to Cologne for dinner now. There are almost 20 excellent Greek restaurants there, many of which are even more affordable, and one of them, cleverly, even offers a very fine pikilia.

Super delicious food in a very nice atmosphere. The best Greek food outside of Greece! Worth every euro. But be sure to make a reservation!

Well, that was truly a surprise! While we've always known most Greek restaurants to be meat- and fries-heavy, here you can take the label "fine Greek cuisine" seriously. Everything that comes out of the kitchen not only looks good, but tastes truly delicious. Plus, surprisingly good Greek wines. And excellent service! We'll be back...

Simply brilliant! We visited "Armonia" for the first time yesterday and were absolutely thrilled. It's a beautiful restaurant with a large, inviting terrace – right in the pedestrian zone of Bonn-Duisdorf. The food is a dream: creatively and modernly interpreted Greek dishes that taste simply divine. There's a large selection of good Greek wines and Mythos beer on tap. The staff is unfailingly friendly and accommodating, and the owner is a nice, cultured guy who also takes the time to chat with his guests. As a Greek, I've visited many good Greek restaurants – but "Armonia" is definitely in a different league. A clear, unreserved recommendation – and not just for fans of Greek cuisine!

For a restaurant, the selection is really meager. No gyros or Athena platter. You order the side dishes separately. I don't think that's unusual. I just missed the Greek atmosphere. Maybe it should change its name; it gives off more of a German feel. The service was very friendly, and the quality of the food was great. You just don't get the usual Greek food there. That's why it's not a full 5 stars.

A truly recommendable restaurant. If you're ready to be inspired by top-quality delicacies, this is the place for you. Add to that the host, who encourages all guests to spend a wonderful evening together. Whether it's with wine or food recommendations, it's simply superb.

Once again, an absolute delight; both the food and the service were impressive. We received a friendly welcome, and the staff's recommendations perfectly matched our tastes. The quality of the delicious dishes and the friendly staff made this restaurant visit a special occasion. The prices are also absolutely justified. Good quality comes at a price, and the quality of the food stands out. The meat was not at all dry, but tender and perfectly seasoned. I can recommend this restaurant to anyone who appreciates good taste. The fish is particularly outstanding. The ample parking options make the restaurant suitable even for those who have a longer commute.

Basically, I have to say that the food tasted good. The ingredients were fresh and it tasted delicious. However, I have to be honest and say that the value for money is not good. €11.90 for three small skewers, really small and a rather cute size for a Greek restaurant, is truly not good. On top of that, everything has to be ordered separately, and then all the side dishes cost a lot of money. That can easily add up to over €120 for a small family. Quite a stretch for a trip to a Greek restaurant. This restaurant is not a classic Greek restaurant, with a decent grilled dish or good skewers. Conclusion: Good taste, very high prices, but not particularly special.

I'd like to give it five stars because the quality and taste of the food are excellent. From what I understand, everything is fresh. My problem, however, is the portion size. The lamb cutlets for around €17 (without a side dish!) are nothing more than a bite to eat. Adding rosemary potatoes for €5 just about fills you up, but you don't get much of a taste of the lamb. Of course, lamb has its price—I'd happily pay a little more if I didn't get such a meager portion. The service is also good, in my opinion. The service is friendly and attentive. I'd be happy to come back—but not for the cutlets.

Very typical Greek cuisine with special refinements on the daily menu

For me the best Greek in Bonn. No gyros, no overloaded meat platters but authentic Greek little things, just as good as you get in a good seaside tavern. Plus a Mythos in an iced glass from the tap and then a delicious ouzo - an evening of pure vacation! Thanks!

We had a wonderful evening at Armonia in Duisdorf! The food was simply fantastic, especially the Greek farmer's salad, the sesame-coated feta, the fried zucchini with tzatziki, and the fried potato slices. Everything was fresh, prepared with love, and incredibly delicious. Plus, the super friendly service and a cozy atmosphere! We'd definitely be back! One of the best Greek restaurants in Bonn. If you're looking for gigantic mountains of meat, the typical smell of French fries and a snack bar feel, you've definitely come to the wrong place. The food is of high quality, the selection is good and the service is excellent. Worth knowing for the first-time visitor: Fish, meat, vegetarian does not necessarily come with a side dish (e.g. rice). This will be listed and ordered separately. We are already looking forward to our next visit!

It's a shame we had a bad experience this time. We originally wanted to celebrate our birthday but left after the appetizers. We've been here before when the service was better, but today it was slow and relatively chaotic. After his inquiry, I explained to the owner why the Melitzanosalata was blander than expected, but the friendly and honest criticism was not taken seriously. He said there was something different with my taste and "the customers love that." It's a shame because I liked the restaurant in the past. Addition: When we arrived, I also tried to ask if we could sit at a table under the awnings but the owner's answer was: "No! I told you, a two table! We're full!" As a customer you don't have to suffer such arrogance.

If I were only to rate the food, especially the price-performance ratio, it would be a solid 5 stars. Everything was very good, from the fava pueree to the blanched dandelion and the calamari salad to the grilled lamb and octopus. However... The service is friendly, but totally rushed, also because the boss forgets one or two things and, as on our last visits, there are simply not enough staff in the service. This circumstance meant that I was often distracted from eating due to the stress of the staff.

Were here for the first time. Unfortunately service was really slow and inattentive. We waited 40 minutes for our order to be taken. Another 40 minutes for the meal. The taste of the food was great 👍 Portions but more for in between 😅 (really small) Portion size and service can be improved.

Wir kommen in großen Abständen immer mal wieder ins Armonia. Meistens zu zweit, ab und zu viert. Oder 4 Erwachsene, 2 Kinder. Hier passt einfach alles. Küche, Service und Ambiente sind Spitze, der Inhaber ein sehr sympathischer und emphatischer Gastgeber. Aktuell waren wir als Gruppe, bestehend aus 14 Erwachsenen und 2 Kindern, bei Saki und seinem Team. Die Vorspeisen wurden ohne konkrete Bestellung serviert, wir lieben es eine große Auswahl zu haben und vieles probieren zu können. Alles köstlich. Die Hauptspeisen wurden a la Card bestellt. Und, fast unglaublich, nahezu zeitgleich serviert. Bei 26 Gästen der Hammer! Größe des Küchen-Team: 2! Geschmack und Qualität der Speisen einfach spitzenmäßig. Vielen Dank.

An excellent, authentic, but not typical (as we usually know it) Greek restaurant. There is no gyro, but that's not a bad thing at all. The dishes are served as “tapas”. We tried our way through the various delicacies, whether fried zucchini and potato slices, tzatziki, baby shrimp, souvlaki, etc., everything was very tasty, fresh and appetizingly prepared. We were there with 8 people and received friendly service. Luckily we had a reservation because it was full. All in all very recommendable!

We have been to Armonia several times now and have always been very satisfied. Although we weren't fans of traditional Greek cuisine, we became fans of FINE Greek cuisine here ☺️! The dishes were very harmonious and served in a visually appealing way. The boss is unique, very quick, friendly and strong in service. By the way, Armonia means harmony (actually comes from Greek!). Name fits 👍🏼

Mein Sohn lebt in Bonn und hat mich vor ca. einem Jahr in da Armonia eingeladen. Was soll man viel sagen… Jedes Mal wenn ich wieder da bin, MUSS ich ins Armonia!!! Es gibt KEINE großen Fleischplatten und keine Gyros. Hervorragende Tapas, ich komme z.B. nicht an den Baby calamari und an den Garnelen in Knoblauchsauce vorbei. Mein Sohn schwärmt immer von den abwechslungsreichen Tages/Wochenangeboten.

My son lives in Bonn and invited me to da Armonia about a year ago. What much can you say... Every time I go back I HAVE to go to Armonia!!! There are NO large meat platters and no gyros. Excellent tapas, for example I can't go past the baby calamari and the prawns in garlic sauce. My son always raves about the varied daily/weekly offerings.

Delicious authentic food. Dishes that you don't usually find at "Greeks". Grouper, fresh and grilled to perfection. Kid from the oven, tender and juicy. Reasonable prices, nice service. Accordingly, it is well attended, so reservations are recommended. Not for a romantic date because of the background noise, but the food “kills it”. We'd love to come back!

Update from March 14, 2024 For me it's still by far the best Greek in the Cologne-Bonn area. The prices have gone up a bit, but I think the portions have become a bit larger compared to before. Some other restaurateurs who increase prices and at the same time reduce portions can take a lesson from this. Grilled octopus and moussaka are still mandatory for me. Yesterday I went to Armonia again with my mother after a long time. The food is great, the moussaka, for example, is a sensation and is unlikely to be served in any other Greek restaurant in the Cologne-Bonn area. I tend to suck the moussaka down greedily like ice cream. Sooooooooo delicious. The grape leaves, served lukewarm, are also a delight. The dish of the day, pulpo with spinach and black chickpeas, was also quite excellent. The service is also quick, attentive and professional. And the boss, who is always present but never intrusive and is not above service, simply has his shop under control. Even if the restaurant is packed, like yesterday. The Duisdorf pedestrian zone alone, in which the Armonia is located, is, well, a bit special and does not exude a romantic Capri atmosphere or the aura of a charming old town alley. At least you get authentic Duisdorf pedestrian zone flair. But it's not all that bad, as the food at Armonia is really fantastic. In my mind the next moussaka has already been ordered...

Griechisch im wahrsten Sinne! Sehr gut, zum Glück ohne Hellas-Platte oder Mykonos-Teller. Essen wie Gott in Frankreich? Nein, wie Zeus auf dem Olymp. Wir fahren extra von Neuss nach Bonn, weil es sich lohnt. Ehrliche griechische Küche, sehr lecker, kein Firlefanz, große Auswahl guter Weine. Sehr guter Service. Das Armonia ist meistens bis auf den letzten Platz ausgebucht, das bedingt eine zum Teil heftige Geräuschkulisse. Saki, der Inhaber, ist ein perfekter Gastgeber, dessen Gastfreundschaft wir immer wieder gerne in Anspruch nehmen.

Seit Jahren gehen wir mit unserer Firma immer mal wieder in das Restaurant Armonia. Gestern gab es unser Weihnachtsessen dort. Es gab wie immer für uns keine Karte, sondern nur kulinarische Empfehlungen von Saki, dem Chef, und seinem äußerst angenehmen Team. Griechische Gastfreundschaft wird hier groß geschrieben, und alle Geschmäcker finden hier nicht nur "etwas", sondern stets eine große Auswahl an Köstlichkeiten. Von allen Kollegen ein großes Dankeschön! Σας ευχαριστώ πολύ!

Perfect restaurant and good host

Unfortunately it has slowed down a lot. Service, quality, cleanliness and especially friendliness. I've probably eaten there 5-6 times. Unfortunately, it no longer seems to be a matter close to the operator's heart. The store also looks increasingly in need of renovation. The “locations” in particular should be put in order from a technical point of view. It's also a shame that the dishes no longer have anything to do with what was offered at the beginning. The prices now seem far too high for what is on offer. In short, the charm that the restaurant once had has largely disappeared...

Das Essen war sehr lecker und mit Liebe und Sorgfalt gemacht. Der Service war großartig. Obwohl es sehr voll war, haben wir keine Hektik gespürt und sowohl hinsichtlich des Essens als auch der Getränke tolle Empfehlungen bekommen. Der Nachtisch war dann das Tüpfelchen auf dem "i". Absolute Empfehlung.

Wir waren jetzt dreimal da seit der Neueröffnung. Der Chef ist sehr nett und das Essen ist sehr lecker! Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmt auch. Man kann sehr schön draußen sitzen. Reservieren macht Sinn! Beim ersten und zweiten Besuch waren wir von der Bedienung nicht begeistert. Sie sollte etwas freundlicher sein. Jetzt ist hier eine Bedienung, die auf Zack ist! Das Restaurant kann stolz auf seine Küche sein!

Restaurant sieht gut aus, aber wie in einigen Kommentaren schon beschrieben handelt es sich um tapas ohne Beilage oder sonstiges. Wenn man das nicht sofort versteht summiert sich dann alles recht zügig zu einem Restaurant mit kleinen Portionen und teurem Geld.

Wir hatten einen tollen Abend mit wirklich gutem Essen. Griechisch mal komplett anders. Nicht günstig aber jeden Cent wert. Vielen Dank für die überaus freundliche Bedienung und Beratung zu den einzelnen Gerichten. Es wurde sich Zeit genommen, alle Fragen zu beantworten und man fühlte sich sehr willkommen, obwohl das Restaurant rappelvoll war! Ihr solltet auf alle Fälle einen Tisch reservieren. Sehr zu empfehlen ist auch der weisse Hauswein. Wir sind gut gesättigt und nach einem abschließenden Espresso, der ebenfalls exzellent war, wieder nach Hause. Das war nicht unser letzter Besuch da. Beide Daumen nach oben

Super nette aufmerksame Bedienung. Das Essen ist ein Traum...absolut empfehlenswert: Spinatknödel; auch der Haus-Rotwein ist top.

Sehr feine griechische Küche in nettem Ambiente vorallem draussen.

Super lecker gegessen, der etwas andere Grieche. Hier gibt es komplette Gerichte, als auch einzelne Tapas, sowie man es vom Spanier kennt, halt eben nur auf griechische Art. Man kann drinnen oder draußen sitzen. Der Service war perfekt. Obwohl sehr gut besucht, kam das Essen in nur wenigen Minuten. Wir kommen ganz bestimmt wieder.

Nichts wenn man Hunger hat. Fast 2h auf das Essen gewartet. Vorspeise mit Hauptgang bekommen, weil vorher vergessen wurde. Portionen nicht so wie man es von einem griechischen Restaurant kennt. Sorry geht gar nicht.

Schon mehrfach im Armonia essen gewesen. Die Qualität der Speisen ist durchweg als sehr gut zu bezeichnen. Das Personal freundlich, jedoch teilweise zu langsam. Dennoch ist dieses Restaurant eine klare Empfehlung wert.

Wer hier den „klassischen“ Griechen mit der Athen Platte sucht, ist falsch. Im Armonia gibt es exzellente Qualität und sehr guten Service.

Il est assez paradoxal de manger dans un restaurant grec en Allemagne , ce dernier est semi -gastronomique . Il a une notoriété nationale . Pas de mot c’est succulent . Voir photos Les feuilles de vigne sont exceptionnelles faites à la main Le poulpe grillé je ne trouve mot Le yaourt à la grec idem Bref à Bonn n’ hésitez pas .

Best Greek restaurant all around. Absolutely fantastic experience. One round of small dishes and one round of main course and a bit of dessert paired with a wine recommended. The owner is fantastic, all dishes taste wonderful, and you are taken care of all evening. The place is very full, so it is recommended to reserve a table a couple of days ahead.
