We were there for the first time yesterday and were very pleasantly surprised by the excellent cuisine and the food we were served. We will definitely eat here again. The food was truly fantastic.

Fish is not recommended, and the meat is often very fatty. Otherwise, the fries are decent, the salad is tasty, and the appetizers are good. The service is friendly, but a bit forced.

We had a wonderful evening for two at Elliniko. We thoroughly enjoyed the delicious, crispy gyros with fries. Greek draft beer, wine, and ouzo, all at fair prices, contributed to the perfect dining experience. A small, charming taverna with very attentive and friendly service (the owner's daughter). We sincerely thank them for their Greek hospitality.

Was on my way to Frankfurt airport, around 9:30pm and got hungry. Found this Greek restaurant so decided to give it a try. Was not disappointed. Got greeted and seated within a minute. Food arrived really quick (note: was pretty empty at the time). Quick with a refill of my drink too. I didn’t read the sign on the door that there was an issue with card payments. We managed to resolve it by using PayPal, ensuring I could eat my dinner without any issues. Food was delicious and great portion size.

An absolute insider tip, with one of the best Greek restaurants in Bonn. During our visit, we received very courteous service, and our food arrived within minutes, even though the place was very busy at the time of our visit. Definitely worthy of 5 stars!

If you don't have to wait 90 minutes for your food, it's okay. Unfortunately, it's often chaotic. The food is good, though.

Chicken skewers, tzatziki, fries, salad (€14 on menu no. 66) Seen on the menu for next time: Chicken skewer with gyro, tzatziki, fries, salad (€17 on menu no. 66a) Ordered for takeout. Wait time about 15 minutes, perfectly fine for a spontaneous visit. The two chicken skewers were very tasty and fresh off the grill, very lean, tender meat and well-seasoned, a sufficient portion for me. The tzatziki was refreshing and not overpowered with garlic, very tasty with cucumber pieces. A good portion of salad (coleslaw, green salad, tomato, pepperoni...) was lacking nothing. Fried or large potato sticks, presumably homemade, well-seasoned. All in all, a very small, cozy tavern with tables for two inside and larger tables under a gazebo outside. If you like it simple but cozy without a lot of frills, this is the place for you. The service is friendly, and the ambiance and Greek music are reminiscent of a small tavern on a Greek vacation. The tavern was busy, the food and drinks on the tables looked delicious, and the guests seemed happy and in a good mood. My food was very well packaged and arrived warm.

A simple restaurant, but sitting outside and enjoying great food are great. I absolutely love the roasted aromas from the charcoal grill, but I also like the fries, and I'm always happy about the white cabbage salad that usually comes with it.

After finding two Greek restaurants closed, I remembered the Elliniko Taverna. We wanted to order takeout. We called quickly and ordered. We drove there and, despite the full place, only waited 10 minutes. The food was still very hot despite the drive home. The classic gyro, the complete gyro, was so delicious, even though it was takeout ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐. Next time, we'll eat there and order something from the delightfully readable menu. THANK YOU

Very good classic Greek food with friendly and fast service. Outdoor seating is very pleasant in the summer, but the interior is a bit cramped. The restroom requires a narrow staircase, which could be challenging for older guests.

We had another delicious Greek meal on Friday evening. The appetizer of taramas and tzatziki with the fresh, warm bread was divine. The calamari and gyro plate with bifteki were also very tasty. Thank you very much for the friendly service from the chef himself, and also thanks to the lady in the kitchen. 😋 Keep up the good work, we'll be back.💯

Were there for the first time and it won't be the last time. The menu offers a wide selection of Greek dishes at reasonable prices. The service is friendly and you don't have to wait long. We had a gyro plate and the stuffed peppers (available upon request). The side salad was also super tasty. Plus a myth in an ice-cold glass. Gladly again!

What surprises me is where so many good opinions come from. In my opinion. The food was average, even poor. Meat overcooked, almost burnt, hard. The restaurant feels musty and the decor and couches need to be replaced.

Gestern Abend haben wir spontan dieses Restaurant besucht und einen Grillteller sowie gefüllte Paprika bestellt. Leider können wir uns den vielen positiven Bewertungen, die von authentischer griechischer Küche oder einem "leckeren" Essen sprechen, keineswegs anschließen. Der Service war zwar bemüht und die Getränke sowie der Salat wurden zügig serviert. Allerdings fiel uns sofort auf, dass alle anderen Tische Brot zu ihrem Salat und den Hauptspeisen erhielten, nur wir nicht. Auf Nachfrage bei einem Nachbartisch erfuhren wir, dass dies üblicherweise dazugehört. Nach einer längeren Wartezeit kam unser Essen. Die Pommes waren erfreulicherweise heiß und gut. Dies traf jedoch auf den Rest der Bestellung nicht zu. Das Souvlaki war stellenweise noch gefroren und schmeckte sehr fad. Das Bifteki war extrem klein und trocken. Die Medaillons waren in Ordnung, aber ebenfalls sehr übersichtlich portioniert. Das Gyros hatte keinerlei Würze und wirkte wie aus der Pfanne – heiß und gewürzt hätte es vielleicht besser geschmeckt. Die sogenannte Metaxasauce, von der wir uns eine geschmackliche Aufwertung erhofft hatten, entpuppte sich als eine billige und unappetitliche Bratensauce. Zusammenfassend lässt sich sagen, dass dieses Essen mit authentischer griechischer Küche nichts gemein hatte. Wir können dieses Restaurant daher leider nicht weiterempfehlen.

We were there on Tuesday at 6 p.m. and all the seats were occupied by 8 p.m.... that says a lot... the service was very friendly and the food didn't take long to arrive... the portions were very generous and tasty for the low prices... Conclusion: highly recommended 👍

Maravillosa comida a un gran precio. El personal nos acomodó a pesar de tener una gran fiesta para atender. También empaquetaron nuestras sobras para llevarlas a casa. A really nice, cozy Greek tavern that you unfortunately rarely find today. Time has stood still a bit in the interior, but that's a good thing. Please don’t modernize it away! The food on offer is plain but good, and the service is quick and friendly. We like to end the day here every now and then!

The food was super tasty. One of the best Greeks I've ever been to. Price performance definitely fits.

Unfortunately, my experience with ordering a gyro plate and gyro gratin to take away was disappointing. The gyro was roughly cut, tasted bad, and the over-baked gyro completely lacked the cheese, while the sauce was inedible. Although I paid €30 in total, the actual price seems to be €27 according to the current menu. Simply outrageous!

Greek music, Hellenic furnishings and authentic Greek restaurant with typical dishes (feta saganaki, bifteki, souvlaki and so on). An undiscovered pearl in the vast depths of the outskirts. So if you're still looking for "the" Greek, you should definitely stop by.

Eine wirklich schöne kleine Taverne, in der das Essen sehr gut schmeckt. Das Ambiente lädt zum hierbleiben ein und wenn man doch nur zum Mitnehmen bestell, ist das Essen nach 10 bis 15 Minuten abholbereit. Sehr zu empfehlen !

Prelijepo uredena taverna,daje vam osjecaj kao da ste za trenutak na godisnjem odmoru na grckom otocicu. Hrana jako ukusna,cijene pristupacne,osoblje vrlo susretljivo i od pomoci pri izboru jela. Pri zadnjem posjetu za veceru sam uzeo przenu papriku kao predjelo i grill plate za glavno jelo. Paprika je vec bila previse a grill plate je bila preobilna i bilo je gotovo nemoguce sve pojesti. Svakako cu posjetiti opet i iskreno preporucam.

Hier bekommt man leckeres Essen für einen sehr fairen Preis. Der Service war von der Begrüßung bis zum Abschiedsouzo sehr freundlich, schnell und aufmerksam. Das Ambiente ist gemütlich. Schade, dass wir nicht öfter kommen können. Diese Taverne ist einen Besuch wert und man kann sie absolut weiterempfehlen.

Man kann sich gar nicht vorstellen, dass mitten auf der Kölnstraße in Auerberg so eine Gemütlichkeit herrschen kann! Wir sind direkt gegenüber eingezogen und essen hier quasi jeden Monat, man fühlt sich sofort zu Hause. Das witzige daran: Alle Freunde, die wir mit zur Taverne Elliniko nehmen, kommen uns danach häufiger besuchen und wollen immer den Abend dort verbringen :-) Die Speisen sind unfassbar gut - wir empfehlen vor allem die gebratenen Auberginen oder den überbackenen Feta als Vorspeise, den Fisch oder natürlich das Moussaka als Hauptgericht!

Ein richtig uriges kleines Restaurant, sehr einfach und ohne Schnickschnack, leckeres Essen und freundlicher Service. Ich mag das kleine Restaurant und empfehle es auf jeden Fall gerne weiter! :-)

Ein sehr guter Grieche das Essen war toll die Getränke waren super und das Ambiente war vorzüglich aber die Kellnerin hatte anfangs ein bisschen wenig Enthusiasmus aber sonst war sie sehr nett also kann ich nur weiter empfehlen

Altmodisch kitschig eingerichtet, halt auf Landgaststätte gemacht. Essen immer gut nur Zaziki immer viel zu wenig. Gyros etc. war diesmal etwas trocken aber immernoch sehr lecker. Bedienung immer sehr freundlich.

Gyros was okay, slightly too oily n salty. Middle-aged waitress brought out a small basket of bread slices (without my asking) that would be complimentary in other restaurants but here, they cost 1 euro. Told same waitress I didn't want raw onions but raw onions were still on my plate.

Super lecker ! Wir sind häufig Gast und immer sehr zufrieden. Hervorzuheben sind die Dorade Royal, der gegrillte Gemüsemix, die Garnelen mit pikanten Gewürzen, der Hähnchenspieß und nicht zu vergessen mega Pommes und Mythos vom Fass ! Echte authentische Griechische Küche ohne Schnickschnack und Getue zu fairen Preisen. Ganz ganz großes Lob dafür !

Kleines, herzlich dekorierte Lokal. Der Schafskäse Dip war intensiv und lecker. Das Gyros war gut gewürzt, wunderbar gegrillt mit einem kernigen Biss. Sehr lecker! Das Lamm war zart, rosa in der Mitte mit einem feinen Geschmack. Zaziki top, sogar die Fritten machen Spaß.

Selten bei so ein gutes griechischen Restaurant gegessen. Das Essen war hervorragend und der Preis Leistung ist 100% in Ordnung. Gemütlich aussen gesessen mit griechischen Musik auf der Hintergrund. War ein toller Abend mit meinem Kegelclub. Waren mit 16 Personen und haben All a Cart gegessen und alle Essen standen zusammen auf dem Tisch. Alles war super lecker.

Es war gut besucht an einem Donnerstag Abend, wir saßen zu 2 draußen an der Strasse *Brot war lecker ,wie graubrot, wurde mit serviert, ohne Hinweis das es kostet *Zucchini Bällchen auf Mehlbasis waren nicht durchgebacken, innen roher Teig Gemischte gebratene Gemüseplatte war teils mit verbrannten Stellen, nur mit Olivenöl und reichlich knobi gewürzt, es fehlte Salz auf dem Tisch zum nachwürzen *Pommes waren sehr lecker *Getränke und Ouzo waren warm! *Tischset,Karte und Brotkorb fleckig, ungepflegt *Service war sehr aufmerksam! Wir werden nicht wiederkommen

Wirklich alles sehr lecker, das Essen kommt nach der Bestellung sehr zügig. Das Personal ist auch sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Hier fühlt man sich willkommen und wir kommen immer wieder gerne hier hin.

Essen war in Ordnung, sehr leckeres Gyros Fleisch. Leider wurde sowas nicht kommuniziert wie: das Brot was ich auf den Tisch gestellt habe müsst ihr Bezahlen, oder sowas wie: ups bei den Gerichten sind ja doch standardmäßig Pommes bei, tja die Pommes die ihr jetzt extra bestellt habt zahlt ihr natürlich trotzdem! Sowas ärgert mich. Naja, essen war alles in allem gut, darum gibt's noch 3 1/2 Sterne.

Das Zanderfilet war bis zur Unkenntlichkeit frittiert, bekam als Beilagen ohne Probleme Salat statt Reis serviert. Die anderen Gerichte Gyros und Grillplatte waren gut. Portionen reichen auch für gute Esser .Der Aussenbeich wurde aufgewertet, die Bedienung war freundlich.

Wir sind gerne hier oder holen auch mal etwas ab für zu Hause. Neulich hatten wir eine Fischplatte für zwei Personen, es war reichlich und preislich absolut angemessen. Die Vorspeisen und Taramas sind mein persönlicher Favorit!

Ein sehr gutes Preis Leistungsverhältnis, bei netten Wirtsleuten. Sehr zu empfehlen.
