Never again! A friend and I ate there and both of our stomachs were off for a week. I have never suffered like this before. We immediately called in the veterinary office. In addition, the entire room was completely filled with smoke due to defective ventilation. If this was just a bad day, then it was the worst a restaurant could have. Most of the reviews are most likely fake. Leave it alone

To eat: My starter, the grilled eggplant with tzatziki, was very tasty. For the main course I had the Piatela plate. The fries and tzatziki were okay. Unfortunately the skewer was too well done and tough. The gyro was also over-fried. The meatball was already fried black and very peppery. The side salad was too salty. I give the main course a maximum of 2/5 points. However, the rating of the food is enhanced by the good starter. The portion was very large. You may see this as a positive thing, but for me it always spoils my appetite when you have a huge mountain of food in front of you. About the service: The starter arrived after about 10 minutes and the main course arrived another 10 minutes after we were finished. The staff were very friendly. About the ambience: It has a bit of a pub feel to it. Whether you find it beautiful or repulsive is a matter of taste. Just know. People sit at old wooden tables without tablecloths. I think it suits the Greek flair. I found it a bit unpleasant that the water was served in a plastic bottle. Miscellaneous: I was there on a Friday evening. The restaurant was completely full. So you should reserve a table. Price: With a starter, main course, water and wine you pay €35-40.

We ate at Jannis Tavern during our weekend trip to Bonn. We felt very comfortable and the food was very good. Delicious gyros, ouzo, nice atmosphere - what more could you want?

The last time we eat here. My son should buy fries and gyros. He was charged €13 for it. Soggy fries, not fully fried, dry, salty meat without tzatziki or sauce. And that for the price?!?! Here on the menu there are completely different prices. No wonder the store is always empty.

The boss welcomes and says goodbye to each table personally and very warmly, so you immediately feel at home. The starters are best for sharing, one was tastier than the other, we were blown away! The side dishes are all homemade, from the coleslaw to the fries, and the main courses are deliciously seasoned and delicately grilled. The dessert was also so delicious that we almost regretted sharing it. It's super comfortable to sit in, the store is packed and we felt very comfortable!

The food here is simply very tasty 😋 and for me they have the best tzatziki 😋😋. This restaurant is run by a married couple who simply form a very well-coordinated team. I would particularly like to thank the lady of the house at this point highlight because she is a true decoration queen! With a lot of love and time she decorates the guest room to suit every season. Anyone who still likes the charm of the 70's and wants to eat delicious food will fall in love. That's how it was for us and we're always happy to come back!

Everything freshly prepared. The salad is crisp and very fresh with a marinade of olives, lemon and oregano. The meat from the grill is always cooked to perfection. We have never been disappointed. An honest restaurant without a lot of frills, but everything is fresh. Rustic traditional Greek cuisine. The furnishings are solid and functional. The table is thoroughly cleaned after each change of guests. This is about good food. Thank you for the good quality!
