Really delicious Greek restaurant with authentic Greek food. The prices were reasonable and the quality was top notch. The only thing that let it down was a small group of locals who were a bit too loud. Definitely a place I would like to come back to

We have been coming here for over thirty years and are always thrilled and very satisfied. It is simply the best Greek in Zittau. Very nice and very friendly guests and excellent service.

Portions too small. €4.50 for extra gyros pepperoni just sprinkled with garlic.

The food is good. When I last ate there a long time ago, the smoking area was separated from the non-smoking area by a sliding door. The whole smell also reached us non-smokers. Maybe that has changed now. Update from October 24: After a long time we were finally there again. Perfect service, very friendly and the food was also delicious. The smoking problem has now been solved. The smokers are outside. The restaurant was very busy, although there was another Greek/Italian restaurant less than 100 meters next door. I will definitely come back sooner.

Starter tzatziki was freshly made. The ambience in the back is very nice and warm, cozy. The service was friendly and warm. The main course as a farmer's plate was extensive and very good value for money. Ouzo on the house on the bill is always very nice. Since I felt comfortable and the prices are really fair, I can only warmly recommend the restaurant.

The restaurant has recently been closed. The premises are currently being renovated. The opening of a new restaurant “Akropolis” has been announced.

Yesterday we were guests at Metaxas for the first time for a birthday. The welcome was very friendly and the waitress basically read every wish from your lips. The starters and the main course were very tasty. Our little daughter also had fun and was able to enjoy everything to the fullest. As the saying goes, if the children are happy, the parents are too! I'm already looking forward to my next visit to Metaxas. Addendum: After five months we were guests again at Alex's Metaxa restaurant. This time too we weren't disappointed... everything was great and brilliant. The hospitality is so kind and honest, a real joy. We would love to come back!!! Best restaurant in the world, great food and only nice employees

Good food with great potato wedges. The lamb fillet was good but could have been a little tenderer. The potato wedges and salad were convincing. Nice staff who even replace drinks if the customer makes a mistake.

Nice and helpful staff. Restaurant is clean. Addendum: I got a table at short notice for December 26th, 2024 and it was great again, the staff were very nice and friendly despite the Christmas stress. The price is also completely moderate. I would love to come back soon.

Traditional Greek greetings and farewells include an ouzo. Food itself was great. Service very friendly Price performance ok so far! Could be a bit cheaper! But let's be honest... It's fine!
