Very good Greek restaurant with a large selection! It's recently been under new management, but that doesn't come at the expense of quality! I think it's great that the restaurant will probably open again! It's a shame that it's been closed since 2020 because there isn't a similar restaurant near us within walking distance where you can eat well and drink a delicious draft beer. Therefore from me☆☆☆☆☆ stars.

Unfortunately closed 😢 but we were always very satisfied, large portions beautifully prepared and the dessert was always a highlight 🩵

Delicious Greek food in probably the smallest “Greek” I’ve ever been to. Be sure to reserve in advance! Is heavily frequented by Oldenburgers; While we were there, people kept coming in. Rather inconspicuous from the outside, pleasantly “non-chic” inside. The employee was super friendly and attentive. We were there before an event in the EWE Arena (12 minutes on foot) and would love to come back.

Nun muss ich auch mal eine Rezension abgeben. Wir sind schon lange Kunden bei The Greek. Früher war das Essen Preislich TOP! Now it's just expensive and the portions are getting smaller and smaller. Our gyros were very greasy and the fries weren't particularly crispy. The tuna salad really shocked me for €9.90!!! The kidney beans were completely missing - the bowl could have been made much fuller... a shame

Back then, we were regulars at the first location across from the church because the food was very good. But then it happened that we were accused of leaving the restaurant without paying and a guest recorded it on video. After we said that the video should be shown as evidence and that the police were welcome to come as requested by the owner, it was quickly dismissed and that it wasn't possible right now, etc. This made us, as regular guests who were always there, enjoyed eating there and stopped by, avoid this restaurant, also because we were perdu back then. I don't know what it looks like today. The boss is apparently the same as back then, I won't say anything more about it. I hope the quality of the kitchen is still good.

Food always tastes very tasty. The pizza is also a real eye-catcher and tastes first class. Best Greek in Castrop.

Went to eat in the restaurant. It was very tasty and the service was very friendly and nice. If we are in the area again we will definitely come back.

Bifteki and souvlaki are excellent Calamari’s rings are good but also difficult to get wrong. The gyro was a bit too salty/intense so you definitely need tsaziki with it, which is why I deducted 1 star. You can definitely eat very well here

The small family business is really outstanding! The food is incredibly delicious and the service is very accommodating. No matter who you are served by, the service is always very friendly and polite. Portion sizes are just right. Not too much, not too little. Absolutely great!

Were there for the first time yesterday and were warmly welcomed and served. No problem with dogs either. The food was great, from the salad main course to the dessert. Everything delicious. The chef knows his craft. You want to go here again.
