Five years ago I celebrated my birthday here. We were regulars. Really good food and we felt very comfortable.
But unfortunately that has changed a lot. On Friday the food at other tenants wasn't good. We're not coming anymore. One star is already too many, Christiane
Price-performance is not right in my opinion. For the prices, either the portions would have to be larger or the quality would have to be better. It also felt like it took a very long time for the food to reach us (7 people with advance reservations). Service was rather disappointing. The lady served us great. He just has to work, you could feel that as a guest. According to the motto: if I don't come today, I'll come tomorrow. The main thing is not to work too much. The ambience was a Greek restaurant, recognizable by 2-3 small sculptures and pictures. The music was also Greek. The paint stains from the freshly painted building should have been removed, and the multiple sockets should perhaps have been replaced at the same time and not simply painted over.
Regarding the comment: It's a shame that the guests from 3 weeks ago are not taken seriously. Some people try to keep their digital footprint as small as possible.
Good bowling alley seems to be quite freshly oiled. My metaxa pan wasn't hot enough for me but tasted good. The Suzuki gratinated that my wife had was probably very good. We had the pita as a starter, tasty but a bit too much olive oil.
Good Greek cuisine, Giros beautifully cooked with pleasant roasted aromas, coleslaw, fries and tzatziki top.
The ambience of a snack bar is because it is one.
Service is nice and the pickup time is always right
Cozy rustic! With a wood stove...but toilets outside in the yard.
Beautiful beer garden with connection to the Saalburg train station and in the immediate vicinity of the Lochmühle
It was a small restaurant but the food was 10/10, the meat was really good and the pita was really fluffy. It's been a long time since I've eaten a good pita gyros, I'll definitely be back and the price is really cheap
We became aware of this restaurant through the Schlemmerblock and wanted to try it out.
Unfortunately we had to wait over an hour for our three main courses, which was a bit of a shame.
The Paros plate offered mixed impressions: the lightly fried calamari and the tzatziki tasted very good, the tomato rice was okay. However, the gyros did not correspond to the classic Greek style, but was more reminiscent of sliced meat and was also a bit dry - which was unfortunately disappointing.
However, I would like to point out positively that the side salad that comes with the main courses was convincing in terms of taste.
A big negative point was the sanitary facilities. Not only are they getting old, but they are in desperate need of renovation - that was really shocking.
But what I would like to emphasize positively: The service was friendly and attentive, which enhanced the overall picture somewhat.
Overall, a mixed experience - good food with some compromises on the gyros, long waiting times, but at least nice service. However, the sanitary facilities are in urgent need of renovation.
