An excellent restaurant. We enjoyed the menu with corresponding wine. All dishes tasted excellent and were of high quality. The accompanying wine supported the individual courses perfectly. The service was always very friendly and accommodating. We had a lovely evening.

If you're looking for a top-class culinary experience, you can't miss the Alte Überfahrt in Werder (Havel). Awarded one Michelin star, this charming restaurant beautifully combines fine cuisine with a warm, family atmosphere. The location directly on the Havel is a dream. You sit in idyllic surroundings and enjoy the wonderful view of the water, which in itself offers a little break from everyday life. The restaurant exudes a wonderful cosiness - rustic and at the same time modern, furnished with great attention to detail. The kitchen? Simply fantastic! Every course is a surprise and an explosion of flavors. The dishes are cleverly composed and perfectly coordinated. Particularly noteworthy is the use of fresh, regional ingredients, which are showcased in an extraordinary way in every dish. You can taste the love for the craft and the dedication of the chefs in every bite. A menu that wonderfully combines creativity and tradition. Another highlight is the service: from the first moment you feel like a welcome guest. The staff is attentive but not intrusive, and the wine and food recommendations are always on point. The friendly warmth of the hosts rounds off the entire visit and ensures that you immediately feel comfortable and in good hands. The restaurant is perfect for special occasions, but also for a romantic dinner for two. Here, emphasis is not only placed on the culinary experience, but also on the overall feel-good factor - a visit to the “Alte Überfahrt” is much more than just dinner. It is a pleasure for all the senses and an invitation to experience the Havel from its most beautiful side. Absolutely recommended – a must for every foodie!

Fantastic quality of the dishes, delicate and creative, courteous service, the best you can get gastronomically in the Oder Spree district. Many thanks to Andreas Staak, brilliant cuisine!

The restaurant reopened on September 16, 2020 after a break of almost 6 months. Maybe that was also the reason for the failed performance. In any case, I have to strongly advise against it for the following reasons. Time: Ordered 4 of 7 courses with wine accompaniment. Dinner took a whopping 5.5 hours. This is absolutely unacceptable and inexcusable. The dishes were all cleverly prepared, impeccably prepared with the finest ingredients, even if not everything met my personal taste. The wine pairing was disappointing. Not only were the wines served much earlier than the food, but the quality/quantity of the wines could have been better considering the price (45 EUR for 4 x 0.1L). I'm also not sure if it was really 0.1L. When we finally got the bill after 5.5 hours at half past midnight, completely exhausted, I was shocked by the price of 9 EUR for a 0.75 liter bottle of water. That's sick! If you spend over 300 EUR on the meal, you can expect to be given a jug of still water for free. This is absolutely outrageous. Especially since we're not talking about any Himalayan mountain spring water, but about seltzer. I'm sorry, but we will never visit this restaurant again and I can also advise all other guests to look for other star restaurants.
