A lovely evening, great and really good service, better than in many other restaurants where we have eaten. Delicious food and nice ambience.

70s family celebration was great in this location

It's nice that our representatives and top SPD politicians feed on our tax costs. As normal citizens, we cannot afford such overpriced cuisine. Less elitist prices would be desirable. The food is very good.

We were in the restaurant in private last Friday. We were warmly welcomed and our coats were taken away. We got a wonderful 4th place. The atmosphere is modern and inviting. The lighting matched the evening mood very well. Patrick accompanied my husband through the variety of wines and humorously provided background information. The meal - 6 courses was surprising, varied, taste-simply delicious. The ambience was rounded off by matching plates and cutlery selection. We were there today and had a 5-course Valentine's Day menu. Almost everything was perfect. The food is great and very reasonably priced at €70 per person. The service was also very attentive and nice. The wine accompaniment was very well chosen and went perfectly with the respective dish. Two things need improvement. Firstly, the toilets are very old-fashioned and spoil the overall impression of the really nicely decorated restaurant. They are reminiscent of school toilets and could use a visual refresh. But they were clean. The second thing, the breaks between courses were sometimes quite long. We then noticed that the owner and host cooks everything himself. In itself a great achievement and admirable, but of course bad if it ends up taking too long. All in all, a very nice and successful evening and we would be happy to come back. You just have to bring the time.

The restaurant reopened on September 16, 2020 after a break of almost 6 months. Maybe that was also the reason for the failed performance. In any case, I have to strongly advise against it for the following reasons. Time: Ordered 4 of 7 courses with wine accompaniment. Dinner took a whopping 5.5 hours. This is absolutely unacceptable and inexcusable. The dishes were all cleverly prepared, impeccably prepared with the finest ingredients, even if not everything met my personal taste. The wine pairing was disappointing. Not only were the wines served much earlier than the food, but the quality/quantity of the wines could have been better considering the price (45 EUR for 4 x 0.1L). I'm also not sure if it was really 0.1L. When we finally got the bill after 5.5 hours at half past midnight, completely exhausted, I was shocked by the price of 9 EUR for a 0.75 liter bottle of water. That's sick! If you spend over 300 EUR on the meal, you can expect to be given a jug of still water for free. This is absolutely outrageous. Especially since we're not talking about any Himalayan mountain spring water, but about seltzer. I'm sorry, but we will never visit this restaurant again and I can also advise all other guests to look for other star restaurants.
