This one is a bit hard to find with current construction on the hotel, but it is open. We had a lovely meal here. The beef tartar was fantastic. They prepare it at the table to your liking. The lobster pasta was pretty inedible, but the fish was fantastic. They brought out chocolate truffles at the end as well which was a great touch.

Great location, very good service - the kitchen still has room for improvement The restaurant-kitchen-bar concept of Fritz & Felix in the Brenners Parkhotel was impressively implemented. The ambience is stylish. The bar, restaurant with a beautiful summer terrace and the glass-enclosed kitchen with the huge Galician charcoa grill are impressive. There remains no doubt that this noble bistro is part of the Brenners Parkhotel - one of the best hotel addresses in the country. The excellently trained, attentive staff also lives up to this requirement. From valet parking to reception to table selection on the terrace, we experienced 5-star superior service. The table culture with cutlery from Robbe & Berking and Riedel glasses underlines the high standard of the restaurant. Our waitress introduced herself by her first name and told us in a warm and friendly manner that she was our host that evening. Due to the summer temperatures, we chose a table on the wonderful covered park terrace. Due to this perfect reception and the dignified atmosphere, we had high expectations of the dishes we ordered. However, these were only partially fulfilled. The sourdough bread served was freshly baked and the spreads were aromatic. The starters were good - but not outstanding. While my spicy-spicy tartare with Belper tuber shavings impressed with its aroma and quality, the pike-perch ceviche turned out to be far too soupy - you could have served it with a spoon. The Alsatian duck liver with very nice brioche that was served afterwards unfortunately fell victim to the summer temperatures: the mousse of pineapple and Piedmontese nuts disintegrated into a thin broth that could only be eaten by dabbing it with pieces of brioche. What surprised us was that the waiter who served the plates immediately recognized the problem and pointed out the temperatures. However, he made no attempt to compensate for this mishap in any way. My free range chicken breast was of good quality and texture. The meat was tender and a little too dry - unfortunately the skin was limp and not crispy at all. Conclusion: Great restaurant, unique ambience, very friendly service with unfortunately only mediocre cuisine at high prices. The visit to Fritz & Felix was a very nice experience - we probably won't remember the dishes.
