The pub in Veedel is almost extinct.

It's a shame, for some time now you can't walk past rubbish and broken glass in the morning, the rubbish collection is supposed to do it all, so we do. Really not a good impression for the surrounding shops. Especially not a good first impression for the detour! Everyone should do their part: encourage guests not to drop their rubbish and clean up their own mess! In the evening, the tables are not only set up over the sidewalk but also right up to the bike path and on the corner of the intersection, where guests and pedestrians are nuzzling each other, that's not good. O. No getting through! Please make more space for pedestrians and cyclists.

The food and service were okay, but I think it's a shame that the "beer garden" is filled with loud party music even during the week from lunchtime onwards.

I have been to the Oranieneck four times now and can say that I have always felt very comfortable. The service was always very friendly and pretty quick. The meals were tasty and plentiful. The mixed-age audience was open, friendly and I never felt strange. You can play darts and billiards there, but you're also very welcome to play skat or shock. Outdoor dining is also recommended during warmer times. The operation there is also very quick, which is not common everywhere. My conclusion: A rustic restaurant that you'll be happy to come back to and have fun. I will definitely be a guest more often and can only recommend the Oranieneck.

Went to watch football here at VfB Stuttgart for the first time. The restaurant has an outdoor area with beer garden tables. The Maultaschen was very tasty and you can also drink the beer 😜 Probably won't be the last visit here. Above all, they understand Swabian here. 😃

Carnival 2025 at the Alcazar was simply fantastic! The music, atmosphere, and mood were unique, and the service was incredibly friendly and fast. I'll be back next year! You're sure to have delicious food too. I'll try it during "normal" hours. The cheese spaetzle was amazing.
