Gaststätte Oranieneck in Köln

Great bar, friendly staff, and excellent service. We spent a lovely evening playing darts there. The bowling alley downstairs is also highly recommended. Excellent value for money.

I've been to Oranieneck four times now and can honestly say I've always felt very comfortable. The service has always been very friendly and quite quick. The food was delicious and plentiful. The clientele, a mix of ages, was open and friendly, and I never felt out of place. You can play darts and billiards there, and they're also happy to play skat or Schocken. In warmer weather, the outdoor seating is highly recommended. The staff finds their way there very quickly, which isn't always the case. My conclusion: A charming pub that you'll definitely want to return to and have a good time at. I will certainly be a frequent visitor and can wholeheartedly recommend Oranieneck.

The food was okay, but I've had much better. The service was extremely unfriendly and in a bad mood; it wasn't busy, so there wasn't really any stress. It used to be a nice place to meet, especially before football, but sadly not anymore. The glasses were dirty and the toilets weren't really clean either.

At first I was thrilled to sit comfortably in the sun in front of the restaurant, but that was soon to change. The waitress came to take the order with a sullen look. I wanted to give my sister a nice day, but she also said that something was wrong. She spoke to the lady to clarify why she was behaving so strangely. I was very shocked when it thundered so loudly that all the other guests had to hear it too. A family member was portrayed in such an evil manner without anyone probably paying any attention to the background. I didn't know where else to look, the day was over. Then I just wanted to drink a coffee and leave. The waitress snapped at me that she couldn't do anything now because I wouldn't notice that she had a lot to do. Reluctantly I was given a coffee. Well, I definitely won't go there again because I'm a paying customer and would like to be served properly.

I actually always really enjoyed going there because you can sit outside there in the summer. I was also able to meet the new boss twice, who was very friendly to me. "BUT", he should rein in his staff a bit. Actually, I just wanted to celebrate my birthday there in peace. No matter whether I ordered coffee or what I ordered, this waitress treated me as if I were some antisocial person from the street. I always admire this restaurant because of the darts and billiards club and I enjoy watching the solidarity of these people after all these difficult times. I owned a restaurant myself and know that something like this is good for people when they come. This was also the case when people came with problems, just to talk and calm down a bit. Being a landlady also means being a bit of a contact person or psychologist in order to make people feel good again, because the world is not colorful and beautiful. So this person exposed me so much in front of everyone, or complained so much about one of my family members (about data protection) that I just paid and left. Everyone really noticed. If people who don't belong to the darts or billiards club are not welcome, the landlord should turn it into a club bar. You just don't do that and especially after Corona and all this stress, you should take more into account the old tradition of "customer is king" because only through the customers and their euros can restaurants continue to exist. I won't be going there anymore and will celebrate my birthday, which was pretty much ruined, somewhere else.

In itself a nice pub, but unfortunately the wrong crowd.. Very loud and the staff also think they turn the music up to full volume... no conversation possible without a megaphone but the space isn't fully used in the middle of it there's just a pool table Darts + billiards often got in the way, as I said, it's a shame, actually a lot more is possible

Depending on who is there, you can sometimes receive mediocre friendly service and there are too many boring hits playing for my taste

Urige Kneipe mit einem Billardtisch und 3 Dartautomaten. Musik der 80 90iger und auch mal von heute. Gemischtes Publikum und lecker Reissdorf Kölsch.

Sehr nette Leute!!! Der Rest paßt auch.
