I highly recommend this restaurant. First, a few words about the service: The welcome was very friendly, and they asked where they would like to sit. There's an outdoor area in front of the restaurant, as well as a lovely little courtyard, and, of course, an indoor area. Everything feels very cozy. The service was very attentive and friendly, and they made you feel welcome. Drinks were served quickly, and everything was at a very good temperature and fresh. They politely asked you if you wanted anything else when your drinks were empty. But it was never intrusive. In my opinion, the menu has something for every taste. The selection is just right. Not too much, but not too little either! The dishes also change frequently. The stay was very pleasant.

We went to our daughter's graduation party at the Zollhof...unfortunately, nothing went as planned! There weren't enough staff, so drink orders took too long, and the food didn't come out either...the staff that was there were very nice!!! but unfortunately, hopelessly overwhelmed... Only after complaining to the owner by phone did another server come... Unfortunately, there weren't enough seats, even though we knew how many people would be coming...a real shame...the young ladies and gentlemen were very disappointed...😔And it wasn't a small amount of money paid per person! The value for money was not at all good.

A very nice, small, almost romantic shop with a large bar, a few tables, and super friendly staff. The food menu isn't too extensive, but it's delicious, even if some of it is a bit pricey, but everyone is dressed up. You can also sit outside on the street side, but the highlight is the beer garden at the back, which is somewhat hidden, surrounded by the surrounding buildings like a little oasis—although it's twice the size of the actual shop. 🤪

We were there on a Sunday around 6 p.m. with six people. We had reserved a table and were seated in a lovely little outdoor area behind the restaurant. The service was prompt, friendly, and attentive. The food was excellent. There was something for every taste. Highly recommended.

Yes. A young team serves. The food is good, and the portions are generous. The place is also suitable for parties of around ten people. Prices are moderate. The restaurant has an outdoor area on Herthastraße and a beer garden at the back. The dining room isn't very large, but it doesn't feel cramped. The noise level is manageable, even when the house is full. The menu isn't extensive, but the cuisine is creative. The antipasti platter is best eaten by two people, otherwise there won't be room for the main course.

You feel warmly welcome as a guest, the team simply spreads a warm and friendly atmosphere, which alone gives you a full star rating👍Added to this is delicious food, really cool, well-tapped beer, and you definitely have to try: the cold Sophie (slush wine). It sounds strange at first, but it's delicious, especially in this warm atmosphere🥰

A nice start to the weekend with my best spent there. We shared great little things to sniff and something completely new We had a summer drink...the cold Sofie in white or red was only topped by the two absolutely magical waitresses. Always happy❤️

The restaurant is really good, but the waiting time for the food is extremely long, 1-2 hours. I would like to give more stars, but the long waiting time is really not nice.

Setting: Es speiste zu Abend eine Gruppe von Freunden im Zollhof. Das Restaurant war zu beginn noch leer, da wir direkt nach Öffnung vor Ort waren. Am Tresen saß bloß ein Gast mit Bier, der uns ein gutes neues Jahr wünschte. Wir gingen durchs Restaurant zu einem Tisch der weiter weg vom Tresen war, um uns ungestört unterhalten zu können. Als die Bedienung vorbei kam, teilte sie mit, dass der Gast vom Tresen uns die erste Runde Getränke ausgeben würde, was wir dankend annahmen. Der Herr vom Tresen kam dann allerdings kurze Zeit später und schon leicht alkoholisiert zu unserem Tisch und trug uns ein Gedicht vor. So weit so schön. Allerdings hatte er sich dann dazu entschieden, uns noch länger Gesellschaft zu leisten und sein Monolog schweifte in unangenehmere Themenbereiche ab. Er berichtete davon, dass er vor drei Wochen das letzte Mal jemanden umgebracht habe und dass mit ihm nicht zu Spaßen sei, danach dichtete er wieder etwas mit feuchter Aussprache, was den ein oder anderen am Tisch leider erwischte. Zwei Personen aus der Gruppe haben ihn nach einiger Zeit freundlich gebeten zu gehen und nach etwas Widerwillen und einem weiteren Gedicht verschwand er dann wieder zum Tresen. Es wäre schön gewesen, wenn die Angestellten vor Ort die Situation unterstützend moderiert hätten, da sie immer unangenehmer wurde und sich auch einige Minuten gezogen hat. Essen: 75% der Gruppe waren mit ihrem Essen unzufrieden. Die eine Speise sollte ein Wrap sein, dieser war aber aufgrund der üppigen Füllung (oder des viel zu kleinen Wraps?) überhaupt nicht rollbar, wodurch der Inhalt des Wraps einfach nur auf dem Wrap selbst lag und die Speise nicht das darstellte, was sie eigentlich sein sollte und auch nicht traditionell gegessen werden konnte. Die Bedienung sagte dazu "viel Spaß beim selber rollen". Irgendwie merkwürdig. Das andere Gericht, Ein Risotto, war für die speisende Person kaum gewürzt und schmeckte einfach überhaupt nicht gut. Die Person würzte auch noch selbstständig nach, aber dadurch wurde es auch nicht besser. Ein weitere Gericht war ein Salat. In diesem Salat wurde ein langes Haar gefunden, leider erst während des Essens, was das Geschmackserlebnis natürlich massiv beeinträchtigte und eigentlich den Worst Case im Restaurantgeschäft darstellt. Die betroffene Person war ich selbst. Zusammenfassend waren die Speisen durchwachsen bis mangelhaft. Die Portionen waren zwar an sich groß genug, allerdings hatten alle Personen der Gruppe das Fazit gezogen, dass die Preise für die Zutatenwahl (z. B. wenig frisches Gemüse) und den Umfang der Speisen (durchschnittlich groß) einfach viel zu hoch ist. Ein erneuter Besuch wird nicht stattfinden.

Delicious Christmas goose, delicious Kölsch and good vegan selection

Service was super nice, but our food was terrible. Salad (98% leaf lettuce) drowned in dressing, prepared carelessly and without esprit. Chicken amateurishly varied. What kind of sauce or marinade would that be, soy sauce with sesame? For 21€ a disgrace. The Ajoli was for Germans? At least without spicy garlic. The fries were very tasty, too greasy for my companion... White wine at a very good temperature is important to me and is rarely the case in gastronomy. Unfortunately second and last visit. P.S.: We had reserved and were initially seated at a bar table right next to the toilet. Not professional.

We were at the Zollhof for the first time. The reason was to look for a place where you could eat geese. We had the goose leg and the goose burger, as well as the pulled pork burger and a dish with chicken breast and an outstanding chestnut mash. The meat was buttery tender. All dishes were very well balanced in terms of seasoning. The goose burger is terrific and a great idea for how to reinterpret goose. I'm not usually the biggest fan of fries, but these won me over. Well seasoned - crispy - great! The menu is neither too big nor too small, there is something for everyone. I like that cooking is seasonal. It's very comfortable to sit "outside" in the tent. Every effort has been made here to create a pre-Christmas atmosphere. The service was courteous, friendly and fun. This makes you feel warmly welcome and comfortable!!!! It won't just be a visit.

We were at the Zollhof on Saturday, space for 6 people was a bit tight but comfortable, and we had a waitress who was super friendly, attentive, never intrusive, quick, just great. The food was fantastic, venison schnitzel, leg of goose and breast were super tender, and then the goose burger filled with red cabbage salad... super tasty. A fantastic evening!!!!!

Das essen war kalt und nicht lecker war schlecht gewürzt und war sehr teuer für so ein minderwertiges Essen .der service war genervt von uns weil unser essen um tauschen wollten die Getränke waren auch teuer und nicht gut .Emphle keinen anderen da essen zu gehen würde nächstes mal lieber zu McDonald’s essen gehen als da.

The food was actually good. The meat from the beef patty in the burger was a bit too salty and the pumpkin dish lacked a bit of flavor. Otherwise it was very good.

We have been going here for a few years and have even been going there since we no longer live in Cologne. We love the courtyard, but you can also sit comfortably inside. We always thought the food was great, the menu was extremely varied and there was always something for us. We think the price level is very fair and better than some other restaurants. The owner and his team are also cool and nice. We can't really criticize anything and can only recommend the restaurant :)

We sat in the beer garden. Staff very friendly and quick. The burgers (BBQ and veggie) were pretty darn good. But the dessert, the half-baked cookie with ice cream, was world class. Of course we'll be back soon.

Ambiance is definitely 5* for some 🙂, due to personal preferences I rate it 4. The food is very good, value for money, but unfortunately that's a bit high for me as I don't earn that much. Lunch dishes are cheaper and also very good. The own beer and wine are also delicious.

Just a reminder, opening hours until 11 p.m. We came yesterday at 9:45 p.m. and unfortunately we were only able to order tarte flambée because the fat had already been drained from the deep fryer. Too bad and incomprehensible. The service you receive is unpleasantly inauthentic, like in a well-paid nursing home. If you're into it, we're not. You sit on uncomfortable wooden chairs in an attempt at a modern art atmosphere and the tarte flambée floats full of fat on the 0.0001 mm thick dough. That's really a pity. The name of the restaurant doesn't match anything.

Well-kept restaurant with a sun terrace and a secluded garden in the middle of the “Veedel”. Delicious lunch (today Pinsa with, among other things, very aromatic tomatoes...) at a fair price. The desserts “Brownie” and “Cookie” come to the table with exceptional preparation and presentation (cookie in a cast pan). You can get addicted... Excellent open wines and not to forget the in-house, extremely tasty beer (cult naturally cloudy hops on tap). Super friendly, competent and charming and uncomplicated service. Conclusion: EVERYTHING is right here! You feel comfortable here! See you soon!

Yesterday we ate very tasty cheese pätzle with a good portion of salad at the Zollhof. The service was very friendly and attentive. Recently there is also a lunch menu there! We recommend!!!

What really stands out is the staff. Christina and Aida are always in a good mood and are always there to have fun. We always feel very comfortable here and enjoy being served by the great team. The food is great and the cold drinks are also amazing. It's definitely worth a visit.

We spontaneously decided to eat here. After a short wait, we were served a fantastic meal by our very nice waitress. The ambience is based on the industrial look with an eye for detail. So we had a very nice evening and can only warmly recommend the shop. Go there, you won't be disappointed 100%. See you soon Ps: the dessert from the pan is amazing.
