2 drinks, starter, main course, dessert. -2.60 for 0.2 Coke (13€/L) – unfortunately, that's the case almost everywhere. -Starter: Halver Hahn (a chicken breast), roll, two slices of discount cheese, onions, butter, slice of lettuce, and a packet of mustard. The cheese had a rind and the knife was relatively blunt, which shocked me. 6.90 for a cheese roll. Main course: Schnitzel Knott (a German schnitzel), 2 schnitzels, braised onions, fried potatoes with bacon, a fried egg, and freshly sprinkled spring onions (I thought it was very good with the spring onions). Everything was good. Except for the schnitzel. I'm happy to be proven wrong, but I'm firmly convinced it wasn't freshly pounded. When I pound schnitzel myself, the meat is stringy, soft to the bite, and generally tender. In this case, it was a bit firmer; the meat fibers were intertwined, fused together. I'm happy to be proven wrong and come back again. You can order a fresh one, and if it tastes just as good, you'll gladly give it 4 stars. Price: something around €18. Dessert: red fruit compote with vanilla sauce, a small portion. I'm no expert on red fruit compote, so I won't speculate. It was okay. I didn't get full. But then again, it's not easy for me. Anyway, €40 including a 10% tip (it's just what you expect). The atmosphere was fantastic.

We finally came here for dinner again today...and it was absolutely delicious, as always! Goose with dumplings and red cabbage, with delicious jus and crust, and unusual desserts that you can only taste here. The welcome was warm and welcoming; they take time for you, whether for a chat or a quick wine recommendation. Top-notch cuisine, top-notch service, a relaxed atmosphere—it's always a pleasure to be here. Thank you, see you next time!

We attended an evening event celebrating the Cologne Lights. It cost €200 per person. The wine and champagne were excellent. All drinks were included. The food was incredibly delicious. The servers were very professional.

Great location. Very good service, which easily accommodated our requests. Great portions for a fair price.

You order at the vending machine, which of course saves on personnel costs. The vending machine puts pressure on you to tip, you have to actively refuse (in shame). I find the pre-selection of up to 20% outrageous. I get the food myself and have to hand over the tray. I mean, the prices for fries are already high, but the expected tip at the vending machine is simply outrageous. That's how much they charge in restaurants with full service in the USA, where employees are paid well below minimum wage. Hopefully (!) here they pay a decent amount and there's zero service! Yes, it really does taste good, but as long as the request for tips continues to be so outrageous, this will be my last visit to your place.
