Lovely restaurant. Delicious food. Friendly and fast service. No long wait times. If possible, walk the last stretch due to the parking situation. Walking is healthy. Overall, highly recommended.

Super sweet hostesses. The kitchen staff certainly goes above and beyond. We were the last customers and late due to train delays from Switzerland. We were still invited to eat here. A new favorite spot for our next meal in Cologne. The view by the water will be truly fantastic during the day. Great atmosphere, beautifully presented and delicious food.

We invited 29 people to the Rheinblick on Tuesday for my mother-in-law's 100th birthday. The food and service were once again excellent. Admiring the dishes on our plates was a feast for the eyes. The staff, as always, were excellent and fulfilled our guests' requests as quickly as possible. A heartfelt thank you to the entire staff for the successful celebration.

What else can I add to all these reviews? Huge portions, beautifully presented, excellently cooked, and served by dedicated and super-friendly staff. Google asks if I can recommend the Rheinblick restaurant... Unfortunately, simply making a recommendation is completely inadequate. Anyone who passes by this restaurant without experiencing the ambiance, the view, or the friendly, attentive staff is missing out! The food from my own experience: Fantastic (7 out of 5 stars) We'll not only happily return, we're already looking forward to our next visit!

We went there for the first time last Friday with our Italian friends. 5 people, 2 starters, 5 main courses, and 2 desserts – all top-notch! From the salmon in a sesame crust, Gordon Bleu, redfish in panko breading, a salad plate with king prawns, and spaghetti aglio olgio – everything was absolutely perfect, beautifully served, and very well-seasoned... A liqueur or espresso as a gift from the house – combined with the panorama…❤️❤️❤️❤️ As for me, I have a new favorite restaurant – and the prices are quite reasonable too…

Today, my husband and I visited the RheinBlick restaurant in Cologne-Porz. The location and view are very nice, and the staff were generally friendly. Unfortunately, there were a few situations that made us feel more like "foreign guests" than regular customers. In particular, the owner's constant eye contact with our table—even when my husband went to the restroom—made us feel like we were under special scrutiny, presumably just because we're not German. We were also told that card payments under €50 were not possible. We've never experienced such a policy before, so it seemed a little unlikely to us. We paid the amount in cash, but they neither asked for nor gave us the receipt. This led us to suspect that this might have been because we're foreigners. To be honest, we think that if we had blonde hair and blue eyes, we probably wouldn't have been treated this way. As we left the restaurant, we didn't receive a friendly "goodbye" or "thank you." This reinforced our impression that German and foreign guests are treated differently. Our goal is not to harm anyone, but to raise awareness so that foreign guests feel just as welcome in your restaurant as everyone else in the future.

We were there last night and I had the best tagliatelle with truffles and roast beef ever! The starter was also delicious, amazing, the service was friendly, the restaurant was super clean and attentive to detail. And the view of the Rhine at sunset was beautiful! We'd love to come back. We'd love to have something as great as that near us on the other side of the Rhine, but unfortunately, it's not available.

I would even recommend this restaurant to my enemies… just so they'd burst with envy! The food here is sensationally delicious… even after the 10th visit, the service is the same. The food always tastes good, and even the 5th time, the same dish tastes just like the first day! Very, very delicious… I always enjoy coming here.

We celebrated our wedding here and, looking back, are so impressed by how much great service a restaurant offers, both before and after the celebration, from the heart and so naturally. All of our guests raved about the fantastic location, the service, and especially the food. It really has to be emphasized that the kitchen creates magical dishes and deserves every compliment. We couldn't have imagined a better location for our special day and, looking back, all we can say is: Thank you for being there, keep up the good work, we'll be back anytime!

I like to go to Rheinblick often; the food is very delicious and the atmosphere is lovely. Today, unfortunately, we weren't so satisfied, even disappointed. No Coke Zero, no Diet Coke, and no Limocello Spritz... Explanation of the condition: It can happen sometimes; the boss wasn't out shopping. When paying, I say, "Best regards to your boss (it's not your fault), but unfortunately, it wasn't nice today." Reply: It can happen sometimes; you were there on the wrong day. I don't know what's worse, not having any drinks or the way we were treated and the reaction to it.

The food truly exceeded our expectations. There were ten of us there. The wait was very, very long, from the initial order to payment, unfortunately, because the wait staff was completely overwhelmed and extremely understaffed, resulting in relatively long waits.

The food is always fresh and delicious. It can sometimes take a little longer, though. Tuesday and Friday lunchtimes offer a reasonably priced menu. The view of the Rhine is the best Porz has to offer.

Delicious, modernly prepared food in a casual atmosphere. Great view of the Rhine. The service was attentive and friendly. The lobby and staircase to the restrooms could be cleaner, but the restrooms were impeccable.

We were very satisfied. Reservations are recommended, especially for the terrace; a very nice view of the Rhine, especially if you're not sitting with your back to it.

Unfortunately, the service wasn't that good during our visit today, but the food was delicious and the price was perfectly reasonable.

You pay for the view of the Rhine. The food is okay, but nothing special. The small menu is certainly a plus. The downside is that you're not flexible in your choice of food. The service was unfortunately rather subpar for the standard the restaurant strives to offer. All in all, I would come back just for the truly beautiful view of the Rhine.

The restaurant is located directly on the Rhine, and the outdoor terrace offers a beautiful view of Cologne. The ambiance is simple and rustic. The menu isn't very extensive, but there is also a slightly larger daily special. The food is very tasty. The price-performance ratio is good. The service staff is very friendly, but on this evening they were a bit uncoordinated and didn't always have the best overview, so the wait between the starter and the main course was a good 90 minutes. Overall, the restaurant is recommended due to its location and the quality of the food.

We spontaneously stopped by for lunch and found a lovely spot on the terrace! The service was exceptionally friendly, and we were served promptly. I had the lunch menu and my husband had the Cordon Bleu. The food arrived quickly and was beautifully presented. Here, you definitely eat with your eyes! We were thoroughly delighted with our meal and can highly recommend the restaurant! We would also like to emphasize that the menu is small, which we really appreciate!

We were a group of 13 in the cozy restaurant. Even though the end of the day was not far away, we received very friendly and courteous service. The food was extremely tasty.

The Rheinblick restaurant is highly recommended in all respects.

Very tasty food, but very slow service! We had to go to the counter and ask if we could finally order something to eat. And when the waitress was at the table, she didn't notice the empty glasses, so we drank relatively little in the four hours we were there. The restaurant lost sales! The food took a long time to arrive, but in the end we apologized and a round of drinks were on the house. When we paid separately, things didn't go smoothly and in the end it took about 15 minutes before we were presented with the correct invoice. Well, everyone starts out and makes mistakes. Let's hope it was just a blip!

The chef at least recognized that his Vitello Tonato was uninspired. Unseasoned, no acidity and missing capers. Instead, a base of dressing-free lettuce and avocado, which also made the whole thing floury. You could have saved yourself. Please just go to the original. Keep the recipe and everyone is happy.

I have often been a guest at the Rheinblick with my husband, friends and colleagues. So far we've all had a great time. I recommend making a reservation, especially on weekends, so that you can get a table.

It's a shame that the previous speaker apparently had such a bad experience. We were guests at the restaurant yesterday and I can't even begin to share this opinion!! +The welcome from the service was very friendly +The table was clean and inviting +The entire Christmas decorations in the restaurant are so festive that you feel at home +We received the tickets very promptly and the drinks as well, even though the restaurant was full and there was even a party in the back room +Starters and main course a dream! Chestnut soup nice and hot, Vitello Tonnato something special and the main courses very attractive and served on hot plates +The main course took a little longer, but considering the place was full, that wasn't a problem at all. After all, we are not on the run and so we know that every dish has the same devotion +Prices absolutely appropriate for the quality Always, always, always happy :)

I had the daily menu with salad and dessert. All very tasty. Portion to fill you up. Friendly service. If you look out the window everything was great but unfortunately the floor, the stairs to the toilet and the toilet itself were dirty; too dirty for Tuesday 2 p.m.

Today was the first time we were guests in a larger group. For a table of over 10 people, the food came quickly and, above all, at the same time. The portion sizes are very well balanced and meet all expectations. In terms of taste, I can (unfortunately) only rate the truffle fettuccine. The ingredients are fresh and there is no shortage of ingredients. Lots of mushrooms, good quality parmesan and perfectly cooked pasta. The amount of truffles here is also very good, so that the taste is not completely dominated by truffles. The meat on top is just the cherry on top. The wine selection is really good for a small restaurant. The Pinot Noir (2022) is recommended here. The staff is friendly and attentive, coupled with the ambience with the direct view of the Rhine, this visit will definitely not be my last.

After a very long renovation phase, the four of us wanted to go on December 7th. Enjoy the great service and delicious food at the Rheinblick like before. Unfortunately, this was a very disappointing experience. Due to an annoyed service staff, waiting for the menus (there were no sufficient ones), which were then very slimmed down, a cold, unheated dining room, toilets and the basement that needed renovation and were not clean, and a very long wait for the food, it was anything but a successful evening . After almost 2 hours of waiting for food, we left annoyed, hungry and cold. With a NICE apology and the offer of a round of drinks on the house, a coffee at the end or another basket of bread, we might have changed our minds. Unfortunately, this hospitality did not exist. We cannot currently recommend it. Unfortunately, there is nothing left of the nice hospitality, the great service and the all-round feeling of well-being when staying with you BEFORE the renovation.

We celebrated our wedding at Rheinblick on Friday. Even the preliminary discussion was uncomplicated, accommodating, great menu suggestions. The restaurant is located directly on the Rhine with a great view. From the reception to the end it was a great day. We were looked after very well and lovingly by the service staff and all the guests were simply thrilled with the food, regardless of the starters, main course or dessert. Mr. Walz and his employees contributed greatly to ensuring that we and our guests had a perfect, unforgettable day. Once again, thank you very much.

Here you can eat delicious food and watch the hustle and bustle on the Rhine in a wide arc. When the weather is nice and warm you can also sit outside on the terrace. Service and ambience are completely appropriate to make you feel comfortable.

Hello Restaurant RheinBlick, This is my personal story with my poor english. In 2017, i was getting trial to some football club by myself, alone in Köln Deutschland. There was 15 hours away from my country. It was so lonely and tough moment for me. And then one day, i have been in this restaurant. Absolutely that is one of my unforgettable memories in my life. I ate a Tagliatelle and Cordon Bleu here. They are the most delicious and memorial dishes in my life. If somebody ask me that what is your favourite or best dish in your life, i would say this a tagliatelle and cordon bleu of RheinBlick is my best. They are not only just food for me. I can remind to the feeling, mood and nostalgia for past of me that trying to challenge and get effort for my dream. After come back to my country, i’m always wishing that i will get there once again and have a tagliatelle and cordon bleu. So.. in coming December 2024, finally i can visit the restaurant! because I’m getting married and i will get to honey moon in Europe. I will get in Porz only for the restaurant. I’m so exited to visit there soon. But also i’m quite nervous and worry about it. Because i will visit there very late night 30 dec or lunch time 31 dec because of my next flight time. but as far as i know, the opening time is 17:00. Of course i will try to visit there in 30 December even it is going to little bit late. But i wonder will you guys open to restaurant in 30 December? And i couldn’t see to tagliatelle and cordon bleu as i ate before on the new menu. They are not available to order no more? I tried to contact to your restaurant but i couldn’t find your IG via or other. So i ask you to my questions and show’em to this lovely delicious dishes. Nice restaurant right on the Rhine Waiting time for food was over an hour. As compensation, we got a soup on the house which was very tasty. The late meal was also delicious. The duck breast was just past the optimal cooking point for us

Apparently my review from the weekend disappeared. We were there with friends and each time we had to wait a long time for the order to be taken. Meanwhile, the waiters strolled around, chatting or busying themselves with their cell phones. By the time the order was at the table, the beer was stale, the cappuccino was lukewarm and the espresso was cold. It's also really bad when only one of three women's toilets is available in a restaurant of this size. Absolutely not recommended. And now I'm curious to see whether this review will disappear again.

Wir waren gestern, am 12.10.24, zum Abendessen hier. Ich hatte die Bandnudeln an Trüffelsauce mit Kirschtomaten, Unkraut und Roastbeef Streifen: 21,00 € und meine Frau das Cordon Bleu mit Pommes und Salat: 22,00 € und 5 Bier: 10,50 €. Mit Trinkgeld: 60,00 € Zubereitung, Geschmack und Teller Dekoration: Einfach perfekt (die Küche ist super) Aber die Akustik, (Lärm), in den Laden ist unangenehm laut. An den Fenstern stehen nur vierer Tische, die für ein Paar nicht brauchbar sind. Paaren bleiben nur die kleinen zweier Tische ( Katzentische), die so blöd stehen, dass eine Person immer mit dem Rücken zum Fenster und dem v.G. Vierertisch sitzt, was einfach unangenehm ist. Schließlich zahlen Paare die gleichen Preise wie die, an den Fenstertischen. Die Bedienung ist freundlich und aufmerksam und die Preise entsprechen durchaus dem hohen Niveau der Küche.

A wonderful evening at RheinBlick – excellent service and relaxed atmosphere On Friday evening we spontaneously decided to end the day with a cozy drink at RheinBlick. Even though there were six of us and we hadn't made a reservation, we were immediately warmly welcomed at the counter. When I asked whether it was still possible to get a table, I received a very friendly answer: “Of course!” The service was truly first class. The staff were not only attentive, but also radiated a special warmth that made us feel welcome right from the start. Our drinks were served after a pleasantly short wait and the staff were always on hand to make sure we didn't miss anything. We were regularly asked whether we had any further requests without seeming intrusive. I can't give any stars for the food because we didn't eat anything! We really enjoyed the evening in the stylish and relaxed atmosphere of the RheinBlick. It was the perfect end to our day and we look forward to coming back soon!

The "lukewarm potato and cucumber salad" was unfortunately rather cold, but still delicious. The homemade aioli and the dip (dip for the bread at the beginning) were a little underseasoned for my taste. The bread at the beginning was very great. Really a great bread (baguette). The redfish fillet was incredibly tender and fine and simply brilliantly made. I've rarely eaten fish so well done. Ambience great. Waitresses very great and very friendly. Food great. You really feel comfortable. All in all, I have to give this a full number of stars. 5 stars. Thank you for the day with you

Eating at Rheinblick has been a must for several years now. The location on our Rhine is unique. The food also speaks for itself. Fresh preparation goes without saying and the prices are fair and reasonable. The service leaves nothing to be desired. The only downside is the stairs to the toilet. However, this is only due to the structural conditions; but still manageable. For us, the Rhine view is always worth a stop. In the summer just because of the sheltered outdoor terrace. We were there for the first time recently and absolutely loved it. Therefore, on our first visit we booked a table again for my birthday yesterday for 4 people plus my 3-year-old grandson. Everything was great except for the fact that we had to wait over 90 minutes for food, which is too long with a 3 year old. When we asked, we were told it would take, but we didn't know how long. But the food came a few minutes after our request. It's a shame, it spoiled my stay a little.
