Very good, tasty food. Nice and attentive service. We always enjoy going there.

The Reissdorf im Keuchhof has been one of my favorite restaurants for years. However, I unfortunately have to say that since my visits in November 2024, January 2025 and today, March 16, 2025, the quality of the food has decreased. I would very much like to see a return to the quality I am used to. Of course I will visit this restaurant again.

17.2: last chance➡️ screwed up! We had sauerbraten, which was so tough! The portions have shrunk to the minimum. A spoonful of red cabbage that came out of the jar at 100 per cent, and unfortunately didn't even taste remotely like red cabbage. The sauerbraten slices were thin like a schnitzel and only two instead of the usual 3-4. The dumplings were tiny too. However, the prices have risen sharply. Well... That was finally it after so many delicious years 😪😪😪 The service from the regular staff was, as always, very good 👍 December 2024: After years of satisfaction, we were bitterly disappointed yesterday. The menu, more of a traffic ladle, has shrunk by 50%, all the good food has disappeared. But run-of-the-mill dishes like in surrounding restaurants. Unfortunately, this is no longer interesting for us as long-time guests who like to come at least once a month. It's a shame... the new service is completely overwhelmed, empty glasses as far as the eye can see. We've never drank so little there before. Unfortunately the food has deteriorated considerably; the veal curry sausage was dry, the intestines were difficult to chew, and the additional fries we ordered didn't even arrive. Very unfortunate 🙁

The food was a poem and the service was very attentive. The atmosphere is cozy and invites you to linger. This restaurant is simply my favorite in Cologne!!

Small, fine brewery atmosphere with Rhenish delicacies.

No, no and no. This is no longer the good brewery with the large selection and great quality, no matter which dish you choose. Side dishes kept very, very small. Add salt to the mashed potatoes. The dessert selection was a joke - maybe something for children. Redness Grits, rice pudding and ice cream. There seems to be a lack of basic craftsmanship. All the plates didn't look tasty, they just looked like they were slapped on. We don't need to say anything about the pricing other than overpriced.

The ambience and also the service is really good. But the main thing is the food and that was really bad, I ate the classic, the sauerbraten and that was by far the worst I've ever eaten. It was simply tough and that's not possible with a sauerbraten, plus the taste wasn't sour at all. The side dishes were ready-made, both the dumplings and the red cabbage. Absolutely not recommended for eating out. There are 2 stars only for the service. There really is more.

New managing director/owner… you can tell. Not only did the previous managing director raise the prices several times, but now, immediately after the new boss took over, there was another price increase of around 10%. But the menu is reduced by around 50%. It will be exciting to see where the guests continue to arrive. (Unfortunately I have to give one star for the prices and menu) Addendum: I'm surprised where all the gourmets 🙄 are suddenly coming from. I don't want to question it 😎

Under the new owner, the menu is pitifully small. Minced beef steak two large meatballs vuel too much for one portion and indefinable In any case, there is definitely not enough meat content. It works like that, oh well. It used to be better

Unfortunately, we also have to adapt to the bad reviews. After the change of tenant, the restaurant is no longer recommended. Why do you have to change a concept so badly for the worse, even though it worked great for years? It's a shame for the great staff, maybe we'll stop by again for a Kölsch, but not to eat anymore.

We were there for dinner on November 15, 2024. Unfortunately, the quality of the food is no longer what it was a year ago. The portions were very small and didn't really fill you up. Unfortunately I can no longer recommend the restaurant.

I have always enjoyed going to the Keuchhof for years, but last night was disappointing. The smaller menu isn't a problem in itself, but the delicious deserts like apple fritters are missing. Clear minus on the part of the kids. The main courses were served carelessly and not as good or as filling as the price level would suggest. We will cancel our Christmas party for now.

Cozy brewery in the middle of the residential area, friendly, relaxed and attentive service, the dishes are not exactly cheap, but tasty ( Maultaschen in cheese sauce...highly recommended)

Home-style cooking, tables in the guest garden. Draft beer. Addendum Nov. 2024: Food selection greatly reduced, prices greatly increased. Side salad consists of 2 leaves of green lettuce, 1 slice of cucumber, 1 slice of beetroot, 1/8 tomato and 3 beans. Surcharge for sauce for the schnitzel: 3.50. Still loud and crowded, uncomfortable.

You can immediately tell that they work here with great attention to detail and high-quality ingredients. The atmosphere was cozy and the staff was extremely friendly and attentive. A big compliment to the entire team! We will definitely be back and would recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to enjoy a special evening and great food.

The menu is very small and there is little choice of different dishes. Mainly served: pork. The server did not ask for the rumpsteak to be cooked, the fries arrived cold and the quality was unsatisfactory. I could almost do the same thing at home for less money. I am not coming back and I advise against it

Prices have risen dramatically with a reduced menu - it's a shame, we always love coming here, but there's always a limit somewhere!!

Very child friendly Fast service

The food is a poem every time. The rump steak is always on point. Luckily it doesn't swim in the sauce. Fortunately, these are provided separately and are also all recommended. Especially the pepper sauce. The seasonal side dishes are also a dream. A big shout out to the chef here! The waiters are very friendly, attentive and work well together. You can feel that this is a long-standing staff M factory. All in all, one of the best breweries in the area and highly recommended for all lovers of good, cozy food!

A cozy brewery with enough space. With larger groups you should reserve in advance. You can sit comfortably on the outside terrace. The employees are friendly and accommodating.

Unfortunately only 3 stars in the overall rating although the service and ambience are very consistent. Since there were about 10 of us in total, I can and would only like to rate my menu: Dish: Grilled veal kidneys Fried potatoes ok but not hearty. Broccoli overcooked. Mustard sauce with mushrooms is very tasty. Must be taken into account!!!!!! Kidneys were still absolutely raw from the core.

We ended up here by chance and were therefore all the more positively surprised. Very attentive, friendly service team. Great selection and excellent quality of food. In short: we were completely satisfied. Thank you for that.

The sauerbraten is second to none

Was good, is good, (hopefully stays good). Grown brewery, just as it should be. Very tasty food, nice service (the same team for years). Parking is a bit difficult.

Down-to-earth, good, tasty brewery cuisine with seasonal special menus. The service is quick and, as is the brewery tradition, the beer glass never stays empty for long. There are many tables, more inside than outside. Table reservations definitely make sense. Rooms for larger events are also available. There are a few parking spaces in front of it, but they fill up quite quickly and it's hard to find any around it, as the picturesque estate is in the middle of a residential area.

Die Qualität der Speisen ist immer noch deutlich über dem Durchschnitt und hat mit dem üblichen Brauhaus essen nichts gemeinsam! In der sessionalen Karte gibt es zur Zeit ganz ausgezeichneten Spargel in mehreren Varianten. Wir werden sicherlich noch einige male den Spargel bestellen!! Beste Wahl.

A really nice inn! The rooms are large and have a well-kept interior. The beds are very comfortable and everything seemed bright and friendly. At breakfast there is a small but good selection of cheese, sausage and the like. - as a guest you can also have any egg dish freshly prepared for you! All in all, we paid around €110 for one night for two people including parking and breakfast. That's cheap for the performance offered here! Again any time!

We come here every now and then when we are in Cologne. Food is rustic and good. When the restaurant is full it is quite loud. Very friendly service who also has an eye for an “empty beer”. Come again.

Sehr gepflegtes und schönes Restaurant. Stilvoll, urig und passend eingerichtet. Der Service war sehr gut. Aufmerksam, freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Essen war super. Alles wie erwartet und die Wartezeit war angemessen. Obwohl es recht voll war, hat man uns kleine Sonderwünsche erfüllt. Die Gerichte sind gut bürgerlich und die Portionen waren groß. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Ein jährliches Treffen unter Freunden führte meine Frau und mich ins Reissdorf em Keuchhof. Da ich nicht trinke habe ich mir einen Tee bestellt, welcher nur zur hälfte gefüllt war. Zur Vorspeise gabs eine Kürbissuppe die sehr stark gewürzt war und mit Gemüsebrühenpulver mit Stückchen verfeinert wurde. Also eine Kürbissuppe ist jetzt nicht die hohe Kunst. Ohne Zusätze mit ausschließlich frischen Zutaten ist machbar, wenn ein Rezept fehlt kann ich gerne aushelfen. Zur Hauptspeise, die war lecker. Schnitzel mit Wirsing und Bratkartoffeln sind es geworden. Mir persönlich fehlten Speck und Zwiebeln bei den Bratkartoffeln wurde aber nicht in der Karte mit angegeben also mein Pech. Zum Nachtisch gab es Kaiserschmarrn. Ja eine Enttäuschung auf Platte. Also für ein so kleines Portion 8,90 zu verlangen und dann auch noch aus Fertigmische ohne Rosinen und Konfitüre, mehr als ärgerlich. Bekommen hab ich einen in Teile geschnittenen Pfannenkuchen mit einer sehr dünnen, gehaltlosen Vanillesaucen (wurde wahrscheinlich gestreckt) und der Ausnahme des Tellers, einem leckeren Walnusseis. Ich komme gerne vorbei und gebe der Küche Tipps, aber das ist kein essen wofür ich mit zwei Personen nochmal über 70 Euro ausgeben möchte.

Gemütliches gutbürgerliche Lokal. Freundliche Bedienung. Der Sauerbraten hat leider nicht geschmeckt.

Die Gans samt Beilagen ist exzellent!! Die Beste der Stadt ! Und so reichhaltig! Wir freuen uns das ganze Jahr drauf!!!

Wir waren 10 Personen, die a la Carte gegessen haben. Alle waren zufrieden und das Essen kam für alle fast gleichzeitig auf den Tisch. Besser geht's nicht.

War heute zum ersten Mal hier. Positiv überrascht. Gibt nichts zu sagen. Alles top.

Waren im angegliederten Hotel und somit auch im Gasthof zu Gast. Die Gaststätte mit schönem Ambiente war stets voll, was I.d.R. auf gute Küche hindeutet. Wir (4) wurden nicht enttäuscht. Das Personal äußerst freundlich, die Getränke und Essen kamen schnell, eine Hektik war nie zu verspüren. Die Speisen reichhaltig und sehr lecker. Man könnte feststellen, dass hier ein eingespieltes Team zu gange war. Selbst der Chef/Küchenchef hatte sich später Zeit genommen für einen Plausch. Weiter so.

Das Essen war super lecker und der Sevice sehr freundlich. Absolut zu empfehlen.

Die beste zubereitete Gans kann man im Keuchhof essen. Man wird hier freundlich und schnell bedient. Obwohl das Restaurant voll war klappt der Service hervorragend. Übrigens alles andere auf der Speisekarte schmeckt auch sehr lecker. Freue mich schon auf den nächsten Besuch.

Das Schnitzel Wiener Art war so lala... Etwas wenig Souce. Hätte wohl besser ein Steack bestellt. Ansonsten Blitzsaubet, gepflegtes Kölsch, flotte Bedienung.

Es sind einer Empfehlung von Verwandten gefolgt und in dieses Wirtshaus eingekehrt. Einen Platz haben wir ohne Reservierung bekommen und auch das Ambiente wirkte nicht schlecht, aber auch etwas groß und leicht ungemütlich. Service: die Mitarbeiter waren sehr unterschiedlich, die eine Dame war etwas forsch und wirkte leicht unfreundlich bzw etwas genervt. Ein jüngerer Herr war sehr freundlich zuvorkommend und ich nenne es mal kumpelhaft. Generell fühlten wir uns aber nur so semi wohl. Essen: das Schnitzel war meiner Meinung nach deutlich zu platt geklopft und die Panade etwas zu dunkel und hielt auch nicht wirklich am Schnitzel sondern ist abgefallen. Die Bratkartoffeln wirkten eher wie Kartoffelscheiben die in der Friteuse gemacht wurden? Die Salatbeilage war okay aber auch mit Fertigsoße... Schade. Die Pfifferlingsauce wirkte sehr dünn und es waren wenige und vor allem nur sehr kleine Pfifferlinge darin. Geschmacklich aber ganz OK. Wenn man das ganze jetzt aber im Preis-Leistungsverhältnis betrachtet bei einem Preis von ich glaube 22€ ist das nicht mehr ok... Preise: Getränke haben wir zunächst ohne Karte bestellt... Hier ist es einfach krass dass eine Cola 0,5 Liter 6 € kostet. Geht's noch? Das Kölsch mit 0,3 Liter war bei 3,60€ und auch nicht ganz bis zum Eichstrich gefüllt... Auch sehr eigenartig empfanden wir, dass nach dem Essen keiner mehr kam und fragte ob man noch etwas will oder bezahlen möchte, aber die Mitarbeiter an einem anderen Tisch in unserer Nähe selbst angefangen haben zu essen. Das habe ich so noch nicht erlebt, sehe ich jetzt aber auch grundsätzlich nicht als all zu großes Problem... Aber wenn deswegen der Kundenservice leidet dann ist das schon ordentlich blöd... Wir waren im Gesamten eher enttäuscht und würden nichtmehr kommen.

Schönes Ambiente, Service trödelt ab und zu ein bisschen, aber ist immer freundlich. Essen kann mal gut sein und mal Standard.

Das Essen war Glutamat/Maggi pur und das war bereits beim Bringen des Essens am Geruch erkennbar. Der Service war sehr zäh und es dauerte alles ewig.

Hallo, Ich hab mir gestern ein Salat mit Putenmedaillon bestellt. Abgesehen davon, dass das Fleisch sehr hart war, fand ich nach zweimal Picken ein Haar im Salat. Ich habe lange blonde Haare, im Salat war ein kurzes schwarzes Haar. Nach dem ich den Kellner darauf angesprochen habe, habe ich gedacht, dass ich ein Salat ohne Haar bekomme, weil er den Salat mitgenommen hat. Stattdessen wurde mir Kaffee angeboten, was ich dankend abgelehnt habe. Am Ende habe ich 19,50€ für ein Salat mit Haar bezahlt, was ich nicht gegessen haben. Da komme ich nicht nocheinmal hin. Echt schade. Grüße

Eine super abwechslungsreiche Speisekarte lädt zum Schlemmen ein, es ist für jeden was dabei und Preis/Leistung ist exzellent. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend und auch Sonderwünsche sind kein Problem soweit machbar. Das Essen kommt relativ schnell und ist wirklich sehr sehr gut ❤️

Für ein Brauhaus gehobene Küche, die Qualität immer gleich. Sehr schneller und freundlicher Service. Die Preise den Zeiten entsprechend etwas hoch.
