Very friendly and attentive service. The food was fantastic. We'll be back!

Went there today, a man who works there was very unfriendly and charged €1 for the toilets, even though we had drunk cocktails there beforehand. Impudence! Answer: Even more outrageous than apologizing. Paid €10 per drink and only accepted payments in cash. What's wrong, I was there and it's as described. From a human perspective, even if a person has to go to the toilet, as a restaurateur you are friendly and accommodating.

If you want to see the most beautiful surroundings of Cologne, I can only recommend Mango. Me and my friends are very, very satisfied.

Despite the hefty entrance fee, demand a fee for using the toilet. I would avoid such rip-offs. == ADDENDUM == The provider has now justified itself by saying that such behavior is common at carnival. I would like to strongly disagree with this. I was in several other places that same day that EITHER charged entry OR charged a fee to use the restroom. If you already pay an entrance fee, you can also expect that it will at least include the use of the toilet, especially if the additional costs are not communicated beforehand.

The food there wasn't really tasty. We had burgers and pizza. The pizza had a sticky dough and tasted kind of boring. The burger wasn't much better. A cheap industrial bun that was totally soggy due to the sauces. The pattie was cooked dry and tasted very neutral. The topping of tomato, cucumber and lettuce was still nice and moist and made the burger even more mushy. As soon as the fries cooled down a bit, they were no longer edible for me. Also worst quality. The drinks were OK. That's why the second star. We won't go there anymore.

Very good food and cocktails at moderate prices. The service is friendly, and you usually get a round of shots on the house when you say goodbye. However, there is a star deduction for the ambience and the service as the music is quite loud (especially in the evening) and the waiting times can be a little longer

Attractive bar with outdoor dining in the Kwartier Latäng with a wide selection of food and drinks. Tasty, inexpensive lunch. Clean, appealing ambience. Seats are a bit cramped because the tables are close together. Unfortunately, there was a change of ownership. The new owner has already accused me three times that I had Didn't pay the bill from the day before, although he usually collects the money himself. So be sure to get an invoice. The owner claims that you're leaving after dinner, would come back the next day and wouldn't have paid. Ridiculous, you pay, you even give the owner a tip. I don't want to accuse him of showing signs of Alzheimer's, but he is mentally completely absent when he collects money. I suspect one in the nightlife not unusual substance abuse, the impact of which on mental health could be an explanation for the laughable, completely unfounded accusation of carousing. Despite that If you have personal quarrels, the restaurant is recommended because of its large, inexpensive offering, but be sure to get a receipt.

We come from Stuttgart and spontaneously found this restaurant. And we were totally positively surprised. The food tasted so good and the service was impeccable. I would love to come here again and again and recommend it to everyone.

A place I go to as soon as I have the chance. The taste of the dishes is really worth trying. Definitely a place where you can spend a nice time with friends. The staff is also very friendly. Definitely try it out!

Very nice and courteous service and delicious cocktails. We were lucky and got a table with a larger group at short notice without a long wait. It is almost always, rightly so, very crowded there.

This was our second time at Mango. The location is really great and the team is super friendly. The cocktails are particularly noteworthy – they are simply amazing! If you're looking for a cool atmosphere and first-class drinks, you should definitely stop by here. We'll definitely be back!

Since the change in ownership of Restaurant Mango, I've been absolutely thrilled. The kitchen has totally improved for the better, the cocktails are simply top and the service is extremely friendly and competent. A clear 5 from me ⭐️

All in all it was a good idea to have lunch here. Delicious rigatoni casserole. Good portion, also looks tasty. However, the cappuccino was so-so... I would still like to come back because the price was also great!

we have dinner here but when we were finished they told us that we couldn't pay with card. we had to find an ATM. that's not correct. they should had told us first or they can in the menu writen that they accept only cash

We made a reservation for 3 people but the table for 4 was pulled apart and our 3rd person was given a folding chair that wasn't comfortable. That's not possible at all. The drinks take a long time to arrive and the staff has to be quicker. Yesterday we were eating here and our friend's empty plate was taken away even though she was still holding her slice of pizza in her hand and hadn't finished eating yet This wouldn't have happened with the old owner

Today I was at Mango again for lunch, I heard that my favorite waitress Anissa is no longer there, which I think is a shame because she was super nice and sweet. She always does her job really well, which is why I like to go there Mango, I hope that next time I come back she will be there otherwise I regret to say that Mango will lose a guest.

The ambience is quite good. However, the service was not satisfactory. The waitress were unfriendly. For example, people complained that we ordered drinks one after the other and not all at once. (“I was just here.”) Likewise when clearing away the cutlery. I paused for 10 seconds while eating and then was asked straight away for the plate. Same with the drinks. You hadn't even finished drinking before the glass was demanded. It's about the way. No please. No thanks. No courtesy to customers. After a few of these statements, we quickly went somewhere else. I wouldn't go here again and unfortunately I can't recommend it.

I would say, all in all, it's "okay" if you want to go out for a drink and at an affordable price (mojito e.g. €6.90). Unfortunately, there were one or two things that would prevent me from making a recommendation: - We made a reservation for 6 p.m. and were warned after an hour that the table was reserved for the European Championship game at 9 p.m. and that we could then move. Shortly before eight, while one of us was still eating, we were asked to move to another table. They could have told us this in advance or given us another table straight away. I've also experienced in another restaurant that you can only reserve a table for 2 hours, but unfortunately here it wasn't mentioned either when we made the (early) reservation or when we sat down. I found having to "move" during the meal despite having a reservation a bit uncomfortable and not so customer-friendly. - There seems to be a shortage of plates and glasses. At least as soon as you drank the glass empty or had another sip in it, you were asked to pass it; not along the lines of “Would you like something to drink?” and the glass was taken with them, but very firmly "The glass please" and "Can I have the glass" and that throughout the evening. I found that a bit disturbing and uncomfortable, especially since you were always asked to pass it on, so the conversation was always interrupted. It was the same with the plates when others were still eating or when you weren't quite finished and just paused briefly to chat. At some point we lost count of how many times we were asked to show off something. It also creates a rushed feeling when you're not completely empty or haven't eaten everything yet. In my opinion, a little more patience (and perhaps more space so that the waiters can reach the items themselves) would contribute to a more relaxed atmosphere. Food and drinks are okay, relatively cheap and a large selection. I love herder's cheese and olives in a salad - but unfortunately they were tasteless. With the salad there is at least a fairly large pizza bread with tomato sauce and garlic. There were one or two "mistakes" in that the bread with the salad (which according to the menu was included) came without notice and when asked 15-20 minutes after the salad and all other dishes, or when asked it was assured that the dark wheat beer would be tapped and then it was poured from the bottle into the glass in front of our eyes (the waitress may of course have made a mistake - it's human, but unfortunately there was no word of explanation or apology when we mentioned it), a drink was forgotten to be brought and It wasn't that easy to get attention again. These would be small things that can happen and may not be worth mentioning, but it was the sum that made it a little annoying. (Card payment was not possible today either)

I had a wonderful evening and am completely satisfied. I can definitely recommend the Mango Bar :)

I've been a regular customer at Mango for a long time and have always been very enthusiastic about the cocktails and the conditions, especially Diana! Super sweet and very presentable. There are often shots on the house and always the best recommendations. Worth a visit!

Service seemed very unmotivated and bored. When paying, it was communicated that card payment was not possible. And my food order was made wrong by the kitchen and I still had to pay full price for the wrong food.

I really enjoy coming here for lunch - the waitress is experienced, very attentive, friendly and professional, the food is brought out within a short time, and any special requests are always met with a smile. Unfortunately, this good impression from lunchtime is not confirmed in the evening. After a first, disappointing visit in the evening a few months ago, we were there for the second time in the evening and the service was once again moderately good. To be honest, I was rather SHOCKED at how freely the evening waitress appeared - without wanting to offend anyone: when I eat, I don't want to see half of the waitress's buttocks! Therefore: full recommendation and all stars for it at lunchtime, unfortunately not in the evening!

We went to the Mango Restaurant for lunch today and unfortunately we didn't like the food that much. But I really have to say that the service there was just great! The waitress was super friendly and even gave us 2 espressos on the house to sweeten the taste a bit. We were really impressed with their service and will definitely go there more often because of the friendly service!

Great place to eat and drink!! There are significant discounts, especially at lunchtime, and the food tastes really delicious, especially the casseroles. Moderate food, bad cocktails, unfriendly staff. At our seat we were jostled by the waitress, several times the bartender simply leaned over our table to put something on the counter and every now and then we were sprayed with drinks by the bartender.

My twin brother and I were pub and bar hopping around the party area of Cologne around Zulpicher Platz and Zulpicher Straße when we chanced upon Restaurant Mango and what a great find. Walking in and I knew I would enjoy my visit here, interior is superb, light and airy, pubby decor and furnishings, a cool looking serving bar dominates the main room, big screens to enjoy the sport and plenty of seating options spread throughout this place, its just a great restaurant to chill out in. We ordered kölsch beers from Gaffel Brauerei, these were served in excellent condition being iced cold and sparkling and we just kicked back, chilled out and soaked up the great vibe in this busy and popular restaurant. A big fan of the various kölsch beers served in this vibrant city on the River Rhine, a golden, light and hoppy lager style beer bursting with taste and very easy to drink especially when served freezing cold as in this place, it was just so good being in such a lovely restaurant enjoying a quality brew and sat with my twin brother, best beer companion in the world. We really enjoyed our beers in here before we moved on and although our visit was only fleeting we had a great time. Restaurant Mango is easy to locate along Zulpicher Straße. Opening hours are; Monday to Sunday, open from 11am. Well worth checking out if you're in the area.

Unser Besuch in der Cocktailbar begann vielversprechend mit der Zusage, dass Kartenzahlung möglich sei. Leider stellte sich heraus, dass die Bar entgegen dieser Zusicherung keine Kartenzahlung akzeptierte und behauptete, dass ihr Kartenlesegerät defekt sei. Dieser Vorfall wirft Fragen auf, insbesondere bezüglich der Transparenz und Verlässlichkeit der angebotenen Zahlungsmöglichkeiten, zumal draußen an der Eingangstür ein Aufkleber prangte, der betonte, dass sogar Kleinstbeträge per Karte bezahlt werden könnten. Abgesehen von diesem enttäuschenden Vorfall bot die Bar eine angenehme Atmosphäre und serviert wirklich delikate Cocktails. Allerdings waren die Cocktails recht teuer, was unsere Gesamterfahrung beeinträchtigte, insbesondere angesichts der unerwarteten Barriere bei der gewünschten Zahlungsmethode. Die Qualität der Getränke war definitiv lobenswert und verlieh unserem Abend einen angenehmen Geschmack. Jedoch bleibt der unangenehme Nachgeschmack der fehlenden Kartenzahlung, der vorgebrachten Ausrede und der höheren Preise bestehen. Eine zuverlässige Handhabung der angebotenen Zahlungsmethoden sowie transparente Kommunikation seitens des Personals wären wünschenswert, um die insgesamt positive Erfahrung zu optimieren.

Ich bin schon mehrere Male Gast bei der Mango-Bar gewesen und war jedes Mal begeistert! Der Service ist sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich besonders ist der Chef sehr bemüht und hilfsbereit. Die Kellnerinnen gehen auf wünsche und fragen immer ein und sind permanent auf Trapp. Die Cocktails haben eine sehr gute Preisleistung und Qualität. Im generellen ist das Essen sehr Lecker, es gibt Gerichte aller Art. Die Mango-Bar ist auf jeden Fall einen Besuch wert um sich selber zu überzeugen.

Bester Laden- immer die Adresse Nummer 1 , wenn wir ausgehen! Wenn es mal ein Problem gibt, wird das sofort geklärt,sich entschuldigt und es gibt Shots aufs Haus- leider vergessen das die Leute, die eine schlechte Rezension geben, anzugeben.Menschen passieren nunmal Fehler. Lässt natürlich charakterlich tief blicken, wenn man das Positive nicht mit angibt. @ Die Leute vom Mango: Ihr seid die Besten! Mango on Zülpicher Straße is an excellent restaurant and bar that offers a very good food and drink's range and was one of the many places we visited in this area. Mango has a superb interior with a brilliant look and feel with nice decor and excellent furnishing's and really good seating area's and to top it off superb staff. We visited Mango late in the night when it's more of a bar than a restaurant.I've seen a few reviews of Mango and it lived up to the reviews I've read as its a superb place and well worth visiting. When we visited here we had a few glasses of Gaffel Kölsch which where excellent and really well priced.This restaurant and bar is a superb place to visit and is easy to get to from Zülpicher Platz tram/u-bahn stop its a short walk.(This is my 1st review of Mango).
