We ordered 2 portions through To good to go and received them quickly. These were already cooled down/packaged ready for transport, but reheated they were really tasty!! The ambience is just “typical football restaurant” which everyone has to judge for themselves.

Two class service – a disappointing evening The visit was supposed to be a pleasant and relaxed evening, but unfortunately there was little left of it. The reception seemed distant, and the atmosphere was characterized by a noticeable dichotomy in dealing with the guests. What was particularly irritating was the negative attitude towards new guests, even though the pub was open as usual according to the website. Stayed at a nearby hotel and was told the food here was good, when the owner decided to open the restaurant - obviously he opens when he feels like it. We thought we were lucky as when we wanted to eat, around 7 in the evening, it was open, and food advertised on a board outside. 3 of us opened the door and the man behind the bar (presumably the owner/landlord) gave us a rather annoyed look for being disturbed - there were only 2 other people there, sat at the bar, not eating. All the tables were empty so we ordered a beer and sat down - for 10 seconds- before the grumpy landlord rushed over to move us (there was nothing on the table indicating it was reserved). We asked if there was food available and reluctantly he pointed to a menu and stomped off back to the bar. Having experienced his rudeness 3 times in as many minutes we decided we were not welcome and that the landlord really only wanted to talk to his 2 mates, so we left. The only thing going for this establishment is that it is next to the underground terminal, meaning that you can get away from the unwelcoming landlord as quickly as possible and find somewhere with staff who care about their business. Such a shame as everyone else in Düsseldorf, without exception, were helpful, kind and understanding and we did not experience language communication barriers anywhere.
