At the city beach, there is a cabaret stage run by an independent association. There are regular smaller events here that make a visit worthwhile. Only the adjacent Oberkassel Bridge and the B1 highway above it may result in increased noise, which diminishes the enjoyment of the listener. Regarding accessibility: There is a staircase directly at the city beach, but this only leads to a few places at the top and does not provide access to the city center/old town (B1 highway). Those wishing to access the city beach with a walker or wheelchair must approach the route via Burgplatz. The distance is approximately 1 km.

There is a romantic place for a walk, but always but toilets quite disaster

It's always a great place and a beautiful view. The staff are nice, but the tipping thing is just embarrassing for everyone involved. They wait to see if you want to tip or not, and only then does the debit card reader kick in. Meanwhile, the staff is staring at you. Why don't you add 20 cents instead?

We went to bingo at Stadtstrand. Self-service at the food truck or drinks counter. No entry fee.

Took a break here today. There was no show on stage, so not much going on. Great idea, and certainly great here in the evening. The market and street festival made it very littered. The proximity to the completely overflowing trash containers at the skate ramp also didn't contribute to a pleasant atmosphere. Lots of wasps, and depending on the wind, a very musty smell from the containers. Conclusion: Certainly a nice place. We'll come back sometime in the evening and see what it's like. But based on our experience, only 3 stars. Perhaps the people in charge should work on improving the trash disposal concept.

Great atmosphere right by the Rhine, with hammocks to relax and enjoy the view. On some days you'll find salsa dancing, on others classical music or something completely different—there's always something going on. Dear team, I've been loyal to you since you opened. I was all the more stunned when I recently stood in front of an Aperol Spritz from the tap – for a whopping €8.90. Quite frankly: This is gourmet fast-food price level for a mere 8.90 litre drink. The drink tastes watery, artificial, and unloving – as if you had mixed it in a quick wash cycle. A Spritz should be freshly stirred, with real Prosecco, not pre-mixed swill from a hose. This isn't a shooting festival, but (hopefully) a bar with a high standard. Please reconsider this urgently, or you'll lose your regular customers. Disappointed greetings

One point that bothered me was that I had to pay for my €4 Coke with a card because they didn't accept cash.

The staff are a bit mediocre, but the drinks are crazy. But Jule is pretty cool.

A lovely outdoor venue with a stage where various small artists perform. There are lounge chairs in front of the stage, and there are additional seating areas all around. I was also very pleased that there was an Asian snack bar there. There's also, of course, a drinks stand. Cash payments are not really desired or possible there; they only accept card payments.

Great location right on the banks of the Rhine. When the weather is good, it's an ideal place to chill out.

Man sitzt gemütlich, auch auf der oberen Ebene Der Sonnenuntergang war heute fantastisch und von dort gut zu beobachten gute Musik Selbstbedienung leider keine kleinen Snacks, sondern nur Getränke Toiletten-Benutzung auch für Gäste nur mit Barzahlung. Leider hatte ich kein Kleingeld dabei und trotz freundlicher Nachfrage und Bitte um eine Ausnahme wurde ich leider mit Hinweis auf das Finanzamt abgewiesen. Für mich ein No-Go! Wir sind dann halt gegangen und haben das 2. Getränk bei den Rheinterassen verzehrt. (Dort war die Toilettennutzung problemlos auch ohne Kleingeld möglich)

Unfassbar schöner Abend zum richtigen Zeitpunkt. Daria und Dorna 1A, Djane 1A, aber Timo… deswegen nur 4 Sterne.

Eine sehr schöne alternative zu eine Biergarten oder auf der Wiese zu sitzen. Die Livemusik war auch sehr angenehm und nicht zu aufdringlich. Lediglich ein kleines Manko ist die Toilette die leider in einem desolaten Zustand von den Gästen hinterlassen wurde aber es gibt wenigstens eine. Die Getränke sind regional und sehr zu empfehlen. Ein Besuch lohnt sich auf jedenfall um ein Bier in der Sonne zu genießen.

Wenn die Stadtstrand gut gefüllt, bzw. Alle Plätze besetzt sind, dauert es mit den Getränke viel zu lange. Leider. Aber gern immer wieder im Sommer.

Gestern Abend am Stadtstrand war es genial. Tolle live Musik, mit guten Künstlern. Ambiente hervorragend, 😀 besser ging's nicht. Dem Veranstalter Boris ein großes Lob 😀. Adrien hat zur späteren Stunde noch gespielt als Ausklang. Alles in allem 👍

Sehr schöner Platz aber unterirdische Organisation (man muss wissen an welcher Schlange man sich anstellen muss, ist aber nicht gekennzeichnet). Der Service ist nicht besser, man hat das Gefühl man könnte dem Personal während der Arbeit die Hände Maniküre.

Hatten Besuch aus Berlin, die letzten tollen Sonnenstunden am Rhein einfach bezaubernd. Nur die Location einfach abgeranzte Sitzmöbel, Uringestank und Saftige Preise, da kann man sich einigen Bewertungen anschließen. Kauft Euch lieber ein Bierchen sonst wo und hockt Euch ans Ufer, da habt ihr mehr von 😉👍

Stau in Düsseldorf. Was tun? Parkplatz suchen und den Stadtstrand besuchen. Und nach ein paar Getränken mit Freunden ging es dann weiter. Ein toller Ort, mit Blick auf den Rhein und kalten Drinks.

Hab hier weder gegessen noch getrunken - nur blieb eine Weile um Livemusik zu hören. Einzigartige Atmosphere, klasse!

Suuuuper schön! Ein toller Sommerabend mit cooler Musik, leckeren Getränken, tolle Aussicht und lieber Begleitung. 🙏

Wir waren zum Food festival da. War ehr entäuschend. Die Auswahl war klein, genauso wie die Portionen. Hatten dann irgendwann einen Stand gefunden, der uns gefallen hat. Das Gelände war nicht nur voller Menschen, da es sehr eng ist, sondern schon nach der ersten Stunde alles voller Müll.

Tolle Location im Sommer, viele verschiedene Veranstaltungen und immer was los.

Tolle Atmosphäre um ein after Work Getränk zu genießen. Prefekt um einen sonnigen Abend in die Nacht hinein zu beenden. Wir hatten, wie jeden Donnerstag mit DJ Musik. Die Preise sind ok, aber Plätze sind gefühlt immer zu wenig.

Lohnt sich nicht. Hat mit bedingt mit Japan zu tun. Alles frittiert- kein Sushi. Für die größte japanische Community außerhalb Japans ein echtes Armutszeugnis. Nicht ein einziger Gatsronom aus Düsseldorf. Vielmehr eine holländische Veranstaltung. Sehr lieblos gemacht keine Stehtische zum Essen, kein Schatten, keine Sitzmöglichkeiten. Maximal 10 „Buden“.
