On Thursdays you can get the kebab for €5. My wife liked it and it was rich too. I had the kebab plate. Lots of meat, which was also very seasoned, and salad with cocktail sauce. Only the rice was a bit dry. Still great.
We had breakfast today with 13 people, it was just great, the service was great, super friendly, very attentive but not intrusive at all. The buffet is completely sufficient and fresh, everything your heart desires. All I can say is thank you to the great girls and this great, quiet location, it's like being at home in the living room. We would love to come back.
The ambience is visually very nice, but the volume of the people talking is unfortunately very loud. The food was good and tasty, but my Wiener Schnitzel, which is actually veal, tasted the same (consistency and taste) as my brother's Rustic Pork Schnitzel. Which then doesn't justify the expensive price of the Wiener Schnitzel or even make it worth it. The Wiener Schnitzel also had French fries which were OK, but there was no dip, mayonnaise or ketchup. The service was very friendly.
So, I'd give it 3.75 stars.
I've tried a few dishes there, and I have to say, sometimes I was satisfied, sometimes not. First and foremost, the service is top-notch, the staff are friendly, but the food sometimes has its problems.
Currywurst is top-notch,
Fries are top-notch,
Sweet potato fries are top-notch,
Burgers are top-notch,
The minced steak was very weak. It was more like a larger, dry meatball.
I found the steaks in general rather difficult, as you sometimes had to cut quite a bit to get something off.
Nevertheless, I always enjoy going there because we don't have much more choice in Cleverbrück.
