Il Ristorante Diana in Bad Schwartau

We ate here with some girls, unfortunately the service is subpar and the food is not worth the money. We ordered 3 dishes with mashed potatoes and 2 pizzas. The puree was bland and we were very sure it came from a bag. We asked the waiter about it, who asked in an incredibly flippant manner whether we even knew how to prepare puree. We were also pointed out that there was salt and pepper on the table - that's not possible! There were even more “funny” sayings that apparently only he could smile about. He then went into the kitchen, came back and explained to us that puree was fine, he had tried it and it definitely wouldn't come from a bag. I said we could judge that because we all cook every day, which was followed by a presumptuous statement that I would be happy to invite the gentleman to dinner. The manner was more than unpleasant. We left it like that. It didn't take long before he came back to apologize to a (!) lady, the cook had now tried it and it was true that the puree was not okay. As an apology, the lady received dessert on the house. Not the other two of us. We all ordered desserts and I paid relatively quickly afterwards and went to the toilet while the other ladies also paid. When I came back, the third lady who had eaten the puree had also paid and was given a waiver of dessert when I asked. For me - who also had puree and still paid for my dessert - it was really too stupid. If you treat guests like that, I can't understand it. Depending on your taste, apologies are made here and desserts are waived, but I know it differently. And the young man should be happy to avoid the innuendo, which was by no means within the scope of good taste. As well as tasting the food that the guests complained about, because that doesn't seem to be his forte. The only thing I consider positive is that he apologized for his misjudgment, but he should have done this to everyone involved. I don't think we will come back here again. Especially since there was little other service. Questions about satisfaction or simply whether you would like another drink were completely omitted. What are you resting on here? I only find the terrace very nice for the summer. But that doesn't take it out.

The pizzas actually deserve 5 stars and so does the friendliness and attentiveness of the service staff, but it is unbearably loud in the restaurant. The clatter of plates from the kitchen, the loud shouts from the waiters, the increasingly loud guests. The building's acoustics amplify all sounds. There is a lack of sound-absorbing furnishings such as tablecloths, curtains, or acoustic panels under the ceiling. The only way to entertain yourself is to shout at each other, which only makes the problem worse for the other guests.

Bruschetta a' € 8,50, Penne Arrabiata € 13,50 Penne Gorgonzola € 15,50 Offener Weißwein 0,2 ab € 8,50 Essen hat geschmeckt. Asiatische Bedienung freundlich, aber beim Zahlen schon aufdringlich beim Fordern von Trinkgeld. Musste auch noch € 10,00 beim Herausgeben nachfordern. Habe ich nicht mehr als Scherz empfunden. Preise bei geringem Wareneinsatz sind unseres Erachtens weit überhöht. So vergrault man Gäste. Werden nicht wieder kommen. Eigentlich schade !

Simply one of the best restaurants I've had the pleasure of getting to know so far. The food is simply pure enjoyment. The service is unique. You can tell that everyone enjoys their job and works with deep passion.

The restaurant belongs to the medium-priced category, but it also deserves the slightly higher prices. Very tasty food, good quality, good service, short waiting time. The ambience is not necessarily classic Italian, but modern with good space. Unfortunately you have to look for parking spaces a few meters away, otherwise everything is great!

My verdict as a tourist after the second visit: outstanding pizzas and excellent, authentic pasta! Ambiance is good for these premises. The background noise in the room isn't better, so it's a bit noisy.

Very, very good pizzas, small adjustments can be made upon request, for example if you can't eat ham but the other ingredients are fine. Super friendly service, prices justified. So we had a lovely 6th wedding anniversary.

We celebrated my mother's birthday with 15 people. The service was really great, the children always got a smile and the nice waiter always had a nice saying. The food was delicious, but I didn't think the price-performance ratio was quite right.

I read the reviews online and was surprised by the statements that were there. But now I had an appointment there and... unfortunately I had to discover that the statements were true, the staff wasn't clearly assigned, we had to wait half an hour until the order was taken. As soon as you enter the restaurant you notice the very high noise level. The prices are adjusted in the upper range. The food lacked the typical Italian taste. Last but not least, 6 people had forgotten my food, there was no word of apology or offer of a drink or espresso. Went there again today, food arrived after 1 hour, drinks were brought late or forgotten. A pity

The pizzas are quite good, the crust is great, and the prices are reasonable. Unfortunately the carpaccio wasn't as good as hoped, which is a shame. Recommended for a good pizza, in the shade of umbrellas, right on the market square in Bad Schwartau.

I had the pleasure of dining at this wonderful restaurant and all I can say is that the food tasted fantastic. The ambience was just as great and contributed significantly to an all-round successful experience. You can clearly see that this family practices gastronomy with heart and that the chefs live their profession. I can wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant and look forward to coming back soon.

At the weekend the three of us went to Ristorante Diana and had a good time. The food there is great, no matter what you choose.. The service is great and the prices are also within acceptable limits. What bothered us a little is the fact that the front area of ​​the restaurant is very busy due to the constant change of guests and also the take-out sales. But that's groaning on a high level and won't stop us from coming back here.

We went to the restaurant spontaneously and were lucky to get a table. The reception was very nice. The waiter was relaxed and very friendly. The food was very good. The ambience could do with some work.... The chairs are a bit old.... But the great service and the good food say 5 stars.

Pizza and the ambience are excellent 👍🏼The waiter ...probably doesn't like it when you order a large beer with your pizza at lunchtime.....and as a tourist you often come into the restaurant with a backpack. A pity

“Diana” is an Italian restaurant, which stands out from the mainstream and the competition in many ways. The restaurant is located on the market square in Bad Schwartau with numerous seats/tables both indoors and outdoors (in the open air). The quality of the food is excellent. Any kind of pizza is particularly recommended here. Which is no coincidence, because the Patrone became German pizza champion (winner of the trophy) in the years 2014-2018. The service is also very good. The staff is extremely friendly, helpful and quick. The price-performance ratio is “high” as usual in the industry, but given the quality, the prices for food and drinks are actually justified. The decor and ambience in the restaurant is modern and rather sober, at least not too typical of an Italian restaurant.

Great family business, very friendly service, good, super freshly prepared food (wait a little longer), newly renovated kitchen visible, best ingredients. Original Italian dishes. Best value for money. It's nice to sit inside and outside, dogs are allowed. Always my pleasure

Italian restaurant on the Bad Schwartauer market square. Never had such a great, attentive, fun-filled staff as there. And drank a delicious wine similar to Lambrusco. Ok, a 0.75 bottle cost just under 30 euros but we liked it so much that we drank 3 BOTTLES of it. There was delicious white bread with aioli on the house and see you soon.

The food at Ristorante Diana is really good! Unfortunately, you have to put up with the service of the especially male service staff, who give you the feeling that you can be grateful to even have a table here. Everything is missing here: friendliness, asking if you liked it, a smile or, at the end, asking if you would like a schnapps on the house. You can actually do better, it's a shame we are regular guests but unfortunately we are increasingly drawn to your competitors in the immediate area because both the service and the food are good here! Update: Something has happened, the service is now good, we were there again and were very impressed this time! There was even the obligatory schnapps on the house! We'll be back more often! 🤗

I've been here twice now and both times I was very impressed with the food and the service. The pasta and pizza were excellent and I will be raving about them for a long time. Ambiance gets a star deducted because it gets very loud in the restaurant because it is quite reverberant. But with the good food and a delicious wine you can easily ignore it 😁

The two of us visit Diana on a weekday at 6:30 p.m. without having booked a table. No problem, there are several tables to choose from; The restaurant is moderately busy, but fills up increasingly within the next hour. The welcome is friendly, the menus are attractively designed and offer a varied selection. I decide on a Pizza Vegetaria for €15.90, which turns out to be delicious, sumptuous and with a variety of toppings. There's also a small Pilsner for €3.70. Both were served after a reasonable waiting time. So far 5 stars... If only there wasn't this huge noise from the open kitchen with all the clattering and clattering! As if that weren't enough, the ventilation system is running at full speed, which creates a humming and vibration throughout the entire restaurant, which we found so annoying, especially in the area towards Lübecker Straße, that we asked for a table on the other side. But the vibration could be felt there too, even if only quietly. We will come back, but only when the tables outside are available again.

As we all know, tastes are different. For our taste, Diana has the best pizza in the entire area. We often drive from Scharbeutz to Lübeck to get something from Diana's delivery service. So far we have only ever had 1a pizza. We'd love to come back

We couldn't get a table without a reservation, but the waiter found a place. Friendly and attentive service. We had calzones, pizza, bread with dip and bruschetta. Everything was delicious. The vegetables were fresh and crunchy. The pizza dough was incredible. We will be back definitely. But next time with a reservation

Sehr lecker die Pizza, schöner Teig mit gutemBelag, man konnte vom Platz aus Teilweise die Zubereitung beobachten. Service sehr nett und bemüht, Restaurant komplett voll, man sitz trotzdem angenehm. Sehr zu empfehlen

Zu zwei sind wir das erste Mal hier eingekehrt. Einmal Penne Arrabiata, einmal Tortellini alla Panna, ein Pizzabrot. Die Preise sprechen für sich. Völlig übertrieben, denn: Nudel verkocht, Arrabiata schmeckt wie aus einem Glas Fertigsosse , Tortellini komplett Geschmachslos, nur Sahne. Keine Frage, ob es schmeckt, nicht mal beim Bezahlen. Das Pizzabrot war keinen Euro Wert. Genau wie die völlig überzogenen Getränkepreise. Kein Tischtuch, kein fester Kellner. Es durfte jeder mal ran. Man fühlt sich wie auf dem Bahnhof. Leider kommt ein Besuch nie wieder für uns in Betracht.

Wir gehen essen, um einen Geschmack zu erleben, den wir zu Hause in unserer Küche nicht erkochen können. Leider ist dies dem Restaurant auch nicht gelungen. Zwei mal Pasta, ohne Geschmackserlebnis. Pasta war nicht aldente, Soße schmeckt wie aus dem Barillaglas, die andere Pasta war pure Sahne ohne Gewürz. Niemand fragte, ob es schmeckt. Und das ganze für fast 15€ pro Teller. Ein trockenes Pizzabrot bekam man für 7,50€ dazu. Olivenöl war nicht aufzutreiben. Leider nichts für einen zweiten Besuch bei dieser Qualität und den völlig überzogenen Preisen. Nur den billigen Tütenkäse gab es gratis dazu. Schade

Immer gerne da, super leckeres Essen und freundliches Personal! Wurden noch kein mal enttäuscht, absoluter Lieblings Italiener in Lübeck.

Ein ganz besonderer Italiener bei dem es nicht nur Pizza (vom deutschen Meister Bäcker) gibt, sondern auch Pasta und grandiose Fleisch- und Fischgerichte. Das Ambiente im Herzen Bad Schwartau's ist ansprechend und der Service sehr gut. Il Diana ist wirklich immer einen Besuch wert.

Hier war wirklich nichts in Ordnung. Wir waren mit 4 Personen dort essen. Kellner übersah uns gekonnt und anschließend beglückte er uns mit ausgeprägter Arroganz. Als ich den Wein zurück gegeben habe, der total muffig roch und verkorkt war, rollte er mit den Augen. Nach langer Wartezeit kam unser Essen.......von den hausgemachten Nudeln war sowenig auf dem Teller, dass wir erst dachten es wäre ein Scherz. Weit gefehlt. Reichte nicht zum satt werden. Meine Lasagne war irgendwie verkocht und ohne Geschmack. Auch die Pizzen waren nicht der Hit, sehr trocken. Das einzige was stimmte war der hohe Preis. Fazit: Essen geschmacklich negativ und recht kleine Portionen. Kein stimmiges Preis Leistungsverhältnis. Arrogante Bedienung. Absolut keine Weiterempfehlung

Das Essen ist wirklich eine Empfehlung wert, der Service ist sehr freundlich und immer bemüht es einem gut gehen zulassen. Einzig die Geräuschkulisse, wenn es voll ist, ist etwas laut. Die Preise sind finde ich für die gebotene Qualität fair.

Wir waren zum ersten Mal beim Il Ristorante Diana und wir waren weder begeistert noch enttäuscht, es war einfach nur in Ordnung.

Sehr nettes Personal, sehr gute Empfehlungen. Das Pizzabrot mit Spanferkel so lecker. Man sollte aber vorab einen Tisch reservieren. Liebe Grüße aus Berlin.

Spagetti Carbonara harika. İçerde ağır bir deniz ürünü kokusu var, ilk başta hoşuma gitti ama sonra üstümüze sindi pek hoş değil. Her şey çok lezzetliydi.

Sehr schöner Pavillon, mit aufmerksamen und höflichen Mitarbeitern. Hier gibt es eine der besten Pizzen die ich bisher gegessen habe. Leider kommen wir nicht aus der Gegend, sonst würden wir sicher öfter vorbei kommen.

Eine exzellente Küche im Preis Leistung Verhältnis sehr positiv. Und nan hat das seltenes Erlebnis von sehr netter Bedienung
