Cozy home feeling.
They have a clearly marked vegetarian menu which I think is great.
I ordered the spinach dumplings. The dumplings themselves were delicious. There was also a little butter, but in general it was all a bit too dry for me. A sauce with it would have been good. The prices for drinks and food are quite expensive.
Practical for people with children, because they have converted a corner behind the spiral staircase into a children's corner.
We reserved a table in the smoking area in a large group and were then seated at a table where there wasn't enough people. When we pointed this out to the lady, the answer was "yes, you can move together and it'll be fine." The best thing was that my food came when everyone else at the table had already eaten and I waited almost 1.5 hours until she came to take a look and then realized that she had forgotten my food. We weren't served an hour before closing time and were then just thrown out the door half an hour later. I would also like to point out that the lady smelled strongly of alcohol and said so when collecting the money, which is why we should do the math again to be on the safe side.
I've never seen anything like that!
I ordered with colleagues via Lieferando. We had to wait 2 hours for the food, and then the food was also cold. And when we called and asked where our food was, I was told the driver was on the way and it took another 30 minutes until he was with us, even though the journey time would be a maximum of 20 minutes. We definitely won't be ordering there again.
Unfriendly, overpriced, tasted ok. Hygiene... Oh well.
I stood in the store and watched the gentleman lick his fingers to get a better grip on the bags and then roll the Turkish pizza without washing his hands 🤢 that's really crazy to do that so openly in front of the customer! During my previous visits I often had the impression that he got up from the table behind the house and didn't wash his hands before touching the food. You don't want to be petty, I thought, hopefully he'll have washed his hands after the last toilet...
But now I've decided not to go there anymore.
The portions are getting smaller and more expensive anyway, so I'd rather drive a little further to the next store!
That was nothing. Easter 2025 staff completely overloaded and disorganized. Main course still not in sight after 2 hours. Sometimes we get food from the other table in between. Aborted after more than 2 hours. Sorry, needs to be better. Fewer day guests and/or reservations would be the solution with fresh staff.
Started strong and faded even stronger again....
Everywhere is open and generally the shop is always closed 🤔
At the beginning the price/performance ratio was great and everything was good except for the waiting time. Definitely not recommended now. The last order was really bad. You can forget something or let it burn, but that's not a permanent situation.... It's a real shame
After having two very disappointing experiences in the brasserie, we will no longer be going there.
The first time we went there for dinner with 5 people.
Despite the outside area being only moderately full, we waited 45 minutes for our food.
In my opinion, the sauce for my cream schnitzel was just a mixed ready-made sauce. The children had schnitzel with fries. The total bill came to 115 euros. What we found really cheeky was that you get charged extra for the 2 sachets of ketchup and mayo. That doesn't make a good impression.
Yesterday we were there for the breakfast buffet. I was truly horrified by what we found, or rather what we didn't find, at the buffet.
For the proud price of €15.90 there were cheap baked rolls from the discounter. The sausage and cheese were also cheap. You had to pay extra for drinks, there was only a small glass of orange juice. An absolute disgrace for the price. You're not even used to that in expensive Frankfurt.
For that price, I actually expect bread rolls from the bakery, butcher goods, local specialties and filter coffee as well as water and juice.
I suspect that the restaurant can only survive due to a lack of alternatives.
