Roast tender and crispy, lots of sauce. Very good pilsner on tap (Lahnsteiner).

We were there today on September 5th, the food was excellent, we had beef beer goulash which was quite tender and without fat with three dumplings and a sausage salad which was even served with fried potatoes. Everything tasted excellent, we each had two wines, which was also very tasty and what we liked best was the friendly service! A very, very nice and communicative person, thank you very much again for the nice service! Greetings from mom and daughter from Paderborn!

We have been eating at the Idarer Brauhaus for two years. At the beginning everything was very good: ambience, food, service. But it continued to decline. The food can only be compared to a snack: quick, boring, without pizzazz and tasteless. The atmosphere, especially in the outdoor area, is sad. Put dried plants in pots, open a parasol; only in an emergency. But the weeds are growing everywhere! The service was friendly, it has to be said. When I asked if there was a ban on watering the plants, I was told “no, not really.” But no one noticed how bad it looked! Too bad! There is a lot that can be improved with very simple means! I can't say whether the food is the same!

The Brauhausschnitzel was a joke for the price, totally overpriced, almost nothing on the plate and not tasty.

We always enjoy going to the Idarer Brauhaus. The food and beer (Augustiner and Tegernseer taste delicious) are very good, the service is friendly. But... The portions have shrunk extremely since the beginning of the year and have become expensive. Which man would want to be full with 5 pieces of meat in a goulash and two mini dumplings? The schnitzels are also more like children's schnitzels. The Brauhaus Burger is really tasty, but only a small handful of fries is rather “manageable”. 😒

Food was very tasty, staff was very friendly and quick. We sat outside, but due to the location right on the traffic circle it was a bit noisy. But we sat under a tree in the bright sunshine that gave us shade. We could cope with the car noise. We would eat there again.

Pancakes with strawberries and ice cream were very tasty, with coffee with milk. Prices reasonable.

Discovered it by chance on Google and decided to test the brewery. And lo and behold, a great, rustic restaurant with a really great play area for the kids and friendly service. The lady told us to have the children's food delivered as a starter and then our food later. And the tip was great. We were able to enjoy our meal in peace and the kids continued to play in the play area. We ordered the large salad with yogurt dressing and mushrooms and the Jägerschnitzel and for the kids the kids menu with fish fingers. There was enough salad in quantity and very tasty. Schnitzel was fresh and with crispy fries and the kids were also very happy with their fish fingers. The only point of criticism relates to the mushrooms ordered with the salad, which cost an additional charge of 4 euros. This can also be cheaper or the portion should be larger. And you might expect home-brewed beer from a brewery, which wasn't the case. The beer was the Bitburger brand and I would expect that they already sell beer from the region, for example. Kirner beer. Price-performance ratio was okay and the food tasted good. Towards midday it got busier and the atmosphere and hecticness of the service became a little more stressed.

Food was amazing, the staff (I don’t know if because they were busy) but I didn’t feel very welcomed. However, I enjoyed my food.

Very nice staff, The dishes looked very appetizing, but I only drank a coffee. I thought the price for the coffee was a bit high at €3.50 but it was tasty😂 The restaurant has a beautiful design and you can sit comfortably inside or outside.

Wait staff spoke enough English to help us. Food was amazing. My wife got the Cordon Bleu and I got the both were great. Hers was absolutely amazing. Great dessert do not hesitate come to this place

The food was good, the roast roast unfortunately had no crust, but was very tasty and with a good sauce. The burgers were good, the side salad was only partially fresh. Given the prices, I expect a fresher salad here. All in all good.

Very fine food and good beer selection

It's a cozy brewery but the food is just OK. The burger and fries were quite good. The sauce could have been better and the roll was a really cheap, dry one like you bought at a discount store. But the veal schnitzel was subpar. One schnitzel was completely riddled with tendons and therefore really not edible. The service was quite sloppy but friendly.

This is such a great little spot. I love the family friendly accommodations with a place for little ones to play. Very beautifully decorated, very clean, full of charm. The food was all very good and love a good in house beer

18 people arrived at 2200 p.m. There was virtually no flexibility to stay a little longer. So there is no business sense. Service was nice, management was a flop. You can get a lot out of it. Too bad.

Waren mit mehreren Personen zum Essen dort, allerdings mit Reservierung. Alles was ich gesehen habe an Essen sah lecker aus und hat auf meine Nachfrage hin auch entsprechend geschmeckt. Ein nettes Restaurant im rustikalen Ambiente.

Meine Reservierung war dem anwesenden Personal nicht bekannt. Bei allen Hauptspeisen fehlte der Beilagensalat. Zum Zwiebelrostbraten wurden, statt der angekündigten Kartoffelbeilage, Spätzle gereicht. Insgesamt vergebe ich trotzdem 5 Sterne❗ Das Essen hat sehr gut geschmeckt und das Personal war super. Danke

In diesem Lokal kann man gut essen, Service ist super, Preise sind normal nur zu empfehlen.

Kleine Feier abgehalten mit ehem.KollegenInnen, alles hat gepasst. Hatte Hirschgulasch mit Spätzle und.Rotkohl sehr lecker zubereitet

Wir waren Samstag Morgens zum Frühstücken hier. Die Vesperplatten waren frisch und reichlich. Der Service war ausgezeichnet und wir werden bald wiederkommen!! Zur Verabschiedung haben wir noch einige touristische Tipps aus der Region bekommen die wir dankend angenommen haben und nun ausprobieren werden.

Schöner gemütlicher Gastraum,so wie man es erwartet im Brauhaus Sehr nette Bedienung ,Service war top, Nur leider das Essen, Wiener Backhendel hat uns nicht geschmeckt.Das Huhn war sehr zäh und trocken,geschmacklich keine gute Qualität leider,Pommes,Salat und Sauercreme waren gut. Unsere sachliche Kritik wurde aber von der Bedienung freundlich entgegen genommen. Das ist ja nicht immer der Fall. Alles in allem "Schade"

Wir (3 Erwachsene und 4 Kinder zwischen 3 und 10 Jahren) waren spontan zum Mittagessen hier. Superfreundliches Personal, aufmerksam und mega kinderfreundlich. Sogar mit liebevoll eingerichteter Spielecke. 👍 Dass auch noch das Essen sehr lecker war, hat den Aufenthalt abgerundet. Egal ob Schnitzel, Burger oder das Wildgulasch, alles reichlich und gut. Preis-Leistung auch ok. Die Kindergerichte hätten gerne noch einen € günstiger sein dürfen, aber das ist wirklich Jammern auf sehr hohem Niveau. Die Kids wollten direkt am nächsten Tag wieder hin. 😅 vielen Dank 👏

Super Bedienung, tolles und leckeres Essen. Ambiente typisch für ein kleines Brauhaus.

Ich hatte Medaillons in Rahmsauce mit Spätzle. Das Fleisch war sehr trocken und leider zu wenig Sauce. Die Portionsgröße war gut.

Sehe lecker und schöne Atmosphäre. Nur zu empfehlen👌 PS: Sehr aufmerksame und freundliche Bedienung.

Habe da einen sehr schönen Abend verbracht. Das Essen (vegetarisch) war gut und das Bier 🍺 wohlschmeckend.

Das Brauhaus befindet sich gegenüber der Börse, am Kreisel im Stadtteil Idar, in der Fußgängerzone. Leicht zu finden, wenn man nach Oberstein fährt (gibt nur Einbahnstraßen, dass man sich nicht verfahren kann).Freundliche Service, gutes Essen und nicht überteuerte Preise. Ich komme gerne wieder.

Super schönes Ambiente, sehr gemütlich und einladend!! Freundliches & aufmerksames Personal. Eine ausgezeichnete Küche, egal ob Frühstück, Suppe, vegetarische oder klassische Hauptgerichte. Sehr gute "bayrische/österreichische" Küche

Wenn das Wetter mitspielt, ist es schön im freien zu sitzen, das Essen war gut, und der Service auch.

Speisekarte hatte für mich genug Auswahl. Preisleistungsverhältnis ist ok. Bedienung war recht flott. An den Tischen draußen ist es zumindest Mittag etwas laut, da direkt neben dem Platz ein großer Kreisverkehr ist.

Ein zweites und letztes Mal haben wir versucht die heimische Gastronomie zu unterstützen. Auch dieses Mal empfängt uns eine unhöfliche und schlecht gelaunte 20igerin (Mittel lange, dunkle Haare) und weist uns Tische zu. Es war offenbar nichts reserviert und alle Tische hatten Platz für viele Personen. Als wir einen anderen Tisch haben wollten. Drehte sie sich genervt um und ging. Da wir beim ersten Besuch auch nicht besonders gut gegessen hatten verließen wir das Brauhaus. Kein Grund sich schlecht behandeln zu lassen. Das Ambiente ist dazu auch noch ungemütlich.

Ik had niet gereserveerd, maar ondanks dat het redelijk vol was, kreeg ik toch snel een plaatsje toegewezen. De bediening kon iets vlotter, maar het eten was super lekker en de prijs was voor de kwaliteit en hoeveelheid heel schappelijk.

Abends draußen sitzend ein paar Bier und etwas essen. An allem gab es nichts zu kritisieren, der Service war gut, das Essen (Burger bzw. Nudeln) auch. Leider wurde die VISA-Karte nicht akzeptiert. Anders als der Name suggeriert, keine Gasthausbrauerei.

Gezellig op terras gegeten ondanks de drukte van het verkeer wat ons niet stoorde. Het was er nog niet druk maar de meeste tafeltjes waren gereserveerd. Wij hadden niet gereserveerd maar hadden omdat we vroeg waren nog een plekje We aten een goulash soep die erg lekker was. Erna een vegetarisch gerecht wat mij goed smaakte. De bediening was vriendelijk. Het eten werd snel geserveerd

Wir hätten gerne bei euch zu neunt zu Abend gegessen. Was ist passiert? Wir hatten schon den ganzen Mittag mit 6 oder 7 Leuten im Biergarten des Idaer Hofes gesessen und alles war super und entspannt. Zwei nette Bedienungen waren mit uns auf Augenhöhe und es gab nicht zu meckern. Nach dem Personalwechsel: Wir gaben bei der neuen Bedienung zwei leere o,5l Gläser ab und bestellten wie vorher auch zwei „Halbe“, ein Bier und ein Weinschorle. Sie brachte ein Bier und ein kleines 0,2l Glas Weinschorle. Wäre ja kein Problem und wir erklärten ihr das wir lieber eine große Weinschorle gewollt hätten. Darauf erwiderte sie genervt, dass wir uns dann eben besser artikulieren sollten. „Upps, aller hob“ Nebenan in der Brasserie war es auch schön, das Essen war super und die Leute waren supernett.

Per toeval binnen gekomen met een 'eetbon' van het Opal hotel en blijven plakken. Een wel heel gezellig 'eetcafé' waar het voortdurend vol zit met locals. Je bent er meer dan welkom in een gezellig kader. De kaart is typisch duits maar heel correct kwa prijzen. Ook de porties zijn ruim voldoende. Ideaal adres, bij warm weer ook op het terras op het leuke pleintje. DOEN

Nous avons déjeuné dans ce cadre superbe. L’accueil est chaleureux, la qualité des mets est excellente et le prix plus que raisonnable. En plus nous avons pu emporter le reste car les portions sont généreuses.

Das Ambiente ist ganz schön und der Service sehr zuvorkommend. In einem Brauhaus erwarte ich mir aber dann doch ein gutes selbst gebrautes Bier. Auch wenn das auf der Speisekarte erklärt war, ist es schade. Das Essen (Brauhausschnitzel) war für mich mit einer Einheitssoße versehen. Und etwas geschmacksneutral. Was toll ist, ist die Kinderspielecke. Alles in allem solide, hat meine Erwartungen aber leider nicht ganz getroffen.

Auch Brauhausküche kann pfiff haben.... hier leider nur wenig vorhanden. Das Steak statt medium, WELL DONE. Knödel waren wie Tennisbälle. Service und Bier waren ok
