There were many highlights tonights: tuna, langoustines, chicken, lamb and bananamouse. But Salvatore was the undisputed king: he made us feel extremely welcome.
We wanted to meet here today with dear friends for a cozy chat over dinner. And we weren't disappointed. Ambiance, service, drinks, food - everything was great. Even the piano was used, a great evening that we will remember fondly.
I had a voucher from the store and went out to eat with my girlfriend. My pizza was a bit charred and the mixture was too thick for my taste. My friend had a salad, which she thought was delicious. I found the place expensive.
The Lommi cutlet from the weekly menu was simply bliss. The dishes on the menu are also very good. Kudos to the kitchen. Service staff are very friendly.
As part of an Ahrtal campaign you could enjoy a 3-course menu. Very tasty. Beautifully prepared and professionally served. Thank you for a delicious evening.. we'll be back..
First of all, I'd like to say that I was there exclusively for dinner with a group of five as part of a training course. Therefore, I can't provide much information about the hotel, but I can provide some information about the restaurant: I'd especially like to express my sincere praise for the wine list: lovely items and extremely fair prices, thank you very much for that. Overall, the dishes were all delicious, very well-crafted, and very solidly presented. I personally felt that the compositions, or rather the number and quality of the ingredients, lacked a bit of creativity, and I felt like I was transported back to the 2010s in culinary terms.
Unfortunately, the service team, consisting of two ladies, was having a bad day—I've been working in service for several years myself and don't think a smile at a guest's table is necessarily a bad thing. Unfortunately, the interactions with the staff were consistently cold, at times reserved, and/or lecturing to all the guests at our table. A shame.
The lack of cordiality and the lack of a farewell unfortunately left a bitter taste in my mouth and that of the other guests at the table, as we certainly enjoyed the food and drinks.
