Weinstube & Vinothek - Winzerhof Körtgen in Bad Neuenahr-Ahrweiler

We spontaneously spent a lovely evening here with delicious wine and small snacks (cheese, olives, appetizer platter), met some nice new people and had a great time chatting.

This was my second time at Körtgens, and it was simply fantastic. The reservation via email worked very well. The courtyard is beautiful. It's a wonderful place to sit in the summer. The dining room is also stylish and beautifully decorated. You just feel really comfortable and it invites you to linger. The food is excellent, and every dish is a delight. There aren't many dishes, but they are all super freshly prepared. The price-performance ratio is very good. We received very friendly service and felt completely at home. Thank you very much 🙏

Despite booking at short notice, we were able to make a reservation, and we enjoyed a delicious meal. The atmosphere was beautiful and the service was friendly. We felt very comfortable, as did the apartment, which was beautifully furnished and comfortable. We'll definitely be back!

This place is definitely good value for money. We had a lovely afternoon and enjoyed truly delicious and beautifully presented food.

The food was excellent, the service team very attentive and friendly, and the wines, of course, are also very good. A little tip: Make a reservation in advance via the website, and if you prefer a quieter setting, it's best to reserve the small room with the bar.

Outstanding food (2 years in Germany and probably best meal out so far) and great wine. And added bonus of decent service. Completely full on a Wednesday evening so do book dinner in advance.

We were looking forward to a visit, as the website stated the kitchen is open until 8:30 p.m. Unfortunately, by 7:50 p.m., it wasn't even possible to order a small cheese platter. I found that a shame, as I had hoped for more hospitality and service in this area. Perhaps things could be made a little more transparent or flexible in the future—that would certainly make the stay much more pleasant.

This year we visited the Körtgen winery for the second time. And once again, we absolutely loved it. The Kastanie apartment is very spacious and tastefully furnished. The kitchen has everything you need. The winery courtyard and wine bar are perfect for enjoying wine. A wonderful place to feel good. We'd love to come back next year.

I've never experienced such impertinent service. When I asked for the bill after an excellent meal in a cozy atmosphere and otherwise very courteous service, a young woman appeared for the first time with her digital billing computer. After I asked for a paper bill, she didn't seem enthusiastic and reluctantly stated that she would have to go back to the restaurant for it. She also made a derogatory remark about me to my companion! When she returned with the bill, due to her unbelievable behavior, I still left a tip, albeit a small one, which she commented on by saying that nice guests would have rounded up to €80 instead of €75. UNBELIEVABLE!!! This rather spoiled an otherwise pleasant evening. My one-star rating for service is due to this person. Rolf Schumacher Attorney

After our civil wedding, we dined and celebrated in a small group at the wine bar – and it was simply perfect! From the initial contact, through the wine selection to the menu, we were treated warmly, professionally, and with great attention to detail. All our wishes were taken into account, and the table was set and prepared with great care. The ambiance in the wine bar with its courtyard is stylish, intimate, and cozy – just the thing for a special occasion. The meal was a real highlight: delicious, beautifully presented, and a resounding success with all guests. It was prepared to perfection, for all guests at the same time, and with perfect spacing between courses. A huge thank you to the entire team for the excellent organization, attentive service, and relaxed atmosphere. We couldn't have wished for a better place for our special day! The friendliness and service were completely below expectations. The daily special, spaghetti with chanterelles, was delicious, but the chanterelles were missing. Therefore, the price-performance ratio is abysmal.

The ambiance is stylish, inviting, and relaxed at the same time – you immediately feel at home. But the real highlight was the service: attentive, warm, and professional – I've rarely been treated so well! Everything was absolutely perfect. We'll definitely be back – highly recommended!

A real treat for people with taste.

From June 28th to July 5th, 2025, we spent a week at the Remise holiday apartment, enjoying the delicacies in the wine bar and wine shop. The apartment is excellent, and we will be returning next year. We would like to sincerely thank the entire team for their friendliness, attentiveness, and professionalism. Their patience in dealing with difficult guests deserves special mention.

Zum wiederholten Mal verbrachten wir im Winzerhof Körtgen eine schöne Urlaubswoche. Mit der Remise haben wir die kleinste der drei Ferienwohnungen genutzt, für 2 Personen locker ausreichend. Es blieben keine Wünsche offen. In der Winzerstube selbst haben wir uns an den vorzüglichen Produkten aus Keller und Küche gütlich getan. Auch der Service war ausgezeichnet. Wir sind nicht zum letzten Mal da gewesen.

The service was very friendly and helpful despite not having a reservation. The wine cellar was wonderful, and the braised pork cheek/fillet was incredibly tender.

Ein tolles Restaurant mit einem sehr schönen Innenhof. Der Service war absolut top, das Essen war klasse, der Weißwein und der Sekt waren sehr gut, der Rotwein war nicht ganz unser Geschmack. Ich habe lange nicht mehr so gut gegessen (bin frequent Traveller). Eine tolle Erfahrung. Ich werde definitiv wiederkommen. Vielen Dank an Küche und Personal!!!

Had been shown a good spot at first, but was asked to move to make room for a larger group, this gave me the single table by the toilets, the fact that restaurants still do this shows that they are not interested in passion and craftsmanship but in money. The food was also not special, fried potatoes and roast beef, with remulade sauce that lacked capers.

In our opinion, this is the most beautiful winery in the Ahr Valley. We've been going there for many years. Delicious food, great wines, and the owners and staff are very friendly. We've also attended many events, which were always absolutely wonderful. Every visit is like a day of vacation! Thank you so much.

We met for the wine spring awakening at Körtgen. I like entering through a great gate. The yard is beautifully laid out, the beautifully cut potted plants everywhere make it cozy. The service is friendly and fairly quick. ☀️ 🍇🍲 to eat - it's really very tasty, I had a beef roulade, previously oil sardine, with the beef roulade I had a newly interpreted asparagus/soup, which was a bit thin and not spicy at all - salt on it, works fine 🍾The wines are popular and fit in, everything tastes very good to me. The sparkling wine was all tasty and I would give it to my friends at home on the weekend. outstanding work! In the evening the usual Ahr tourist came with a bacardist straw fedora👒, musically with Helene Fischer bawling and pink Vaude softshell weatherproof jackets. It's okay and only bothers a few people. A more tolerant attitude towards THC would be desirable. come on | 2025 🥦 9/10 ⭐️ cheers!

What a great evening! The food was consistently delicious - you can tell that the cooking here is done with a lot of love and skill. Every course was convincing, but the dessert really topped everything: the vanilla panna cotta was an absolute dream! Creamy, not too sweet, with a subtle vanilla note – simply perfect. Plus rhubarb compote and elderberry buttermilk ice cream with a raspberry flavor and a hint of mint. The service was also super friendly and attentive without being intrusive. You feel in good hands all around. I'll definitely be back - just for this incredibly delicious, very special panna cotta dessert!

We were here in mid-December and spent a very nice evening at the picturesque Christmas market in Ahrweiler, which is, by the way, the most beautiful/atmospheric/well-kept Christmas market that I know. We had reserved a table days before and were really looking forward to our meal as it wasn't our first time there. The ambience in the restaurant is very nice, although a bit noisy. The service was friendly and the food was very good considering the price. We'll be back!!!

I haven't been surprised so pleasantly in a long time. We discovered the restaurant on Google, even though we didn't have a reservation. When Ms. Körtgen called, we were promised a place. Well noticed: between the years, when there is a strong booking situation in town. And there was nothing left to get from us in the hotel or “next door”. And then - so delicious! The wines were great - we had the aged Pinot Gris and the Pinot Blanc. Both great cinema! The beef broth was very tasty, today I had the vegetarian dish with potato gratin and lamb's lettuce, strong! Great roasted flavors, great salad dressing. My wife had the cod, also very tasty and well prepared. The service was very pleasant and friendly and made good wine recommendations. I would like to come here again in the future.

Nachdem wir letztes Jahr so begeistert waren, haben wir dieses Jahr wieder einen Tisch zum gemeinsamen Gänseessen mit Freunden reserviert. Leider war die Enttäuschung groß. Statt der ausgeschriebenen Gänsekeule gab es auf dem Teller 3 kleine Scheiben Gänsebrust und ein Stückchen Knochen mir etwas Fleisch. Das ganze wurde recht lieblos mit 2 Klößen in der Größe von Golfbällen und zerkochtem Rotkohl serviert. Der Geschmack der Gans war gut, aber der Teller hatte nichts mit dem Foto auf der Webseite gemein und das ganze wirkte wie: wir haben nicht mehr genug und müssen das Essen strecken. Für 34,90 war das nichts. Wie schade.

Die Ferienwohnung war sehr gemütlich eingerichtet und gut ausgestattet, die Matratzen waren bequem. Wir sind mit einer Flasche Wein begrüßt worden.

We stayed with the Körtgen family for 6 days in October. We had booked 2 holiday apartments. The ambience of the two holiday apartments is very nice and pleasant and we felt very comfortable. The facilities have everything you need. The tour of the wine cellar was very informative, Mr. Körtgen conveyed the information about the wine and generally about the Ahr Valley and the reconstruction very well. We'll definitely be back. We had a great stay at the Winzerhof. The apartment was very clean, nicely furnished and cozy. The wine tasting and the service in the restaurant and wine shop left nothing to be desired. Very cozy atmosphere. The food is prepared almost like in a star restaurant and the offering is very good. The service is very friendly and quick. The wines are all of excellent quality. The cellar tour with wine tasting is recommended on Wednesdays; you can learn a lot of interesting things from the area and the winery. A little tip: you should definitely reserve a table in advance to eat (you can do this easily via the Internet). The wine bar with small dishes is also recommended.

We siblings ate there on Thursday (thank God we still got a table). I have rarely eaten something so delicious. You could see and taste the love of cooking. 1000 stars for this wonderful evening with delicious food and delicious wine 🍷. Rounded off by the great service. We settled into the Remise apartment at the Winzerhof Körtgen for 10 days. When we arrived we found a clean and beautifully furnished holiday apartment. We spent lovely days in the middle of the old town of Ahrweiler and can only recommend the house.

Wir waren 5 Tage in der Wohnung Kastanie untergebracht. Sie ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und wir fühlten uns wie zuhause. Auch die Restauration ist ausgezeichnet mit entsprechendem Ambiente.

Wir waren hier für 6 Tage im Appartement Rebstock. Es war damals der heißeste Tag des Jahres (36°C). Leider konnten wir die Wärme nicht mehr aus dem Haus holen, da es keine Klimaanlage gibt. Ansonsten ist es ein wunderschön renoviertes Haus. Wo alles vorhanden ist. Der Kontakt zum Vermieter ist super, z. B. wo man parken kann und wo der Schlüssel ist.

Very nice wine bar. Video library with restaurant. The Ahrweiler wines are simply great. The food was also excellent. Be sure to try dessert too. Here the chef always comes up with something special. Reservations are absolutely recommended.

Absolutely brilliant food. There were six of us there, both meat and fish dishes were all homemade to a very high standard, there was no convenience kitchen anywhere, fresh and regional ingredients. According to the menu, even the smoked salmon comes from a smokehouse in the area. My personal highlight were the vegetarian spinach dumplings in sage butter with parmesan, extremely aromatic, the chef has a new fan! As is usual in the Ahr Valley, there is of course good wine at good prices. In general, one has to say that the prices in this restaurant are more than fair for the service offered. All in all, a great overall package. Everything was right here!

Die FeWo ist ausgezeichnet und deswegen werden wir im nächsten Jahr wiederkommen. Dem gesamten Team möchten wir sehr herzlich für Freundlichkeit, Aufmerksamkeit und Professionalität danken. Besonders der Langmut im Umgang mit schwierigen Gästen ist hervorzuheben.
