Very tasty, the atmosphere is more for old people, but the food is completely right 😉

In your defense: we were greeted with the words “4 times Ahrtal menu?” It started: instead of a camembert, we were served a mixed Gouda. Especially on toast and a very small portion. The dessert was a lava cake, which I can't say anything about because I didn't want to eat it anymore because... The MAIN COURSE (!!!) was such a disgrace that I can hardly put it into words! The fries were half raw, the turkey meat in your mouth was like a desert, the beef was of the cheapest quality. The blood ran onto the plate even though it was cooked through! The pig was still somewhat OK. I only ate the champions, which were pretty okay. During this I sat in front of an empty glass for 15 minutes! 2 stars for the service because they gave me a round of schnapps afterwards and I got 30 euros back. Were there for the first time with 4 people and never again! I'm sorry but I've never seen anything like that in my life!

I went there twice for the first time a few months ago and was very impressed with the quality of the steak and the service. Unfortunately I can no longer say that after my second visit. I ordered the rump steak (300g) and what I was served was shocking. The steak was light in color, as if it had been precooked rather than fried, and was overcooked; I ordered it medium rare, but received it well done. Waiter service remains unchanged. Still world class The atmosphere in the restaurant was good, even though we didn't have a table reservation. They found a free table for us under the tent at the back.

Very cozy and lovingly furnished. Price/performance ratio very good. The food was great, very nice and lovely service.

Were on March 9th. There at lunchtime. Because everything inside was reserved, we took a seat in the garden. The 3 stars for the ambience refer to the flair outside. Could be designed better. A little color, a little quiet music and a little cosiness. So that's it for quiet criticism. The service was extremely quick and honestly friendly. The pre-salad was very fresh and tasty. We had steak 200gr. and grill plates. The fries are made from clean fat, the meat is medium fried and au point. My grill plate was very well stocked and definitely worth the price. After paying we were offered a “schnapps on the house”. Unfortunately we drove from further away, so no alcohol. We will go there again, but definitely make reservations. The people are doing a very good job.

We had dinner there yesterday. Space outside on the terrace, great with a heater. Service very attentive and friendly, dog gets water immediately. Food and wine excellent. Meat excellent and fried to perfection. Nice waiters! At the end there is a nightcap on the house. A successful evening. Gladly again.

We were there on Friday 2/21/25 and ordered a menu. The starter, baked Camembert on toast - delicious! The main course - 3 different pieces of meat - very tender and tasted perfect; the rest of course too :) For dessert there were chocolate cakes with a liquid center, ice cream and cream. The service is friendly and accommodating. We definitely recommend it!! We would love to come back.

I really don't write reviews often, but I just had to do it here... we were here today to celebrate a birthday and had steaks. This was by far the best, most tender and simply amazing meat I have ever eaten. Thank you very much, we'll be back

We were there today with 7 adults + 3 children. Everything was fine. Everyone's food was perfect and incredibly tasty. The service was extremely attentive and you never had to wait long for drinks. Conclusion: Tastes like more! See you soon ;)

I can highly recommend it. But on Sundays it's better to book in advance.

The salad was very fresh and crunchy, the grill plate with various types of meat was very well prepared and tasted great. We would be happy to come back, a clear recommendation.

We had a very tasty meal here. The waitresses were attentive and friendly.

We have previously been guests of the old Niederhuthklause and this year we booked version 2.0 (out of necessity). The booking was made in April 2024. When we arrived, we were checked in by the “patron” without asking and the answer was that we were wrong and had booked outside. Outside temperature was 5 degrees. After this was clarified, we were assigned the “cat table”. Extreme corner, directly at the tap counter. The food itself was "SUPER", but the service was unsatisfactory/minus. Even though our glasses had been empty for some time, no one asked if we would like to order anything else. Surrounding tables were cleared and customers were asked whether they would accept a nightcap on the house. We had to speak to two people from the staff to even be able to pay our bill. The “patron junior” appeared, cashed and left. NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!!!

Price/performance ratio is right...the service is very friendly...we were lucky to get a table because we didn't reserve...and that on a Tuesday

We were in Bad Neuenahr-Ahrweiler for five days and came across the Niederhutklause 2.0 restaurant by chance. We received a very friendly welcome, the atmosphere is cozy and inviting. We were both thrilled with the food, everything was very freshly prepared and super tasty. When we are in Ahrweiler again, the Niederhutklause 2.0 is our first address. Good and honest cuisine - keep it up.

We spent a business evening in this restaurant and were lucky enough to get a nice table in the bay window. The food was above average and the steaks were grilled to perfection. The service that evening was also very attentive and friendly. An absolute must for steak lovers! I give this a full five stars!

While strolling through Ahrweiler we spontaneously became aware of the Niederhutklause 2.0 and didn't regret it! The shop is comfortably furnished, the staff is super friendly, and the food - especially the meat - was very tasty. Definitely worth recommending! We'd love to come back.

Very tasty steak platter for 2 people. Price performance was also right. We'd love to come back.

Typical German cuisine in a quite central location. The staff was absent, slow and distracted. We literally sat approximately 20 min before someone would even notice us and give us the menu. The dishes had no soul and you immediately forget about the taste.

Here you will find a beautiful and cozy outdoor area, you will be served very fine and high-quality food, and you can then happily stroll through the dreamy streets of Ahrweiler's city center with a much more manageable wallet.

We sat outside. It was very warm (+33°c). Luckily we made a reservation, all tables outside were otherwise occupied. Food was simple but tasted good. Large portions.

We knew the restaurant from before the flood. Coming back there was perfect. The most delicious mushroom cream schnitzel and Schaffhauser schnitzel. Came super quickly. Very friendly service staff. Nice beer garden. What more could you want? Clear recommendation. To be on the safe side, make a reservation. Word gets around about quality at good prices.

Food was delicious, maybe a little more vegetables and croquettes next time - but otherwise top and tasteful! Service can be expanded. Ambience was fine. All in all, I would love to come back.

A cozy, well-kept restaurant with outdoor terraces directly on the street and in the courtyard. We found the food surprisingly good. The young service team is not yet perfect, but is very lovable and helpful. We were there with a larger group and everyone enjoyed it. It's worth a visit.

A visit to the Niederhutklause 2.0 in Bad Neuenahr is worth it! Modern atmosphere, diverse and high-quality food selection as well as friendly service make the restaurant a highlight. Even before the flood, THE best restaurant in town! Delicious food guaranteed! It was more comfortable in the Niederhutklause 1.0! But the Ahrtal flood ruined that :( The main thing is that the food still tastes just as good as it used to!

nice little restaurant. We were here on a Friday evening. So unfortunately it was very crowded but the volume was still really okay. very friendly service. The selection of food is sufficient. There was rump steak and the house pan, both tasted very good. We would come again, but it was still a bit too small for us and the offering was too croquette-heavy for me personally. All in all definitely worth a visit. Price-performance ratio is also perfectly fine. The restaurant is located directly on the market square in Ahrweiler. It's best to park outside the city walls, which is about a 5 minute walk. It's definitely nice to sit outside there in the summer.

Ganz anderes, weil moderneres Ambiente gegenüber der Niederhutklause 1.0 bietendes Speiselokal, bei gleichbleibend ausgezeichneter Küche zu angemessenen Preisen, freundlichem Personal und mit der noch immer und hoffentlich noch lange Zeit im Hintergrund Strippen ziehenden Chefin (la Mama). Ganz und gar nichts für Vegetarier und Veganer... Aber Fleisch kann man hier!

Ich gehe sehr gerne dorthin, um deftig und lecker zu essen.

Sehr leckeres Essen, das Fleisch war auf den Punkt zubereitet. Zudem sehr netter Service. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist sehr gut. Hochwertiges Essen darf auch angemessen bepreist werden.

Wir fühlen uns immer sehr wohl hier. Sehr lecker zubereitetes Essen. Preislich schon am oberen Ende aber Geschmack von allen Gerichten sehr gut. Beim Steak-Teller für 2 Personen hätte ich mir für die Lammfilets gewünscht, dass sie nicht so durchgebraten sind. Ein bisschen rosa innen wäre schön gewesen.

Wir sind wiederkehrende Gäste und genießen es jedesmal 👌. Probiert es einfach selbst!!

Die Steaks und das Lamm waren ein Gedicht ,Preis/Leistung passt Wen ich wieder in Ahrweiler bin weiß ich wo ich Essen gehe.

Meine Partnerin und ich, gehen bereits seit Jahren in dieses Lokal, allerdings vor der Flut 2021, am Niederhuttor war. Dies ist zur Zeit aber nicht mehr begehbar! Das Lokal 2.0 ist ein sehr gemütliches Lokal, mit einer äußerst netten Besitzerin/Wirtin, die wir schon seit über 20 Jahren kennen! Das Essen ist sehr schmackhaft und vielseitig. Gute Ahrweine werden ausgeschenkt und die Servicekräfte sind kompetent und sehr freundlich. Man sollte nach der Flutkatastrophe, wieder mehr ins Ahrtal fahren und nach einer Wanderung in der Niederhutklause 2.0 einkehren. Wie wir finden, es lohnt sich!!!

Good service, helpful and polite waiters. The food was enjoyable, but average. The salad was on the bland side. The steak was over salted but cooked well. The schnitzel was good, the mushroom sauce a little cloying. The wine list had a selection from local producers; the Fruhburgunder we had was lovely.

Ein super Essen, hier ein Lob an die Küche und eine sehr nette Bedienung. Gerne kommen wir wieder hier vorbei. Außerdem ist es schön zu sehen, dass langsam aber sicher wieder jedes Geschäft in der sehr zerstörten Altstadt von Bad Neuenahr/Ahrweiler seine Tore öffnen kann und auch die Gastronomie wieder vertreten ist. Echt klasse.

Erster Eindruck vom Restaurant war ein bisschen so lala und auch nicht so einladend. Bei der sehr kompetenten und sympathischen Dame vom Service haben wir das Zwiebel-Rumpsteak und den Grill-Teller bestellt. Von der Qualität des Fleisches waren wir sehr überrascht, auch war es auf den Punkt gebraten. Wirklich sehr gut. Die Pommes Frites und der Beilagensalat hatten dagegen noch sehr viel Luft nach Oben! Schade, hat eigentlich das Essen allg. abgewertet. Der abschließende Sliwowitz auf das Haus hat dies auch nicht mehr rausgerissen.

Wir waren mit Freunden das erste Mal hier und können wirklich nur positives Berichten. Wir hatten einen Tisch in der Gartenterrasse, größtenteils überdacht ist. Bei warmen Wetter kann man dort auch bei Regenwetter sitzen. Die Bedienung war sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Lange Wartezeiten trotz der vielen Gäste gab es nicht. Das Essen war sehr lecker und die Speisekarte hält für jeden etwas bereit. Von uns ein klarer Daumen hoch. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder.
