Ein toller Ort! Fantastische Weine, sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal. Das Essen war auch wirklich hervorragend! Ich komme gerne wieder!

Wow!! Das Antinori des Ahrtals! Schumachers Lieblingswiese ist für mich ein absoluter Geheimtipp. Die Atmosphäre mitten im Grünen ist einzigartig – und das Essen schlicht exzellent. Manche Gerichte würde man eher in einem Spitzenrestaurant erwarten, statt auf einer Wiese unter freiem Himmel. Genau das macht diesen Ort so besonders. Anne Schumacher ist Köchin und Gastgeberin zugleich – ein echtes Multitalent, das seine Gäste mit einem strahlenden Lächeln empfängt und mit viel Leidenschaft verwöhnt. Paul Schumacher ist der Winzer des Hauses und nimmt sich gerne Zeit, Fragen rund um seine Weine zu beantworten. Man spürt bei beiden die Begeisterung für das, was sie tun. Für mich ist die Lieblingswiese ein echtes Juwel – einen vergleichbaren Ort habe ich bisher nicht gefunden. Absolute Empfehlung!

It's a wonderful feeling to sit in the orchard and enjoy a glass of wine. I was able to relax during the break among the vineyards. Great homemade dip for the venison bratwurst. The manager was also happy to explain.

Tables and benches thrown together in the middle of nowhere. A special place for a good glass of wine, accompanied by a delicious grilled wild boar sausage. An unusual place, and precisely for that reason, especially beautiful!

Let your mind wander. Simply enjoy the food, wine, and ambiance. A place to unwind. Not your average place. Especially for people who (want to) take the time to experience things.

A total surprise: the old orchard with gnarled fruit trees invites you to relax. Sitting under shady canopies or umbrellas, you won't want to leave. Tasty drinks and delicious food are served by friendly hosts. It was a truly memorable experience for us. Today, in mid-October, we once again enjoyed the special atmosphere, even though it was cooler. And today, at the beginning of September 25, we once again enjoyed the special atmosphere of the orchard and sampled delicious specialties. The new building of the business premises is also noteworthy.

We were there with the team and did a wine tasting, and I have to thank Ms. Schumacher and her team once again for the fantastic organization and the ambiance! We had such a wonderful stay. It was simply something very special to sit and enjoy among the vineyards and under the fruit trees! High praise also goes to the kitchen, as there were no typical dishes, but rather very high-quality and beautifully presented dishes. The value for money and the atmosphere convinced us so much that we will definitely be back! We are excited to see what it will look like once the buildings are finished. Thank you so much for the unforgettable afternoon with you. ☀️🍇

Very nice place in the vineyard with delicious food and a nice variety of wines. We had lunch on Saturday and come back the next day because we liked it so much.

A superb, tasteful new garden restaurant and winery, a new opening after the traditional establishment down by the Ahr River. A perfect blend of family-friendly, high-quality dining with a relaxed atmosphere. The new main building is currently being completed, but it will surely be even better afterward. A quick note: The parking lot is one step above the "Google pin." We'd love to come back.

It really couldn't be more beautiful. Drinking a great glass of wine surrounded by fruit trees and vines, accompanied by something delicious to eat – what more could you want? Anne and Paul are simply fantastic hosts, and the team is amazing too, all super warm and attentive. It's so nice that you exist – thank you for everything.

Schumacher's Weinwiesenwirtschaft used to be a beautiful place. However, contrary to what Google says, it's currently closed due to extensive construction work on the site. We cycled from Bonn to the Ahr Valley for nothing. The old charm will likely be lost due to the new buildings—what a shame 😞

Lovingly combined rose decoration with matching soft pink napkins. Food was ok, but it's unlikely you'll get full there. I had the burger with mushroom top and bottom part. I thought it was exotic for the location. It was ok, but not worth repeating

The location is very nice and the ambience too. The food is rather exclusive and the wine prices are rather high for the region. €24 for a bottle and €7 for a glass, regardless of the type.

Ein Highlight im spätsommerlichen Ahrtal

Super leckerer Wein mit einem mega Ambiente, absolut empfehlenswert hier einen Stop beim Spaziergang durch die Weihnberge zu machen.

Habe noch nirgendwo eine bessere Wildbratwurst gegessen. Die Whiskey-Barbeque-Soße ist wirklich außerordentlich gut und zusammen mit einem Glas Spätburgunder PurPinot ein voller Genuß.

Wir können die Wein-Wiesenwirtschaft des Weingutes Paul Schumacher oberhalb von Marienthal an der Ahr nur wärmstens weiterempfehlen. Schon durch den freundlichen Empfang, meist von der Ehefrau Anne Schumacher und Ihrem netten Personal, fühlt man sich gleich wohl. Die Lage in den Weinbergen ist unschlagbar. Gekrönt wird das ganze mit dem entspannten Genuss eines der hervorragenden Rot- und Weißweine, die nicht umsonst schon mehrfach ausgezeichnet wurden. Sehr zu empfehlen sei auch das Speisenangebot. Es gibt feine Tapas bis leckere kleine Gerichte. Alle sind Besonders ! Unser Favorit ist ein spezieller Ziegenkäse vom Grill u.a. mit feinen Kräutern, in speziellen Grilltöpfen aus Adendorf gegart. Dies alles ist ein Grund für uns regelmäßig an die Ahr zu fahren oben zur Weinwiesenwirtschaft der Familie Schumacher.

Hoch über dem Ahrtal, mitten in den Reben auf einer Obstwiese gelegen, ist die Wiesenwirtschaft des Weingut's Paul Schumacher ein Ort, der durch den Ahrflut-bedingten Standortwechsel noch an Magie gewonnen hat. Die Küche bietet unvermindert feine, liebevoll zubereitete Gerichte - Straußwirtschaft auf Sterneniveau... jetzt noch näher am echten Sternenhimmel! Einfach den Hinweisen folgen und Google-Maps hilft auch bei der Wegsuche - es lohnt sich!!!

Was für eine tolle Straußwirtschaft! Wir waren am vergangenen Samstag mit 3 Generationen vor Ort und hatten einen herrlichen Aufenthalt. Zwischen Weinbergen und Apfelbäumen haben wir das selbstgemachte, leckere Essen und den freundlichen Service genossen, guten Wein getrunken und in idyllischem Ambiente einen wundervollen Sommertag verbracht. Vielen Dank für die schönen Stunden bei Ihnen, von denen wir noch immer alle schwärmen, Familie Schuhmacher! Die nächste Wanderung im Ahrtal folgt in den kommenden Wochen mit ganz klarem Ziel: Ihre Straußwirtschaft
