I'm a regular at the Flying Ship. The pizza is delicious, as are the appetizers. I always make a reservation, although there was still enough space. In summer the terrace is ideal. Large umbrellas and not visible from the street. There is often a noisy atmosphere in the interior. Nevertheless, I can recommend the Flying Ship.

An unforgettable day in the Walschänke Distelklinge We celebrated our wedding on April 17th, 2025 in the Walschänke Distelklinge - and it was simply fantastic! We received a warm welcome and professional advice right from the planning stage. The team was there for us at all times, thought along, implemented our wishes and put a lot of passion into making sure that our big day was perfect. The location itself is an absolute insider tip: surrounded by greenery, idyllic and with a very special charm. Our guests were thrilled by the rustic-elegant ambience – a wonderful mix of comfort and style. The food was a real highlight! Fresh, regional, lovingly prepared and tasted at the highest level. Special requests were also implemented without any problems. It was brilliant that the boss conjured up such a delicious wedding cake for us. We would particularly like to emphasize the service: friendly, attentive and pleasantly unobtrusive - simply completely professional. We felt comfortable and welcome from the first moment. Our wedding in the Distelklinge was exactly as we dreamed it would be - maybe even a little more beautiful. Thanks to the entire team for this unforgettable experience! Half an hour before closing time, orders are no longer accepted, even though customers are still there and getting food. Then it should be open until 9:30 p.m. and not until 10 p.m.... just not ok..

Cozy little restaurant with good home cooking.

Rustic atmosphere, delicious food, service unfortunately not really there. Paying by card is only possible if the entire amount is paid by one person and even with a group turnover of €200, individual payments are not made either in cash or by card. A bit disappointing these days!

The food was really, really tasty and delivery was much quicker than the Lieferando app said. The driver was 25 minutes earlier, so there was no problem. I'd be happy to come back

We always get their white rice and a side of crispy chicken and it’s always delicious! Simple but delicious and fast service!

Looked for 4-5 minutes for someone who worked in the restaurant, finally two came just as we were about to leave. Inedible hamburger, how do you manage to do that, everything was semi-finished and very expensive to be.

Had dinner there with 8 people on Easter Sunday. It's understandable that there's a bit more going on on such holidays and it's only natural that you have to wait 10 minutes longer for your food, but the fact that all the starters only come to the table after waiting for over an hour (3 salads) and the main courses only arrive after 2 hours is no longer acceptable, especially since all the dishes were cold to just lukewarm. Cevapcici were frozen and not completely cooked through and an onion roast that was supposed to be medium rare was completely cooked Preferably zero stars Service was also so-so because at the beginning everyone was friendly but after about 30 minutes of waiting no waiter came to the table and we were only given suspicious looks. In my opinion, all in all unacceptable. I will not visit this restaurant again and will not recommend it to others.

For me the best kebab in Filderstadt! The meat is of high quality and the remaining ingredients are always fresh.

Monday evening and not a single table available speaks for itself. We ordered a meat platter for 20 people, and it was excellent. The sauerkraut was delicious, the meat was tender, and the sausages were just right.
