The restaurant now serves Greek cuisine, and it is really excellent. We came by here by chance as there was hardly anything open on Mondays. All the other dishes that came out of the kitchen towards the other guests also looked very tasty. The price is also really fair.

Unfortunately I cannot recommend this restaurant. The food was of poor quality and didn't taste good at all, especially compared to the high prices. The portions were small and not well prepared. Additionally, the wait staff was overbearing and rude, which made the experience even worse. You didn't feel welcome, which is simply not acceptable in a restaurant. Overall it was a disappointing experience and I definitely won't be returning.

Disappointing and overpriced! I recently dined at this restaurant and was really disappointed. The portions were far too small, so none of us were full, even though the prices were completely exorbitant. When we complained about this, the boss offered us an additional portion - but we were then charged full price! Dealing with guests was unpleasant and we were even hesitant about accepting the usual Uzo as we feared that this would also end up as an extra on the bill. I'm definitely not coming back here!

I'm not a fan of bad reviews but I have to make an exception here. Lunch (3 people) with colleagues during the lunch break. The waiter takes the order and, after a little joking "we're 3 hungry men" from my colleague, says with a smile that we'll definitely get the right portions and don't have to worry about it. We ordered 3x gyro plates for €16.50 according to the menu with rice, tzatziki and salad plus a drink each. We waited hungrily for our plates and all three of us had to look at each other in surprise when they were brought to us. A small portion of gyros with traditional frozen fries (we didn't expect anything else, even if the price for a gyro plate in this location would have suggested more) and a small bowl of tzatziki. Unfortunately, the food wasn't particularly tasty, which could have justified the price if the portion was already small. When the waiter asked during the meal whether everything was ok, we again jokingly said, "Well, unfortunately it's not a men's hungry portion," whereupon the waiter said: No problem, if I should bring something else, I do what we didn't reject. When he presented us with the bill at the end and we not only had to pay €1 more because we swapped a side dish (rice for fries), but on top of that we were charged €16.50 for the meat that was added (without fries), we almost fell over Believing. Conclusion: Really cheeky, not good quality and then the customer was ripped off. We declined the ouzo that was offered at the end so that we didn't find it on the bill. We definitely won't go there again!!

The food is really delicious. Also the staff is really friendly. Order steak and wine and you will be happy.

We've eaten in the tavern again for a long time. We come from Backnang and the route is not the shortest. Nevertheless, every kilometer is worth it to try the food!!! The service was very good and nice. We ordered some starters and two main courses. As expected, the food arrived quickly and the time between the meal and the main course was neither too long nor too short, so that it was easy to digest and still look forward to the main course. All in all, the team served us a great dinner and at the end we also got ouzo on the house😁 Thank you for the great afternoon

I recently visited Edelweiss Restaurant and had a very good experience! The staff was very friendly and the service was first class. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting.

We were welcomed very friendly, with a smile and were able to find our comfortable place in the beer garden. The menu is very clear and there is something for everyone. The starter was delicious and the main course was also beautifully presented. Price-performance fits. Pleasant for families in summer, as there is a playground next door with a passage and four-legged friends are also very welcome. We will be back.

We were there with 3 people, the canal was closed only the garden restaurant was open. An hour wait for the first meal Macchiato Another 10 minutes later the second meal came and after another 15 minutes the third person got the food, the first person had already finished eating. The restaurant was only a third full of guests but four waitresses were overwhelmed. When I asked where the last meal was, the answer was that they just have to wait. Other guests who were there after us were delivered their food earlier, Unfortunately I can only give the restaurant 1 star. I will no longer visit this restaurant nor recommend it to others

Very nice and courteous service staff. The menu offers an extensive range of classic Greek specialties. The cuisine is of excellent quality, tastes very tasty and fresh. Keep it up, I'm looking forward to my next visit.

It's a shame I tried it once, never tried it again, the first time I got food to take away, warm starter platter without bread, how are you supposed to eat all the spreads...Tarama didn't taste like anything...the vegetables and the octopus are in the oil in the box swam, we both had diarrhea at home, it was probably too much fat. The ambience inside was fine, eating right on the street, well... service was nice. Unfortunately still disappointed, will go back to our regular Greeks next time.

Very friendly service, the Greek rosé wines on offer were allowed to be tasted before ordering. After our meal we were offered an ouzo or espresso, a nice gesture. However, the pleasant impression was turned somewhat negative for me by the pricing. The price for 0.2 wine is 7.60€, quite justified, for the reorder of 0.1 we were charged 4.80€! More than incomprehensible... A small portion of tzatziki, about a tablespoon in quantity, was served with the gyros, unfortunately a bit dry. The request for a little more was happily fulfilled - and the same amount was charged as "extra sauce" at €2... They may be small things, but they made me very uncomfortable.

The food was very good, salad looked fresh and tasty, everything was nicely prepared. We were there twice today. Every time the service is top and very nice. Ambiance just like a clubhouse. Nicely prepared but not secret. Nevertheless, I would happily recommend it

We had made a reservation by phone for January 10th and were standing in front of a closed door with 10 people. That's not how you treat customers, a rejection would have been the minimum! (January 2022) Update February 2023 We wanted to give the restaurant another chance. This time, just to be on the safe side, we called a week before the agreed date and were told that there was no reservation and that the restaurant was closed that day!

Kalamari and Mousaka both were well made. Service was ofcourse excellent.

Been there for the 3rd time today and unfortunately not happy at all. Everything was delicious so far but the rump steak was very tough and not recommended. Despite mentioning that the meat is very tough, I also paid 1.50 more for side dishes when ordering. I've never left any meat left over but my joy was greatly diminished today. The tenants were all very friendly but the quality of the meat from the rump steak was simply not good.

The restaurant is quite uncomfortable because the ceiling height is too high. This affects the ambience. There is no tablecloth for the price. The portions that are delivered are relatively small for the price and visually they don't exactly correspond to the price. The taste of the dishes is only mediocre and slightly excessive for the price. However, the landlord is friendly and the food is delivered quickly. Unfortunately, the menu is relatively confusing and seems rather simple as it is just a DIN A3 page. We were slightly disappointed with the restaurant and I would recommend another restaurant.

The Taverna Edelweiss,☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️ The four of us spent a lovely evening here with delicious Greek specialties. Starter, salad, skewers or grill plate, everything tasted excellent. The Galaktoboureko was a crowning conclusion and my personal highlight... super tasty! We'd love to come back.

Wir waren heute das erste Mal im Radsportheim seit der Pächter gewechselt hat. Hatten Pute vom Grill und Zwiebelrostbraten. Pute war lecker. Zwiebelrostbraten war etwas zu medium. Dafür gab es ZWEI Ouzo aufs Haus und der Service war super nett und immer aufmerksam. Was uns sehr gefallen hat ist das geänderte Ambiente. Das Hallen-Gefühl ist nicht mehr vorhanden. Es fühlt sich gemütlich an. Im Hintergrund läuft griechische Musik. So laut, daß man sie hört aber trotzdem so dezent, daß man sich unterhalten kann. Wir finden das neue Konzept klasse und kommen bestimmt wieder. Dem neuen Team einen guten Rutsch ins neue Jahr und viel Erfolg. Macht weiter so !!!

Leckeres Essen und höfliches Personal !

Der Service war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, das Restaurant beim Betreten aber auch nur zu einem Viertel gefüllt. Die Getränke und Speisewünsche wurden schnell aufgenommen. Alles wurde sehr schnell serviert und alle Wünsche berücksichtigt. Das Knoblauchbrot ist anders, als man es vielleicht sonst kennt, aber sehr lecker. Der Salat ist frisch und gut angemacht. Das Tzatziki war sehr cremig und lecker. Beim Gyros waren die Pommes schön Cross und trieften nicht vor Fett wie in vielen anderen Restaurants. Lediglich das Gyrosfleich als solches bekommt 2 Sterne Abzug, weil es extrem trocken war und so geschmeckt hat, wie Gyros schmeckt, wenn er 30 Minuten zuvor geschnitten wurde und lediglich warmgehalten wurde. Die Bilder der übrigen Rezensionen lassen aber den Schluss zu, dass es auch frischer geht. Trotz dieses kleinen Lapsus, kommen wir bestimmt wieder.

Було дуже мало відвідувачів, тому змогли насолодитися смачною їжею в спокійній атмосфері. Порції достатньо великі, також є чудове пиво. Ціни помірні, співвідносні до якості їжі та закладу в цілому. Зал розділений на зони, гарно прикрашений до різдвяних свят. Уважне та привітне обслуговування. Якщо будете поруч - не проходьте повз.

Essen erste Sahne, hat sehr gut geschmeckt, Bedienung sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Leider auf der Sonnenseite keine Fenster in Sitzhöhe. Trotzdem immer wieder gerne. 😀

Laute Geräuschkulisse. Zu wenig vegetarisch. Ungemütlich. Bedienung hat uns 2x missverstanden. Der 1. Grieche, bei dem es keinen Ouzo oder Likör zum Schluss gibt.

Endstufe an Freundlichkeit. War etwas kränklich und konnte kaum etwas essen. Kein Problem, wurde liebevoll eingepackt und mit ner frischen Schale knoblauchsouce an den Tisch gebracht. Komme auf jeden Fall wieder. Hier schmeckt alles super und top frische Qualität.

Haben uns bei den neuen Betreibetn sehr gut aufgehoben gefühlt. Das Essen war lecker und der Gastgeber sehr zuvorkommend. Wir kommen sicher wieder!

Der Laden hat mit dem neuen Pächter eine sehr große Zukunft ! Große Portionen zu ordentlichen Preisen ! Glaube in der Umgebung gibt es keinen anderen mit solch einem Preis- Leistungsverhältnis. Das Gyros ist sehr gut, und auch mundgerecht geschnitten. Habe gehört, dass der Gyros morgens von Hand gemacht wird. Eine sehr schöne Weinkarte gibt es auch mit einem sehr schönen Weinschrank. Zu jedem Gericht kann man sich einen dazu passenden Wein aussuchen, selten so eine Auswahl zu haben. Die Nachspeisen sind sehr geschmackvoll. Mittlere Auswahl. Griechische Klassiker ! Den schönen Biergarten werde ich hoffentlich im nächsten Jahr noch bei gutem Wetter erleben ! Großes Potenzial ein Stammlokal zu werden

Wir haben gestern die Taverne Edelweiß besucht und zwei Grillteller( Souvlaki, Gyros, Steak) bestellt. Das Gyros war gut, das Steak etwas trocken. Der Beilagensalat und das Pittabrot haben geschmeckt. Die Portion Reis war sehr klein, leider auch trocken und zu wenig gewürzt. Beim Bezahlen der Rechnung wurde uns ein "Ouzo aufs Haus" angeboten, der aber leider nicht den Weg an unseren Tisch fand, weil er vergessen wurde! Insgesamt besteht also noch Luft nach oben.

Das Schnitzel war sehr klein und dünn , Spätzle nicht selbst gemacht .

Ich habe diesen Ort geliebt. Das Essen war sehr lecker, was Lust auf Wiederholung macht, ich habe den Salat wirklich genossen. Erstklassige Betreuung sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Ich habe meinen Aufenthalt hier wirklich genossen, ich empfehle es, wenn Sie einen schönen Abend mit jemandem Besonderem oder Freunden verbbringen möchten, hat dieser Ort eine charmante Atmosphäre, sehr vernünftige Preise. ich hoffe, Sie genießen es so wie wir.

Aller Anfang ist schwer, aber der Wille ist beim Pächter Mario zu Spüren. Und Er wird es schaffen mit der Deutsch-Italienischen Küche. Davon bin ich überzeugt. Mann muss noch etwas Geduld haben...... Aber für die Zukunft ist das Lokal ein Geheim-Tipp.

Das Essen war nicht so toll. Preis Leistung stimmt nicht. Unliebsam angerichtet. Preise zu hoch.

Schön gelegenes Restaurant am besten mit dem Rad. Hat aber auch ein paar wenige Parkplätze. Essen ist lecker. Für fast jeden was dabei und die Preise sind noch bezahlbar.
